The check in and checkout was efficient. The collection of the camera and other gear is phenomenal. The one day pricing for the weekend is perfect for casual photographers. Parking is tricky and if street parking occupied the nearby paid parking is expensive for a 5 min drop off or pickup.

Glazer Camera Rental is an ideal place for renting a camera lens or other photography equipments in Greater Seattle area. They have a wide variety of lens collections, with great quality and reasonable price. Also the staff are kind and supportive. Definitely recommend!

I may know a thing or two about video equipment, lighting, cameras lenses etc... Glazers is a Professional Video, photography equipment rentals. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. This was my first Commercial shoot in Seattle and they made it easy for me.

I have been renting lenses and other camera equipment since 2020. My issue with glazer's rentals has always been the customer service and not getting their story straight. A few of the workers are nice. But there are others that are either having a bad day and take it out on you or just won't give you the time of day. I have had both good experiences and bad experiences when it comes to their customer service. It would be helpful for Glazer's rental to update their pdf file for their rental list with the actual terminology that the manufacturer uses or have a sku number or manufacturer number or something so you know what you are renting. If their customer service was better that I would probably give them a four out of five stars. But it depends on the person and the day. Also, when I ask about a deposit for a lens, the story varies from $$$ deposit to literally the price of a brand new lens depending on who you ask. Glazer's should clean up their act in the rental department. While I still plan on renting from them in the future, I do so because it is my only option without going online and paying for shipping.

Staff are highly knowledgeable. When given environmental conditions we’d face on our trip across Southern Africa, they were able to help us choose the right camera. They had suggestions for batteries needed, protective gear, and more. They also didn’t mind that it took us three visits to decide. They were always courteous and warm even as we fretted at spending so much money. And in the end it was worth it!

November 2020: during covid: so far the experiences has been great. Friendly staff. Easy pickup and delivery. It’s is cheaper compared to Borrow lenses. You can rental on Saturday and can return on Monday and the most of it. However, Its better to buy the stuff if you’re going to pay more than 40% of the cost of the product in rental

I am about to move to Tacoma from West Seattle. Realizing there just isn't any good shops in the South Sound. Glazer's has been a great place to rent from. Pricing is fair, service is amazing and the gear is always in great shape. I had a few instances where they were very willing to work with me on my deposit and a few other situations, due to my history of renting with them. Meaning, they are very focused on customer service and loyalty. They always have the gear I need available as well. Definitely recommend these guys. The Glazer's store is also amazing and everytime I go in there, it's very low pressure, informative, educational service.

Rented from here 3 times so far and have been pleased. Will use them again. A good selection of gear readily available. My only issue is that 1 out of the 3 times I rented a light kit, one of the stands that came with it was broken - wouldn't tighten. I didn't think to check before I left, so we were down a light for the shoot. Wasn't a big deal, but I'd recommend remembering to check the gear yourself as well to see what you're leaving with. Other than that one time, it's been great.

This place became a lot friendlier, perhaps it’s because I look older and more serious about my Work than when I was in my 20s which is when I stopped going. Back then nobody would help me or answer questions. There are a lot of new faces and a few of the older ones I remember. there used to be three locations, the equipment store, the rental store, and the camera store, now they have one large building. I am primarily a film shooter and I like to buy film and bring it home when I need it so buying locally to me has become important. and as much as helping local businesses. I decided to give a second chance to the store after about 10 years, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised that they change their customer service for the good. I will keep Shopping from this store, they have customer parking which is nice with all the development going on around them. I recommend this store to everyone even if just for the eye candy of cameras and lenses 😃

I called ahead for a last minute rental and they suggested a reservation to ensure it would be available when I arrived. I decided to take a chance and showed up without reserving anything and as it turned out, I really didn't know what I needed. Their staff helped me determine what equipment to use and were very fast and thorough. Their prices and deposit were very fair and reasonable. If I need to rent equipment again, I will certainly go back.

This place is a savior for photographers, both professional and amateur. Amazing selection of all things photography. They make renting very easy, with a simple deposit based on the items you want to rent. They have helped me with same day rentals as well. They also have sales on items and I have recently purchased a back up D750 Nikon in great shape at a very good price. This is the perfect answer gor anyone looking for that one off item you rarely use, or to try out aomething in the field you have been thinking of buying. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly as well. Highly reccomend!

Good cameras, gear, and lighting equipment. However staff is quite condescending; I simply asked about how and when the deposit payment would work because some rental businesses have it differently and I wanted clarity, I was met with smart remarks and rude tones as if I'm wasting their time. Happened more than once when renting with a buddy on multiple topics of discussion, thankfully they're not the only camera gear rental business in WA.

I've been renting equipment from Glazer's for a few years now and every single time it's been a really positive experience. It's the staff that really make it what it is. If I have questions, they take the time to answer. When I've needed to change or add an item to the rental, there's never been an issue. Most importantly, they know about the gear they're renting out and look after it. In 20+ rentals I've only had one issue with a piece of gear and they sorted it right away. Yes, parking has been a pain while DOT's been working on Mercer, but I don't hold that against Glazer's Rentals. I have been able to find parking along the street in front pretty much every time and if not, use their carts to get the gear loaded. There are other options in Seattle, but Glazer's will always be my first choice for rentals. The staff at Glazer's Rentals rocks!

The gentleman there was being quite short, cold, and not friendly. Wasn’t a direct ass of anything but not very welcoming. The rest of the staff seemed to be very welcoming. Just thought I’d share.

Great service with everything I need. The worst part of going to Glazer's is the lack of parking. They picked a terrible location for a rental company. It's hard to find a spot in front so it can be a hassle to park down the street and hawl your equipment to your car. But besides that annoyance, this is your top notch rental company in Seattle.

Dennis in the rental department is like a camera Yoda! The force of the shutter is strong with him. Everyone else there is pretty much on jedi photographer level too though. I always get what I need and they are quick to help me out. The only problem i see with this place is the location, traffic around rush our is just insane!
