Highly Recommend Dance Doctors! (a Utah Live Band) Dance Doctors were the stars of the show! They absolutely nailed our first dance songs, which were a medley of 2 songs that they executed perfectly. They brought really high energy and our guests were on the dance floor all night long! We opted for the 10pc band and the lead singers had incredible vocal range and diversity in song selection. We included the Hora and Dance Doctors did an excellent job - probably the highlight of our night! To us, music was one of the most important elements in our wedding, and as New Yorker's we didn't hear the band live in advanced, however we absolutely 100% made the best choice by booking Dance Doctors and highly recommend!!

All I can say is WOW!!!! We used Utah live bands to book a band for my husband and my 40th birthday bash and I cannot even say how AWESOME the band was!!!! We contacted them about wanting an 80’s band and they sent us a few choices Paradise City was incredible, they sounded so good!!! They were so engaging and made the party a hit!!! I would highly recommend booking a band through Utah live bands for all your events and especially Paradise City!!!

I am an event planner for a mortgage company. We hired the band The Breakfast Klub for our Corporate party this year. It was 80's themed and they were absolutely PERFECT. They rocked the house and we couldn't say enough good things about them! They were the talk of the night. They had all the hits and even did some requests from our audience. The Dance Doctors were absolutely incredible! The music was flawless and perfect for each moment of the day - charming and easy going at dinner and then an absolute party to light up the dance floor. We booked The Shuffle Band through Utah Live Bands and when I tell you this band rocked..... OMG!!!! THEY ROCKED!!! The Shuffle Band is a 6 person band and perform covers of 70s/80s/90s/00s rock songs. After talking to them I trusted that I didn't need to micromanage them at all - I didn't provide a song list (I only had a few artists/songs I didn't want played) and they were able to read the crowd and play EXACTLY what everyone wanted to hear!!! The singers sound EXACTLY (if not BETTER) than the original artists . The guitarists and drummer are INSANLEY talented and TOTALLY CRUSHED their solos. Our wedding is going down in history because of this band! We got a million compliments from every guest on the music they played and how amazing they sounded! The band interacted with the crowd, coming down off the stage to sing / play on the dancefloor with us. My husband and I don't really like dancing but YOU COULD NOT PULL US OFF THAT DANCEFLOOR - THE SHUFFLE WAS THAT GOOD!!! HIRE THEM RIGHT NOW!!!!

My wife and I finally got married in Mexico on March 12, 2022 after having to move dates twice due to COVID. We chose Utah Live Band's Groove Merchants back in 2020 after scouring the US for the best 16-piece jazz band. Even though we are not located in the same state and we experienced a couple of wedding date changes, Steve & Michael Tobian (the band's managers) were easy to work with and accommodating to our circumstances. Finally, the long awaited wedding day came and the Groove Merchants Band was the hit of the evening!! The band played soft dinner music while guests ate dinner then moved into an energetic and fun vibe for the dancing portion of the evening that kept our guests dancing all night! The band's coordinated dance moves, the high-energy performance, and the big smiles of the band members left us overjoyed with our decision to go with this band. Our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. We will undoubtedly book them again for another event in the future. Do not hesitate to book this band- you will not be disappointed!

The Salamanders were very literally the life and highlight of the party. Most of our guests don't drink, so it's unusual for a dance floor to be full with this crowd, but we actually had a problem getting people OFF the dance floor! We ended up throwing out more than half of the dessert we ordered because people said they were too busy dancing to go eat. Their music choices were awesome crowd pleasers and they put on a great show with the lighting and dancing. Multiple guests contacted us afterwards asking for their information for their own upcoming events. The band leader was great to work with and followed our timeline exactly. They were all professional, appropriately dressed, and even coordinated secretly with my mom to personalize the lyrics of a song that she and her friends did a surprise dance to. I can guarantee we will be calling back when my siblings are engaged!!

We hired High Society through Utah Live Bands for our daughter’s wedding and it was wonderful! They played several sets and each was perfect for what was scheduled for the wedding reception. Chill music for the dinner and mingling. Upbeat for the dancing. The vocals were amazing and the band energy was infectious! Each band member went above and beyond to make the wedding memorable for everyone there. Our guests had an awesome time and we had so many compliments regarding the band. We will definitely be hiring High Society again, perfect for any event we have!

If you intend to spend money on entertainment in Utah, or if you are looking to tap into Utah's uniquely talented, world class talent pool, do not sign anything until you talk to these people. They are, and have access to, the very best.

As a wedding and event planner, I see a lot of different event entertainment. And the Salamanders are TOP NOTCH. They're professional and FUN--at our last event, they played 3.5 hours STRAIGHT without a break. Impressive! The dance floor was PACKED all night long. These guys are great, as are all of the bands that we trust Utah Live Bands to book on our behalf. Highly recommend.

We hired a band for my daughter's wedding from Utah Live Bands without actually seeing anything other than "demos" on the website. These people were amazing. They kept the energy up for the entire evening and had everyone commenting about how good they were. I have advised some of my friends whose daughters are getting married that they should not sweat the small details of the wedding. Just get a great band (Utah Live Bands) and forget worrying about the minutiae. A great band will make the evening! Michael and crew were a delight to work with and the band arrived on time and ready to play.

My wife and I hired the Roadside Ramblers for wedding. Our theme was a 20s wedding and the band is known for it's Dixieland boardwalk jazz style which fit perfectly with our theme. These guys were absolutely incredible. My wedding is a thousand times more memorable and definitely more fun thanks to the band. They even read the crowd really well. When people wanted to dance they turned the pace up a notch but when people were eating or mingling then they'd play more background style music. If you're thinking of throwing a 20s party with a large crowd, hire the Roadside Ramblers. Your party will be a blast and it'll be worth every penny.

Almost 2 weeks later and our wedding guests are STILL raving about the entertainment! Through Utah Live Bands, we were able to hire a DJ, Zoom Live-streaming services and The Roadside Ramblers. From start to finish Mike Tobian (Utah Live Bands Owner & Roadside Ramblers musician) was so accommodating, patient, and kind. Although we had maybe the best wedding planner in the world, planning a destination microwedding during a pandemic presents many challenges and a lot of sleepless nights. Every step of the way, Mike made things easy for us. Livestreaming services: a destination microwedding meant a lot of love ones were not going to be able to attend so making sure they were able to at least watch the ceremony was so important to us. Our virtual guests have complimented not only the quality of the video and audio, but also the ease of logging in (have you tried to have your grandparents log on to a live-stream lately?). They were able to watch us walk down the aisle and exchange vows. While I know that not everyone would necessarily care about this, I did want to note that we had video as well and there was absolutely no interference. In fact, walking down the aisle, I didn't even notice the camera set up until they were taking it down after. DJ: DJ Keith was fantastic! He did the music for the ceremony, music during dinner, and was the MC for the event. His selection was fantastic and he fully respected our do/do not play lists. When it felt like our first dance was getting a little long and I was getting a little awkward, he even cut the music smoothly so we could be done. This sounds silly but wait until its you! Having a DJ/MC that just gets it and can read the room the way he does is SO important. Hire him, you'll thank me later!! The Roadside Ramblers: I cannot say enough good things about them! We used them for both cocktail hour and after dinner. Being a microwedding in a pandemic, we knew our wedding wasn't going to look the same as ones we'd been to in the past. With no dance floor allowed and a guest list of just 22 including us, we were super nervous about our guests being bored or the event being awkward. Instead, it was absolutely amazing! The Roadside Ramblers performed a one hour jazz set during our cocktail hour and then following our sit down 5-course dinner with wine pairing, they took the stage again and helped us transform our wedding from a nice dinner to a jazz/swing lounge. The set list was incredible - think authentic New Orleans swing, highly entertaining and engaging! Let me tell you, no one was bored!! In fact, both sets were so good and so specialized, that everyone thought it was 2 different bands! I'll save you the time on this one too, just hire them - I am SO happy we did!!

World class performance for a great price! We had a quartet (keys, standing base, drums, vocalist) at our formal awards banquet last week. They arrived on time with their own equipment, played well known songs in a classy lounge style, and they were able to pack up quickly so that we could present our awards. They abided by our formal dress code and even took requests! This band really set the tone of our banquet, and got great reviews from the audience. Our banquet wouldn't have been the same without them. I would definitely recommend this crew to someone who is looking for a versatile team of musicians. They played beautifully together and, from some of the videos I've seen, can get quite lively! We will for sure be booking them again. Thank you!

We had The Salamanders play at our daughter's wedding and it was OVER THE TOP!! Working with the band could not have been more seamless. My daughter and I worked out a "special" father-daughter dance and they customized an arrangement for us and it worked out awesome. We were able to provide a dance song list and more importantly a "Do Not Play" list AND they learned some new current songs for us as well. They never took a break and literally no one left the dance floor all night!!!!!!!!! They were able to provide classical guitar work for the ceremony, light music by a trio at the cocktail reception right after the ceremony and then the relentless PARTY music at the reception. There was not a single attendee that has not commented it was the best wedding reception party they have ever been to. Thank you Salamanders for everything, it would not have been the same without you, if I EVER need a band for anything you are my first call. GREAT JOB!!

This review is for a "Double Barrel" super Wedding weekend experience we had recently in Park City, Utah with "Drive" (for our rehearsal dinner) which was full of energy and just FANTASTIC at getting our guests ( which ranged from 8 - 80 years old) up to dance and "line dance" all night! The following evening at the Wedding we were entertained by "Metro Music Club" and they kept the dance floor full from start to finish! We would highly recommend both bands to anyone looking to have a great event!

Dear Salamanders (one of the groups that Utah Live Bands reps), Thank you. Thank you for helping us throw the best party of the summer and the best party of our lives. When Tyler and I started to create the vision for our wedding, one of the pieces we were especially adamant about was that we have a great cover band. A group that could help capture the attention and energy of every generation at the wedding - and with nearly 400 guests, we had about every possible generation represented. We wanted people on the dance floor the entire time. We wanted to answer the question 'How are we going to shut this party down?" and not 'How are we going get people out on the dance floor?". You guys delivered all of that and then some. You delivered the groom and father of the bride their first time crowd surfing. You allowed a close family friend to jump in on the drums. The Salamanders added the magic to our wedding and got every single person out on the dance floor. The Rupert, Idaho 4th of July Celebration kicked off our 2017 event by having the the Salamanders Band for our opening night concert in the park series. This is the second time we have had this band and we think that the Salamanders should be billed as the number #1 performance band in the Intermountain region! Two and a half hour concert in the park with an amazing selection of songs, unbelievable high energy vocals, surrounded by a band that is absolutely amazing.
