Perfect place to bring a date. Friendly staff and great entertainment. Large dance floor and we went on a night the pasta house catered. The salad was the only thing we liked but the rat pack show was great!

It's obvious this place was a big deal back in the day. It could definitely use some freshening appearance wise but it seemed clean. The guy who was directing seating seemed to be in charge and he was doing everything to help the staff. We say a dwrafanators match here. It was a really good experience.

I love this place, it is historic. It is a great place to go for dancing, especially ballroom dancing. But, if you don't know how to ballroom dance, that's okay because they have many bands that come in so you can just boogie how you want. They also give free little dance lessons sometimes before the band starts. I just wish they had bathrooms on the ground floor. You have to climb a good set of stairs to use the bathroom, which is hard on older knees. Also, it's quite dark up those stairs. Still, love this place though, as many famous people have played here back in the day.

I cannot say enough good things about the Casa Loma. First Pat and Teri are so nice and easy to work with. They wanted to make our reception perfect, and they did. My daughter and son in-law weddind was on December 10, 22. A week later I am still getting calls about how nice there wedding was. I loved the uniqueness of the Casa Loma. Pat and Teri don't only own the venue, but, the went so far above what any other venue will do. I had so many special requests and their reply was always "we can do that for you". All their employees have been there far 15 years or more and were so pleasant to all our guest. Chef Larry had the best wedding buffet I ever had. When you book your event at the Casa Loma pat and Teri treat you like family. We looked at other venues and I thought many had a very cold atmosphere. There are many different food and drink packages to pick from. They are also, the most reasonably priced venue. Before you choose your venue please stop by and talk to Pat and Teri. You will not be sorry. Chris was the DJ for the night and he was fun. His interactions with the guest and wedding party was fun to watch.

What an AWESOME VINTAGE VENUE SPACE. MY PARENTS ATTENDED MANY Music and Dance events and venues here. I am Very Impressed with the care that has been taken of this space. I wish that the owners would use this space for concerts and also for weddings or even special events ie: for Benton Park and Benton Park West. Beautiful space!!!

The Casa Loma has a special place in my heart as a swing dancer. The floor is incredible, they always bring in amazing bands, and the staff is friendly. Anyone who gets a chance should come experience the beauty of the ballroom for themselves!

Opportunity to dance at a classic venue. Frank Sinatra and other greats once played this venue. Beautiful dance floor. May not last much longer. They unfortunately don't market themselves well and the concession on the main floor isn't the elevated standard it should be to make the experience special.

A wonderful place to dance! The Casa Loma is a beautiful venue with a great floor. Staff always has a smile on their face and are helpful. Bathrooms are always clean and taken care of as well! $10 cover for a live band, lessons, and dancing in a beautiful venue is a steal!! Enjoy!

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! We had our wedding reception here last year and it was perfect! The owners Terry and Pat were the absolute best to work with! Terry made my vision come to life! All we had to do was drop our decorations off the day before and she and her staff set everything up! She sent me pictures so I wouldn’t worry! Planning a wedding is so stressful but the easiest part was chosing the Casa Loma to have our reception! The catering was amazing and the fact that everything is included under one price per guest made it a breeze! The bartenders were so nice and my guest are still telling us a year later that it was the BEST wedding they had ever been too!! Thank you Terry and Pat for everything!! You truly made the most important day of our lives the most perfect day of our lives too!! If you have not checked this place out for your wedding you missing out!!

We had our wedding at Casa Loma on 10/12/19. As soon as Pat turned on the lights when we were looking around for wedding venues, we knew this was an incredibly special place. Everything from the dance floor and the classic decorations everywhere to the family treatment we received from Pat and Teri since day one of planning made our day infinitely better. Casa Loma has plenty of space for whatever size wedding you will be hosting and is built for lots of dancing and partying. Pat and Teri were unbelievably helpful through all of our engagement too. Any question we had was answered in a quick phone call, unique requests to make the day special for us were encouraged, and the experience of everyone working there to host a large event made the day run smoothly with zero stress. Pat and Teri, we can't thank you enough for helping us with our wedding and we especially can't wait to come back every year to dance on the ballroom floor and reminisce about where we started our lives together.

A great way to get tendo old Saint Louis. Coming here even just to watch people dance is a great treat. The drinks are cheap the service is great and people have a good time! Planning to come back soon for a different music venue last time was big brass band!

This venue was a beautiful choice for our Prom. With such a large group of students attending this was the perfect venue to accommodate a large number with ease. The food provided by Championship Catering was wonderful and Arriba Audio was a fun DJ that make the entire experience the "Full Package". We are very excited to plan another prom event here in the future!

This Ball Room is an absolute TREASURE. It is gorgeous and delightfully vintage. So few venues still exist with the charm of period decor, a stage, balconies, bar, and a proper dance floor. It's the whole package and definitely one of the best examples of a period dance hall that I've seen.

We went for an evening of swing dancing. Lessons started at around 7 or 7:30. (Call them to make sure on the time.) Anyway, they give you a lesson and if you don't have a partner you just dance with whoever is standing near you. Then around 8 the band begins playing, and oh my goodness it was fun! I'm looking forward to going back! The bar offers very basic drinks oh, and a couple kinds of wine . The prices are very reasonable . They also offer food but I don't remember the specifics. Casa Loma Ballroom has been in business since the 1920s and you can kind of tell--the decor is a blend of art deco and early 40's Big Band era. St. Louisans have been dancing there for 90 years! Would you believe my parents took disco dance lessons there in 1977? Note: the neighborhood is a little sketchy. There is a small parking lot across the street that you can pay to park at. I splurged for an Uber and I'm glad I did, I had such a carefree, fun evening. I bet you will too. Try it once, if you don't like it you don't ever have to go back. But I suspect you'll want to!

Casa Loma Ballroom is the only Ballroom I know where children can come with their parents and have an amazing time. The owners are so personable and so nice genuinely it shows throughout their staff. The only hiccup that this beautiful historic ballroom has is there is no elevator for wheelchair access. Other than that you and your family can enjoy a night out on the town!!

I've been coming here for swing music and dancing since I was in high school. Every Friday is a different swing band, but it's not always a big band. Sometimes, they have a more rock/swing band like Brian Setzer. It's down on Cherokee street, so there's plenty to do before and after dancing!

Huge & quality dance floor. Casa Loma is the go to place for Swing Lindy and other partner dancing on many Friday and Saturday nights. Never been to wedding there (but I know they host a lot since they preempt dancing on many weekends in the late spring and summer)

Great place to have a good time and dance. Classes are given at the beginning of the night for free. You get your first drink for free. Only problem is they don't serve food, so it is better to eat before going.

This 1920s ballroom, once host to famous swing acts lke Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, and Frank Sinatra, is now more commonly host to banquets and weddings, but still features dancing on some evenings. It's a lovely room with wonderful atmosphere.

My husband and I went on our wedding anniversary in April with two of my sisters and their husbands. It was our first time there. We had an absolute blast! Best time ever! My mom and dad used to go to the Casaloma in the 1940s and dance to the Big Band sounds. Mom used to recall her fond memories of those days when I was growing up. My husband and I have already been back in May, now we're coming back in a few weeks. Think we'll be dancing at the Casaloma for years to come! Great place and great times!! ❣❣

Historic ballroom for jazz music and dancing. Love visiting the Casa Loma Ballroom. Ordering from the bar is a bit of a hassle because they have a $15 minimum on credit cards, and they don't like giving water to dancers, but I love the history and sheer size of the building.

I've never been here but I'm up watching rescue 911(yes 90s era lol) an old episode I'm watching a lady past out almost died in there and they saved her life by taking her to the hospital...which you know the episode is old cause they had the old ambulances that was orange blue and white with the numbers on the side, I only knew to look it up cause they said Saint Louis MO

I have been to several events here. From Beggar's Carnivale to Class Reunions and Wedding receptions. This ballroom takes you back to the time when Americans were celebrating life in a big way! Values were being created in the city! It is an amazing venue. The staff is concerned about their service and your event set-up. You will be pleased! The dance floor is immense and you should visit here at least once! Do something different -- take dance lessons! We are currently working with them for our Gateway to Prosperity! Event #gatewaytoprosperity Missouri Humorist/Singer/Songwriter Greg Tamblyn will be the main entertainer in the evening on July 26th.
