The Clubhouse is absolutely AMAZING! I was looking for a venue for my wedding and needed a stage because it included a concert! I had several recommendations to check out. The Clubhouse was my first call and in one phone call, before I even saw it in person, I knew this was the place! Jude, the event manager, was friendly, professional, and patient! She welcomed my questions, allowed us to tour a few times so that we could plan, provided great recommendations for vendors, and overall great support! The venue included just about everything: chairs, banquet tables, cocktail tables, antique couches, A/V equipment, an awesome disco ball, fun lights, a projector with a huge screen, bartenders, sound tech, literally all that and a kitchen sink! The clubhouse combines a welcoming environment with wonderful people, set amidst SLC history. On Sundays they host a series of events that combine into my kind of church: mindful yoga, ecstatic dance/communion, sound bath and food. When tasked w/booking a decent sized meeting in Salt Lake City, I had a choice to book at a hotel, or try an event space in the local community of Salt Lake City. I went with local and in the community and I know I made the absolute best choice w/the Clubhouse! Jude & Dave are very friendly, easy to work with, and had an enormous amount of the meeting space already prepped & in place for our walk through & meeting run through. As an event coordinator that is not local to Salt Lake City, or even Utah, I cannot tell you enough about how much of a weight was lifted off my shoulders knowing that the meeting venue itself was in absolute great hands and was ready to go for the arrivals of attendees, which was just after sunrise on a wintry Saturday morning! I very highly recommend this space to any one looking to hold their event & certainly encourage those who traditionally book hotels for meeting spaces to look into this venue because it was exactly what we needed!

Words cannot describe how perfect this venue was for my wedding. The architecture has been meticulously maintained. Jude and her team were present and helpful with any request we had. I'm so happy to tell everyone what a memorable night we had at Clubhouse. I'll yell it from the top of Mount Olympus... but for now I'll put it on Google so more people will hear.

What a interesting suprise, I grew up in SLC and didn't know this gem was available. Enjoyed our acoustic concert & the vibe, It would have been a 5 star but noticed cracking paint on the ceiling of the main hall, we hoped it would hold until after the concert.

We threw a surprise 50th birthday party at the Clubhouse last month & it was A-MAZING. From the planning stage to the clean up afterwards, they were just excellent. Jude worked with us & offered A-plus service as hosts. We would recommend the Clubhouse on South Temple as the perfect place to host your event. We would also use the space for all of our events in the Salt lake City area. Thank you Jude & Dave! You guys are just WONDERFUL!

Beautiful historic venue and excellent staff. The building has a lot of history the owners have done an excellent job preserving it and leaving signs out showing the past through photos from the early 1900's. they have all the chairs, tables, tablecloths, and even a upstairs area you would need. Plenty of parking. PS great for photography!!!

I have attended numerous events (and hosted one) at the Clubhouse, and I am always in awe at how well-preserved the building has been kept! It has such charm and I love the history in every detail. The owners are helpful, dedicated to the space, and all-around awesome people. If I wasn't already married, I'd be planning to do so here. Instead, I'll keep attending anything that I can here!

Been to a few events here. This building is beautiful! Parking is available on the street and there is a small parking lot around the corner.

Cute airy place with lots of original features and sunshine! I was here for the Salt Lake Vintage pop up that was put on by Animalia (another great place!), the only thing to be aware of is parking is nearly impossible. We ended up street parking around the corner and just walking over, not a problem on a beautiful April day but it could be rough in the winter or on a rainy day.

This is such an amazing place. I have been going to events here since it was the Ladies Literary Club. The new owners are doing wonderful things with this place, and they are keeping its atmosphere with the same old world charm I always loved. They have great community programming here and it is also available to rent for special events. Be sure to check this place out!

This is a fabulous venue, no doubt, but what makes it even more unique and awesome is the owner. Choosing a venue is important, but I think equally important is the people you rent it from, the way they choose to operate their business, and the way they treat their customers. David is an absolute pleasure to work with, is super responsive in his communication, and I believe treats people they way he would want to be treated. He is also a true artist himself, so he understands the creative processes of the artists he works with, and has made Clubhouse something special where creativity can truly unfold and become something more, something truly special and inspiring! It was like this from the first phone call to the last text message. And this is why I said at the beginning that there is more to choosing a venue than just the way it looks. What really counts for me is working with people who get it, who treat people well, and who you know you can count on. David was really what pushed me over the edge and is the real reason I took the time out of my Sunday afternoon to write this review. I hope you have the same experience I had:)

I just left the club house and I must say... It is a place where you can book studio sessions, buy coffee, book photoshoots and last but not least. The stage room with the balcony is beautiful!

Clubhouse on South Temple is a STUNNING venue. Jude was so great to work with, and everything came together for our wedding day and looked beautiful. I highly recommend this venue. Beautiful stained glass and architectural details. They are very flexible and set everything up the way we wanted it.
