I do not even know where to begin!!!!!! My husband and I spoke with other DJ's prior to Valentina and nothing seemed to fit. In speaking with Valentina I knew before hanging up the phone that she was the DJ for our wedding! Valentina was such a blast to work with. We expressed to her that the most important thing for us was that our guest were up on their feet dancing and man did she deliver. Valentina UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Valentina for your next event! I wish I didn't live in Jersey because I would hire her for ALL of my events!

Wow, where to begin with how incredible DJ Valentina is?! When my wife and I first started planning our wedding, we knew that having a packed dance floor was our top priority. We just wanted everyone to have an amazing time with music that would excite both our age group (mid 20s) and the older generations as well. When our planner recommended Valentina, she seemed like a perfect fit! From our first phone call we could immediately tell she knew the exact vibe we were going for. She also was able to provide an amazing open-air photo booth and up-lighting, both of which we knew we wanted. When it came to the wedding day, I cannot put into words how FUN and LIVELY she made that dance floor. Her ability to mix music (so that songs blended into each other), read the room, and just keep the excitement at a level 100 was unreal! Without a doubt the one piece of feedback we heard from guests over and over was "Oh my god, your DJ was INCREDIBLE!" In addition to the amazing dance floor, Valentina was also so great at MCing the event! The way she announced our wedding party and us just got everyone so, so excited to celebrate. I could go on and on. She is just an unbelievably kind, attentive, stylish, and TALENTED DJ! Hiring Valentina for your wedding will be the absolute best decision you could ever make. There's no one like her!

DJ Valentina is incredible. We hired her for our wedding. She truly listened to our vision and executed it flawlessly. She was also flexible, working with my cousin who played live music, our officiant, and even our coordinator to make sure everything ran seamlessly. We wanted to do our first dance outside despite weather warnings, and she worked very hard to make sure we could dance outside and then seamlessly transition inside before the rain! She was so kind, clearly loves her job, and was dedicated to seeing us enjoy our wedding night. She kept the dance floor full the entire night, and even came out from behind her setup to dance with me at one point! All our friends and family were commenting on how fun she was and how great the music was - 10/10 would recommend.

DJ Valentina is SIMPLY THE BEST DJ for your wedding or event! Danielle and I were married at Newport Vineyards (awesome venue!) on Oct 15, 2022 and from the moment we booked it (2.5 years ago) we knew we wanted DJ Valentina to emcee and DJ our wedding. If you're curious about her style and energy, just visit her instagram page, @dj_valentina - you will be blown away. It was very important to us to attempt to book both female vendors and musicians, artists, designers and entertainers of color. We knew that going into our wedding day, anything could happen (and boy, do we have stories!!), but we also knew that she would help make our evening very special, and did she ever. First, DJ Valentina provided excellent sound support for the ceremony, which took place outdoors, about 150 yards from the actual reception building. The wireless mics were crystal clear and she provided comfortable volume for the attendees. Second, as a musician myself, I had a surprise planned for the reception - an acoustic serenade for Danielle. DJ Valentina and I briefly discussed the plan a few days prior to the wedding. While cocktail hour was taking place on the patio, she setup a single Bose tower with a wireless mic for the serenade. We did a very quick and discrete soundcheck while Danielle was mingling. With a simple, "you got this" and a hi-five, I felt really good about making this work. In my opinion, the surprise was a big success, and I could not have pulled it off with out the diligent help and support she provided. Third, DJ Valentina rocks! While we gave her some ideas of our musical preferences, she began reading our crowd as soon as they arrived. We have a diverse range of friends and family and she had everyone dancing with multi-genre mix while sprinkling in all of our favorites - the more Whitney, the better! She even snuck out from behind her DJ booth a few times to hit the dance floor with our guests - everyone loved it! Lastly, DJ Valentina is the consummate professional and an amazing talent. She is incredibly fun to be around - people gravitate to her. She is also so reassuring, before, during and after the event. And most importantly, you can just tell that she loves people - she is a kind, positive force. Thank you, DJ Valentina! Book her now. We made up our minds 2.5 years ago and are so happy we did.

We had two families from different cultures (white American vs Dominican) and she seamlessly weaved our requests and song choices smoothly to keep everyone dancing the whole night! From Bruce Springsteen to T-Pain to Bad Bunny and bachata, she played it all. She took our requests and "do not plays" into account, and any songs she added were exactly the vibe we wanted. Have you ever experienced a situation where you look around a dance floor and you see more empty space rather than people up on their feet? If so, then DJ Valentina obviously wasn’t your DJ. From the first conversation I had with DJ Valentina, the passion and joy that music brings her was palpable, and this never wavered through to the last song of the night at our reception. We hired DJ Valentina for our ceremony music, lighting, and reception, and she truly made the night magical. From getting my aunt who was adamantly against dancing on the dance floor within minutes, to checking in with my husband and I to make sure the vibe was what we were looking for, Valentina is a true artist with her work and the energy was exactly what we were looking for. We have heard from all of our family and friends how the party was one of the best they have ever experienced, and the variety of music that Valentina selected read the room so perfectly it seemed effortless (though we know it was not). In addition, the beautiful uplighting transformed our space from a tall ballroom (Providence G) to a romantic, intimate, club atmosphere that became more and more beautiful as the sun set. Hands down the best DJ you can have for your event! I have worked in the wedding industry with Valentina for years and knew i had to have her for my big day. We called her before even booking the venue! She is so professional with her sleek set-up, awesome music knowledge, and perfect MC skills. We had a small guest count and she still managed to keep the energy on the dance floor all night. She went above and beyond for us with a custom first dance cut, changing plans last minute because of weather, and keep all our guests happy with their requests. Book her before its too late!!!

This lady is so professional, passionate, detail-oriented skilled, and gets things done! Cannot recommend her enough. COVID took a big wrench to our wedding plans that occurred last month. We had to heartbreakingly cut our guest count from 160 to only 50 people. As half of our guests were from out of the country we wanted to have them join at our wedding in a meaningful way. We decided we wanted to offer our guests from afar to join us through Zoom. After discussing our thoughts and plans with DJ Valentina she recommended we go with Jeff from SCE Events. We put our faith into how confident she was in him and we were able to get everything booked within 1.5 week before our big day. Post wedding our guests were raving about the music and how well the Zoom went! Valentina even went out of the way to make us a sign that my husband had sent her jokingly. And at our wedding, we were wonderfully surprised with the sign. We can’t thank you enough DJ Valentina for everything you have done to make are day so seamless and so much fun!

Valentina was highly recommended to us by our caterer. At the time, we hadn’t begun looking for a DJ yet, but we decided to check her out anyway. When we first spoke to her, we were immediately impressed with her. It was very obvious that she was not your typical DJ. Valentina was just super cool, down-to-earth, likable person. Nothing I say will truly describe how AMAZING Valentina is as a DJ and a person. When we got engaged, we booked her immediately with no real plan for a wedding. We just knew we had to have her and neither of us had been to an event where she had played before. Just watch her videos on Instagram and I promise you will fall in love too! Valentina was SO accommodating and understanding when it came to date, venue and location changes. We went from a large destination wedding in Jamaica to a small, micro wedding in Narraganset due to COVID-19. She asked us our comfort, vibe and vision and she completely nailed it. DJ Valentina went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding on March 12, 2022. She came highly recommended from our venue and she freakin delivered. She provided amazing customer service throughout the planning process as we were a postponed wedding from the reschedules due to the pandemic. She provided the uplighting too and created a party mood and then she delivered the most important thing, a nonstop dance party. She listened to our suggestions from our pre-event meetings and mixed and match when the time is right for reading the dance floor. My guests were really enjoying themselves on the dance floor ranging from ages 16-80 and were telling me she was an awesome DJ and could really keep the party going. My wedding was on 12/12/15. About 2 years ago when my husband and I began planning our wedding he had some so research on DJ's and came across Valentina and the Hitched Wedding group. We quickly planned a meeting with Valentina and instantly knew we wanted to work with her. Before even making a commitment to her has a DJ ( we were still early in the planning process with no date picked or venue secured) we were giving her ideas of where we were looking to have our reception and she was instantly willing to help us in any way that she could! Finally we went into full force planning Valentina was there to make sure she knew exactly what vibe we were looking for during our reception. When it came time for the big day our reception was AMAZING!! I have never seen so many people out on a dance floor at a wedding! The atmosphere of music that was created by Valentina listening to what my husband and I wanted was spot on!! In addition to the DJ services we also utilized the Photobooth through her hitched wedding group. It was awesome and I think my nieces and nephews especially enjoyed it! I am beyond grateful for the amazing job that Valentina did on this special night. I just recently got married and I cannot recommend Valentina enough. If you are getting married in RI, I would recommend booking your venue based off of her availability. Not only is she a great DJ, but she is also such a wonderful person. When I originally reached out to her she was unavailable for my wedding date, but she went above and beyond to get me musicians/DJs that were available. Our wedding ended up being postponed twice due to covid, so I reached out to her again with my third date and she finally was available. I couldn’t be any more thrilled to finally have her as our DJ. When the day came, she did not disappoint. She worked the crowd and kept everyone happy and dancing. There is something to be said when you are in that stage in life where you go to 5 or more weddings a year and guests of all ages come up to you after your reception and clamor that your DJ was the best they have experienced in their entire life. It was just the sort of compliment we were hoping for— a DJ that stood out and brought our party to the next level. So it’s easy to say that it was a huge love fest for Valentina on our wedding day but from start to finish she was a pro! With every “quick question” email I sent her way she responded, putting my mind at ease that, with everything I had to worry about for planning, music was not one of it. Her flexibility and honesty made the process seamless but most important, Valentina promised us a kick ass party and she delivered beyond expectations (even with the bar set so high based on her glowing reputation). Her amazing personality is infectious and her music selection is on point. For our wedding she read the crowd perfectly and kept away all that cheesy music that makes eyes roll. Doing so, she ensured that all of us – from Grandma to Groom – were tearing up the dance floor from the first beat drop to when they turned on the lights and made us go home. In fact, we had a problem with our shuttle service because too many guests decided to stay the whole night rather than leave early– isn’t that a problem all hosts wish they had? We were lucky enough to have DJ Mastermind do our wedding too and not enough can be said about him either. All in all, these two packed a power punch that will be something we will remember for the rest of our married lives. You would be crazy not to pick up the phone and call her!

Valentina was EXCELLENT! She really got the party started and kept it going throughout the whole wedding! Everyone was talking about how it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I know the music was a huge part of it. The only complaints I have were that the entrance songs for each couple in the bridal party were mixed up and our first dance song was a different version than the one that we wanted. But everyone makes mistakes and I was the only one who noticed. The monogram of our names on the dance floor and the uplighting that we had through Valentina was spectacular and really brightened up the room! She is very professional and fun and I enjoyed having her as part of our special day!!!

This is a review that is long overdue. DJ Valentina came through with a service worthy of more than 5 stars. We had an early October wedding at at Fort Getty in Jamestown that had limited hours on a Friday night. We also had a late start due to some traffic issues with our wedding party. Even with all of this DJ Valentina adapted to the change in schedule and worked with us throughout the evening to ensure everything ran smoothly. She also followed all of our requests and added her own spin. There was not one song that felt out of place and she had everyone dancing until the last minute. James took our beautiful engagement photos and Al was our wedding photographer, who took TONS of pictures of us on our wedding day - you can really see that he loves his job and takes his work to the next level. The Photo Booth was also hysterical - many guests loved it so much, especially the kids! My flowers were gorgeous, and exactly what I had imagined! Not many people can say that they were able to sit down and book almost their entire wedding with one person in less than an hour - but that is exactly what we did with Valentina and Hitched. Our wedding day was perfect because DJ Valentina killed it with the music. Everything I wanted and more. The dance floor was packed before our salad was even served. Mix of English and Spanish songs and she even MC’d in Spanglish. Uplighting was beautiful, can’t say enough good things about her. Simply the best!!

When my wife and I started the planning for our wedding we wrote out the list of different vendors we would need to seek out. When DJ came up I knew there was no one else I would rather have than Valentina. She worked with us through the time leading up until the wedding to make sure we had the perfect experience. As the night finally was finally here, we couldn't have asked for more from her. She directed the night and made sure everything went off without a hitch... from the music, to the introductions, as well as seamlessly working side by side with the band we had also hired. DJ Valentina is extremely good at what she does, and is very easy to work with, both during preparations and on the day of. We had a small wedding and one hour in, I was worried our event wouldn't be good enough for HER. She was so good, she seemed like she belonged at a high-end club or festival in New York or London, rather than at our little wedding. Fortunately, throughout the night, she never once did anything to indicate this was the case. She continually approached us to make sure she was still providing the right type of music and feel. She was excellent at maintaining our atmosphere, but still reading the room and adjusting to what would make people want to dance and enjoy themselves the most. I trusted her judgement and her abilities 100%, and was not disappointed.

I’m not sure how I got so lucky finding Dj Valentina but my husband and I couldn’t be happier. She brings an energy that is adored by all; no matter the age, taste in music or dancing abilities she somehow energizing them all. I didn’t fully know how she’d be able to read a crowd full of all ages but she did incredibly well; you know it’s a party when nana stands up to dance! She brings so much more value than playing music. After a long day of preparation and feeling exhausted her ability to get us all dancing for the entire night was exactly what we needed, feet hurting and all.
