Thank you to the entire Union Trust team for making our August 2021 wedding reception absolutely incredible. Our coordinator, Stacey, was always available and answered our (many) questions as we navigated wedding planning during a pandemic. From day one, she was kind and always on top of things. Thomas was the most professional and knowledgeable maitre d - he has such attention to detail and had everything under control. Lisa, our bridal attendant, was an absolute angel and made sure we were taken care of at every moment. Our guests are still raving about the staff, the venue, and the food of course! The Finley catering team truly is “simply the best”! I wish we could get married there every weekend!! (Photography by Liz Andolina)

5 Star only because there is no 6. Thomas and the team made sure that everything was perfect for my daughter and Son-in-law on their wedding. The gorgeous venue was warm and welcoming and it was bettered only by the people who attended to all of the guests. Food was awesome.

I don’t even know where to begin. The team at union trust (Finley catering) throw the best weddings you will ever have or attend. From the start, Michelle answered every single email within hours. I don’t think more than 24 hours passed without a response, and I’m sure she gets asked the same questions over and over. Not once did we feel we weren’t being heard or were being annoying. Then, the week of we worked with Thomas who ensured every single detail was attended to and the only thing we had to worry about was having a good time. KAYLA!! Omg she was so helpful as a bridal attendant. I had a big group of girls getting ready in the gorgeous bridal suite and since some of them were hungry she had the chef bring us chicken fingers and French fries. I honestly don’t think I could say enough nice things about the team. The venue, the food, it’s magical. No pictures due this venue justice and while we are so so sad our special day is over, we have 0 regrets with this venue. Everybody is still telling us how amazing the food and staff were from start to finish. I truly hope I can attend a wedding here some day because everything was just perfect. Thank you for the wedding of our dreams xx

We had our wedding at Union Trust in mid September 2021 and it was an amazing experience! The staff at Finley has set up a new standard of service for us and for many of our guests! Food was absolutely amazing, timing and coordination of all events was on spot. We have rented their bridal suite to get ready in and that was the best decision we could have made! We also chose to go for the after party option; another great choice! We have toured many venues in the city and I cannot be happier with our choice! Now, near a month later, our guests are still talking about the awesome food they had and how magic was the wedding! And the pictures.. you cannot find another place to make pictures this epic!

We celebrated my son & daughter-in-laws wedding this past weekend at Union Trust. It was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect. The food was super delicious with top quality ingredients & the presentation was amazing. Thank you Finley Catering Co!!! Thomas was simply amazing managing the venue during the rehearsal and the wedding. As soon as I arrived at the cocktail hour Thomas came right over to offer me a cocktail. He was great covering every little detail.😊 The entire wedding was beyond spectacular. To say that the Union Trust is grand is entirely an understatement. Steeped in elegance from bygone eras, guests enter under a canopy of architectural wonder featuring sixty-five foot illuminated and engraved ceiling that stretches out above the curved, archway windows. Surrounding the room is a mezzanine that provides outstanding views of the space, as well as a fun spot for creating candid and portraits.

Such a unique and gorgeous venue! Brooke and Thomas were incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating. They made the day everything we wanted and more. Finley Catering has the BEST wedding food you will ever have! Highly recommend.

I wanted to update my review with more detail. The venue space is beautiful without a doubt, however it is quite cramped for 150 people. The cocktail hour takes place upstairs overlooking the actual dining area. The quality of the food was very good, service both by the waiters and the bar staff was quick—no complaints. However, the cocktail was very cramped, not enough seats and you had to maneuver through a sea of people to get from the small food station to the bar area. A lot of people were randomly standing and eating without anywhere to sit or even lean against. Downstairs the setup of the actual reception area was beautiful. The most disappointing aspect was the quality of the plates. Disgusting dollar tree gold plates which were scratched and broken were placed beneath the dishes. The were removed before the soup was served, which was plated in a diner cup— literally the type of cups served in diners, found at restaurant depot. I was shocked, that an upscale venue would use cheap plates and diner quality soup cups. It got even worse that the plates are bread and food were served on were all cracked. The first thing I noticed as a guest— and it was just a shame. Another tidbit was the bathrooms, 2 stalls on the first floor and the second bathroom was upstairs near the cocktail hour— that caused a bit of a headache.. and the small size of the dance floor.. my laundry room is bigger. Overall, I attended a beautiful wedding but I’m not going to recommend this place to any engaged couples with guest list over 100 people.

Attended a wedding here. Staff was great. Food was done really well. It was a quaint setting with the original architecture. The wedding used upstairs and downstairs. I would book this place for a wedding reception for sure. There is a parking lot adjacent but if you are staying at like the Marriott or Lowes, 6 minute walk.

We went for new years eve and it was fun. Lots of food throughout the night but the bar setup was annoying. Felt we spent most of the night waiting in bar lines but what can you do. I would come back for a real dinner.

Great facility! We went to a wedding/ reception and everything was just wonderful. From the signature drinks, the string quartet to the food. The filet was cooked perfectly, like butter. The tortellini was phenomenal. A drink was spilled on my leg, but Timothy, the Maitre'd, took care of everything, offering to have my clothes dry cleaned. Really went above and beyond.

Attended a wedding there, and it was a perfect place to have it. The building is spacious and pristine. They provided free parking in the adjacent parking lot. The food and the dj were both excellent. A five-star experience for sure!

We had our daughter’s wedding at Union Trust this past weekend and everything was great, with a few exceptions. The venue is beautiful and the staff did a great job. Most of the food was excellent, except the filet was so overcooked it was not edible. Multiple people who ordered the filet either sent it back for a different entree or didn’t eat it. We were very disappointed by this. The other issue had to do with the bar. We gave them two specific drink recipes so they could make two cocktails to our liking. One was a margarita and other was a specific martini. Both drinks were nothing close to the recipe we had given and were basically undrinkable. Fortunately everything else was awesome and we all still had a great time. My recommendation if you’re booking this venue is to not include steak as one of your entrees.

It is hard to put into words how amazing our recent wedding was at Union Trust. From the planning process - even after having to postpone due to COVID - to the wedding day itself, not one single thing went wrong and it was truly the wedding of our dreams. Michelle was our coordinator, and she made the entire planning process seamless and FUN! She is so professional, personable, kind, organized, responsive - the list goes on. There was never a question we had that went unanswered. She was so amazing when we had to postpone, easing every concern and worry we had during what was such a crazy year for her, the business, and the entire wedding industry. The day of the wedding, she was there and helped so much - from fluffing my dress before walking down the aisle to bustling my dress after the ceremony, to pouring my espresso martini into a wine glass so I didn't spill - there was no detail she wasn't involved in or willing to help with. The rest of the staff at Union Trust was equally as amazing - especially the Maitre D', Thomas. He is truly an expert on making a wedding run smoothly, and made the entire event a seamless experience for us and our guests. I truly felt like we didn't have to worry about a single thing, and I was right - Thomas handled everything and made everything flow beautifully. The rest of the staff, including the bridal attendant we had, made our day even more special, making sure we always had a drink in our hand without having to leave the dance floor or stop mingling with our guests, checking on us throughout the night without being overbearing just so we knew where to find them if we ever needed anything - they could not have been nicer, more professional, or more accomodating. We have not stopped raving about how amazing everything was since our wedding day, and have heard the same sentiments from our friends and family. It was an amazing day that we will never forget!

We had our wedding at Union Trust on 12/3/16 and WOW, it was the most perfect day! Right from the beginning- Stacey, the wedding coordinator, was so easy to work with. She was professional, responsive, and offered suggestions throughout the whole planning process. The tasting they offer was very delicious and helped us narrow down our food ideas. On the day of, Stacey and her team put together an amazing day. Everything was set up exactly the way we wanted and our timeline was respected, so we had plenty of time to dance. There was delicious food galore! Thomas, the Maitre d’, and Lisa, the bridal attendant, made sure the wedding party was taken care of before and during the reception. Lisa helped figure out my bustle, which saved the night! I also have a dietary restriction and they accommodated me with no problem. I even had my own special bread. The venue itself is GORGEOUS! Our guests still are commenting how beautiful the venue was and how much they enjoyed the food!

Daughter's wedding; 4th of July 2015. Greatest experience ever! Everyone still raves about the venue, food and service. The wedding coordinators were fantastic and the staff was terrific. Everyone couldn't have been more friendly and helpful in anticipating every need. Owner and staff helped at every point and supported every request. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the experience of a lifetime!

We attended a wedding there last night, and although we had a great time, there are things you need ro.know before booking this. Food was good, service was decent, but the layout of this venue leaves alot to be desired. The wedding ceremony was on the first floor as you enter. Then cocktail hour was upstairs on the mezzanine. This was also a bit of an odd layout as it was so corridorlike. With tables sdded along the wall, that left even less space to move. Big jam ups at the bar didn't hel.p They needed 1 full bar set ups at each end. Wedding ceremony set up was broken down and then reset for dinner. There were about 160 guests there last night, and with 16 tables for 10, it was very tight. Getting up to go to the bar and dance was a challenge to get through. Also, the DJ kept everything moving but the acoustics during the ceremony and reception were not great. Lots of reverberation and echoing. We couldn't really hear the ceremony and forget conversing at dinner. A comfortable my number for this venue would be about 120 max. Their web site says 190, but unless there's a whole other room, that's way too many people. Again, we had a great time but a lower number would help. A big plus was next door asking.

Great server's really help make a great meal. Our waiter Kevin had a good mix of knowledge about the menu and some jokes to keep the atmosphere light. Even if we did have bad service, (which we didn't) the steak is the best in Philly and despite the price tag I always leave feeling fat and happy.

wow talk about over priced! appropriate that it's in an old bank building because you'll need to bring your fortune with you to eat here. the food is good but you can get it's equal (or better) at dozens of other places in and around town. i guess this was planned before the recession. only health care lobbiests and insurance executives can afford to eat here and host a politician now days!
