TL;DR: You need Madden Made Events for your wedding or event. I promise you, with my whole heart, that there is absolutely no better team. To put it simply - Kayla and her team created pure magic for our wedding day and went so far above and beyond, it's barely comprehensible. First and foremost, the planning, thought, time, effort, and care that went into making this day happen was of the highest possible bar. Kayla took the time to get to know my husband and I as humans and as a couple first. Getting to know us, our style, our love, and our 'vibe' helped her make informed, aligned decisions to make the vision was for our wedding day come to life. She made us feel heard, supported, and absolutely confident that she was operating with our best interests in mind. She navigated complicated family dynamics with ease and advocacy for us. She respectfully included our families in ways that were productive and constructive. She checked in on how we were feeling throughout the planning process and sent us helpful reminders. We felt her support through and through - by the ways in which she referred to "OUR" wedding day (not just the bride's), how intentionally she checked in on our comfort levels and access to spaces around the property, and how she approached our love and appreciation for tradition despite not being very traditional people. Now, on to the day! Kayla took some vague ideas about what we wanted/didn't want and turned it into a VISION that was perfectly, impeccably, executed by a team of incredible, in-budget vendors that she sourced, collaborated with, managed, and organized. I truly have not been to a more beautiful wedding in my life - and SO many of our guests said the same (and we've been to a lot of weddings!). We wanted our guests to be well fed, have fun, and to feel transported after two+ years of COVID confinement. What Kayla created was warm, approachable, absolutely stunning and accomplished all our goals. Her creativity, innovation and IMPECCABLE taste made this wedding feel so different than any other one we've ever attended - and it was so authentically us. Her suggestions, guidance, and delivery were spot on, through and through. Kayla advised us to trust our vendors, and that was the BEST advice of all. It was SO easy to trust Kayla, because of her transparency, honesty, and hard work. Kayla narrowed selections for us for every vendor, and gave insightful feedback and support throughout the entire planning process. She made innovative use of technology and was incredibly responsive, attentive, and prompt. Kayla and her team oversaw every single detail professionally and respectfully. When we needed tape or a mint - she was right there. She thought through all the logistics and were prepared for anything and everything. We were amazed the next morning to find everything in the tent totally broken down and organized - we easily carted away the remaining flowers and wine and didn't have to search for anything. Our wedding far, FAR, exceeded our wildest dreams and we can't imagine a more perfect way to start marriage and the lifetime of love ahead of us. Madden Made Events: thank you, truly and deeply. PS I think my face at the 'tent reveal' says it all. I was absolutely blown away and it was ALL Kayla's doing.

I hired Kayla for my June 2022 wedding and it was one of, if not, THE best decision I’ve ever made regarding my whole wedding. Kayla is a positive, personable person and truly is the sweetest. She get to know her couples and would give her best advice and guidance. I am the most indecisive bride I would be LOST without her help. She was there for me the entire wedding day to ensure everything would work out smoothly and it was a dream. Also shoutout to Katherine, her assistant, for helping to execute everything flawlessly for my wedding day. I am so grateful Kayla definitely executed more than what we hired her for. TLDR: hire Madden Made Events if you want a stress-free & magical wedding. You will not regret it for a moment. I've been slow to write this review because I'm struggling to string together the words to express just how incredible Kayla and the Madden Made team are. I am a planner and an organizer by nature, but found myself overwhelmed with the wedding planning process and quickly burned out and was not enjoying it. After the very first meeting with Kayla, I was overcome with relief. We gave her a few details on what we were envisioning and what we were like as a couple, and she took that and created a dream design that I hadn't even been able to articulate but was 1000000% what I had in my head, and put together a team of vendors that felt like lifelong friends (and are all absolutely masters of their craft). I genuinely get teary-eyed thinking about how absolutely perfect our wedding was and how insanely grateful I am for Kayla, Greg, and all they did for us. There wasn't a moment of stress and everything was executed flawlessly. The details were meticulous and perfectly tailored to who we are - our wedding could not have been more authentically us if we tried, and so much of that is because of Madden Made and their design choices. We even annoyingly asked to go offsite for brewery photos when there wasn't time but Kayla made it happen. We love you so much THANK YOU infinitely.

Kayla is a literal angel. We brought her on a little less than a year before our wedding date and she supported us all the way through venue selection (ultimately deciding to have an at-home wedding), task/timeline setting, design, and vendor selection/coordination. Kayla was instrumental in narrowing our focus and keeping our eyes on the “prize” always connecting us back to our original intentions with our wedding. She was our number one advocate for us and our vision with vendors, guests and, at times, ourselves. Kayla handled EVERYTHING from the teeny tiniest of tasks/decisions (like finding, purchasing and delivering our adorable tiny salt and pepper spoons) to huge decisions/tasks (like developing a master timeline and getting all of our vendors on the same page). Basically she’s just amazing and I am blown away by all that she did for us to create our perfect day! It’s hard to sum up almost a year of work in a few sentences but just know that by our wedding day I was throwing phrases like “I’m sure Kayla has it handled” or “I bet Kayla already thought about that” around like confetti and every. single. time she DID have it handled and HAD already thought about it!!

My husband and I got married July of 2021, Kayla was our planner and she is the absolute best. Being a wedding photographer myself I was SOOOOO picky when it came to picking my own vendors and Kayla was one of if not THE best investment we made for our wedding. She and her husband Greg made sure our day ran smoothly from rehearsal dinner thru to our reception. She cares so much for her clients and honestly felt more like a best friend than just a vendor. If you are considering whether or not to hire Kayla and her team for your wedding day, do it. I promise you will not regret it. It was hands down the best decision we made, besides getting married. My husband and I hired Kayla in 2020 and we got to know Kayla over the past 2 years while we planned our wedding. Although we hired Kayla for day of management, she did so much more. Between the panicked phones calls, email and text check ins, she was there every step of the way. We initially decided we did not want a videographer early on in the planning process, and then decided 3 months before our wedding we wanted to hire one. Kayla helped us find someone talented and within our price point. This is only one example on the many things she helped with. She was reassuring and assisted us while we made decisions to make sure our wedding day was intentionally us. On our wedding day, Kayla and Greg made sure our day went as planned and was stress free. She helped fix issues with my dress, held my phone while I walked down the aisle, and always ensured Eric and I had our needs met. Kayla is the most down to earth, kindest, most organized and creative human I’ve ever met. I could not imagine getting married or our wedding without her and her team. We are forever grateful and beyond blessed to have Madden Made Events a part of our wedding day.

Working with Kayla made the wedding planning process go smoothly. She was always available to answer any questions we had, and to even ask us questions we never thought about. Kayla is very thorough and organized, and easy to talk to. Even though planning a wedding can be stressful, Kayla's friendly and outgoing personality made the process exciting and fun! We were so grateful to have her by our side during the entire wedding. All we had to worry about was arriving to the venue on time. She made sure tables were set the way we wanted, and even handled any issues that arose before and during the wedding. For example, the tablecloths we received from our caterer were too short, and she made an executive decision to find a place nearby and rented longer table clothes... and she even dropped them off the next day for us. She also picked up and returned the ladder display we rented for holding our guest's mason jar cups that were also used for seat assignments. After the ceremony when we had to take lots of pictures with our photographer and the wedding party, Kayla was always there with a cup of water for everyone. She was very thoughtful. You can tell this is her passion and joy, and that she was born to be a wedding planner. If you're looking for a dependable and trustworthy person to essentially be your wedding planning side kick, I would definitely recommend her.

Kayla felt like family the second we met her. She made us feel so good about our wedding and checked in with us throughout the process. She was always willing to give advice and references when needed. I hired her as a day of coordinator, but she really helped support me through the whole process. When I was stressed and overwhelmed, she made me excited again and brought such a positive energy to every meeting. Day of the wedding I could not wait to see Kayla because I knew I’d feel better. You spend all this time dreaming of how your wedding will come together but the day of you can’t be there to set it up yourself, but I trusted Kayla whole heartedly. They will work hard to understand your vision, bring it to life, and revel in your joy and love story every step of the way. Kayla was not only our right hand throughout our wedding planning process, but she was also my Maid of Honor and friend of 10+ years. I have seen the hours, devotion, and care poured into countless weddings over the past few years – and yet, when it was time for our own planning process, I will still somehow left stunned and blown away by her and the entire Madden Made teams level of commitment. Kayla really allowed us to relax and enjoy the process. She recommended the perfect vendors who reflected our personal style so well, mapped out our space and design, delegated responsibilities in a clear and concise way, and reminded us along the way that this was our day and it would be nothing short of perfect. And, she was right. Katherine, who is a part of the Madden Made team, led the coordination day of and ensured every moving piece went as planned and fell into place. Katherine’s seamless ability to take on the day-of had us feeling both secure and confident and allowed us to enjoy the day instead of worrying about the details. I can’t imagine what our day, or planning process, would have been like without Kayla. We feel so lucky to have had the Madden Made team on our side – not only on our wedding day but beyond.

I truly do not know how to begin expressing my gratitude for Kayla and her team. Kayla was not just with me every step of the way, she also managed to be in front of me, thinking of and planning for things I hadn’t even considered and behind me, coordinating with vendors and keeping the stress away, all at the same time. Kayla invests in you and your love story, by the day of my wedding she felt more like family than a coordinator. I was a very anxious bride, struggling to make decisions and after being derailed by covid, TWICE, I started to feel like our day was never going to happen. Kayla never gave up, she believed in our vision for this day, at times more than I did, she fought to keep me excited through the process and to ensure the things I cared about were being prioritized/taken care of. Kayla single handedly connected me with the most amazing network of vendors and worked extremely hard to help me maintain my budget without sacrificing the vision. I can’t imagine not having had Kayla with me through this process and there with me at my wedding. I was able to enjoy the moment knowing Kayla understood and cared about what I cared about. That she was at the venue in the morning, making sure everything looked perfect, that she was coordinating and physically supporting all the vendors, that she kept away all the stressful questions, that she was there to help clean up. I really didn’t have to do or think about anything other than getting married. All this to say, Kayla and the team at Madden Made events are the BEST at what they do. If you are getting married, you need Madden Made.

Choosing to work with Kayla and her team was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding planning process. From the very start Kayla was extremely invested in our wedding day and making sure we were stress-free (if that's possible) during our planning journey. Kayla was honest and realistic but also kept things fun by making sure we were excited for everything that was to come. She was organized, punctual and overall just a fabulous human which made everything that much better. We genuinely looked forward to all the calls and especially our in-person meet ups with her & Greg (another invaluable member of the Madden Made Team!). As I look back on our experience, I seriously can't imagine doing it without Kayla. She played a huge part in our whole wedding experience and she helped make it run smoothly from start to finish. Kayla is an amazing resource with so much knowledge about the wedding industry and she also has strong connections to so many great wedding vendors who we were lucky enough to work with. We received endless well deserved compliments of Kayla from all of our guests and vendors, but frankly they were just telling us things we already knew. I know without a doubt that asking Kayla to plan our wedding was the second best marriage related decision we made, rivaling only the "I do". We already miss the planning meetings over pizza and the endless email thread, but we look forward to watching Kayla and team continue to thrive and make miracles happen for all of their future couples. Where do I start.. Kayla and I first met when I posted about needing a videographer. She sent me a recommendation & I instantly knew I needed her in my life/wedding planning process. I couldn’t believe that someone I had never met was able to capture my aesthetic and personality in such a short amount of time. From there the wedding planning process just got better & better. Kayla was there for me along the entire way. Her organization is impeccable & her personality is just an added bonus because she has the BEST energy. You need Kayla & the Madden Made Team if you are planning a wedding. She was critical in the execution of my day - which went seamless btw. Kayla went above and beyond even doing things such as giving my 7 month old a bottle while I was getting pictures done and offering to drive my bouquet to me at midnight after I forgot it at the wedding. As one half of a Madden Made wedding couple, I can say from firsthand experience that Kayla is an expert at wedding planning, detailed wedding design, and day-of event management. If you are having a wedding, my advice is to hire a planner if she's available, hire Kayla! Kayla handled all aspects of our big day from the beginning of vendor procurement all the way through to day-of coordination, set-up, and break down. In addition, she has a very keen eye for design and worked with us to ensure all (I really do mean ALL) details were covered and designed to enhance our wedding. She is a great listener and really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and as individuals. Kayla is also a master of management. She managed so much for us behind the scenes that, for us, the process of planning our wedding was fun, exciting, and stress-free. I cannot recommend Kayla (and Greg) enough for anyone who is looking for wedding planning services.

My husband and I got married about a month ago now and we still can't stop talking about how perfect our wedding day was, and we 100% could not have done it without Kayla + Greg from Madden Made Events. I found Kayla through a mutual friend of ours. I knew I didn't need full-on design services for my wedding but more so someone to answer questions, share recommendations, coordinate with our vendor team, and be there on the day of the wedding. Well, Kayla did all that and more with pure joy and excitement. I always looked forward to our check-in meetings because she brought so much enthusiasm and passion as well as organization and timelines and things I knew I couldn't do myself. The wedding planning process can be stressful and overwhelming but knowing I had Kayla in my corner to not only keep our planning on track, but to pump us up and to remind us what all of this is about, was truly a gift. On the day of the wedding Kayla + Greg put in so much work to set up our tables, coordinate with our vendor team, make everything look beautiful, get us married(!!!!), and they did it with huge smiles on their faces. Throughout the night Kayla made sure I was good, asked me if I needed a drink, let us know our photographer wanted some sunset pics of us, I mean I truly don't know what we would have done without her. All this to say, if you are like us and already have a venue and photographer, know what you want for decor, have a vision board, all of your vendors picked out, and don't think you need a wedding planner...you may want to think again. It truly takes a village and Kayla and her team can bring it all together for you, seamlessly. If I could do it all again, I would hire her first. Madden Made Events is the absolute best team out there! Don't think twice about hiring them.

STOP YOUR SEARCHING! If you're reading this, that means you have found Madden Made Events and you need to book them immediately! My husband and I hired Kayla and her team to be our day-of coordinators for our October '22 wedding and it was possibly the best decision we made, aside from deciding to get married! As a queer couple, we really had to do our research to make sure that the vendors we were hiring would be understanding of the uniqueness and nuances of our marriage celebration and would be supportive of us throughout the entire process. It was clear from the beginning that Kayla's ideals aligned with ours and that instilled great confidence in us for our big day. From the beginning stages, when Kayla was connecting with us to get started on the coordination process, to the day of our wedding, Kayla always made sure to let us know that she was just a phone call, text or e-mail away. Knowing that she was there to support us and help problem solve was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. She answered questions thoroughly and timely, she offered insight and suggestions as an expert in her field and gently guided us into making all the right decisions for having the *perfect* wedding day. My husband and I planned a very DIY wedding for various reasons, one of them being that I am admittedly someone who likes to be in control and that left me with a lot of responsibilities to handle. Kayla was so gracious in working with me as I was trying to pass the reigns to her. Throughout the entirety of the process, she was accommodating and understanding of my desires, while also instilling a confidence in me that she was more than capable taking the lead and working diligently to help execute my vision. Even on our wedding day itself, I was texting Kayla while getting ready because thoughts "x, y, z" had popped into my head and I wanted to be sure those things were taken care of. To absolutely nobody's surprise, she and her partner Greg were already 10 steps ahead of me every time and left me feeling assured that everything would be exactly as I had envisioned it; and, of course, it was! Our day ran more smoothly than I could have ever imagined and if there were any hiccups along the way (which there must have been, right?) I had absolutely no idea because Kayla handled them like the badass that she is! We TRULY could not have found a better team to work with and will be recommending Madden Made Events to everyone we know, whether or not they are even getting married! Now we just need another reason to hire Kayla... a vow renewal next year, perhaps?!

I’ve spoken with Kayla several times in our search for a wedding planner. My fiancé and I are doing a destination wedding, so we ended up choosing someone local to that country, but I was blown away by how much I liked Kayla and how I trusted her instantly. After we talked about going with another company, she sent us a venue she had found that she thought would be a perfect location for us. I think that paints a pretty good picture of who Kayla is as a person. If the stars had aligned for me, I’d have no hesitation going with Madden Made and I highly recommend this company to all my newly engaged friends!

I truly don't know don't how to articulate how much I adore Kayla and her team at Madden Made Events. In fact, I have put off writing this review, because words will not do it justice! My (now) husband and I live in NYC and got married in October 2021 in Providence, RI, after postponing for a full year because of COVID. We hired Madden Made Events because it was getting stressful trying to plan a wedding from a different state and we knew we had a fairly complicated wedding day (multiple locations, outdoor photos, church wedding, downtown city reception location, etc.). We also wanted to sit back and relax on our wedding day, and not worry about any of the details or other vendors. From the first call we had with Kayla, we KNEW she was our person. Throughout the planning process, Kayla provided excellent vendor recommendations, had many suggestions that took our day to the next level, was budget-conscious, and gave her honest opinion and expertise. She is all of the things you want in a wedding coordinator: organized, detail-oriented, up-to-date on the industry, experienced, communicative, creative, patient, honest, empathetic, etc. But she is so much more! She's wickedly funny, she'll make every step of the process fun, she'll become your ultimate hype girl, she's a problem solver who literally DOESN'T ever seem stressed (like how?), she's on top of absolutely everything (her detailed spreadsheets should be packaged up and sold en masse), she's accepting and non-judgement, she works incredibly well with other vendors, and so much more. By the end of the night, our guests were talking about how much they loved her and were asking for her contact information, so they could give it out to their family and friends. For days following our wedding, people were telling us "we love Kayla - she's incredible!" She's that good. Our wedding day truly went off without a hitch. For being a detail-oriented, anxious bride who struggles to let others take over, I felt calm and completely taken care of all day long - all thanks to Kayla and her team. Above all else? You can tell that Madden Made Events truly cares about you and your wedding day. You can feel Kayla and her team's love and passion. Our only regret is that we didn't hire her for design help as well, because she has such a creative eye! We would recommend Kayla a thousand times over. It was the best decision we made for our wedding day, and we are forever grateful.

Where do I even begin with Kayla and the Madden Made team? We hired Madden Made Events at a time when we were feeling down and overwhelmed with wedding planning. Immediately after speaking with Kayla we knew we needed her on our team. She took control of finding the last of our perfect vendor team and the stress was gone. We were again excited about our wedding. Every single meeting and interaction was helpful and informative. After getting to know our vision for our wedding, Kayla put together a design deck that could not have been more perfect for us. That design deck became a perfect day of representation of our wedding goals and relationship. Kayla & Greg were the perfect team on the day of our wedding. People always say at least one thing will go wrong on your wedding day but that didn't happen to us. Not a single thing went wrong or was out of place and that is all because of the amazing vendor team we (but mostly Madden Made) put together. Of all of our amazing vendors, Madden Made Events was the best decision we made. We cannot thank Kayla & Greg enough for all of their dedication and hard work. I don’t know where to begin. Kayla was a godsend. Even my husband can’t stop raving about her and some of the people who had the honor of meeting her the day of were in awe of her work ethic and professionalism. Also did I mention her serious dance and rap skills?! I met Kayla through a reference while looking for a day of coordinator. I needed someone who I could fully trust to make sure our day ran smoothly. For work, I plan corporate events and giving that trust or even finding someone wasn’t going to be easy. Once I reviewed Kayla’s website and platform, something just clicked. From day one, Kayla instantly gave me that reassurance that whatever I had planned and might throw her way, she could handle. Even though I hired Kayla just for day of coordination, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was on target beforehand. Kayla helped set up and decorate for our wedding and she made my vision come to life. The venue looked absolutely incredible and I was completely worry free day-of.
