5 STARS!!! J29 Events was an 11/10 experience - if we could give them more stars in the ranking, we would! We worked specifically with Sabrina Peters for our wedding this summer and we knew from the moment we interviewed her a year ago that she was THE ONE! My husband is Italian (and coincidentally so is Sabrina!), so she was the perfect planner to conceptualize the big day and really nail those traditional Italian wedding moments that were so important to share with his family traveling all the way from Italy. What really set Sabrina apart was her collaborative attitude that perfectly balanced her impeccable expertise - it was 100% our vision, but she elevated it to something better than we could even imagine. When you're engaged and planning a wedding, you're really caught up in the big picture and the feeling of it all, but Sabrina was crucial to the process because she is so detail-oriented. I always left our brainstorm sessions energized and more excited than ever. Both my husband and I look back on our wedding day and agree that it was even better than we could have imagined - and it would not have happened without Sabrina and her team! Full disclosure we opted for the Full Planning package and it was worth every penny. Sabrina has been in the industry so long, her wealth of knowledge on tips and tricks to save (but also when to spend) really helped us stay close to our budget, but achieve the final product that we wanted. She was also a great emotional support during the roller coaster that is planning and we became great friends after it all! The J29 team is amazing and we couldn't recommend them enough!

To those doing their research on wedding coordinators and to those on the fence…J29 has our HIGHEST recommendation. We got married on September 17th and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Shauna and the J29 team. We hired them for full-service planning – which they describe as the ‘hand holding’ package on their website – and that’s exactly what it feels like. Planning a wedding can be incredibly stressful, but J29 took the stress out of the equation and actually made the entire process fun! We looked forward to every meeting and always left feeling accomplished and even more excited to see the vision Shauna was putting to life. We didn’t have to worry about making sure we had our bases covered because we quickly realized just how on their game J29 events is. And that’s saying something, because we are both type-A and very meticulous. Throughout the planning process, Shauna was able to capture the vision of our ‘perfect wedding day’ through constant ad-hoc communication as well as in-depth scheduled meetings. She was responsive and addressed all of our calls, emails, and texts and after a few weeks, it felt like working with a close friend. She never once gave off a ‘close enough’ mentality; her high drive and attention to detail is palpable. It doesn’t just take someone with the characteristics of a good planner to make a good planner. J29 is well connected in the industry – and they clearly only network with the best of the best. Every single referral that they gave us was tailored to our taste and highly talented at their own craft. We watched as J29 events curated a dream-team of vendors who made our wedding day look like something out of a dream. As we got closer and closer to the wedding, the value of hiring J29 became more and more evident. And when the big day finally came, J29 events set themselves apart as the highest value-add to our wedding. Shauna & Sabrina were absolute machines. Their ability to coordinate 30 or so individuals from various vendor teams, overseeing & handling 200+ wedding guests and ensuring that we were sticking to our day-of timeline was so impressive. As stressful as that job may sound, neither one of them wore it on their sleeves; every time they came into the bridal suites, they had smiles on their faces and made sure that there was a stress-free vibe in the room. What has been even more impressive is that they handled issues without us even knowing about them! We had only heard of the few tiny hiccups after our wedding. We left our wedding and in a paid-for car service. We came back the next day, and the planning team had taken our keys and packed up our car of all personal belongings that we left behind. In hindsight, it is easy to look at the various things that we chose to do and not to do and decide if those things were worth it or not. Undoubtedly, hiring J29 Events was the single BEST decision we made in the wedding planning process. We give them our highest recommendation and have nothing but positive things to say about the team and the amount of work they put in for us. Anyone who hires them will surely be in good hands. Thank you SO much to Shauna, Sabrina, and the entire J29 Events team! You made our wedding the best day of our lives and we are so grateful. Shauna was the best planner + partner I could of asked for planning our wedding. Shauna and her team went above and beyond to make our vision come to life in a little barn in Oregon. Shauna is super detail oriented, organized, and collaborative with our other vendors. J29 was the best decision I made for my wedding. I don't know what I would have done without Shauna. She is diligent, organized, hilarious, and was my emotional/mental therapist throughout the whole wedding planning. She even made me the most beautiful custom designed wall to bring my vision to life. J29 really listens to how you vision your wedding, and every little detail was SO perfect. Not to mention every twist and turn, Shauna was on it to make sure it wasn't a problem! I'm confident that if I had a storm coming to my wedding, they would have turned that into a beautiful storm wonderland wedding. I loved every second of my wedding and I highly recommend them!

Lois with J29 was an absolutely amazing coordinator to work with for our wedding. I thoroughly enjoyed our meetings together and truly felt like we were always on the same page because she always took the time to talk it out with me if we hit a bump in the road. Because we chose an extremely remote location about 1.5 hours away from all of our vendors with no cell service and minimal power everything had to be planned out to a T and we needed to make sure we had a backup plan for weather and power sources on top of that. She thought of everything and really put me at ease even when we had to change things based on the weather the week of the wedding. She even went out of her way to track down umbrellas for us a few days before the wedding. The original reason we wanted to get a coordinator was so that we could enjoy the day and so no one, including family, would have to stress about making the day go smoothly. Lois did just that and truly made it the best day we could've imagined. Thank you so much Lois!

We just had our wedding in Hood River 9/11/2021 and J29 events was the masterful hand behind our experience. Our lead wedding planner was Sabrina Peters and I have nothing to say but accolades. I got complete package and I couldn't have been happier. It was worth every penny. Sabrina over the last year has been nothing short of amazing, arranging meetings, securing vendors, and just dealing with my personal stress. Our wedding day and rehearsal was flawless due to Sabrina and Shauna. I give them my highest praise and would recommend them to anyone. They also took me as a client after I had to let my first wedding planner go due to non responsiveness and lack of initiative. These guys are the real deal and am forever indebted to them for making our day timeless and unforgettable. You are crazy if you don't hire them.

Sabrina was an absolute godsend. From the perspective of the groom, I could have not asked for a more thoughtful and attentive wedding planner. She is delightful to work with and we are privileged to have had her plan our wedding. Everything went super well, I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. 125-ish in attendance during a pandemic with constantly changing regulations and mandates; Sabrina masterfully helped us navigate every aspect. She made the entire planning process a breeze. She was thorough and detailed with her correspondence, through email, text, and conference calls. -Our conference calls were always a delight and a relief as we were able to easily cross off many items off our list. My now wife and I have very different styles of communicating and planning. Sabrina was very flexible and attentive between us; both calling/texting with our joint and individual concerns. The preparatory documents that Sabrina produced the week before were very detailed and wicked thorough. Leading up to the event, I was confident that we would have a beautiful and well executed wedding. The event: Sabrina adeptly orchestrated the setup process with all the vendors with authority and grace. I felt well shepherded throughout the rehearsal dinner and wedding. The rehearsal was very smooth and efficient. Sabrina’s expertise really shined while setting us all up. From a groom’s standpoint. She’s awesome. I cannot recommend her enough. For all she did for us, my wife and I consider her a member of our family. Sabrina, thank you for all that you do, you do it well.

I was J29's first COVID wedding in October 2020. They did an amazing job and that is an understatement. I honestly believe that their involvement is why my wedding day went so flawless. I got the Month of Planner package, and it was the best money I spent, even my husband agrees. Both Shauna and Sabrina were in constant contact with me making sure I was aware of all the daily changes and requirements having to do with COVID, as well as keeping me on task as a bride to ensure my vision was being executed. J29 went above and beyond with making sure to pick up the ball where my venue had dropped it. They were proactive with informing my venue of the regulations as they changed. J29 really wanted to make sure I got the wedding I wanted even in the midst of a global pandemic. There is just so much that this team did that I have to list it: I live out of state and they were able to tour my venue for me therefore saving me a long road trip, went to the store when I forgot pins for my runner, made sure the venue was following CDC guidelines, kept in contact with the mayor's office to try and get ahead of any changes that would affect my wedding day, helped me change my shoes in the middle of the wedding, decorated the venue while I got ready and I didn't have to find friends and family to help, suggested great vendors, dealt with all of my vendor drama, read all my contracts and highlighted the important items I may have missed, stayed with me until I walked down the aisle and kept a positive environment. The biggest saving grace was their ability to assist my venue, my venue was just so lost and had no clue. J29 stepped up and really got them together and they worked hard with having 2 to 3 a day communications with my venue 3 months out. J29 was just so amazing and is the best planner I could have asked for. Thank you, Shauna and Sabrina.

Our experience with J29, specifically Shauna, was an absolute dream. Shauna & her entire team were an incredible group that helped and guided us through every step of our planning process. From the first meeting to the final hours of our amazing weekend, Shauna was a wonderful friend, guide and planner. We had no idea what it took to plan a wedding and we only had a 9 month time frame to work with but no detail was left unresolved. Shauna not only took the lead on so many stressful situations but she took our general ideas and turned them into reality. It felt like having a whole team of friends who were there no matter what we might need. J29 events did an unbelievably amazing job planning/coordinating our wedding. We worked with Sabrina at J29. Sabrina was amazing at communicating with us every step of the way, hyper organized, and insanely creative during our wedding planning process. Sabrina listened to our wedding vision and worked EXTREMELY HARD to ensure we were satisfied with every single detail. We told Sabrina we wanted a 1970s meets Wes Anderson vibe and as bizarre as that sounds she nailed it. She was also cognizant of our budget and extremely savvy with how to allocate $ for every element of our wedding. Sabrina and her J29 team are also very well connected to other event vendors (caterers, djs/bands, florals, rentals, bar services, etc) and curated the most amazing team of vendors for our wedding day. Sabrina and her J29 team executed the actual wedding so flawlessly without any hiccups. We had about 150 guests and many of them followed up with my husband and I to let us know it was the most beautiful and most smoothly run wedding they had ever been to (and some of these people have been to lots and lots of weddings). People also told us the wedding really reflected who my husband and I are and felt very personal. We have Sabrina and J29 to thank for working so hard to make our wedding a wildly awesome day. We are forever grateful to Sabrina and her J29 team. The J29 planning fees are so reasonable for the bespoke planning services they provide & was worth every penny. I have also seen photos of other events J29 has planned and they can accomodate a wide range of styles.

Sabrina at J29 is an absolute DREAM to work with!! It's hard to even put into words how thankful l am that I had her help, expertise, and friendship leading up to, at, and even after our wedding day. Knowing the challenges of being out of state for basically the entire process, we felt we were in capable hands from the first consultation with Shauna. J29 were able to help realize our vision particularly through vendor recommendations/coordination, design ideas, general wedding advice, and putting everything together. Their online organization tool is very thorough and detailed enough for the most meticulous of planners. Sabrina was amazing during my best friends wedding despite many last minute obstacles the day of. From leading the rehearsal/dinner evening to seeing through every detail the day of I felt reassured knowing Sabrina was in charge. She stayed late rehearsal evening assisting the venue in set up of a last minute tent needed due to weather. She was there first thing in the AM and literally running around the whole day of the wedding while always coming in cool and calm when needing to address the bride. We had several meetings leading up to the wedding where we talked through all the details. As a bridesmaid in one of my best friends weddings this weekend in Hood River, I was able to watch Sabrina handle every wild situation that came our way with such professionalism. My husband and I used J29 events as our day of coordinator for our wedding this August. Although we only hired them as a day of coordinator they did so much more for us! Shauna was extremely helpful through the whole planning process, I felt comfortable reaching out to her for vendor recommendations as well as general wedding planning questions. I’m an extremely detail oriented person so it was so nice to have every little detail written out prior to the wedding. Sabrina was present for our walk through as well as our wedding day. I truly could not have gotten through the weekend with out her. The walk through went so smoothly and brought us so much confidence going into our big day! Sabrina and her assistant were first to the venue, where they set up everything, exactly how I visualized. The ceremony and events to follow went so smoothly. Sabrina kept the night going according to our timeline with out putting any extra stress on us. We both felt like we could sit back and truly enjoy our wedding day! J29 was integral to our wedding being pretty much perfection. Shauna is fantastic, as was Liz, our day of coordinator. Everything went so smoothly - we had a small backyard wedding. Initially, we were on the fence about hiring an even coordinator, but it was single handedly the best decision we made. They helped us prepare and think of things that we never would have considered. I don’t even know where to begin! Having Sabrina as our wedding planner was the number one best decision we made for our whole wedding. The amount of things that went wrong (weather, shuttles, venue issues, etc) or needed changed on day of was insane. As the bride I obviously was freaking out a bit at times and Sabrina came up with quick and amazing solutions every single time. And also helped calm me down and assure me that I was not totally insane for being upset haha. The wedding ended up being amazing and it would NOT have turned out that way without her. Sabrina went above and beyond her expected duties as our wedding planner and I honestly don’t think another person or team would care that much (I know from personal experience of accidentally hiring a different company who was doing a terrible job before switching to Sabrina and J29). Even leading up the wedding for an entire year Sabrina was amazing to work with. Every single one of our calls ended up running way longer than expected as we got caught up in planning all the perfect little details. I can honestly say I am sad the wedding is over and our frequent zoom calls are done. It was such a joy to plan and chat. We hired J29 for day of coordination, and Shauna and Sabrina helped us pull off a seamless wedding. We literally could not imagine going through this process with anyone else. We postponed due to covid, so over the last 2 years Shauna has been an integral part of our lives - helping us with so many steps of the planning process that we didn’t even know existed. Her services more than paid for themselves longggg before we walked down the aisle, and we didn’t have to worry about anything on our special day. I’ll first say this - for 2 years, even though our wedding went from being 12 months out to a year and a half out, we were always fully accommodated. Time was always made for us to check in. All of our questions and requests for recommendations, etc. were met, and Shauna took the time to get to know *us* as individuals which made all the difference when it came to the actual wedding day. She was able to recommend rentals that were SO our style that I would have never found on my own. She offered honest opinions and advice about layout and decor. By the time the wedding was rapidly approaching and we were getting all of the final details together, I was able to tell her “this is what I’m thinking, but I trust your judgement to make the final call”. And I did, and it came together better than I could have imagined. I could go on and on about how Shauna brought a nurturing sense of calm, friendship, and professionalism into our big day forever. By the week of the wedding I was spread so thin, and she took care of everything with my other vendors, little details when it came to my guest list and seating chart, and definitely a million other details I’ve never even thought of. She was helpful to not only my husband and I on our wedding day - making sure we ate and got to spend time enjoying everything we had put together - but also juggled all of our family and friends coming to her as well. I really can’t imagine going through this process with anybody else. Shauna clearly knows the wedding industry inside and out, and the proof is in the pudding when everything goes off not only smoothly, but magically. Everybody always tells future brides about how “hectic” the wedding day is, and how there is “no time” to enjoy, etc. etc., but Shauna ensures that that’s not the case. I honestly get emotional reminiscing about how supported we were throughout the ENTIRE process, and would do it all over again with Shauna and not change a thing!

She handled all of our day of coordination and setup/design of our wedding. She helped me feel at ease when the wedding stress really got to me (which it inevitably always does!). The best part about working with J29 and her team is that they felt like friends. I felt so comfortable talking with her candidly about anything and she was always willing to give me honest opinions about costs of things and the design. She handled everything with such ease. I can't recommend her and her team enough. I don't know what I would have done without her!

I can't praise J29 enough for their amazing work. I've had the pleasure of working with their team (and especially Sabrina!) on multiple occasions, and each time my experience has been absolutely flawless. Shauna is the best in the industry, and it’s for reasons far past the usual expectations. She is, of course, as creative, resourceful, organized, diligent and professional as you would expect. But she is also as genuine as they come. She truly cared about our love story and she was a friend during a very stressful process. My husband and I got married in Trinidad, CA on August 18th of this year. We booked Shauna for our day of wedding planner - but she was much more than that. We planned our wedding from out of state (in WA). I grew up in Northern California and my parents still live there, but Shauna was a huge guide to us even though we had family in the area. She helped us with all the details till the day of the wedding and was our SAVIOR on the day of. She kept everything on time for the ceremony and all the events of the reception. She made sure vendors were where they needed to be and on time. I think I told her 10+ times that I was so happy she was there on the day/night of the wedding. My husband nearly cut the tip of his finger off before the ceremony (she glued it up), my brother who was a groomsman ripped his pants 5 minutes before the wedding and she had everything needed to get us through the ceremony, and she even gave us her ring during the ceremony as our best man misplaced our rings. My MOH and I continue to rave about her to this day, she even made my MOH consider wedding planning because she is so impressive. Not only is she really great at her job, but she is a very genuine person. I highly, highly recommend J29 events for anyone considering help with wedding planning.

A fantastic experience. Ema ran us through our rehearsals the night before, and clearly had done her homework on the plans for marching music and ceremony. The next day I learned what wedding-day coordinators do -- because I didn't have to do ANYTHING. Ema and her assistant figured out how to assemble a chuppah, put all decorations in place before anyone got there, signaled our procession from behind the scenes, and so much more. At the end, by the time we were finishing up dancing, everything was already in boxes! Later, Ema and her boss advised me with a problem I had with the venue. It was worth every penny.
