I’ve worked with many venues over the years but Belle Mer just does it right! Not only is the view amazing, the food is incredible, the room is simply beautiful but the staff is the best! From Nicole, the event coordinator, to the servers to the bartenders to the helpers - they are ALL so attentive, helpful and truly care about the end result and making their client so happy. Their attention to detail is above all else. I would work with this crew every weekend! Great job Belle Mer ❤️

Just got married here last night and all I can say is wow. The event went very smoothly and all of the staff did a great job. I’d like to thank Sarah and Ruth in particular for making such a direct impact on the time that my wife and I shared. Sarah was on point from the beginning and very professional, yet always kept her friendly demeanor while doing everything with a smile. Ruth if you are reading this, we just wanted to thank you again! You really made a wonderful impact on our night. How you perfectly managed to be right there absolutely anytime we needed something, yet balancing giving us alone time is something of an art which deserves to be recognized. Thanks again everyone on staff 10/9/22, it was a special night that we won’t forget!

Went to a wedding recently & everything about the place was beautiful! Venue, the views, you name it. Staff was so friendly! Ivana proactively asked if I wanted sandals (took off my heels and had none) - and got me a pair without me even asking. Above and beyond for the bride, bridal party, and as far as the guests like me! I would highly suggest this venue if you love Newport and gorgeous views the entire night & good staff!

Belle Mer is absolutely beautiful, but you don’t need me to tell you that. Is it pricey? Yes, but you don’t need me to tell you that either. If the atmosphere is something you care a lot about, it doesn’t get much better than Belle Mer - it’s absolutely worth the price. The indoor/outdoor experience was just awesome. Being able to step off the dance floor and into to the fresh, fall, seaside air really created a special experience. We had our beautiful wedding in the Water Salon on a Saturday in late September, and everything exceeded our expectations. Guests were blown away by the location, the venue, and most importantly, the food! I was truly pleased and impressed with the quality and flavors of everything they served. Many of our guests told us the same. I’m a very detail-oriented person, and often find myself disappointed when I hire professionals who can’t meet the level of care and attention that I expect them to bring. But I can’t say enough good things about Sara Leonard, our coordinator. Sara is a class act, a consummate professional, and never missed a beat! And I must add that she did all of this during perhaps the busiest wedding season ever (2021 - post COVID-19). I know that she was juggling much more than the coordinators are usually expected to handle, but she did not let it show. No matter what I needed, Sara delivered. She answered every single one of my questions thoroughly, and I never needed to re-ask or get clarification. Sara really threw it over the top when, on our big day, the beading on my shoes kept snagging the lace on the bottom of my dress, and it didn’t take long before I had quite a mess at the hem. Sara didn’t hesitate. She sat right down on the floor in front of me with a needle and thread and was able to sew a piece of the dress lining to the outer layer to prevent any more snares. (She informed me that her grandmother taught her how to sew.) Just wow! I never expected this and thought it was above and beyond her call of duty. For Sara, nothing was beneath her. Clearly, whatever problem arose, she was going to handle it! I tried my best to be a “chill” bride, but there was one moment on our big day when I was starting to feel worried and stressed. Just a few minutes before our outdoor ceremony was to begin, it started to rain. A bride’s worst nightmare! Guests were gathering, and everyone (and everything) was getting wet. Sara calmly came to tell me that it was just a passing shower, they were opening the cocktail space to let guests get out of the rain and to serve them some drinks while we waited. Of course she had no idea if the rain would continue or not, but her calmness in that moment was exactly what I needed, and she knew it. Lucky for us, she was right. After 10 or 15 minutes, the rain passed. The staff got right to work drying off all the chairs and ceremony table with towels, and before I knew it, I was walking down the aisle to our beautiful spot right in front of the ocean. Sara saved the day! Thank you so much, Sara! I will never forget it! Every single one of the staff at Belle Mer was so friendly and fun. They are a big reason that our wedding day had the great energy and vibe that it did. But there is one other person I have to call out - Vula. Vula was my bridal attendant, meaning it was her job on the wedding day to be quietly at my heels and make sure I had every single thing I needed. She made sure I ate, made sure I had a drink when I needed one, and was just an absolute delight to be around. I felt like she was family. Every time I saw her she had a big smile on her face, and she was so down-to-earth. I really loved her. I felt lucky to have her by my side that night. Our experience at Belle Mer was top-notch, and yours will be too!

We were married here last weekend. I don't have many photos since we had a photographer doing all that...but rest assured this place is stunning. We had our date scheduled almost 2 years out. With COVID coming, going, then coming back again, we didn't know what to think. But the venue simply blew away our wildest expectations. The location is astonishing, gorgeous views outdoors. Indoors the Water Salon is simply jaw-dropping. The staff here was without a doubt the most professional, attentive, and kind I could have possibly ever dealt with. Sara (our coordinator) was on the ball from the moment we arrived. Everything from helping us with a unfortunate rain shower right before the ceremony started to solving several wardrobe-related issues, we couldn't be happier or more thankful. Our bridal attendant Vula was by our side the whole night. She didn't stop smiling, and was quick to keep us informed as to what was happening and ensure we didn't put a foot out of place. Neither of us had to go find a drink or something to eat, as Vula and team made sure we had whatever we wanted in hand. Belle Mer is an A+ venue. We are so happy we were married here!

My husband and I had our reception at Belle mer in the island house this past august. Their are not enough words to truly express the wonderful experience we had at this venue. The entire staff was absolutely amazing and so so accommodating. We had Meghan Dargy as our event specialist and she was so easy going and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She helped us with so many little details along the way and went above and beyond. The day of our wedding a few mishaps happened with our florist and she right away took charge and helped facilitate things. The day of the wedding she made me feel at ease and just so comfortable. Everyone that was at our wedding still talks about how beautiful and amazing it was, from the view to the food as well as the staff. We are constantly recommending this venue to anyone who is getting married in the future cause we had the most amazing day and experience. Thank you Belle mer !

We came here for a wedding which was absolutely beautiful. This is in November and we were blessed with some surprisingly good weather. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We were here for the sunset and the windows and view to the west were absolutely beautiful. The venue itself is very accommodating and staff is very welcoming. I would definitely come back again and would definitely want to have a wedding or special event here soon.

I was here as a photographer for a Wedding. The venue was easy to find, I was worried about parking but had no issue. Lovely location great view of the bridge. Staff was pleasant and efficient indoor wedding took place in the reception area, then cocktail hour adjacent, while the area was reset to reception, transition went fine. nice grounds for pictures, outdoor fire place was nice and seemed to be enjoyed by all the guests. there is an extremely large "getting ready" area above the reception area which was Really nice! overall good place for a wedding,

Where to begin....PERFECTION!!!! When you go with a Longwood Venue you get incredible service!!! My daughter was married at Belle Mer on 10/15/21 after moving the date three times! The staff makes this easy! They pay attention to EVERY SINGLE DETAIL and make things exactly the way you want it! Is it pricey - YES, but you'll worry about nothing!! They think of EVERYTHING! Then, there is the actual venue! It's amazing! It is so beautiful and directly on the water! The view is perfect. The food - WOW! Can't beat the food. It was served hot and the options were excellent!! EVERYTHING was AMAZING!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Most beautiful venue I've ever seen! I was the matron of honor on my sisters wedding three days ago and we are still dreaming of this place. Perfect sunset and decorations, all your pictures will come out beautifully. But what it makes this venue even better is the service and attention of the staff. The food it's out of this world, from the Salad to the cake and drinks everything came out to perfection and delicious!! The catering team and bar tenders were amazing. Thank everyone at Belle Mer.

WOW we loved Belle Mer! My husband and I got married there 3 days ago and I couldn't wait to write a review! The experience was simply lovely from start to finish. The staff is kind and detail oriented, the food is incredibly delicious, and of course the view is stellar! We were so sad having to leave the venue after our reception ended. We were in the Island House and our guests could not stop raving about the service and location. Perfect place for a perfect day! Highly recommend! I would give 10 stars if I could! We worked with Sara as our event coordinator and she was amazing! Hoping someone we know will get married there so we can return to this beautiful venue!

This is one of my favorite wedding venues. It's simply beautiful! The staff communicate through an earpiece and offer the highest quality of service to all guests including their vendors. The food is always delicious and oh what a view! It's quite pricey to host an event here, but worth every penny!

From beginning to end, everything was picture perfect. The food was plentiful and superb and the views were breathtaking. The service was impeccable. I can’t say enough about how perfect our daughter’s wedding was. I have been to many weddings in my lifetime and this venue is number one. I can’t even think of a single thing that went wrong.

To say everything and everybody was fantastic is an understatement. We just had our wedding on 5/20/17 in the Water Salon and it was more then I could have imagined. From the beginning, all employees went above and beyond. Our initial tour with Steven was fantastic and he continued to keep in touch throughout the whole process. He is amazing and made us feel at home from day 1! Abigail is a saving grace and we called her our angel throughout this whole process. From day 1 she was extremely helpful, always there to answer our questions and keeping us on track and organized. It is extremely overwhelming to plan a wedding (especially since we had no idea what we were doing) and she was there every step of the way. We honestly could not have done it without her and her guidance. Brianne, the day coordinator was fantastic and she ensured the day was seamless and everybody we talked to rave about the wedding and how perfect the flow was. She had everything set and even put an extra pair of flip flops at my seat and my favorite drink. During photos, she was there with drinks and appetizers..she was seriously a godsend. The waitstaff was incredible and all of our guests were RAVING about them. They were so professional and social they were honestly fantastic. Seriously, the best!

I had my wedding at Belle Mer on June 23, 2019. This was the first choice I made in moving through the Wedding process and I am so happy that I did! It was simply above and beyond!! Stephanie, our wedding coordinator, could not have been more fantastic. She was always quick to respond to any questions, extremely helpful and accomodating, incredibly efficient and always made things as easy as possible for me and for my mom. She was kind, patient and just overall did a phenomenal job assisting us in making this the most special, amazing day we have ever experienced. The day of, Chelsea, our day of attendant, and Stephanie were on top of everything. We had hors d'oeuvres brought over to the bridal party through photo shoots, there was always a drink in mine and Albert's hand, every moment was well coordinated and perfectly executed. The staff was fantastic. Our bartenders, Josh and Danielle were awesome and so accomodating!! The food was delicious. I think at one point I ate 4 tuna tartare bites one after another in the middle of photos (Can't wait to see how those came out 😂) We cannot speak more highly of everyone at Belle Mer or of the beauty of the venue itself and the location. Every aspect of the team to the location to the blessing of a beautiful sunny day after almost a full week of rain (and hail the day before) made our day one we will never, ever forget. We cannot thank you all enough (especially Stephanie for all of her hard work for months on end!), but we can try :) So thank you from the very bottom of our hearts! I've always thought it was corny and inaccurate to say that one day is the best of your life, but I can say very positively that Sunday was the best day of our lives. I will strive to have the rest of my days meet the feeling that we felt that day. Maybe one day we will, but I don't think anything could ever be better.

We had our daughter's wedding at Belle Mer on June 23,2013. What a fabulous night it was! Everything from start to finish was BEYOND our wildest expectations.Vanessa Hoyle and Katie were the most amazing,patient,detail oriented event planners.We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about them. .My wife was so apprehensive about committing to stations without seeing images of the set up. She wanted the food to be fabulous and plentiful. Need I say it was that and more. Chef Blessing knocked it out of the park! Even the foodies in our family were blown away. Two weeks later guests and family members are still going on and on about the food. The presentation,the synchronized service,and the quality of the food ranked right up there with any fine dining venue.Yes Belle Mer is not for the faint of heart or pocket,but you truly get what you pay for.A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES is, to us, worth everything.
