We loved having DJ Masen for our wedding. Appreciated that we were able to be as involved as we wanted to be with song selection. He absolutely crushed transitioning the whole evening from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception. He did great in feeling the energy of our guests. We had so much fun and couldn’t stop dancing with our family and friends. Planning a destination wedding went so smoothly because of working with people like Masen. Thank you!!

We hired Aubrey for our wedding & reception, and she was fantastic. We met a few times before the event to get things figured out, and it all went great day of! We hired DJ Masen for our wedding and he was so great! One of the most frequent compliments we get about our wedding was how good the DJ was. He also was the DJ at my brother’s wedding, and we requested him specifically because he did such a great job! Guests danced for 4+ hours at both weddings! Also, Laughing Gravy was super quick to respond to our questions and we’re great to work with. Highly recommend!

Aubrey is amazing!!! She DJ'd our son's wedding three years ago and when our daughter became engaged earlier this year we reached out to Aubrey again. Why Aubrey? 1. She listens and is proactive. We had multiple calls and interactions to get everything just right. She had the perfect music selection and offered great suggestions. Aubrey is so easy to work with and a calming influence. 2. She goes above and beyond. For our daughter's wedding Aubrey was super helpful - everything from helping us set up table centerpieces to tracking down the venue staff to provide easels. Aubrey was totally invested in ensuring our daughter would have a great experience. 3. She knows how to emcee a wedding. Super professional, very warm and friendly. She kept all of us moving in the right direction, and the evening flowed incredibly smooth. One of our guests told us afterwards that our daughter's wedding reception was the best she ever attended, and I firmly believe Aubrey helped make that happen. I cannot recommend Aubrey highly enough, and I will have her DJ every single event in the future whenever possible.

Masen was such an amazing DJ!! From the start, planning was a super smooth process - Masen was straightforward and easy to work with, and even had a tracker that let us check which songs we had chosen for the entire day. On the day of, he did a fantastic job wrangling our guests and making sure everything went smoothly. And the dance party? Epic. It all started with my husband’s first dance with his mom (a surprise break dance) which Masen had created a specialty remix for. Then, we had a number of crazy fun elements that he curated just for us, like an epic dance competition that was one of my favorite parts of the wedding, period. Everyone was on their feet dancing and having a blast up until the end of the night. Masen is a true professional. Hire him!!

We had the pleasure of working with Aubrey as our DJ for our wedding at Red Butte Garden, and it was one of the best choices we could have made! My husband and I have unique music taste; we wanted a soundtrack that differed from the typical wedding playlists. Aubrey was excited to take on the task, and did an incredible job of making the day exactly what we wanted it. Music is a huge part of our lives and it was incredible to work with a DJ who got that. We weren't sure if we needed a DJ or not for our event. Small wedding dinner with dancing after. But dancing was at the TOP of my daughter's list of what she wanted to do on her special day. After shopping around I felt a little guilty going with Laughing Gravy just because they were the most affordable. Let me tell you, not only are they the best price I found, but our DJ - Aubrey - was awesome! She ran the night, from announcing the bride and groom, playing the fun shoe game with them, dimming the lights when needed and thanking the staff at the end of the night. She was fantastic, my daughter loved her, and we all had a blast! We will definitely use them again and recommend them!

My daughter was married March 21 2019 and we requested Mason for our DJ and boy was he perfect! We were on a schedule where we had to be out of the building at a certain time and Mason made everything run so smooth. He took care of everything. He met with the bride and groom before the wedding to make sure he had everything down from the line to cutting of the cake, dancing, bouquet tossing, garder, and send off. We were out of the building on time thanks to Mason keeping us right on track.He made it so much fun he even had the men from the wedding party including the groom go up on the floor giving them each props to wear on their head and he had them follow his actions to YMCA. It was hilarious! He was energetic and got everyone involved! I highly recommend Mason for your DJ from Laughing Gravy.

We were at first very excited to be working with Laughing Gravy DJ, as they were recommended to us by our reception/ceremony venue. The specific DJ we were paired with, however, didn’t seem to be the best fit for us in hindsight. Bryce did a fairly good job, however we were not impressed with the level of professionalism that Bryce showed throughout our time working with him. Additionally, he did forget a couple of the things that we asked him to include or do on our wedding day. Nothing was earth-shattering, however we did expect more. He also played slightly more older songs and less modern pop music than we would prefer. We don’t feel he took the time to get to know us as a couple, therefore what was delivered wasn’t what we would have wanted. That being said, people did dance and have a good time, and he did emcee very well. All in all, he did an adequate job.

We can't say enough about how happy we were with our DJ, Malcolm!! He is seriously a life saver! He is part DJ and part wedding planner! He was so helpful and knowledgeable and helped us with so much more than a DJ normally does! We also found out after the wedding that he had accidentally booked our wedding on his daughters graduation, and being a man of his word, he didn't cancel on us! You can tell he truly cares about everyone having a good time. At one point during pictures after the ceremony, my cake was taking a lean, so he found a very nonchalant way to have us cut our cake and then head back out to finish pictures. He made it seem like no big deal at all and everything went on smoothly. I can't tell you how many compliments we got about him too. He had so many great things to incorporate into our wedding (the shoe game was my favorite and a guest favorite as well!). So we want to thank you Malcolm for making our wedding so special and something we will never forget!

Masen was the DJ at our wedding a couple of weeks ago. He did a phenomenal job throughout the whole process. Masen was very responsive any time we had any questions. During the consultation, he was so knowledgeable! He brought up things that we would have never even thought of! On the day of the wedding, Masen was a huge hit! He interacted with our guests, kept the flow of night going, and even got on the dance floor with us to teach us some dances. Overall, we were very happy with our decision to use them for our ceremony/reception music at our wedding, but we did experience a few small hiccups along the way. We were reassigned a DJ twice in the year leading up to our wedding due to schedule conflicts with the DJs. My husband and I totally understand that those things just happen but I will admit it did add unnecessary stress as we started to wonder if it would happen again right before the wedding. Thankfully it didn't and we ended up working with a great DJ (Austin). He happily worked with all of our requests and did a great job keeping the energy up at our reception. All of our guests were having a blast on the dance floor all thanks to his music choices and MCing.

If I could give 100 stars I would. Hiring Laughing Gravy was the best thing for our wedding. We had DJ Mason and he absolutely killed it! He got everyone involved and made the whole night amazing. He met with us before hand to make sure he knew what we wanted, which was for everyone to dance the night away, and he did just that. Everyone who came was asking for the name of the company and Mason because they all thought he was so great. Definitely worth every penny.

Cris Behrens was the DJ for my wedding and Reception. He was INCREDIBLE! Louland Falls recommended Cris from Laughing Gravy, and I am SO glad we chose to have him be a part of our wedding. We had the pleasure of having Bryce DJ our wedding on May 15, 2014. He was incredible! We couldn't be happier. He was very professional and got our guests laughing. He even had our dads and groomsmen dancing to YMCA (very hilarious) He was awesome and handled some unexpected surprises very well (garter toss, jewish chair dance, etc haha) We have had numerous comments from our guests on how awesome he was and how you could truly tell he loved his job. It's almost been two months since the wedding and every time someone mentions it to us Bryce's name always comes up! Thank you so much for your amazing job! Bryce added so much to our wedding, and I know it wouldn't have been as much fun without him there!

Easiest part of the wedding planning! We had the pleasure of working with Cris for our wedding and he was wonderful! He really took the time to get everything absolutely perfect, even up until the weekend before the big day and I changed my mind with a few things, he didn't even make a fuss. To those couples trying to put all the pieces in place for a successful wedding and reception, don't forget a DJ. I never realized until my daughters recent wedding what a difference a DJ could make. Masen Christensen from Laughing Gravy exceeded all our expectations and turned our reception into the social event of the year! Before the event, Masen met with the bride and groom and went over every critical piece of the evening making sure that it was exactly what they had envisioned and fit their personalities and preferences. He then orchestrated, and directed the evening in a way that produced the ultimate celebration and power packed party. He involved everyone and brought the entire wedding party together to celebrate, let loose an enjoy the evening. So many of our guests said that they had never had so much fun at a reception. Masen took charge and made things happen. He was so professional and knew exactly how to work the crowd, pull people together and make that special wedding day magic. As the Mother of the Bride, I would highly recommend him. Being old school, I never thought that a DJ was a necessity at a wedding. I can now honestly say that I would never have a wedding without one. Take my advice, A DJ is more important and critical than a wedding planner. It was an event that I will never forget thanks to Masen.

I set up an appointment to meet with Durven who was both professional and friendly. I was very appreciative of his attentiveness to the overall image I wanted my wedding day to have. He took note of all my concerns and made sure that everything worked out perfectly... I was really concerned about being able to use a song that I really wanted in my ring ceremony, but he cut the track just right so it sounded perfect. I have to say, though, the reception was the best part. It was at Hidden Valley Golf Course in Sandy, UT, which was beautiful. But the dancing made the night! Durven didn't only provide the music, he literally provided the entertainment. Out of nowhere he surprised us by pulling out crazy props and making the groomsmen do the chicken dance... He made me start a congo line and dance all around the room. He had my husband dancing to Soulja Boy - something he almost never does! He lead the cake eating, the garter toss, and the bouquet toss making sure that everyone was laughing--and probably blushing a little bit too! Everyone was laughing and smiling. Months later we still get guests telling us they had such a fantastic time dancing. If you want to make your wedding a night that no one will ever forget, you HAVE to use Laughing Gravy Entertainment! I wouldn't do it any other way!

i work at a lot of weddings, and laughing gravy is one of the best DJs i’ve seen. some DJs have a tendency to make it all about themselves, but not these people! they did what i believe DJs should do: play awesome music that people want to dance to (and believe me they danced like there was no tomorrow), make announcements and handle the audio for speeches, and be friendly, professional, and personable while they do it. highly recommend booking them for your event. (also, the first time i’ve worked with a DJ who was a woman, and she KILLED IT. more, please.)
