We have nothing but good things to say about this sweet venue spot! The ladies we worked with to book were very quick to get back to us and always willing to answer all of my questions. They set up the tables, chairs and table clothes just as we had asked and envisioned, making our wedding after party just perfect. The venue is gorgeous with the exposed brick, a big enough space for about 50 but doesn't feel super congested at all! Made things so intimate for us. There is a bathroom which was super clean and spacious, a kitchen with a fridge and sink for whatever you need to store. It was sadly a bit chilly outside so we mostly stayed indoors but the outside looked amazing for better weather! So spacious. We were able to park at the church very close with no trouble. There was heat lamps on the side that some friends enjoyed! I was so thankfully to have found this gem of a spot. 10/10 recommend.

We had such a wonderful time here! We did a couples paint night and it was amazing, we had room to display food, we gathered about 40 people and we all fit comfortably. The staff was amazing and helping us navigate through what we were looking for as far as seating arrangements and tables as well as linens. The outdoors was a hit! The giant Jenga was amazing! The lights made a beautiful backdrop for pics as well as the outdoor heaters and seating, just a very homey experience.

We just used The Olie for our wedding reception and it was absolutely wonderful. Candice and K.J. were a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. They happily answered my questions and were so helpful. The Olie is not only adorable but comes with many great amenities. Our guests LOVED the outdoor patio games. We will definitely use The Olie again when we have a special occasion to host.

My experience with The Olie Gathering Place, Candice, and Krisjohna has been utterly amazing. My questions (and I had a quite a few when planning our wedding) were answered quickly and professionally. The space itself required little decoration - it offered so much character! Our guests loved the space. It was perfect for our 40 person ceremony and reception. I enjoyed and appreciated the outdoor seating. This allowed guests to break into groups. The amenities offered are perfect for the space. I adore all the thoughtful upgrades that keep happening to the space. The support you have during planning is relieving. Set-up/break-down is all taken care of for you. During the festivities, I knew I had support if needed, but there was no worry on check out/check-in procedures. Everything was better than expected. To add to this, guests were in a perfect location to other special places OKC has to offer. We would choose The Olie Gathering Place over and over again for our wedding venue. Of course, we will come back for other planned events as well :)

We used Olie Gsthering Place as a location for the launch party of our new business, EXHALE. Scheduling was very easy, staff were responsive, and the venu was delightful. The staff helped to ensure everything was set up as we wanted. The location guide was a great help and even gave us links to get insurance and catering for the event. We happily recommend this location for any small event or party. It won't disappoint!

My family and I had an awesome time at The Olie Gathering Place! The venue was beautiful, many photo opportunities indoors and outdoors. It was almost 100 degrees that day, but we were very comfortable with their nice air system. The location was easy to find for our family and friends, great parking opportunities. It was the perfect size for our event! I am an event planner and will be using this venue for more of my events!

Beautiful venue with everything you could need for your event. Communication with the staff was clear and rules were thorough. I was so happy to invite my friends into this space. We had a lot of fun indoors and I wish we would have had more time so we could have hung out outside too. Maybe next time!

BOOK IT!!! We had such a great experience. The venue is gorgeous and we had so many guests fall in love with the space (just as we did from the moment we walked in for our tour). The team is fantastic and are so easy to communicate with. They have thought of everything and have organized the process to make it effortless on your end. The added outdoor amenities are beautiful and so well thought out. We will definitely be booking future events with The Olie.

I hosted a wedding reception at the Olie for a group of about 50 people. The whole experience was really fantastic. The space was perfect for my group size. The AC kept the place cool in the summer heat, and the historic building added a lot of style and culture to our celebration. I really appreciated the helpfulness of the staff and all of the options they provided us for the event. They had resources for catering, alcohol, and other vendors available if needed. It to mention, they had one of the more reasonable rates compared to other venues in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend this space for small gatherings.

We have had two gatherings here and can’t imagine using anywhere else. My mom’s 80th birthday was fancy and the work Christmas party not so much. It was perfect for both. It is definitely a 10!

We recently had a Casino themed 50th Birthday party at Olie Gathering Place. We couldn't have been happier with the venue and it accommodated everyone nicely. Everything was ready when we got there and the Owner down to the staff did a tremendous job making our day special. Really a fantastic space for your next event.

The Olie did a great job hosting our company kickoff event! The place was clean and obviously well-equipped to host any event, with outdoor heaters, ice machine, and outdoor games. This is actually the second year in a row we've hosted this event with The Olie and we really appreciate their space and client service!

I had my 16th birthday party here in February, 2023, and they did such a good job at communicating, answering questions, keeping me updated, being super flexible, and just being great hosts. Cozy indoor and outdoor event center perfect for anniversaries, surprise party, family gathering and more! Decore was neutral inside and out and the out door patio was beautiful it had outdoor lighting and games Handicap accessible and food trucks are welcomed

We had a great time at the venue! We scheduled a food truck to come and they were able to get hooked up and ready before the party started. The space is perfect for 50 guest and there’s plenty of room in the outside area for kids to roam around or guest to sit! There are a few space heaters outside and they work wonderfully if it’s chilly. We made sure to clean up well at the end and were able to get the deposit about. Very happy with this venue and will use them again in the future. Also, extremely kind and professional staff. Thanks!!

The Olie was the perfect place to hold a bridal shower luncheon. The kitchen with the deep wash basin was the perfect amenity for our event. The staff here are so kind and helpful! It took a lot of weight off our shoulders having the tables with the linens and chairs already placed before we arrived. The ambiance is just so cute! This would be a great place to host any small or medium sized event!

We LOVED the Olie! I hosted my brothers Rehearsal dinner there and was SO IMPRESSED with the venue and Candice was absolutely awesome to work with, she made everything so easy! I recommend this venue to anyone, the fenced in outside area was our favorite, gives kids a place to run and play, and makes it feel very secluded even though you're very close to a busy street you would never know! we will definitely use The Olie again!

I cannot sing the praises of The Olie enough! We hosted a Casino Night party, and the ladies who run the event center were wonderful. The venue is fantastic, and we got tons of compliments. The process of renting + hosting is smooth, and the venue has tons to offer with a wonderful aesthetic to boot. We love The Olie and will certainly be renting again!

Complete Service

I was hired to do a complex project for Candice to add a shaded pergola and patio door for this beautiful event center. From the beginning she pushed us to do the best things for her clients. She was always coordinating our construction to try to eliminate any inconvenience to her clients. Through this frustrating process she always maintained the value to the current customer while trying to expand her dream for future customers. Candice has a beautiful place and big beautiful dreams! I am truly impressed with her eye to detail and commitment to satisfying her clients! No one will work harder than her to make your event perfect!

We celebrated my husband’s surprise 50th birthday party here. The venue is a DREAM! Our event was held late afternoon into the evening and I can’t express how beautiful the outside is in the dark with the light wrapped trees. The patio games were an added bonus! We liked that we could utilize both indoor/outdoor spaces versus being confined to just one option as with most other venues. The modern/industrial vibe and exposed brick inside was so beautiful already we elected to keep our own decor minimal. The speaker system and two tv’s were absolutely perfect for us being able to present a slideshow during our event. The process of booking was seamless and the team was extremely quick at getting back to any questions we had via email/phone. I would highly recommend this space to anyone looking to host an event. It will definitely be our go to in the future!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Olie on 12.11.2021 and it was truly PERFECT! Candice, Dan and the rest of the team were amazing to work with and always responded in a timely fashion to any questions we had. The indoor and outdoor spaces are so unique and perfect for an intimate event. They even had outdoor heaters that worked well and helped keep our guests comfortable. If you're looking for a rare gem in the heart of OKC to hold a special event, this is the place for you!

Today, I had my first meeting at The Allie Gathering place. I was very impressed with the space and the layout. Although it was chilly outside the patio looked like a great space as well. If your looking for a small space for any type of get together I would highly recommend this venue. Being an electrician it’s fascinating to me knowing the history of the building as well.

If you are looking for a cool little spot for a baby shower or birthday or even just a small gathering this is the place. We had a baby shower here for my daughter. Do to things outside of our control we had to make some changes to who would actually host it. The owner was completely help full swapped everything around and helped us out of life's pinch. The places was perfect. Just enough room on the inside. Never really used the outside but it was nice with the chairs and shade. Truly recommend this place for the small things you have a special party for. Way better then trying to book a conference room at a hotel. Thank you again ma'am.

The space is bright, clean, and simply a perfect place for personal or business needs. The Olie team members are kind and go above and beyond to make sure all needs are taken care of. Nice place for a small gathering. I asked if I could use flower petals in my ceremony prior to the wedding and they said it was Okay but afterwards I was charged $100 for the flower petals. Also beware that all the decor is permanent and cannot be removed even though it doesn’t say that anywhere.

Had such a great time in this venue. Adorable spaces inside and out, some yard games that come with, and they left us a cute picture wall for use. Fenced in parking available at Dove Academy right behind it. Felt safe in the space.

Very cool and quaint meet up location. Has A/V hookups for a laptop or like device that has a HDMI out. The area looks a bit rough albeit, everything here looks out of place because it’s so nice haha.
