Willow and Ivy Events, and more specifically Alex and Chelsea, are a fantastic choice for a Wedding Coordinator/Planner! We found Alex and immediately knew she was the right person for us. We booked her for the Partial Planning package, which included partial design planning as well as month and day of coordination. I am a super Type-A control freak, so I was super worried about letting go of the little bits and pieces, but Alex was easy to trust. She was communicative, professional, and extremely measured. Having her to bounce ideas off of and reign in my weird panicked thoughts was SO amazing. When we got to the day, I was able to completely let go over all the tasks that needed to be done and truly ENJOY myself. She made it seem so easy, but I know she's was all over the place, coordinating, herding my unruly guests, making sure my husband and I were in the right place at the right time. She was a super human! She had Chelsea, one of her team members, with her that day and together they were on top of it! I highly recommend hiring Willow and Ivy Events, I trust them implicitly and I know that everyone on their team is Grade A.

I am so so glad I found Alex and Willow and Ivy Events! Leading up to the wedding, communication with Alex was quick and easy. She is organized and makes sure to ask all the right questions so that no detail is missed. On the day of the wedding she was amazing. Took care of everything and was rolled with the punches! Every time I (the bride) saw her, she had a smile on her face and asked if I needed anything. If anything had gone wrong, I still have no idea! She is fun, organized, thoughtful and just a really good person. Can’t recommend her enough!!

I can confidently say that our wedding would not have gone very smooth at all if it wasn't for Alex. She is incredibly responsive and was able to answer any question we had, and was absolutely vital to our big day's success. She worked really well with all our vendors, and all of our vendors loved working with her as well. She checked in with us all the time to see how planning was going and making sure we weren't missing any details, big or small (and lots of things that we wouldn't have even thought of!). She was willing to have the tough conversations when things got a bit sticky with our venue a couple months before the wedding and smoothed everything over. We cannot give nearly enough praise and thanks to Alex for being there for us during our planning all the way through the big day. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone without hesitation.

We worked with Alex for one month for our June 2019 wedding. After interviewing several different day/month-of coordinators, Alex was the easiest decision to make in our wedding planning process. During her month-of service, Alex was easy to work with, consistently responsive to our emails and texts, and left us with a sense of confidence as we finalized our wedding plans. She was friendly and gave her honest advice with questions and concerns that we had. Alex was also great when working with our bridal party and family. She gave precise directions and left everyone feeling prepared for the wedding. It was also wonderful that she handled the decorations for us the week prior to our wedding. This gave my husband and I peace of mind in the final week of planning. On our wedding day, Alex and her team made our wedding perfect. Every little detail was accounted for, and any questions or problems I had were immediately handled by her and her team. We worked with Alex for 9 months to plan our wedding on July 27, 2019. As a couple planning a wedding across the country, from the East Coast to Seattle, we interviewed quite a few wedding planners we felt like we could fully trust. Upon first speaking with Alex, she gave us a reliable yet approachable vibe with great rates so we decided to work with Willow and Ivy Events. Planning a wedding, especially from afar, is not an easy task but Alex made it really seamless for us. She was super detail oriented and really focused hard on what we wanted while staying within our overall budget. She seemed to have a lot of connections with great vendors in the industry. We loved all our vendors Alex recommended! When I had difficulty finding a makeup artist and had extremely specific requirements, she did not make me feel like a bridezilla and tried her best to accommodate my needs. We would have been 100x more stressed out without Alex helping us plan. We were stress-free during most of our planning process! She was flexible with last minute changes – from bridesmaid leaving to adding last minute speeches. We didn’t even have to worry about our table settings since Alex tied all the ribbons on the utensils for us. The wedding day was perfect, and our parents who are extremely picky praised the wedding and said that everything was perfect, without even one minor flaw. We were able to enjoy the wedding without worrying about schedules and details because Alex and her assistant were there to lead the whole day. We felt like we were attending some amazing party and had a great day 😊 Thank you Alex and Willow and Ivy Events!!

I cannot recommend Alex from Willow & Ivy Events enough. I'm a fellow wedding vendor, and the first time we got the opportunity to work together, Alex was dealt less than ideal circumstances to deliver an incredible event, but she KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK ANYWAY! She was level-headed, personal, extremely kind, and professional the whole day through, and I can't imagine what the day would have been like without her! Highly recommend! I loved working with Alex and team. Communication was always open and easy with her. She is incredibly organized. There is so much that goes into the process and our first meeting with her, she made us feel at ease. She is so approachable and professional. Selecting a planner when you’re already opinionated and have multiple Pinterest boards running, can be overwhelming and stressful :) Letting go of control was easy with Alex, as she demonstrates a confidence and competency that is both settling and inspiring. Out of the gate, Alex worked diligently to level set our expectations with hers, ensuring we worked together for the same goal. While this may seem insignificant, the duration of our time together proved otherwise, with the whole process being more in sync: from communication frequency and style, to timeline, budget, and contingency plans. As I’m sure is the case for most couples, we wanted to a planner who would feel comfortable “managing” many personalities and not get trampled over during the chaos of the big day. Alex stood strong, commanding attention and respect, making sure our needs/wishes were respected and heard. With that said, Alex is willing to lend a different opinion if she thinks it will benefit the couple. Our wedding was not her first Rodeo, and it shows. She anticipates with skilled precision. Did I mention she’s cute as a button? We loved working with Alex, and know you will too! Great value for quality expertise!

As the mother of the groom, I cannot give strong enough accolades for all Alex and Lizzy did to make my son and his bride’s day the “best day ever.” The decision to reach out to this team was one of the smartest judgement calls they made. With all the Covid rules and changes, Alex and Lizzie did a remarkable job of planning a perfect elopement dinner. Because we were hosting from our accommodations, Lizzy had to be a little nervous about a set up that she couldn't' see until 48 hours prior to the wedding! But she was calm and so open to our thoughts, suggestions and concerns. When we walked into the house after the ceremony, the rooms were absolutely magical! We were so pleased. Their attention to details for the tables, chairs, flowers, candles and especially the Chef, who made an amazing dinner, were all magnificent. This elopement may have taken place during COVID, but throughout the evening, we were all able to forget about that and enjoy the atmosphere created so expertly by Alex and Lizzy at Willow and Ivy.

If you're looking for a sign to hire Alex as your event planner this is it! I worked with Alex + her team this last Saturday at the UW Center for Horticulture and I couldn't get on here quick enough to send her all of the praises! Here are just a few of the many reasons you should give her all your money for planning: - She is FAST at responding to emails and texts. In a busy world and a saturated market you want someone who is going to get back to you quickly and she sincerely does. You're not just her priority the day of the wedding or event but the months leading up as well. - She is quite literally your ride or die come wedding day. If you want someone who is going to have you, and your families best interest in mind when things get a little wild or run a little behind she is your person. I witnessed her in action making what needed to happen exactly when it needed to happen. She takes initiative and I applaud her. - From a vendors perspective she's a saint. She lined our timelines up perfectly and left us a little additional time. Most photographers are constantly rushed through photos; she allowed us for AMPLE time. Alex made my day better + easier which 100% allowed me to focus on our clients experience and gave me the time and flow I needed to make rad art. Can I get a hallelujah? Come dinner time she made sure we were fed when the wedding party ate so we could get back to work quickly. She provided us with a lovely candle lit table in a quiet area where we could see everything happening and so we could enjoy dinner + get back to work on the toasts and reception quickly. There are many many more reasons why Alex and her team rock at their job but I'll end it with this. If you're looking for someone who is straight **** D E D I C A T E D **** to making your event or wedding exactly how you want it, Alex will bring your vision to life and make it go smooth as freaking butter baby!
