We had the most wonderful experience with Ryan and his team at Summit Events Hall! My husband and I got married on NYE 2019 so place still had that cozy winter vibe ✨ My bridesmaids and I stayed the night before and got ready in the Airbnb available on the top floor! We especially liked the great lighting up there and the fact that there was a bathroom and kitchen 🙂 I would recommend anyone consider summit for their event!

Great staff! Ryan is terrific! Easy load in right through the back door in the alley. This is the old knights of Columbus building. Newly remodeled and air conditioned. Perfect for small-to-medium events! I'm glad to see this building back on the wedding venue list in Sioux Falls!

We held our son's wedding reception last summer. Ryan was great to work with and the historical venue was perfect for some unique photos. We had approximately 210 guests and had a perfect evening. Thank you Ryan for sharing this memorable evening with our family.

My daughter and son in law chose this venue for their wedding and it was a great experience! Even though it was 90 degrees outside on their wedding day Ryan kept the hall very cool for us- the temperature gauge read 69 degrees at one time! Very pleasant. The place has so much character that it really adds to the occasion. Ryan was extremely helpful in the planning and was very patient with our all of our questions. Daughter and son in law rented the suite upstairs and that also added a lot to the weekend for the whole wedding party. Really recommend this place! You will love it!

Got married here 10/21. The venue is beautiful. It was big enough that we fit just over 110 guests and had space for a dance floor. Everyone loved the venue, and commented on how beautiful it was. We really didn't even do much decorating, because they provided lights and a backdrop they set up for us (cost extra, definitely worth it) they also have an apartment upstairs you can rent out, which I highly recommend. I was wearing a 20 pound wedding dress, and it was very nice at the end of the night to go to my room upstairs and change, and go down to help clean up and say goodbye to everyone while not weighed down by my dress. Ryan was there, and also helped us put tables away at the end of the night, and was awesome about answering any questions we had. I loved everything about this place. If you are looking for something historical and beautiful, Summit Events Hall is what you need for sure.

Summit Events Hall was the perfect place to have our wedding ceremony and reception! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We loved it, and our guests enjoyed it as well - we received so many compliments. Ryan was fantastic to work with - super patient and so incredibly helpful! Thank you! The Summit Suite was also a great addition. Super roomy and clean - was a great spot for us to stay!

Ryan and Summit Hall were very responsive to my needs. He worked with me as I made little and big changes. The hall and surrounding rooms are beautiful and doesn't need a lot of decoration. I have noticed, looking at photos of different receptions, that you can really decorate it up or keep it simple and it looks nice either way. We also rented the upstairs apartment and that was very convenient for getting dressed and stashing away decor and gifts at the end of the night.

We rented both the hall and the suite for our wedding in June 2020. We used the suite for family staying the nights before and after the wedding, and all of the bridesmaids got ready there the morning of. The hall was perfect for our reception. Most of all, Summit Events Hall was completely flexible and supportive of all of our changes due to COVID. The day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about anything.

Jane and her team graciously hosted our company's Christmas party last month, a group of approximately 110 people. The space worked very well and myself and our staff really enjoyed the experience. Jane did a great job of making the process easy, they were very flexible with our needs, and the hall was nicely decorated for the season. The space is very classy. We'd recommend you try it!

What a Fantastic place to stay. My girlfriend and I stayed the night at Summit Events Hall and were very impressed. For $52 we had our own apartment for the night. Beautiful bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom. The owner Jane was so helpful and really made us feel at home. The place has Wi-Fi and the owner even has beverages in the fridge. We are on a trip to Montana and my girlfriend found this place to stay on Airbnb and I'm so glad we did. Don't waste your time at a hotel when you can stay at Summit Events.

This is a very historic building I would of loved to explore and get to know the backstory of the building. It was great for a wedding reception and would be great for many other events or any other get together.

The hall has a lot of character with a lot of it's original wood work and interior still well kept. The hallways and entry rooms get a little tight with large events but overall a good and unique venue.

Just make sure to read the contract before signing. Extra for water, no beverages brought in, you must purchase venue insurance. The whole affair went smoothly. Just be very sure about what you are getting and what you can and can't do. Extra to add access to certain rooms. No outside alcohol. I'm sure they may be using common practices for today, I wouldn't know. This country bumpkin sure was surprised by the seemingly draconian practices. I'm sure that they followed their contract, just be sure to read it thoroughly, my daughter did not and learned a valuable life lesson. To reiterate, I am not making any accusations of wrongdoing, just disappointment.
