Villa Russo is a beautiful venue for a baby shower! Planning any party long distance is challenging. Thanks to Kim the banquet manager, it really was perfect. The service was excellent. The Russo family are amazing to work with on any celebration. The food amazing! The price is great.

I just had my wedding here on Sunday June 26, 2022. We had a fairytale themed wedding that I've been dreaming about since I was 5 years old. & Villa Russo supplied me with the wedding of my dreams for a fraction of the cost. When my now husband and I came to Villa Russo and sat down with one of the banquet managers, we couldn't believe the prices we were hearing for such as a beautiful and classy venue. It really looks like a castle inside. The food was met with RAVE reviews by our guests, and we also got our cake with them which was very beautiful and tasty. They gave us the top layer to take home. Our maitre'd was George, who was so helpful and gracious to us during the event. We hired MUSICFLEX, a DJ group that has been working with Villa Russo for 20+ years, they work so well together, so I highly suggest booking them if you are to book with Villa Russo. Thank you so much to everyone at the Villa Russo for making our dream a possibility. I would highly recommend the venue to anyone looking to book for any special event.

My event was everything the staff was amazing just had one problem they booked people for appointments during my event and people were walking through my event making me and my guess very uncomfortable. And when I call to speak to Kim she said well we are business so we still have to conduct business wow very rude and this was after 8pm I wanted to speak to the person who I originally booked with her name is Donna but every time I ask about her they saying she won't be in for the rest of the week my gut feeling is telling me that she's no longer there go figure!! Not happy with the out come on how I was treated 😞 .

I just had my husbands 60th birthday party last week at Villa Russo and I had such as good time as well as my family did and all of my guests they enjoyed the food, music, and the atmosphere of the venue was good because it felt very relaxing and calm and I didn’t need to worry about a lot because everything was handled by the servers and everyone else working there that night and we had so much help from our planner Donna she really knows how to plan a party she did so much for us throughout this process and I was very happy about the outcome of everything also I wanted to thank my DJ Derrick he works with make you dance and he played some very good music and he kept the party going all night long but I appreciate everyone who did everything on the day of the party it was something I will never forget

Great food, amazing hospitality. Villa Russo staff are organized professionals who definitely know how to execute a fantastic event. The stone exterior sets it apart before even stepping foot inside. The decor has an old-world feel without being dated (personally, I did not care for all the faux flowers around the fireplace, but that is the ONLY criticism I have). I highly recommend this venue.

Villa Russo was amazing. From the very beginning Donna and Kim were on our side, they went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. We connected with Donna right from the beginning, she met and talked with us weekly to make sure every detail was perfect. Donna went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted. The owner George and his son made sure to come ask how we were doing every time we stopped by. The Maitre d Eric was on point, he took care of everyone and made our day perfect. We were extremely happy with villa Russo and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they have been too. The food was top notch, we received so many compliments from our guests. This is my 3rd time using villa russo. 25 years ago for my own wedding, 6 years ago for my oldest daughter's sweet 16 and just 2 weeks ago for my youngest sweet 16. They are like fine wine and get absolutely better with age. Donna is amazing with all your prep needs she is attentive and such a pleasure to work with. Kim is just as great she helped with last minute decisions with all her previous experience. Amrit helped me day of when I was dropping off all my decorations (that they did for me). Eric the maitre d for us was OUT OF THIS WORLD. He was attentive and helped us throughout the entire party. The party staff is amazing, the kitchen staff is just as great especially Anthony who helped me fix my last minute cake. And let's not leave out George Russo, this gentleman is such a professional and humble human being. I CANNOT wait for our next event at VILLA RUSSO.

I booked the Gratto room at Villa Russo in September of 2019 with Donna for my small 100 guests reception. Covid happened and I had to postpone my wedding, not once but twice! Not only did Donna accommodate our change, twice, Villa Russo did not increase our prices, thank God! I worked with Donna for over two years and she was amazing. I made so many changes, added extra time to my event etc and she worked with me and accommodated us each and every time. A few weeks before our event we got upgraded to the Palace Room since there wasn't an event going on in there on the day of our reception and it was magical. I couldn't thank Donna enough for all the work and effort she put into our day to make it as special and amazing as it was. I highly recommend booking your event at Villa Russo, their prices are unbeatable and their staff is amazing as well.

In 2019 I met with a Villa Russo event consultant who generously gave me a tour of their salons. We decided that the more lavish Palace Room was perfect for my mother's retirement bash. Marble floors, floral stain glass windows, every corner of the room is photo-ready. My family was looking forward to it. The COVID-19 pandemic shut businesses down, and Villa Russo was no exception. Management took CDC regulations very seriously and took every measure to protect their clients and staff. Members of my family, like so many others in Queens, NY, were affected by the difficulties of the pandemic. Villa Russo staff was very attentive and accommodating changing the date, adjusting the budget, and ultimately when we decided to cancel, returning our deposit. Retirement parties bring together families and friends of varying ages. We decided to cancel due to pressing financial concerns and keep everyone safe. We look forward to the prospect of having a party at Villa Russo in the future!

I got married at Villa Russo‘s around 12 years ago. At the time we got married we visited and wedding expo and the owner, George Russo happen to be presenting at the expo. He said when you get married at Villa Russo they consider you family. Every year since I’ve been married I called Villa Russo to get a small replica of my wedding cake. Eventually they got sort of sick of me requesting this cake! I ended up leaving a long email for George Russo reminding him of his promise at the wedding expo! He called me personally and arranged for me to have my cake every year! It’s the highlight of our anniversary! It taste exactly the same as it did on my wedding day. This is the sort of service that sets Villa Russo‘s apart from other venues.

Villa Russo is a neighborhood gem, especially during these hard times. I had my 8th-grade prom here years ago and still remember how beautiful everything was. I had planned to have my wedding here in January of 2021 and unfortunately, due to indoor dining being closed, my wedding was canceled. I celebrated my daughter's 25th birthday at this place not too long ago. I was very impressed with the level of service received by some of the staff members. Roy and the other two gentlemen who worked with him that night were amazing. Even the owner stopped by to check on us. The only two negative comments i have, they are a little too pricey and the food could've been better. Other than those two things, great place to host any types of events.

I had my wedding here at villa Russo in the party room on October 30th 2020 and had a great experience! Originally I was supposed to have my wedding elsewhere but unfortunately due to the pandemic there was a change of plans last minute. So my mom contacted villa Russo and came in contact with Donna. Donna was very accommodating from beginning to end. Although everything was last minute she made it happen! Donna was very thorough, polite & she made sure we were able to get married at the date we set and mind you it was a week before the event. She worked around our budget and made sure it was going to be beautiful! The day of the event we had Erick and he made sure everything went smooth. Our guest had a great time. We will definitely book an event with villa Russo again.

As promised, 5 stars. All in all, this is a nice place. Me and my wife loved the place and our package. We even moved the wedding up with word of things returning to normal but unfortunately things didn’t happen as planned. Flash forward, despite our efforts to make it work, the place still remained closed and we got a partial refund. Would recommend it this place in the future once things are up and running

I had booked a 50th Birthday party where it had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. I was in contact with Kim, who I dealt with, and though frustrating at times, waiting to get my deposit refunded, she always replied to my emails and returned my calls always with a calm, considerate and professional manner. I was asked to bear with them until they opened up for business again. I did just that, being understanding how we were ALL going through tough times. The wait paid off!!! I recieved a call from Mr. Russo himself who assured me that the deposit will be refunded. A few weeks later I recieved the check. I was very much looking forward to celebrate my big 50 at Villa Russo, as I fell in love with the room as soon as I saw it. I will definitely come back should I need a venue for any celebration and will recommend to my friends. Thank you again Kim for your professionalism and knowledge of putting a function together. This is where I got married and had my wedding reception. They were all amazing the only thing that I didnt like was the fact that they didnt have everything that we asked for on our menu. And secondly we were supposed to get a three tier layer cake and got a two layer cake. Not good business like. At least let us know that we couldn't get everything.

We had a small gathering for a sweet 16 dinner. The food was ok. The waiters were very attentive. Penne a la vodka was really good as were some of the other appetizers. Main entree was on the small side. I had salmon. It was on the fatty side and just ok. Others had steak and I got similar feedback of it being just ok. The coffee tasted like bitter poison. It seems like they brew their new coffee and not clean out the old coffee grains. Bad coffee and everyone agreed.

I had both my wedding ceremony/reception here on August 4, 2018. Ceremony took place in the grotto roon downstairs and reception in the palace room. All my guest enjoyed the food, very delicious. They also did a great job with my cake. One thing I would recommend is an elevator and ramp for elderly and disabled. My stepmom fell down the stairs and she got hurt. I also had a cousin from England who uses a walker and 3 of my relatives had to assist her downstairs. Other than that everything else was on point. Bathroom was very clean. Would have other events there in the future.

I will say.... this place is above and superb. From the moment I walked in to the door, the staff made this wedding a pleasant experience for me. Victoria C. was my coordinator. She made sure she went out her way to make this the best day any woman can ever have!!! My husband and I truly loved her. She was supportive, professional and truly an amazing person. The same for Betsy H. who filled in when Victoria when she was not there. Betsy’s level of professionalism is beyond anyone I have ever met. These girls were wonderful in every way. This was just planning and preparing for the wedding day. I shopped around before this place and they were truly the most reasonable place! I had a package deal of $10000.00 for 100 guest and all vendors were included. (DJ, Florist, Videographer, Photographer, Limousine, Etc.) Amazing Value for an amazing place!!! Now the day of my wedding was a dream come true. I left notes on all the little things I had and asked them to set up the tables a certain way and they were excellent! My maître’d was one hell of a woman.. she made sure that our wedding day went smooth and seamlessly as possible. She came up to service us without us having to call her. She even helped my Disabled mother & mother-in-law with anything they needed. I can go on and on about this place so I will wrap this up. The waiting staff was beyond superb and extremely professional. White Glove service all the way. The food was above and beyond. The hall is well up kept and most of all, my guest claim our wedding was the best they have ever went to( and that is important)! I could have not done it without the help of villa Russo and their elite choices of Vendors!!!

I just recently had my wedding reception at Villa Russo in the Palace on April 27th and I can not express enough how smooth, seamless the entire night went. Our Maitre'D was Destini. She was patient, efficient, and professional she never once seemed flustered or overwhelmed she handled every obstacle with such grace and knowledge she is beyond her years! I worked with Betsy to coordinate my wedding and again it was the same level of professionalism but over all kindness we felt with her through every interaction. The staff at Villa Russo are above anything else I can compare and I'm so glad I entrusted them with my wedding!! These guys are in the perfect business, they are real people who care and love what they do... All of my family and friends definitely noticed the attention and care the staff had for them. Because of Villa Russo my wedding reception was more than my dream come true. I am in love with every person on their staff, LOL! The food,cake, service,decor, planing/finalizing was incredible. Destinee & Kim (our maitre d) were my best friends that night. I can not thank them enough. Jennifer helped me with finalizing everything and she was a pleasure to work with, No matter how many times I called with questions she made sure I was left with a calm mind knowing that everything would turn out fine. I love, love, LOVE everyone at Villa Russo and I thank them for making my wedding reception an unforgettable and amazing evening/night for my husband and me.

Your basic catering hall with good food and decor. Lots to choose from and the dance floor is of a good size. There is valet parking across the street or you can parking in the iffy but seemingly safe neighborhood.
