Surdeep and Amit Kulkarni
Came here for a tournament for the kids. The place is huge. It has some good facilities, including on site food stalls. The food was decent, not the best. The conference area itself was huge enough to hold multiple tournaments at the same time.
Susie Savage
I love the venue! There was a variety of rooms to fit the needs. The flexibility and adaptability to change when the con needed it was wonderful! So excited to come back next year !
Chris Hartung
First time venturing to this place, not as a customer, but as a vendor during the expo hunt tradeshow! This place is huge!
Parking was pretty straightforward but had to show up early to get guaranteed parking in the parking garage. Even then, I was at the very bottom parking level and got one of the very last parking spots left.
During the tradeshow, they did not have enough food choices, ate pretty much the same food three days straight, and had to get lunch before the lunch rush to get guaranteed food as one of the (two) choices of food vendors ran out of food the day before.
Normally what I hate about tradeshows (and huge crowds like this) - is they tend to not clean the bathrooms well because of so much foot traffic - but this place kept their bathrooms clean and it was quite a nice change!

We visited for a volleyball tournament! Salt Lake City Showdown! Plenty of parking around, some charge daily or by the hour. Not too much walking from the entrance. Very pleased with how clean the facility was! No mask requirements at the time!
Steve Yatomi
Salt Palace is a great place to attend conventions. Here at the Western Hunting Conservation Expo. People gathered from around the world for hunting and fishing. A show that promotes and preserve sustainability in the wilderness. A nice experience to come and visit.
Maxwell Krem
Pretty nice convention center. Have attended two meetings here now. I like 1) the manageable size, 2) how several hotels are close to it, and 3) proximity to the light rail link to the airport.
Meeting rooms or what you would expect, but the restrooms are nice, especially how they are designed with a hand dryer at the sink.
Carter Scholes (Catastrophe)
Great place for Comic Con and Dragonsteel 2022. We met a lot of great people and had a lot of fun. Defiantly worth it. The parking is a bit odd, make sure you don’t get towed!
Jaymii Bonadurer
I really love this building. I come here every year for Comic con and it's a perfect size. The layout isn't too confusing, and the rooms are good sized. They have escalators to each floor and lots of gall space and outlets.
Jo Jo Kettler
Absolutely love how clean, beautiful, the layout of the facility ❤️ very enjoyable 😉 attended the young living convention. …
Randi BARTLEY
FitCon was amazing!!! Got to meet some of our favorite celebrities, who were by the way Sooooooo nice!! We had such a good time! Thank you for putting on and hosting such a killer convention!
Envious Gaming
Salt Lake comic con is super fun and enjoyable!!
But the Salt palace is in a great place and is huge with lots of things to do if there is a convention there. Its also right around the corner of multiple restaurants and cheap parking.
A Sabbagh
I was here for an event and I was surprised of how huge this place was! I would say it was very organized, clean and the staff were very professional.
Crystal Balderaz
Very spacious. Went to Fanx love how restrooms are almost around every corner. One thing is i wished you had was stroller to rent as well as the scooter you have.
Djinni Yancey
It is a nice convention center for most people. It would be a nightmare for people who use a wheelchair because the many partial levels with stairs and confusing ways to navigate and slow hidden elevators. Mapped out like it was planned one section at a time. Total puzzle. Beautiful building with little logic for all access.
Joshua Parsons
Great space for conventions. The escalators were broken and it's hard to walk end to end, but overall spacious and plenty of bathrooms and drink fountains.
R S
Great experience attending our company's Global convention event. Venue is clean and centrally located and easy access to hotels, public transportation and restaurants, pubs, etc. Ample underground paid parking.
Bobby See
I work as a Glazier and this Hyatt regency hotel is beautiful here are some photos from the top
Brynne Adamson
Big and busy. Finding parking wasn’t too difficult with City Creek nearby. Was here for Fan X
Hannah Taylor
It’s a decent convention center. A little rough around the edges and could be kept a little nicer. There was random duck tape on the floor, chipped stairs and lights out. The lights were also pretty dim for certain expos that emphasize details. The setup was very relaxed, but could have been nicer from a vendor perspective.
Trent Jarman
Great venue. The outdoor sports show is cra,y not to come back! Hit Fan X 9/24 and seemed busier, and a lot more people in cosplay. Good time and got 5 miles of walking in.
N Brown
The convention center received a MAJOR renovation a few years ago, and I am pleased to report that they are still taking good care of the place! I give it 4-stars because the parking situation for the center is a mess. The doors for various areas are very very very far apart and trying to get a spot to park, and move your things in is a big pain. However, it is you standard concrete floor, big echo space of a building, but a little nicer in the restrooms, carpeted areas, and over a nice addition to downtown salt lake.
Brent B
Nice convention center. You can tell they take good care of it as evidenced by the constant flurry of activity by staff. There is a nice hotel directly connected to it. I loved seeing the large solar array on the roof and their strong recycling efforts.
Joseph Carrier
I was at FanX read my other review. This building is large and spacious so it's perfect for big conventions and events. I also know a few people who work for the Union who usually help set up for these events and break them down when it's over. Good times.
Audrey Hart
Huge venue for anything. Ground floor has 2 huge open spaces and then there's a grand ballroom and several other meeting rooms of various sizes. There's concession stands, plenty bathrooms (if you know where to look) and even a gender neutral bathroom on the 3rd?) 2nd and a half? Floor.
Liong Mah
First time in Salt Lake City. And at Salt Palace Convention center. Nice big hall/facility for a tradeshow. They do need to replace the carpets. They seal each fray end with duck tape. Not a good look. They have potential.
Allen Stephenson
Beautiful facility! Would love to visit again. Easy to access, close to hotels, shopping, and food.
Hayden Hunter
Best western show ever!! My family had a great time.
Tim Jackson
Nice big facility, but the layout and signage are confusing. We stayed at the Radisson next door, and walked a long way to get to the main entrance, with even a longer walk back. Finally on day 2 someone showed us a short cut through the building. Some signs showing you the way to adjacent hotels would be nice. Catering was sub-par; carved pork that was 60% fat and a slider with about 1/2 ounce of meat. Chicken wings were dry and tasteless. $4 Coke machine that charge extra for credit cards!
Valerie H
The whole convention center is well laid out and very warm on the inside. Even when they had the doors open in the front, the 32⁰ weather outside never made it past the front door in terms of draft. Very clean, very professional.
S Hall
Fantastic experience at Dragonsteel 2022! Everything was super smooth and easy to locate. Clean building interior, with location right next to public transportation. They picked the right place for the convention!
Kelly Bartlett
It was a great location and organized for the SFMA conference held there this year. The morning breakfast was nice and all of the conference rooms and seating were done really well.
Sharon Drusedum
Brand new hotel... Thermostat in my room was tricky. At 74° the heater came on. At 73°the A/C came on. Room was cold as there was at least a 15 ft window in the room (even w drapes pulled shut. Floor was cold as there was no carpet. Very little storage space if you're staying an extended time. Bathroom very cold as there was a very large, tall window right by toilet. There were 6 elevators that went to top, 25th floor, and one day only 2 of them were operating. .I was at a Rotary event w approx 700 other attendeees + hotel guests so waiting on elevators was quite a challenge. Hotel offers a Market w assortment of quick foods and drinks and stays open until 11p. The bar and and hotel restaurant are very nice and great to meet friends.
michelle m
Big and clean! Came here for a tournament and was very impressed. My only suggestion is to set the chairs away from the edge of the court so the players have room to play.
SAHN OUTDOORS
Had a great time at the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo. They could use more bathrooms/toilets, and food options. Nice place for events!
Bassel Elnaggar
Huge. Clean . Secured and water fountains everywhere
Easy entrance
Escalators and elevators to make it easy to move inside between floors and different level entrances
Andrew Cates
Came here for the SPI conference. Very large facility that can handle a tremendous amount of people and exhibitors. Seemed nice overall with good quality facilities, bathrooms, etc. Lots of restaurants and lodging nearby and easy access for walking out ride share. The hotels did get filled up quickly with the 20-30k people attending our event. Maybe 15 minutes from SLC airport.
Julie Hanneman
Wow, this place is immense! I was so impressed with the cleanliness. Literally every bathroom. Was so clean even with 30k+ people there every day. It's well kept and every room felt like they were ready for us. I really enjoyed my time here. Their staff was also super friendly and really took a lot of pride in welcoming us into their facility.
Brent H.
We went for the Young Living convention and had a blast. Salt Palace Convention Center was just amazing. Plenty of parking in and around the convention center. About $12 average for daily parking. You can also use The Trax system to get there. They have a stop right outside.
Also plenty of places to get food and drink within close walking distance. I personally recommend Blue Lemon for just food. But if you want a pint with your meal, try Red Rock Brewing.
Just remember to wear comfortable shoes when going to the convention center. It's really large, and if the whole building is being used for an event, it will require some walking.
Andrew Marriott
On a visit to Salt Lake City we had a tremendous meal in the John Smith Building. It really was first rate and a beautiful setting looking down on Salt Lake City. We were very lucky to hear the Mormon Tabinacal Choir on a practice night.
Daris Kody Killian
I was pleased with many things including how quickly the lines for food were moving. I was grateful as well for clean restrooms.
Burgandy Balderrama
This place is huge. The parking gets complicated there's really not a whole lot of directions how to find parking there and when you do find it usually have to walk away. When you're inside the convention it's easy to get lost thinking as they're assigned spunkiness to the direction that we needed to go but it looks like it was set up by the people that Expo that we went to not so much the convention center. The restrooms are nice and clean in all the areas that we went to I wish it was easier to navigate through the building though. And as for parking I wish they would have more signs showing you which direction you need to go. Overall though it's a very nice building easy access to get into the building and very large areas to run big Expo.
Ana Chavarria
Beautiful space to have our company's conferences. There are different transportation around to get in. Electric stairs, carpet floors, big spaces and beautiful decoration
Mills Corales
Everyone was so helpful, being a handycap person any help is super appreciated. The place is huge but well kept. Bathrooms were cleaned, and the staff was very conscious about covid regulations. I can't wait for construction to end and see how it turns out.
Krista Sweet
Very nice place for conventions. The structure, architecture, and art are very beautiful. I only gave this three stars, because I felt that the place was entirely way too large. I'm not a person who walks very well, and a trek from side to side and front to back, seemed a bit much. Other than that it is a great place to visit.
Cherie Clark
This is a great place to hold any size event that you're having I love All the renovations and works that they're doing on the place
Brandon Kelly
Great venue for meetings and events. Specialty food and catering was top notch along with great service from the staff.
Close to downtown and trax
Damon Tighe
Well run convention center for conferences. I was here as a presenter for the National Science Teacher Association Conference in October 2019. Staff kept convention center spotless and setup and breakdown was really well managed.
Suzan Moody
Went to A More Powerful U conference at the Salt Palace. The speakers were incredible. The facility was safe, clean, well maintained and easy to get around. The staff friendly. What a great place to hold a convention or conference.
Darin Henecke
I had a great time with my family attending the 2017 SLC Comic Con. Friendly people even with a huge crowd. No pushing, shoving, or bumping. We had a safe and enjoyable time.
Steven Smith
It was a wonderful place to have Thanksgiving dinner for people who can't afford Thanksgiving dinner and the staff was great and also interesting in a funny kind of way.
Martha Garcia
The first floor bathrooms have been updated they are beautiful, plentiful, and clean. The carpet needs to be redone, it was being held by tape in some areas. Beautiful murals all around. Very clean.
bruce provost
It was a great Con again. Only one complaint. WHY DID THEY PULL THE BLEACHERS IN THE MIDDLE ON SATURDAY??? For those that have a medical condition, they SAVED THE DAY. NOT having them ruined it and the ability to watched and interact with others as they rested. NOT A GOOD THING. HEARD A BUNCH OF COMPLAINTS!!!! Otherwise, Good Job!!!!!
Donald Ranta
A great venue for the conference I attended. Convenient downtown location, close to numerous restaurants and other attractions.
Marilyn Martin
Huge place! Although there was 3000+ people in our group, the building seemed to swallow them up. Never too crowded. Nicely built. Beautiful place.
Michelle L
I was here for a work convention. The building was so hot when it was 100 degrees outside. Everything is expensive. I spent $4.10 in the vending machine for a bottle of coke. I will be back for doterra and really hoping they use the AC and don’t leave it at 75 like the other day. So hot and I had to be there all day.
Kirsten Sidwell
Went to the hunting expo. Was amazing 10/10. Also JP Display is incredible.
Kim Sundquist
Excellent staff that are willing to help you out. Had one nice lady spend a few minutes explaining the nearby restaurants, mapped it out for me, and even added in her personal reviews.
Overall, awesome experience.
Pam Norris
Parking wasn't great an was pricey but the venue was clean, spacey and a variety of vendors. Bathrooms clean and friendly staff.
Brittany Manning
It's a nice place for conferences and located conveniently near the City Creek Mall so it's easy to access food and shopping. But it's large enough that it's easy to get lost inside if there aren't clear signs for your conference. I've been there a couple times and been easily lost both times. There is parking under ground, but I believe it does cost. They handle large conferences well and have a good sound system in their presentation hall. They do well keeping the bathroom clean during the busy conferences.
Jenna Carlock
Great venue for large events. 7th year attending Doterra convention. Construction of new hotel added more chaos this years but still a great venue.
Elise Sosa
Beautiful convention center centrally located downtown Salt Lake City. Conveniently located between several hotels, restaurants and shopping, all within walking distance! A rental car isn't necessary unless you plan to see other sites outside of The vicinity. The staff at the convention center was always very helpful, and the general areas were kept clean. The catered meal was actually really good, served hot, and the staff was prompt and courteous. Our group was one of 2 or 3 groups in attendance at the same time, and never did we have overlap or run into the other groups. Really nicely laid out event center, plenty of restrooms and escalators. I highly recommend this location for events. The only thing I can not comment on is the pricing if you are an event planner or the organizer of an event.
Crystal
Great large venue BUT the air quality is dusty... Also the women's restrooms need signs to show there's more stalls down the hidden hallway.
Angela Lambert
Could only visit the outside due to pandemic. Great location, plenty of parking. Area is very pretty and beautiful landscaping.
Jacob Yates
I attended door to door con at the salt palace and it was a great venue. Extremely convenient literally only a few yards from my hotel. They had clean restrooms even with tons of traffic through there. Even though the convention was only in one section of the salt palace it was easy to find and get around. I was surprised at what a huge venue the salt palace is. I look forward to future conventions here.
Goodloe Winters
Nice complex with many things going on. the day I went the unity festival had pickleball and roller derby. And the international fencing competition was taking place as well.
Ben Deollos
Amazing place for comicon. Enjoyed every moment of it. Large, spacious parking nearby for a fee. Staff was friendly and helpful when it came to registering our wrist bands.
Victor Gonzalez
Nice beautiful place very big it's one of the best experience I've ever had in for life I learned a lot from it and hopefully I'll come again
Tonytone.anthony
This is a beautiful open spaced convention center. The layout gives lots of options for event holders and many places for event attendees to wonder and explore. The architecture is very modern from the large windows to the stylish pillars just to name a few. I enjoyed my visit to the comic con event and would like to come back for another or perhaps a different even. Park may be an issue. But if you do not mind walking and parking in the surrounding parking garages that's also an option.
Michael Perry
Looking to get out and do something different. The salt palace has something for every walk of life. The staff is great and the events are very well put together if recommend it to anyone
D Raul
Awesome facility to host a huge party with full service kitchen and staff available. Very large building with tons of space available to form and fit your venue.
Josie Morris
It’s a massive convention center with tons of class rooms and rooms to host conferences. Tons of bathrooms around the place that are clean and well kept.
Jacob Stewart
Bathrooms were very clean and the vendors seemed very on top of their game. The ruffled bits of carpet throughout the palace are very dangerous and why I chose to rate 4*
TONYA DAHL
We had the Young Living Convention here. The Convention is massive and wierd to maneuver to classes. It can get exhausting to go from one end to the other. The bathrooms don't see to be adequate for the size of the Convention Center. They really need more bathrooms and make itore accessible to walk to the Vivint. It needs a remodel too.
Alejandro Martinez
I really like this place. It is huge tho. I got lost for a little bit but it was easy to find the way. I also love I found parking quick even if there was a time of people at the convention.
Derek Wetli
What an enormous facility! Seemingly endless configurations and amazingly high ceilings. Clean and upscale feel with all the space and functionality.
Aimee Slesser
I chose to get my Covid vaccine here at the Salt Palace and I'm so glad I did! I've heard about the long wait times at the 2 other large vaccine centers in SL county. The set up at the Salt Palace was extremely efficient! Including the required 15 minute observation post-vaccine, I walked out the doors about 30 minutes after walking in. There was absolutely NO waiting except for after receiving my shot even though there were a lot of other people there for their appointments.
Tatiana Grant
I really like the doTERRA conference set up here. Salt Palace does a great job with accommodations and being kind to their guests. They are great hosts.
Caralee Young
I've been to several conventions here for educators. The ballroom is large and there are plenty of break out rooms. The bathrooms are nice. Parking is difficult and the decor is a bit dated (very fun patterned carpet).
Michael Coffee
Great staff to help College Board AP scoring run as smoothly as possible. Food services and security were generous, kind, and friendly. Wish our chairs could have been more comfy, but I'm not sure what all the convention center was in charge of.
Curtis Graham
A great convention center as far as such places are concerned. I've attended numerous events at this location and never been disappointed. The space is vast and easily accomodates a crowd. Stairs and escalators are well dispersed throughout the facility for ease of switching levels without hiking to one end or the other. Parking is the only true difficulty when visiting and it's a shame they didn't build a parking garage directly below.
Nicole
The facility was big but nothing special or spectacular. The front entrance was clean and the greeters were nice.
The price for food or water was outrageous $4 for a 12oz bottle of water! They needed to do a better job of keeping the bathrooms supplied with tissue & seat covers, and the sink area were always wet!
Jelene Wilkinson
Seemed to be having some leakage in the big hallway/ south entrance area but it didn't seem to dampen spirits during the volleyball tournament my niece played in- maybe some carpeting, but snow traffic would've done the same.
Jessica O'Donnell
Great place, however it's currently under construction so that's made it a little more difficult to get around. Overall still love it.
Marquita Cheary
We always love visiting the Salt Palace Convention Center for our global convention each year. Great space that can accommodate many!
Amy Reilly
Love visiting this venue in such a great city each year for a convention. The convention center is always well kept, clean, staffed, and beautifully decorated to celebrate our event!
Lorin Stout
My friend and I love to go to FanX at the convention center each year. It's a mad house of people, characters, actors and other celebrities in the Fantasy industry. It's awesome!
The panels I attended on Marvel and Lord of the Rings were very well thought out and had some surprising conclusions. The vendor floor was pretty well organized in categories by vendors. Though not so well in the app, since the didn't have ANY descriptions for the vendors. So if you wanted anything specific, it was only found by wandering. Still fun, but frustrating when trying to fit shopping between panels. 😳
Overall I gave it five stars for the great coordination and helpfulness of the convention staff. Great job! Looking forward to next year.
Nathan Wall
Best place in Salt Lake City for conventions. Big open space, and very welcoming.
April Johnson
I've been to many events here. Parking can be hard to figure out and expensive, but the events are good. Grateful for the onsight food options so I don't have to leave the event.
Bridget C
I really like the location of this convention center. It is clean, easy to navigate, and everyone is very friendly that works or volunteers there.
Agron
The Annual Young Living Essential Oil Convention is held here at Salt Palace. This Building is Stunning!
Bruce Boyes
Huge, easy to get lost. Two parking garages enter on 300 West for the smaller exhibit halls 2, 3, etc. Main hall enter on the southeast side. Parking was $12 and you must have voucher for free event parking. Showing event registration won't waive the parking fee. Plenty of in house concessions but expect to pay $3.50 for a $1 muffin. Coffee prices are more reasonable. Usually many events going on at same time.
Pam Ha
We hosted an event here, so much space and the building has such a eye catching design. Our event coordinator Brian was the best. Located downtown Salt Lake City with loads of great food options.
Debra E
Great location for large scale events. doTERRA You Convention was just here and we fit 30,000 + people in there.
Francisca Madrid
Great place for a convention or even a gathering has alot of options for that certain activity you need to do
Valesska Primera
This place is huge and great for what it is: Conventions. It has a great number of great hotels nearby for you choose your stay
mini hawaiian girl
Attendant the USA volleyball conference ages for girls ages 12 -19 yrs 75 courts I think. I've never experienced it before and it was amazing how well organized everything was. My niece from Hawaii daughter came to participate as it was her first time too. So much talent and family support. Sorry no pictures as I simply forgot to take any if I'm able to get some from her I will surely post them. Attended many conference here over the years comic con being one of them. Purchased our tickets on line thur our phones then showed the bar code to the person as we entered along with my ID. That was nice and easy.
craig romero
Always well organized, staffed, and great excellent to make moderately busy downtown thrive with life on a lelarger scale.
Chandra Costley
Great place to go for Fanx it's so much fun every year and a great venue for other events that are there
marshall walker
First time in the salt palace convention center. Needs a bit of updating but pleasant
Seto Kaiba
Had a blast at FanX 2022 (going to be sore) and got to meet Dante Basco. 11/10 would do this again!!!
wes messer
It's a fun place to go and meet lots of like minded people. I do wish they had better online map integration during big convention events. It's really tricky to tell someone where a booth of of if you need to get specific
Michael Vuyk
Hunt expo great time. Buy a Matthew's bow.
lanny outcalt
So much to offer and an amazing, stunning and beautiful atmosphere!!
Penny Anderson
Really nice place but the bathroom stalls are ridiculously small!
Nelson Roman
I have been in this place 5 years straight. A little confusing design, but once you are there you will get it. Its clean and spacious. I will give a 5 stars as soon as the hotel is finished and the service improves. So far it’s a great place, but vending machines and shops are a little out touch and this is 2021. We need to drink and eat without being forced to walk out of it. Employees are great and staff very helpful. I would recommend to anybody needing to do a big show.
Joseph Dawson
It was an awesome convention center lots of space cool architecture and also a bunch of cool stuff to look at on the inside. The convention we went to was awesome. Damsel in defense is awesome. Hope to see this convention center again and another time.
wmcot
WEnt here for both my Covid 19 vaccines. Very fast and efficient. No line at all on either occasion. Went again for the Utah League of Cities and that area was very nice. Clean and a great meeting space.
liang sin
Usually great with lots of people moving around and plenty of entrances of exits, however outside is filled with beggars and street hustlers trying to take your money
Tcee Sabey
Grew up going to the Salt Palace for concerts, games and other events. Now as an adult, I geek out for Coming Con and Fan X here. Love it!!!
Diogo Rodrigues
Nice place for a convention, nice big rooms that hold a lot of people and the sounds travels nicely
Zen Tenkara
Very nice convention center, clean and modern with good meeting rooms and services. The food was also very good for the catered breakfast. Located downton with lots of rest. , bar and hotel options. BEWARE: parking is tough to find. 2hr max on street is nice but limited. Lots of permit parking too. Look for a garage and stick to it.
Renaissance Man Reviews
A fine modern Convention Center with plenty of quality panel rooms and a stylish Ballroom
Tony Ober
This was my second time competing at the Salt Palace for a Master Weightlifting meet. The venue is always clean and well set up, and the atmosphere with all the events at the venue make for a lot of energy and buzz. I just wish that they had more food options inside the venue.
Denice Wilcox
Wish the fabric reps had been there. The quilts were beautiful. Most vendors were helpful, cheerful and bright.
Beancake Beetle
Came here for FanX this year and heard they treated the booth and celebrities well, just had a hard time cleaning up after people
Vee Martinez
They are updating the carpet and I think that the new colors are going to look great!
Charles Walker
Delivered equipment for an event. Glad it was on a Saturday, meaning less traffic. No room for parking, to arrive early. If you have the option, call your contact so they can confirm when they actually want you to come thru gate. Other than that, shouldnt have a problem backing, unless you try next to another truck hooked to trailer in dock. Lot of trailers in the docks for a dedicated service. Those drivers are dropping and hooking.
Tee Hayes
It was cool to be back at the Salt Palace Convention Center this past weekend. The location is gorgeous, as is most of the downtown area. The price to park and to purchase food inside is insanely high. Four dollars for a 20oz drink is a bit excessive, but I guess it's a sign of the times.
Todd Hill
I always love events here. The only drawback is the price of soda and water.
Josh Black
Parking could have been more clear with directions and entrances, seems like they came out if nowhere.
Travis Hoyt
Great place for a convention! Beautiful conference rooms and ballrooms, the convention floor itself is huge. The staff know how to manage large events. Great location.
Silvia Haynes
What a great place to make The best Convention ever and meeting with the most Amazing smelling crowd "Young Living " thank you for make this happen
Joel Meier
Wonderful Convention Center! Great Downtown location, near their fantastic light rail. Probably the best in the USA and I go to 42 conventions yearly
EpicDadof4
Great venue! Great location. Very clean and friendly staff. Lots to do within easy walking distance and right in the middle of downtown. Traffic was very manageable with public transportation an easy option. Was there for MineXchange 2022.
Allen Thomas M
Another historical gem. Elvis actually played in concert here in 1971.
Maricha MartinezSosa
This review is about he art installation outside of the center: I was surprised by how cool was the concept behind this piece was. A series of signs that vary from street warning, to book names or popular phrases were situated in a very specific position and some were partially or completely coloured in red. When you stood right in front of it, on a very specific angle, you got to read a message: YOU ARE HERE.
This spot was located on the sidewalk in front of the "Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center", I later learned that the installation is called “Point of View,” and that it was made by Maine artist Aaron T Stephan following the idea of creating something “designed to become the place to have one’s picture taken in Salt Lake City. Like other cities that have iconic artwork or architecture, this new installation beckons people to sit down and be part of the art”. According to an article posted on the website Visit Lake, this was completed in Summer 2016 and it is made out of "more than 150 standard road signs placed in front of the main entrance of the Salt Palace Convention Center (West Temple at 100 South). Portions of some of the signs serve to create a large, red logo that says “You Are Here.” The logo points to a red bench on the sidewalk."
David Phillips
It was awsume to see so many people ready to get out and spend serious money.
Viraj Rathod
Great place to have a symposium, summit.
Went here for the tech summit 2020, where Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook had come.
Really rich and an enrich experience of knowledge and networking at this venue.
Kelsey Gibby
The Salt Palace employees work very hard to run events and shows. The building is a great size and so close to many things downtown.
Bill Brown
Wow! FanX! Impressive!
FanX staff helpful, however the actual Salt Palace staff seemed surly, and begrudgingly helpful
Stacey Garcia
Had a nice time at Fan X today. Most people were abiding by the mandatory masks, being polite, great day!
Jessica Neumann (Utah's Local Expert)
Enjoyed our time but, the Hunting Show could have been better organized. So crowded
Taylor Quass
A big building with lots of rooms, useful for large events. I went to fanX and, even though there were a lot of people, it wasn't too terribly crowded. They had stalls selling food, toys, clothes, and much more. There was also lots of people showing off well-made costumes from practically every fandom, many of which were more than happy to get their picture taken.
My only two complaints are
1) the bathrooms are all placed on one side of the building
2) finding some rooms takes finesse and understanding of the building. They had Kids Con in 155. However, if you go looking for that room through the halls, they'll point you upstairs and around the corner. The signs then stop pointing out where 155 is when you reach 255 (hint - you go down the stairs/escalator/elevator...not that you'd know to do that from the signs)
Ben Hubert-Comyn
Went for Fan-X with my dad it was great to see all the costumes....
Zoran Djurisic
Great convention center downtown SLC. Easy access from either the airport or freeway. Most of the employees not wearing masks in this day and age. Feels like they don't care. Same as for hotel front desk next door. Visit Utah with care and open mind...

Beautiful event center. Great sound system. I really appreciated that the chairs had full cushion on the seat and back, which helped my poor back.
The air conditioning was set at a temperature that felt uncomfortably cold. The event was for many women and I saw several with jackets and one with a blanket. I left early due to the freezing temperature.

Went up to the Hunt expo 2022. We entered for some of the 200 Big game tags. Then we decided to walk around the exhibition booths. Too see hunting and outdoor gear. Most of it I dream to use, and some I personally have not used but all in all it was a great time.
Nancy Marcum
It was an AWESOME experience!!! It has elevator's and escalators you can take to get to the level you need to get to!! It is able to a coma date a great number of conventions at a time. It was always clean and easy to get to the area you needed to get to
Heidi Heil
Amazing space and great location near nice lodging and the heart of the city, #nfda2018
Mike Hendron
I've attended many events here in recent years, and am always frustrated by the inefficient layout compared to other convention centers around the country. The location is fine, very close to downtown. Parking is ok, with a variety of options including a large open parking lot to the north. But the parking is pricey for this market at $20 for a recent event for example. The biggest issue is the very strange layout of the convention center with long walks and convoluted pathways to find meeting rooms. Not much can be done... Just hope that your event is all in the east portion of the center.
Kari Martin
FanX was exciting and I had a wonderful time being such a fan girl! Thanx.
Tawnya Becker
Has everything and more for the convention being held here except enough women's restrooms.
David Garcia
I had a lot of fun going to this place because I haven't here before and then I enjoyed myself here then!!!
Matt Carlson
It's a great venue. They need to get new carpet.
pizza pizza
Beautiful glass buildings. Huge facility. Be prepared for lots of walking. Food at venue was bland.
scarlett blotter
not a lot of concession choices, but a great convention center for FANX 2021.
Ryan Brown
The staff are always so nice and helpful and convention always goes smooth.
Jackie Blood
It could have been cleaner. The volleyball courts were filthy; some of the towel dispensers didn't work in the bathrooms. The food spots were great! It was well organized.
Phil Keeve
Great convention center close to lots of shops, restaurants, and hotels. It's not the biggest but they make good use of space, and the new attached Hyatt Regency makes it a winner.
Erdem KAYA
I would like it to have an entrance from the back side of the convention since there are many hotels behind it. The restrooms are not enough for this crowded place. The rest is pretty good.
Bullring Films
Great venue, clean floors and bathrooms. Could use more security outside to fend off the homeless criminals.
Anna E.
We went here for FanX last weekend and had a great time! Its not the biggest convention center that I've been in but it was easy to navigate and I appreciate that they hung signs marking the numbers of each row. Made it easier to find various members of our group.
Erin Wilhite (Realtor)
You've got to see these bathrooms... Touchless soap, water, and dryer at each sink! I'll never again be satisfied with less! ☺️
Tiffany Dunn
No maps of the center and needing to use elevators multiple times up and down to get to locations is a pain. It's a confusing building and I've been to dozens of conference and convention centers before. There's also a lot of hallways that were freezing. It's almost like they didn't keep the heat on in pays of the building.
Mason Emerson
This is not the only time I visit the Salt Palace. I've been here for work conventions, for trainings, and for the Fanx event. Its main ballroom is well situated and the events people who work here are able to provide almost any setup necessary. The only downside that I can say about the main events room, is that the chairs probably need to be redone soon, it feels like sitting on pieces of foam set on top of concrete. You do need to stand up and stretch your bottom once in a while. Otherwise the flexibility and the ability to set up different sizes of rooms, allow for multiple events and any event to be held here when they set up the vendor room, it sprawls over multiple large rooms and is a great place to wonder through during the FanX event and it is a fabulous place to hold other events like gun shows. It's a good place to hold your event if you have the money, but ask them to fix the cushions.
Stan Sewell
The facilities are fine with the exception of restrooms. There are not sufficient restrooms for a large group.
Erica Carter-Folk
I always love Salt Palace for convention. I went for a convention for my favorite shopping club. Wheelchair accessible, nice food options.
Michael Cattanach
A massive space for creative events. We attended a conference here in February. It was a convenient location.
Andrea Porter
Very nice convention center and plenty of places to walk to for eating. There's a lot of construction right now, so it was noisy and hard to have conversations just outside the center. If you are staying in a hotel nearby it's noisy all night too, so if you like quieter atmosphere I'd choose a hotel further away.
RYAN LEE
AFA 22, AF 75th Birthday! So amazing to be there.

I know I’m posting late but it was fun time
Great to have convention center in salt lake
Carin Whitaker
Gorgeous flowers..did not visit the Visitors Center
Joshua Parrott
Great place for any convention. Very clean. Top notch.
Danielle “Dani” Olsen
Fabulous place to host an event!! So much time, effort, & work is put into putting everything together behind the scenes that I doubt anyone even realizes...
I never knew, but I am now employed by a company that works within the Salt Palace, so now I'm just a part of the team!!
Peggy Webb
Great large space for events in downtown slc
Michael Malmgren
Easy parking and access. Smooth entry process
Jikza Nolan
In the center of downtown Salt Lake with access to a ton of restaurants, the convention center is big. Parking could get tricky but you always have the train as option.
Dave Baker
Average convention center. Looks like they are trying to update but could use some tlc for sure. Basic facility no spectacular amenities seating and common space not exceptionally comfortable
Alexa Allen
Where do I even begin. The salt palace is such a great place for events. Their management is kind and hardworking. You can tell their care about their clients and in helping them have the best experience possible, even under crazy circumstances. They are clean and organized and always take the necessary precautions. I love going to events here and they never disappoint.
Kent Ward
We were there for a Utah Symphony concert. The concert was great. It was the one with the circus type performers doing acrobatics accompanied by the symphony.
Darius Wynn
ALL-STAR game ready.
Jaxon Nix
Went here for Fanx! It was very clean well put together!
Ally Hunter
I’ve been to the salt Palace for many different things throughout my life. I’ve had dance conventions here, work conventions here, and even concerts here. It’s really spacious and the staff is really friendly to help you find where you need to go. It’s a little bit difficult to navigate yourself around because it is so large but the staff is really helpful. I would also recommend they work on the parking issue because if you have a big event like silicon slopes, there’s hardly any parking and I had to park 3 miles away from the convention center. That made for a lot of walking both to and from the convention center.
Latha Steinbronn
Our convention in Salt Lake was wonderful!
All of our main events were right there. The area around the center was very comfortable. No worries about where we were safety wise. The inside of the center was meticulously clean and neat. Very professional and comfortable at the same time. It was also beautiful. I have amazing photos of my time there because of the care taken to make this the go to place for many companies to have their events at!
Shannon Taylor
Nice place, but parking is too expensive.
Nathan Corry
I have been to a couple of conferences here and the accommodations have been exceptional. This is probably the best convention center I have been to. You can tell staff members are well trained and know what they are doing. They are attentive to the details of the conference. It has always been clean and well kept. The outside looks a bit old, but once you get inside it is very modern. They also utilize the newest technology. Nothing appears out dated.
Lord Ford
A very well designed location and is a lot of fun.
Michael Miller
It was okay. $95 to use the wall plugin? Ooof
Patryk G
It's easy to get lost here. The building is massive with seemingly endless rooms for events and attractions! Pre-covid there were a few conventions that I'd visited in various areas and they were all clean, maintained and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Post-covid I got my vaxx here and again the staff was great, and everything was clean and sanitized!
I'd recommend any convention or event going on here be one you visit. It's a great place to visit!
Corona Ngatuvai
Can't wait to see the renovations when it is done. It is still a great location for conferences and events. Even better when the new additions are in place.
Christian Lenhart
I came here for the covid vaccine. The place is super well organized. Lots of staff keep the crowd moving, and colored lines on the ground make sure you don't get lost. Get vaccinated! It's super easy!
Eva Meadows
Super clean. Big restrooms. Helpful & friendly staff. Has a coffee bar, escalators, elevators, and gift shop.
Mike Moore
Set my appointment to get the vaccine here. I'm really glad I did. Free parking for vaccine, and they made everything super easy. It wasn't busy at all, the whole process took about 25 minutes. That includes the 15 minute wait afterwards. Seriously thanks guys for your service.
Jeremy Adamson
They have some awesome events! The new location is really clean and modern. The screen in the grand ballroom is way cool!
Kristie Nadzom
This convention center is huge but really like the layout. Its clean and in a great city.
Corby B.
Beautiful building. The Grand Ballroom is spectacular very large. Wonderful rooms to have lectures in. Building is clean and well-maintained. Bathroom was Super clean. The building Has great colors and is well lit. All places are well-marked. Love coming here for convention stuff.
Memo Velazquez
My kids & I had fun here and places to take pictures. The city is very attractive :)
Liam Theo Creative
Pretty cool convention center. The bathrooms were pretty well maintained. My only complaint is the carpeting is coming up in a lot of places and almost caused tons of trips and falls.
Aidan M
Wonderful convention center. Helped pack lunches for 1M utah kids in need at silicon slopes event. Great speeches, thanks again Clint I appreciate you helping me attend this wonderful event.
Ruth Myles
Attended a conference here for 4 days. We had a hotel within walking distance. The chairs were fairly uncomfortable and ot can be difficult to get lunch in an hour.
Josh Hutchings
Nice enough space. Not a ton of casual seating. Water pressure was awful throughout entire building. Their carpet needs attention, as well. Funnily enough, the whole place smelled of bleach... Maybe a septic issue.
Sheri Mueller
A vast, extremely useful convention center. The bathrooms are decent, and there are many, the escalators work great, beautiful conference rooms of many sizes- awesome food court area.
Ashley Ash
Went to the jazz game they played and beat the kings, Need I say more!!! Of course it was great here it always is. Stop reading my review and go buy tickets for something here and see for yourself, entertainment, good food, drinks, beer, everything you need for a fun night out🤓 …
Deb Landers
Loved the security guys. Clean, easy to get around. Our convention fit it nicely
Micah Brown
Really cool venue. Just massive. It felt a little bit like an airport terminal in places. Was there for qualtrics X4 event
Robert Burrows
Great 2019 Solar Power International conference in Salt Lake City.
Stephanie Bazan
Great Convention center. We have our event here every single year and they seem to be able to handle large crowds. One thing I would ask for them to do is increase their contracts with the food. The food vendors are typically not very good. I recommend bringing your own lunch if you’re attending an event there.
Colton Leatherow
Nice venue. If you attend an event here plan for paying a lot for parking. Paid $20 for parking. No street park was available.
Katie Page
Attended a conference at this convention center. The area was decorated beautifully, lots of time & effort went into making sure everything was just right. This convention center has the capability to hold more than 30,000 people in it and sit that many comfortably in each of the Halls. One night we had a Gala event that the convention center served a dinner for this event. We had steak, salmon, asparagus and rice. Every aspect of the dinner was catered beautifully and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend attending this convention center for events in the future.
Jeremiah Alexander
Very cool venue! It's very large but has many restrooms & lots of conference rooms. I recently attended a trade show here and was pleasently surprised. There was some Construction going on in 1 area, but it didn't affect us too much. There's also many restaurants located in walking distance to grab lunch or dinner.
Randy Tate
How awesome this was. I've never seen hand dryer's on a wash Basin before. How ingenious, it's more personal, the water from my hands goes down the drain and not all over the floor and/or wall. Beautiful carpet too!
Camille
I have come for several conventions. Great rooms. Very clean, spacious bathrooms. My complaint is the walking, and not quite knowing where to park each time. And then to eat you have to walk outside quite a ways. If they had a quick eat restaurant in there it would be packed!! That's what they need. Or pack a lunch.
Brian Hortin
Overall a great location for a huge event like Silicon Slopes. Parking was convenient and the venue was so well laid out. Bathrooms were limited and way down at one end which was not ideal, but construction made it necessary so I understand.
Jennie Post
Great place for meetings and events! Located within steps of the Marriott hotel.
Samantha Fare
Bathrooms under construction next to the mail convention hall. Very inconvenient. But they had fairly nice portable bathroom trailers available. Or walk all the way to the other end for a real bathroom. I thought they'd have better choices for food available. The food was ridiculously overpriced, like being at a stadium. A fairly nice center though.
Deaf Emily
Huge place. However, female restrooms are poorly situated, far away, and sparse. In fact they had to convert a male restroom into a temporary female bathroom.
Ivy “Jehovah Witnesses” Rogers
the man was so kind and answered questions and he didn't know re: a place to get water and shealter in winter...he knew about summer get air condition with help, I didn't ask him about the vacines or covid testing cause I saw car after car receving people to help...
sincerely ivy may rogers
Marci Memmott
Supet great convention center. Ample restrooms that were always clean. Easy access for escalator, elevator or stairs. A couple little coffee stands. Vending machines are $4.00 for a soda, so i chose to walkabout & get a coffee. They do have refill stations for water bottles.
Scott Thomas
I went here to get vaccinated and they had it set up perfectly. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes, with a 15 minute observation period. There were people directing others as to where to go. Everyone was socially distanced, i felt completely safe the entire time.. Well done, Salt Palace staff!!!!!!
Justin Nielsen
Most recently attended a retail trade show at this facility. The event was set up well and the building is nice for a convention center.
Sid Unrau
This place is absolutely colossal, I believe it covers more than two complete city blocks. That means there is a lot of walking, which is actually good for exercise :-) and the meeting rooms are just wonderful, they're flexible and can expand or contract depending on the need. I have been involved with several exhibitions and trainings at the Salt palace and the stuff in the facilities are absolutely beautiful and easy to use. It can be a little confusing to find the right place cover however when someone is familiar with the general layout to it is very easy.
Katie Hunsaker
I went here to get my second covid vaccine. While it was a good and quick experience I would much rather be going here for Salt Lake Comic Con, just saying.
chris lloyd
Can't go wrong with this place. Cocktails and apps were perfect. Really busy place, not the best if you are looking for somewhere quiet to enjoy a cocktail.
Kimberly H
I've been to this convention center for several events. It's always well-maintained and clean. The facility is large, so it can be roped off to the size of the need of the convention. When I attend Salt Lake Cities Comic Convention called FanX, the whole facility is used.
It's conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and parking (if you choose not to use the Convention Center's parking located under the facility).
Brianna Gates
Perfect place for meetings! Lots of space! Very nice, clean, and professional! Bathrooms are great too. Sometimes they had cold water, but it's such a husge building, that's understandable. Great for huge gatherings. Parking places all around the building. Unfortunately you probably have to pay. And if you don't know where your room is, it's such a huge building, you may have to walk all the way across it! It's so huge!
Julie Beard
The carpet throughout the whole place needs to be replaced!! Tripping hazard!!
Richard Nance
The crisp clean air is one of the first things we noticed. Due to the higher elevation, dry skin could be a concern. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the center. The Cheesecake Factory is one of them. Hotel choices are diverse as well. There is underground parking, at the time we visited it was a $10 daily rate, that may not be the case all the time. Call ahead to find out the current rate. Underground parking can be accessed by elevator. You can reserve meeting space for less than 20 people if needed, but expect to walk a long way for some of those. To conserve energy, the restroom sink water may not have heat. This is only bothersome if the ground water still has it's winter chill. Scooters and bicycles use is encouraged by commuters.
Melissa Lloyd
Salt Palace: Beautiful! My daughter had a gymnastics competition in one of the exhibit rooms, and it was a perfect place to have it. There was plenty of space, both for the equipment and competitors, but for the spectators as well. Concessions were available (if quite spendy). The restrooms were in the hall itself (which is rare) and were very clean. The facility has it's own parking, and there was plenty of room, despite other activities going on in the building that day. Parking did cost, but it was reasonable. The building itself is enormous, with numerous room options for both small and large events. There are a number of works of art dotting the property, both inside and out. The main entrance foyer has a set of wooden chimes that strike according to the spinning of a set of windmills stationed alongside the building, and the sound is beautiful and charming. It is an interesting spot to visit, and a perfect venue for many types of events and conventions. Definitely a must see!
SUZIE Q
We hold events here every year. They aren't small either, from 2-30k people. They are great to work with. Thanks SPCC!
Leah Berlin
Excellent location for Comic Con. Needs more wheel chair and stroller access points. This is probably more on Comic Con and how they utilize the space rather than the actual convention center. Plenty of bathrooms. Wonderful elevator access. Beautiful meeting rooms.
Corey Sitkowski
Nice place for a convention
Sylvia Vigil
The atmosphere was very friendly. I went to get my final Pfizer vaccine for Covid.
People are very helpful and willing to direct you to the the correct destination for your visit. It was clean and there were no waiting time or lines.
Ayhan OZTURKOGLU
Nice huge convention center. I wish it didn't a mold smell. When I returned home my wife smelt mold on me and everything in my suitcase.
Abbas Roopawala
It’s a nice center, room numbering convention is kind of unintuitive, complicated.
Jordan O. James
Not bad for a large city convention center. The carpet was your usual mix of crazy color and patterns but everything was clean and taken care of. It was centrally located to a lot of hotels which provided a lot of options when I stayed in the area for a conference.
Don
This place is very cool 😎
If you are in town you need to check it out!! …
Jim Sorokes
Good location for a conference. June 2022 update: They are expanding the facility and have upgraded their audio-visual systems. There is still some construction ongoing but it didn't interfere with our conference.
Barbara Hogeland
RootsTech convention was well attended and swelled to a population of approximately 18000 on Saturday yet the Salt Palace easily accommodated the crowd. Concessions were plenitude & high quality & a bit pricey. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Lavatories were kept clean & well stocked. The spacious meeting rooms in the building felt roomy & comfortable & were easy to locate.
Christina Hall
Very nice facility. Good customer service.
Jenique Kasai
It's a convention center. I've been to a lot of convention centers, and this one is pretty just... Ok. Not much else to say about it. It is a functional building for what it was designed for. But hey, they have been making improvements lately
Julia Harris
Very large and clean facility. I've gone here for Comic Con and for vaccinations as well. Great location with access to lots of areas of downtown.
Patty Headley
We attended the ridge Tech Convention at the Salt Palace Convention Center and we had to park about a block away because their parking lot was already filled by 10 a.m.. but everything else went smooth. There were concession stands they got us checked in right away the room was large enough to hold everyone on the convention itself was very awesome!
Brooke Shurtliff
We had a blast at HealthEquity Casino night!!!!!
Jill Baeder
It was wonderful and extremely organized for those of us getting our Covid-19 vaccine. Over 35 years I've attended Utah Jazz NBA games and many, many concerts - including the Grateful Dead in 1981. Great venue.
Andrew Sanford
I’ve been here once. It’s got a lot of space. The workers are really nice and helpful. If you’re hosting an event, the place is setup to easily facilitate loading/unloading and all other pre- and post/event work.
Trista Montgomery
This place is huge! There is so much space to move around. The staff is very friendly and helpful! It always seemed clean and there were a ton of people here.
Kody G
I love all of the events that come here! They had a tattoo convention that came a few weeks ago and it was a blast! The atmosphere here is one of the best I have felt at a center like this one! I would recommend coming here if you get the chance!
Nathan Christensen
All of the events I have been to at the Salt Palace recently have ran very very smoothly. Ive always had a positive experience when visiting. I recently went down to get my Covid vaccine and was blown away at how well things were organized and ran throughout the Salt Palace.
Nathaniel Winkler
I had a great time here at the transplant games of America event. SLC was a great host and the convention center was a great location to have the events. The space is large with decent lighting, and the convention center is on the tram line so you can get there easily. There is also a free ride zone in downtown allowing you to get around without having to take a cab.
Natalie Kennedy
I've attended several conventions at this location over the years. It's been kept up fairly well but has a somewhat confusing layout. Wear your walking shoes because it’s large and spread out, and a jacket because the temperatures vary quite a bit throughout the building. Definitely could use better signage for restrooms.
R Johnson
Salt Palace is awesome for Fan-X and The Energy Healing Conference!!
Matt Robertson
This place is HUGE! We attended an indoor climbing competition hosted here - the facility was great for that. It was a little bit shocking to realize we were tucked away in one small corner of the Palace, and there was a much, much larger convention being hosted in another part, without it impacting us at all. Well managed, clean, good security.
Clark Knudsen
Great place for large gatherings or conventions. I have been there many times, and never disappointed. This place handles a crowd very well, and is next door to some wonderful hotels. It is a 1 (Salt Lake, so big) block from Temple Square (a well noted tourist attraction), and 1 block the other way to the Vivint Smart Home (formerly Delta Center, where Utah Jazz play). Nice facility with fantastic location.
rusty handlon
Really nice convention center with lots of room options. They don't show a price on their soda machines. I didn't have cash so i used a card. There is a sign saying that there will be a larger hold on your card. I received a $9 charge for a 20oz water. I'm still waiting to see if the amount will be adjusted.
Celeste Roam
I must say this convention center takes on the 35k+ people dōTERRA brings for it's yearly convention and does a fantastic job! They keep it clean and keep restrooms stocked when the line never ends. They have a fantastic AC and I do suggest a sweater if you get chilly 😉 …
Vuong Ha Nam
We had thousands of people in registering for a big event smoothly & nicely with all smiles
Jon Smith
Once the home of the Utah Jazz and the Salt Lake Golden Eagles. These days the Salt Palace is host to the Salt Lake Comic Con. Utah's very own Comic Con.
Dan Fonnesbeck
I attended a professional conference here. Plenty of large rooms available. The room numbers can be a little confusing, especially rooms 255 and 254 (which is why I gave 4 stars). Staff service is great. Food is top notch. Building is enormous! Overall good experience.
Joshua Bergman
I truly do love working at this venue. I've been doing trade shows in the Salt Palace for 18 years, the events here attract a lot of local traffic. The setup of the salt palace really brings in high traffic to each booth, this has resulted in our company having to hire more staff to speak with clients, we've chosen each year to get a larger booth to handle the traffic. This location is superb for the professional community and the novice community. I highly recommend this location for your trade shows or company events.
Dave Julian
Nice venue for large conventions. Lots of places to eat nearby. Obscene prices for bottled soda.
Damon Bravo
I go here often for cheerleading tournaments. My only knock is it cost $12 to park and there really is no place nearby other then the street. It’s a huge venue and I like it. Not many food and snack options inside. They need to add some seating inside the place. It’s kept very clean and lots of events go on inside here. Overall happy despite $12 a day
Luanne Foster
Love attending the doTERRA convention here each year. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can't wait to see the new hotel completed!
Cameron Porcaro (drivec)
Great location, but parking anywhere near there while a convention is going on is difficult and sometimes expensive. Taking TRAX is a good way to offset parking costs. Very spacious building with lots of showfloor space. More work needs to be done to keep the restrooms clean. Coke machines in the building were cash-only for a portion of the day, but completely broken sometime past noon.
Tammie Busch
Lots of complaints about the placement of restrooms. None for persons with disabilities nearer to halls. Could be called for violation of Disability Act.
Otherwise, well maintained.
Anurse H
This is a lovely, clean place with nice, accommodating staff. We attended a fundraiser here and was blown away by the organization and flow of such a huge event. No other event collided with ours.
Parking can be difficult but worth it!
TJ Schmitz
I love the events I attend here, but the facility itself can be... lacking. It'd be nice if they saw to the little things, like cleaning the bathrooms every day. Or if it's too hard to run a mop, maybe just replenish the paper towels and soap? It's always super dusty, dry and the temperature is usually uncomfortable. That being said, the food service is usually great for a facility like this, and they only charge an arm as opposed to the arm and leg most others would charge.
Jason Hall
This place is quite large and can have some great conventions here. Unfortunately I feel like the fact that I attended the tattoo convention in Utah they put everyone in the farthest place from the entrance. It was a pain to find and no signs were posted anywhere. Not sure if the center or the organizers are to blame but improvements can most definitely be made.
Jake Hansen
Lots of space. The place is enormous. It just goes on and on. I would like it if there were more moving sidewalks or other ways to get from place to place more quickly. Since it's so big, if you attend a large conference, you should plan on doing a lot of walking.
Tanner Spencer
I've been here for a few different events and I've just been impressed with the size of the building and how well kept it is! Not all convention centers are as exciting to go to as the Salt Palace. The variation of events held here are great too.
Brenna Bear
Its so nice, clean, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is the best part in my humble opinion! Definitely would attend/host more events there!!
Taylor Richards
Very cool place. Huge, and I mean HUGE expo room and ballrooms. Incredible.
EmceeRad
A big convention center, I had fun. We went to comic con here and loved it, the outside is amazing! The inside is nice and big and even though they sold out the event, there still was enough room it seems. They are opening up more of the place for the next year, and it is great that they are
Vicky Hopper
The convention rooms are really large. The bathrooms sizes are more than adequate. I like how they pipe in the conference in the restrooms so you don't feel like you are missing something when nature calls. It's close to everything in Salt Lake, including parking. The only downside - there are NO eating establishments inside the venue. They sometimes have a cart with a few items available, but they are not always open. I would love to see a food court inside the convention center so conference attendees aren't forced to leave when the weather is nasty to get lunch.
Robert Bolar
This is really nice big facility for trade shows but as far as parking is concerned it's pretty difficult especially if you are in a truck and you're trying to get out the passageway out of the parking garage is extremely narrow. The facility's overall a great they're in very nice condition and the food is exceptionally well for a venue of this size and magnitude.
Kylaas Flanagan
Good facilities, lots of conference rooms of varying sizes, huge main floor, easy to get to, plenty of restrooms and water fountains. Lots of concession areas, prices are extremely high though. (That's how they make money, I get it.) You can easily walk to City Creek if you've got a conference here to grab a quick lunch if you walk at decent clip.
Note that it's easiest to get into the building on the east side (look for the large column across from Nordstrom at City Creek) and south side of the building. Didn't try to get in on the west side, but I'd think it wouldn't be as easy.
Nasa Rouf
Great location, lots of places to have dinner after a long day. Some 3-hour free parking areas nearby which is cool; gets you walking every few hours to move the car which is refreshing when you spend your entire day at the conference seating through talks
Aldo Godinez
I went to the Salt Palace for a concert that was happening so this review is based on that night alone. First and foremost there is 2 parking lots, when those are full they have more lots throughout the blocks for overflow. Depending what room you are heading to the walks to some of them are pretty far. The one we went to was a 10 minute walk. If you are going for a dance wear comfortable shoes.
Ben Helstad
The place is huge, and its easy to get lost. My wife and I had an excellent time here during the Parliament of World Religions conference, and met a lot of really neat people!
We have a service dog too, and there were sufficient facilities for her to use out front, which we appreciated.
Shanda Harris
I was here for the National Fencing Championship that I thoroughly enjoyed. The Convention Center accommodated our every need. If you are looking for a great meeting place, sports event, etc., look no further. This is your place. Restaurants and hotels are in walking distance. You don't really need any transportation. They have scooters for you to ride on if you want to. There are beautiful mountains all around. The Mormon Temple is also in walking distance. This is your place!
Bill Hendricks
Well kept. Lots of space.
Wonder Wendy
Bathrooms were a bit overwhelmed by the event. Takes a little bit to figure out the layout. Relatively modern, clean venue. Not far from public transit
Janusz Jurski
In general a good organization. I ate a lunch in there and it was very good. Some snacks were OK. WiFi was working very well. The staff has been very helpful (there were really many people working...).
The layout if the building makes you to walk long distances to get from one room to another one (when exhibition halls are open, you can make some shortcuts but it is only sometimes).
Cynthia Wolfel
The Young Living convention Freedom 2018 was incredible at the Salt Palace Convention Center. The layout made everything accessible to over 30 to 40 thousand people. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Young Living staff were extremely friendly and helpful, as well. A big thank you goes out to the girl in product pickup that bought us Zinb when we looked exhausted from the farm.
Stephanie Richards
Clean, fun place for any events. I like the salt shake option and funky signs near by.
I bee here for two comic cons and world religious parliament, and it worked greatly for all of those events. There are so many rooms, that you will get lost.
Michelle Draper
Went for a college graduation. Doors opened at 2, then we waited for the seating area to open which was a bummer. Finally we got in. Tickets were free, so don't understand why we even had them. Maybe for a head count purpose?... otherwise, nice staff, and great place.
Lindsay H.
I want to be clear, I LOVE both Salt Lake FanX and Comic Con, I'm just rating the convention center itself. It's good enough, and it's the only place large enough for awesome conventions like FanX. The concession places are really not that good, the bathrooms are so hard to find, and there are only a couple elevator locations by stairs. It makes it tricky to navigate when you have a stroller and little kids!
Marteal Lamb
The LegalShield convention was awesome! The center was nice, in had space for vendors
Nicole Widmer-Tamminen
Great place to have conventions and can be organized in any number of ways. I do wish they allowed other vendors other than their select few to participate, though. The food is rarely inspired and sometimes downright gross.
marsha goldstein
Airy, spacious convention Center, conveniently located across the street from the Marriott Salt Lake City Creek, City Creek Center, restaurants, and the Mormon Tabernacle. A nice feature is the small business center selling supplies. The individual rooms are spacious, well equipped for Audiovisual purposes and speaker formats. I don't know if the catering was onsite, but the food was delicious and met with multiple special dietary needs and service matched. The only complaint was the lack of bathrooms and the icy cold water from the sink. Brrr. Do make sure to see the Center lit up at night.
Melanie Kuse
I've been here for fan x multiple years, a work conference, and just went for my vaccine. Every time it is very efficient and setup well. It is easy to find everything too.
Steven Heinrichs
Was there for work. They provided great service. We had a meal catered by them as well. I've been there on several work occasions, and ate there. Their food is really good. They have a lot of space for conventions or expos. Very versatile.
David Christensen
The food was good. The facility was pretty nice for the most part, though the bathrooms were pretty subpar. In one of the bathrooms I felt like I was in a gas station bathroom. Two of the four faucets were not working. The paper towels were out and the door lock on the bathroom stall was broken.
Dorothy Brinck
We attended Rootstech- the huge genealogy/Family History conference in 2017 and 2018. It is a HUGE convention center! The whole place was very nice, clean- and had a new feel to it, though it is pretty old. Recommend the underground parking.
Ben Moore
I've attended several events at the Salt Palace recently and as far as convention spaces go, it seems to do just fine. The open, main area scales and can handle quite a crowd. The interior is decent, but feels a little sprawling if you have to trek from one end to the other for a panel etc in one of the smaller rooms that ring the main convention space. Being largely unfamiliar with the greater Salt Lake area (for convention space) I'm not sure if there is anything to compare it to, but I wouldn't shy away from another event here in the future.
Brian Baldock
Amazing venue. I attended a huge conference and never had a problem getting around. Very close to all of the immediate tourist places in Salt Lake along with accommodations. Staff were always friendly and available if needing help with anything.
Ray Montgomery
Very nice staff, good convention meeting spaces, good food. But facility is showing age. Bathrooms especially: dimly lit, making stall floors look dingy. Toilets flush immediately upon standing up, so bowls always have used TP in the water when you enter. Or you can manually flush it a 2nd time, wasting water.
Victoria Brinton
Went to the quilt exhibit. They were amazing
boom stick
I went there for Comic-Con and it was awesome
Robert Larson
Very nice place. The FanX convention is amazing. They always do there best to bring in awesome guests. Keeping things exciting for the fans. Sometimes the lines seem long, but that is to be expected.
sierra peace
Went here for Younique convention. Veey big and open love the locations and outside decor!
Paulette Haw
Trade show solar and energy exhibition. So much to see and learn. What an awesome job!
Richard Freeman
I attended a convention here. Downtown Salt Lake is very walkable and the Salt Palace was a nice venue. The building is nice. Rooms were a good size for the convention, almost too big, which is better than too small. The staff was great. I was at a hotel near the airport, but public transportation was very good. I caught Trax to and from the Salt Palace everyday for $6.25 a day. The nearest Green Line stop is a block away at Temple Square. There are a number of good restaurants in the area.
Stanley H.
Very beautiful Convention center. Nice floor plan and numerous size rooms plus a lot of restrooms throughout. Way to go SLC nicely done. Close to local hotels, restaurants and light rail train a block away. That runs to the Airport..
Shannon Moore
Huge! Lots of smaller rooms too for specialized classes or conferences. Large space that can be converted into a meeting/teaching area or dance floor! Attended a doTERRA convention (2018) and it held all those people like a champ. If you plan on having a huge gathering for your company this is a great place. Need more space than what they offer, you could also rent out the VIVIANT center located nearby with stadium-like seating.
Jim
My first trip to the Salt Palace, the administration of shots was very organized and quick. The volunteers did a good job keeping things moving. They were polite and informative.
Luke Atticus Kennard
Big. That's what I think of when I walk in this building. All kinds of rooms for events. I came to silicone slopes. It is an up and coming place. I feel like the construction is on the poorer quality though. Unfinished ceilings in most of the rooms. Concrete floors in others. Wearing paint and dirty windows at the entrance.
Carolin Quist
Plenty of space. I went to pick up my race packet for the Salt Lake City Half Marathon. There were three or more events happening throughout the building and the flow of the building didn't make me feel like I was interrupting or too closely crowded at all. Love the. Comfortable color scheme through out the center.
Shaun Blu
Wonderful staff. A large venue for conventions, select sporting events, etc
Mike Potter
Went here for COVID-19 vaccine twice. Was very convenient using free underground parking for vaccine appointments. Is a lot of walking to get to the vaccine location but I didnt mind got more steps in. There were no long lines as the Salt Lake County Health Department had about 12 nurse stations set up.
Cheryl Westphal
My favorite place to be at doTerra covention!!
Jeff Norris
Huge place when attending Salt Lake Comic Con/FanX . We clocked over 4 miles of indoor walking! Nice and clean place for the most part. I wont't fault the staff when the restrooms need attending with 150,000 people at one event they did a great job all things considered. The paging system is useless when there are many people in the main floor , you can't understand anyone. other than that a great place for convention and huge events.
Jessica Baxter
Love this place! Parking is a bit of a pain so just park across the street at city creek. 2 hours of free parking! Comic Con is so fun at this location. There is a huge exhibit floor and many classrooms.
Danielle Oneida
"The Best in State Awards" held here was amazing, so stay the least. 🎟🏆
The convention center is a beautiful, huge space that makes you feel special and fancy instantly. As quickly as on the streets walking towards the building, the center has showcased an awesome piece of art (currently May 2018) which adds that extra something. Aka fancy.
No matter why or when you may find yourself there, I guarantee you won't regret going, regret how much you paid to go, or regret any other random thing that may be crossing your mind as you read this. No regrets.
It promises to be a nite you will enjoy & remember happily for years to come! (unless, you know, a strong memory isn't really your thing...)
Becky Goodrich
We went to the Salt Palace Convention Center in the East Ballroom for my husband's Christmas party. The food was pretty great, but it's the staff that I have excellent words for. I had a migraine before I entered the building and, even though I took my rescue medication, it just wouldn't go away. They did not have any caffeine at the dinner and we didn't notice the vending machines on the way in. I wondered if the servers had any caffeine behind the scenes, but didn't think to ask them. My lovely husband, without my knowledge, asked one of the servers if they had any Coke or Pepsi and they immediately retrieved some from the kitchen and brought it with a cup of ice to our table. That was service beyond what was required and it made me feel valued. This is the kind of event that will make me think of this venue for my company as I sit as a member of our employee activity committee.
Rbrt N
Great place to go for a convention. Recommend the Hunting and Conservation Expo. Fun things for the kids, too.
Chimi Honey-Hand
When there's a convention going on there isn't really that much organization, people are everywhere and they're pushing and they're shoving and it didn't look like anybody was helping anybody. Don't get me wrong it's a really nice place. But I don't recommend going if you have really bad anxiety. Please note this is a review for conventions like FanX
Lucas Fabian Hackl
The convention center is really huge, but the conference provided detailed information on how to get to the various rooms. The food was also good. In summary, I was extremely satisfied with the conference and the convention center definitely contributed to this positive experience.
Kerem Cantekin
It is a bit of a too large and scary place. Still they put afford to be innovative. And the information center in the building is really amazing. It has been years I am living here, but I could still find new ideas on things to do in Utah.
Steve Whatcott
Awesome look, comfy feel, clean, big, cool. I went to a new years eve even called eve here and it was a really great experience. Just beware of 2 things. First, no parking, so you have to walk from nearest parking place, and second, expensive food.
Benjamin I Meszaros (Ben Meszaros)
The convention center is really a function of whatever the space is being used for at the time (Outdoor Retailers, Comic Con etc). The grounds themselves so the trick, and the architecture is interesting. The guts could use an overhaul though. Quite a lot of the interior- carpeting, fixtures, etc- feel dated.
chrissy W (Babayrouth)
Comic Con was awesome I went with my brother and he and his friends and me all had fun. It is a nice looking building and the staff at comic Con were awesome I can't wait to go there again.
Mac Dallas
I have been here for the outdoor retailer show. Massive convention center. The food is ok, a bit over priced but that's to be expected when going to any concession stand. Take note of where the bathrooms are. The salt palace is capable of hosting major conventions. If you do get hungry do your self a favor and try one of the many food options near by. Other than that it's a very large place for conventions.
Stephanee Eastman
This place is absolutely ginormous. Which is good because the possibilities are endless. And bad because it's literally miles of walking when you go to a conference there and some of rooms are really hard to find. Because of the way it's built, you find yourself having to go up and down escalators just to get to rooms that are on the same level. But you can do prettyuch anything here!
Alexander Grant
Huge hall and we visit it every year, sometimes twice a year for Fan X (formerly known as Salt Lake Comic Con) and the venue is always clean and well maintained throughout the event.
Vasco Elbrecht
An nicely laid out convention center, did not try the food that is sold inside (good options around the convention center). Catering was ok, but tee stations in the coffee break did often run out of water (also no cookies or snacks). Staff was friendly mostly. Did attend a freshwater conference here.
Leona Jans
A beautiful place, I got my second needle for covid 19. Thank you all there for your time, your help and smiles in your voice. Please all out there get your covid vaccination Please. No long line up's it move very well and quickly
Ildefonso Mozas
Big place. Perfect for the solar conference
Adam McGrath
I have only really been here for the different comic cons they have in SLC, but there is a very large convention floor, and plenty of room at the various panels to see your favorite celebrities. The food they have here is also quite delicious, which I was surprised about since most convention food is kind of bland. But if you don't want to eat at the convention center, there are PLENTY of places around the area to eat.
John Allison
A great convention center that isn't so big you feel like your feet are going to fall off by walking across it once. The best thing about this convetion center is that it is close to public transportation and great food. Like all convention centers the food inside isn't all that great. Go outside for much better food.
Alex MacKay
Gigantic convention center with a lot going on all the time. I went to a conference for work and during the breaks explored the whole building. That weekend was the Hunter Expo so it was very busy and there were a lot of delicious smells... There are a ton of close restaurants and hotels and parking is available all the way around the center.
Cynthia Butcher
I volunteered for a UCAP conference. It took me 10 mins to find an open door to get in on the North side. It was hard to find an unlocked door. I finally had to watch where people were going in. Other than that it was a good experience. The hallways were spacious. The rooms were huge, plenty of seating for the classes.
C. D.
Absolutely massive! I have been so several expos there and there is more than enough room for everything you can imagine. Parking can be a challenge, so leave with enough time to find parking. Less than 1 block from Temple Square.
Randy Robinson
I come for the comic con baby! I usually don’t come here for any other events so I don’t know what it’s like outside of the comic con event. The place is huge though, I do think the room numbering is weird when you reach the second floor. I’m not sure what that’s about. But honestly once you figure it out it’s not even a big deal. Hardly worth worrying about. What I’m saying is that it’s a good conversation center.
Scottie Gal
I have been to the Salt Palace for several conventions. I was here today to register and pick up my badges excetera for the convention coming up tomorrow. Just in the short time that I was there I walked 2 and 1/2 miles per my pacer app. So, if you have any type of mobility issues or cannot walk for long distances keep this in mind when coming here. There are maps of the convention center available online there are several entrances and you will want to find one that is most convenient for where you need to be that day. Also, you may need to consider a Mobility device: wheelchair, scooter, electric mobility chair, Etc. There are escalators and elevators. Look at the maps to see where they are. The Salt Palace does have many helpful people who can direct you to where you need to go. My convention organizers had help all over the convention center.
Hannah Elder
Easy to get around, very unique and spacious building! I loved seeing all the unique artwork done throughout the building! I always enjoy attending conferences here!
william hurley
Huge place. Plenty of room for any event. Recently went for fear con.
Sharon Talbot
Received my second COVID vaccination at the Salt Palace today. So thankful! The people there were so nice. God bless them all for keeping us healthy!
Scott Stofer
It's the largest and most centrally located multi use event center In the area. All the big events occur hear. You can have the outdoor convention going on on one end and roller derby the other and never the 2 shall meet if it's not intended!
Mary Heather Belcher
There for fan X. Great venue with plenty of space.
Joe “Pipeliner” Barker
AWESOME!!! Vaccination operation at the Palace today. 2nd Pfizer. Salt Lake County Health Department has really got their vaccination operations purring like a kitten. If you haven’t received your vaccination yet, make a date & get on down to the Salt Palace. The crew will make you feel like you’re at home. Oh, parking is a breeze & FREE!
A Montiel
We've been attending the Usana convention at the Salt Palace Convention Center for the past 7 years. Great people, great service and it's always clean and well stocked. Specially the restrooms which can get dirty quickly and run out of supplies with 12000+ people in the building at the same time.
James Howard
It's a great convention location. Although it is getting a little dated. The new hotel looks really nice. Will see how it is once it opens. The construction is kind of annoying at the moment.
Jackie Nally
Visited for doTerra Global Convention and had a blast. The staff were helpful and fair. The Salt Palace is HUGE! I got lost more than once, but always found something interesting on my way. Only complaint (and a minor one at that) is that not all of the lifts were working properly. It would have been nearly impossible to navigate if I hadn't been able to navigate the myriad stairs.
Camille Smith
Every event I have ever been to at the Salt Palace or helped participate in there has been wonderful. So many options for room size. Nice clean facilities. The staff that works there is always on top of it.
JR Beck
Great place to attend a conference. The Salt Palace has everything you would expect from a large conference venue and compares favorably with other venues that I have frequented across the country. I really enjoy the artwork outside the main entrance. The location is really great in downtown Salt Lake . It is near a Trax (light rail) station and a lot of restaurants. There is great shopping and food within walking distance at the City Creek Center. Also, the Salt Palace is very close to historic Temple Square which is the most popular tourist attraction in Salt Lake (and it's free). There isn't a lot of street parking but there are a lot of hotel and commercial parking structures close by.
Brandy Heatherly
Been to this convention center with my husband for two conferences. It's very nice to visit, and they have a cute little gift shop near the main entrance. Everyone there is very helpful, and they even gave us brochures to help us plan our visit around Salt Lake City.
Handmaiden Rakhel
I attended the Global doTERRA Convention here in 2017 and I loved the venue! The bathrooms seem small for being able host conventions with 30,000 attendees. Other than that, it's great.
James Tran
Comic con is about the only reason why I come here. The event space is large. They have a lot of meeting rooms. The place is very wide open and clean feeling.
Only complaint is parking situation. Not much to be done about that.
Anthony Jones
I work here, so if you ever get a chance to join an event we caterer the food. Made by the best chef's in town!!
Mindy Allen
It's very expensive, as is to be expected of a venue like this, and it's fairly dated (it smells of standing water or gym socks in some places) but it's very nice overall. I mostly go for Comic Con events, but have been to other things here as well, and it's pretty standard.
Zachary Miller
Had a great time at CubingUSA Nationals 2018! Hall 2 was very spacious and nice to be in. Floors are concrete and it is very easy to get lost here due to the size! Other than that, great venue!
Tri Wright
The Salt Palace venue is an attractive and functional convention facility which is located conveniently near public transportation. Physically, it is rather sprawling with it’s $12 per day underground parking located quite far from some of the convention rooms. The main reason for my 3 star review is due to the $60 per day fee for internet service in the venue. Quite exorbitant in my opinion.
Bryan B
Before attending an event at this location make sure to find out which hall your event will be held in. The convention center offers NO help in finding where your event will be held. If you choose the wrong entrance you might have to walk extremely far to the other end. The entrances should be marked with a schedule to show which hall. I also don't recall seeing a map. A simple map and schedule board should be posted.
Justin Galbraith
Awesome place to hold events and the workers made everything clean and neat
Jason Shultz
Great venue right downtown. Well laid out.
Michael Dixon
Attended the Qualtrics conference. The convention center is fine. Clean. Security is questionable since it was easy to skip lines and go through doors that they didn't want you to use. It was also very unclear why they didn't want you to us certain doors to egress - it was a bit wierd.
Mark Richardson
Great for events! Covers a large area
sarah dershowitz
Even with the current construction I still had to rate high, easy to navigate, plenty of staff around to assist and up to date covid protocol with a mask mandate.
Matt S
We were here shooting a couple sketches for Studio C. The staff were very patient. If we had a question, they answered, and in a polite and positive manner. The entire building was very clean, even the restrooms.
Debbie Smith
This is a great venue for large conventions as well as smaller groups - I've been here for both. The nearby outdoor, high-end mall is an asset, and its location to the Salt Lake City international airport is a huge bonus!
Scratch Pad
Although I have never attended any conventions here, there is a new art installation outside the main entrance that has many different signs with opposite words that I would have thoroughly enjoyed looking at as a very young child.
Keith Egbert
Comicon was great. just remember all the stars charge 45 and up for selfies and autographs individually. Let alone a photo shoot prices. Things they don't tell you on the ads. Totally worth the trip though
Seth McNeill
It's kinda jenky... Things look nice, but you can tell LOTS of stuff needs to be renovated. This review is more on the space then the event held there. Especially the bathrooms are broken down A LOT.
Elizabeth Constant Hopkins
Needs more bathrooms. No food availability except 1 day during 5 day conference. Hard chairs.
Tiffany McMillan
I've been to a few different events/cons here. Great location. I park at my work near the Vivint Center and walk up. I'm not sure if they actually have parking, but there are plenty of public parking nearby.
Donna Thompson
It's way too big, but perfect for large conventions. Lots of restrooms. Bright and modern. Crowds flow pretty easily. And you can easily walk to downtown SLC, shopping, and Trax.
Alex Fenderson
Went here for a fantasy art Exhibit. I wish there were more easily accessible bathrooms
Kyle Slaughter
the center is nice but finding the front door can be a challenge if you haven't been there before (fyi it is second South and West Temple). Like most convention centers, there is notHong inspiring about the place, it's just a big building.
Nona Dowdle
Directions are clearly marked and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone get your shots. We need to keep all of us safe.
Neha kherde
It's huge! With proper directions to different rooms.
jordan bennett
Went here for comic con, it was very beautiful and clean inside and outside. There was plenty of nearby parking and places to stop and eat. Definitely a great place for an event visit.
Julie Hyde
I attended "Master Your Influence" here. The facility was great. Sufficient restrooms for our 1200 people group. There are elevators and escalators. Elevator is pretty slow.
thomas jordan
A wonderful and versatile venue. I have seen it handle conventions, company parties, and community events. From the perspective of a performer or a patron it has always been pleasant.
SJ Restivo
Went here for Comic Con. The place is well laid out and sectioned off enough to allow for private venues. The large hall for vendors and concessions left enough room to walk despite the crowds.
BRANDY Grim
Comic con has been our yearly event since we moved to Utah 2014
Kip Kay
Very nice convention space. Not much else can be said, I have been here for several events. Only thing that causes problems is that all the parking isn't always open, so you might have a hike to get to your event.
Allison Stingley
Man, this place is huge. But, security was great for the UN Confernce, food delicious, sorry to hear pro family and pro life were taken off the agenda at the last minute. Volunteers were excellent
Nichole Conrad
Every time I'm here for an event I when they had better signs. The place is so big it's easy to get lost trying to find what you are looking for... unless it's comic con, then it's not hard to miss ; )
So Soft
Our venue was well organized and there was enough space. The toilets were a bit of a problem, a lot of the flush movement detectors were broken and one had to push a tiny button manually instead.
Kayelene Nelson
HUGE place. Absolutely ginormous. Went down there for a work party that was held in the grand ballroom and there was plenty of space for all of us. Huge company as well that were all seated very comfortably.
Dylan C. Stubbs
It's really big. Not a bad thing just equals a lot of walking. I really thought the ballroom was beautiful and I'd give that a 5 star! Wish there was more balls for the common folk!
71jimimac
The new hotel is going to be awesome can't wait to see it
Patrick Lynch
Our last experience here was for ComiCon. The staff were all pleasant to deal with. Along the way we had to ask people where a few of the rooms were, etc and I was never made to feel like they were put out. They obviously know what they're doing when it comes to conventions, and ComiCon was no exception!
Sam Pope Sports
It's very spacey and it looks very organized. I played volleyball there and the courts were very spaced and it was cool.
Bob Peterson
Went to the hunt expo, and had a blast. Concessions are really expensive $10 for 2 drinks. Fun though with all the cool taxidermy, and vendors.
Gajendra Deshpande
Great place to organise events. I had attended PyCon US 2022 here
Aaron Grimshaw
It’s snowing outside and they have the air conditioning on inside… it’s soooo cold inside you need to wear winter clothes to sit comfortably
Mace Bowen
Tad difficult to find easy access because of construction. Too many steps everywhere. The architect should be forced to walk his design in crutches.
Linda Bernini
We were vendors at a health and energy conference. There were lots of excellent presentors and a wide variety of vendors. I did not find any places to purchase a meal so I was glad I brought a sack lunch.
