There are not enough words to thank the El Caribe team for making our wedding reception so perfect! The food was amazing, the staff was incredible and the service was top notch. We are still receiving calls daily about how good the food and staff were. The bridal attendant and maitre’ds were SO amazing, patient and accommodating. They made sure EVERY SINGLE DETAIL was so perfect and it was a night we will never forget. Thank you to the entire staff- we cannot wait to come back for more parties!!!!!

Attended a wedding here. Food was amazing and plentiful. The grounds outside of the hall on the right were pretty and well maintained, and outdoor furniture comfortable. I did not see all of the grounds. Good amount of parking spaces lot. Halls are large but easy to maneuver to bars and dance floor. Dance floor was a bit too small for room size.

I had my combination bridal shower/bachelorette party at El Caribe recently and we had THE BEST time!! Food was incredible, and the layout and flow of the room was perfect for our setup. The lobby and room were gorgeous and elegant. The amount of food we received was unbelievable, especially the appetizers. Thank you to Phil, Sal and staff for an incredible night!

I had my son’s wedding at El Caribe. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, great drinks. The service is the best I’ve ever seen. I’ve been to many weddings but the service at El Caribe cannot be beat. The workers are on top of everything. Food was constantly being brought out. Hot, fresh and quality of the food was amazing. My guests were calling me the days following the wedding telling me what an amazing time they had and the food was great they were all telling me. I also had my daughter’s wedding here and same experience. I plan on having my other son’s wedding here as well. I will not go anywhere else because the service here is spectacular. I would rate this place 10 stars if I can. I had gelato cart, fresh rolled cigar cart, Nutella cart and a few others. My guests were amazed at the wedding. They all enjoyed themselves.

I have been to El Carib a few times for small functions, but this time I went for a wedding and it was an incredible experience. The hall, music food and service were all incredible. DEFINITELY get the filet mignon, it was unreal.

I recently had my wedding at the El Caribe. Everything was perfect! I worked with Phil, who was super helpful and accommodating with the planning process. During the wedding all the staff were extremely attentive and made the day great. They even helped sew my dress after the strap ripped. The outside grounds were great for pictures and the rooms inside looked gorgeous.

I can't say enough good things about El Caribe!! We got married over a month ago I still can't get over how beautiful and perfect our wedding was! If you want to book your event, have it be absolutely amazing and not have an ounce of stress - book El Caribe! From the day we booked everything was so smooth. Phil Kelly couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. He made every step so seamless and enjoyable. We booked in the height of covid so it had the potential to be stressful but Phil made sure it wasn't. Our wedding itself was AMAZING! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, I wish we could relive the day 100 times. People are still talking about what a great wedding it was. George, our maitre d and the bridal attendants were exceptional- so helpful and sweet. I will 100% be back to El Caribe to book my next event!

I would give 100 stars if I could. Ralph, Sal, George, Justina, Michael, literally everyone that works there is literally incredible. The day of our wedding was perfect and 100% stress-free because they honestly all made me feel so confident in every step of the process as soon as we stepped foot onto the grounds after the church ceremony. Ralph was amazing from start to finish with every little detail and making sure everything was executed perfectly - I literally never worried for a minute knowing he was taking care of it all. Sal was our maître d for the night and we couldn't have been happier with him, seriously. My husband forgot his duffle bag in one of the limos that wasn't coming back until the end of the night... Sal literally sent someone to get him cigarettes, I couldn't believe it. George and Michael kept making sure we were eating and drinking all night and George was literally about to give my husband entrees for the week to take home, he is so insanely good at his job. Michael was an absolute angel who even got my glam squad cocktails - THE BEST EVER. Justina was my right hand the whole night and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. She had things done, done and done before I even asked her anything and she was literally the bridal attendant of my dreams. Don't know why people look to get married in Jersey where the food is mediocre at best and the floors are covered in carpet. El Caribe is not only beautiful inside and out, but the food is spectacular beyond words and all of our wedding guests cannot stop raving about it. I also had my sweet 16 here years ago and our engagement party a year ago, you can literally never get sick of this place. Will only have events here for the rest of my life. Love my El Caribe family!!! <3

We recently celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 at "El Caribe" on 09/01/17. I decided to take a few days to gather my thoughts together because the staff deserve much more than just one line of gratitude. It was my first time hosting such an event and I must say that Terrence (the banquet manager) and George/Jorge (the staff/event manager) made my ordeal so much less stressful. Terrence helped me organize the program schedule, food/cake options, linens even the smallest details which was font/theme colors for menus. Jorge was beyond spectacular serving my guest, my family and self. He collected a few items for event the day prior and when I arrived to hall, he had set everything up without me moving a finger! He kept the whole event organized and everything was maintained nice, neat and above all clean! Bathrooms were always intact; the food was outstanding and I don't have enough words or thank-you's to express my gratitude. I mean, it is almost one week since the affair and people still keep calling me impressed with the catering staff. If I can give them 6 stars or more I would because there's no scale that can measure their professionalism, expertise and courteousness! Thank-you guys from the bottom of my heart! This will be one of many events to celebrate with you guys!

I was at El Caribe for an event and was blown away with the service of all the staff. The food was amazing from the appetizers to the dessert. The waiters an waitresses were so attentive to detail from fixing a crooked silverware placing between courses to seemingly being at the right place at the right moment every time for anything you possibly needed. I would definitely recommend having an event at El Caribe.

I am a wedding officiant and premarital counselor that has performing weddings around the world and even on tv (most recently Love is Blind). Living only minutes away from El Caribe I’ve enjoyed discovering the wedding celebration venue of gem El Caribe is for the community. During the ceremony, my couple, their guest and I were surrounded by such beautiful greenery in their outdoor space it felt like I was doing a wedding ceremony in the heart of Miami, Florida. El Carib not only had a destination feel in the heart of Brooklyn, the tasty food during the cocktail hour satisfies any multicultural palate. I was scheduled to officiate there again in 2020 but I am even more eager to get back there in 2021.

My husband and I had our wedding recently at the El Caribe and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived Sal and George were amazing. They were on top of every little detail and made sure everything turned out exactly how we wanted it to be. Because of them the party ran so smoothly and turned out perfect. The bartender Michael was great, he made sure we had a fresh drink at all times without us having to ask. The bridal attendant was fabulous, made sure we were well fed and had everything we needed. She helped me with my dress all night which made it so much easier for me. We weren’t the only ones who noticed how attentive the staff was many guest commented on the great hospitality as well. All of the food was phenomenal and we have zero complaints about it. Overall it was such a beautiful wedding.

We just had our engagement party here this Saturday. The party was absolutely amazing. Phil made our planning process so easy and seamless. The food was out of this world. Every single one of our guests complimented the food and amazing staff. Our maitre d's, Sal and George, continuously checked on us all night and made sure everything was perfect. I do not even know where to begin; I can go on endlessly about how wonderful Phil, El Caribe and the entire staff was to me, my husband, families and guests. This all started back in 2019 when we originally booked our wedding for May of 2020 and then had our plans repeatedly disrupted through the next year until we were finally were able to have a successful wedding on 9/10/21. Through the last year the team at El Caribe did everything they could to accommodate date changes, menu requests, requests from vendors and simple favors. On the date of our wedding everything went a smoothly as possible from beginning to end, I received countless compliments on the food and service through out the night. The decor/atmosphere here is incredible, the food was excellent, drinks were good and strong, bathroom remained clean throughout the night, lots of parking available. He answered every question and went above and beyond to assure us that everything was going to be perfect, and it was. The El Caribe is beautiful and has the best food. It is known for its food!!! I cannot begin to tell you how AMAZING this place is. We had our wedding here 3 weeks ago and people are still talking about it. Their service is one of a kind. Feedback from our friends and families were how the employees were like "soldiers". Each one was in sync with one another. If someone's drink was done, another came right after without a say and that means a lot. The food was delicious and nonstop. Went here for a coworker party. There are lots of parking spaces, valet also available. The venue is gorgeous and elegant. So many beautiful flowers around. Elegant with nature, touch. Gold everywhere, love. They have vegan options! Delicious grilled veggies. I wish their were more mushrooms! I came too late for the hors d'oeuvres, but everyone had good things to say about all their dishes. Staff is great! Attentive, I never had to wave anyone down. They always kept my glass full! Spacious dance floor and good sound systems. Nice table setting and chairs. Enjoy!

The El Caribe does not give themselves enough credit for the wonderful weddings they throw. We were so happy with our recent July 2019 wedding and we would like to express our thanks by writing this review. Food: We chose the El Caribe because of their stellar reputation for cocktail hour and food in general. The cocktail hour had an insane amount of food, covering the entire perimeter of the room. Including a man making fresh mozzarella (everyone loved that). Most guests told us over and over how they had never been to a cocktail hour like that. As the bride and groom, we were given a sample of all the entrees (so many to choose from like 6-8). All of them were awesome. Service: Phil is so easy to work with and will give you great advice about making decisions. Trust him. Decor: The large room has these light up tree branches that make the room look really gorgeous, especially in pictures. *We had an afterparty at the El Caribe in the smallest room. All we told them was that we wanted a lounge vibe. He organized the rental couches and built a massive 4 sided bar. Pictures do not do it justice. It was so trendy and different. I would not only recommend the El Caribe, I trust them. They are the best!

Terrific food. Been to several events and the food is always excellent! Good party spaces. Clean facilities, valet parking. If food is a priority for your special event, you can't go wrong with El Caribe. It's one of the few, if not the only place in Brooklyn, where you can stull have a traditional, catered affair with incredible food in a classic environment and ample parking.

Located in the heart of Brooklyn. Very secluded but nice place. Great outdoor patio. The big ballroom could use some updating. The espresso and capuchinno machine by the door is the best thing I have seen at catering places. Definitely needed to start your party and finish it as well. Food is great with nice Italian appetizers.

Start with El Caribe for any wedding or event!! We looked at a few different venues for our June 15th wedding reception and were disappointed with either pricing, quality of food, lackluster event rooms, CLEANLINESS, level of service, etc. We should have gone here first! Once we met with Phil at the El Caribe our decision was made on the spot! From our first meeting we felt so comfortable and well taken care of. Every question we had was answered, any unordinary request we had could be accommodated with ease, the food selection was vast and varied, and the rooms themselves were pristine and beautifully decorated. Throughout the planning process the staff at El Caribe were always available to answer questions, discuss options, and put any worries I had to rest. I would walk into one of our meetings with a ton of questions, scenarios (we changed our room set up and dinner service three times until I felt satisfied - they are so accommodating), etc. and I would walk out feeling lighter and at ease. On the day of the wedding EVERYTHING ran smoothly. We had cocktail hour and our reception in the Topaz Room from 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Guests arrived a bit early and the experienced staff had the room already set so we could open the room earlier than expected. Cocktail hour was tremendous; SO much quality food. We didn’t include any carving stations or extras outside of what the cocktail hour offered and it was more than enough! We received so many compliments on the wait staff; our guests said they were never without a fresh drink. While our guests were enjoying cocktail hour we were finishing up our photos. Our maître d, Jason, and Ali, our attendant for the night, were extremely polite, prompt, and gave us the best service we have ever had. Gregory and the other bartenders were phenomenal. Remembered what everyone was drinking and were so attentive. Our guests are still raving about the service! The coordination with the vendors is seamless and our night flowed smoothly and on time (cocktail hour to dinner service in the same room, florist, dances, dj, dinner, photos/video, cake cutting, etc.). Finally, the Food at El Caribe is beyond all expectations! The quality, quantity, timeliness, temperature, and presentation were the best I’ve ever had. Our family and friends are still telling us it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. I would whole heartedly agree! The El Caribe sets a standard of quality and service for which all other catering halls do not compare. We would choose the El Caribe again and again! Phil and his staff are phenomenal and we’re so glad we chose this venue for our special day.

Was there for a work event and the venue was spacious and there were plenty of parking spaces. Staff were friendly as well. Food was decent. Would recommend for parties and wedding receptions . Public transit is far but if you are traveling within Brooklyn Uber provides reasonable options .

We had our wedding reception at El Caribe in June. The night could not have gone any better. Both my husband and I, as well as our guests were amazed by the service. It was above and beyond expectations. The venue is beautiful and the food is delicious. All of our guests are still complimenting the food (cocktail hour, dinner, etc.) and service. The Maitre d's did an amazing job at catering to us. At one point, Terrence pulled us to the dais table and just told us to look at the dance floor and take it in, which was truly a memorable moment. Went there with my wife and friends for the Holiday Party. The service was great, food and wine plentiful and delicious. DJ and music was ok as the verity was limited. Valet parking is an awesome service and is run very well.

This is a catering hall. The food is good but of course it depends upon which choices one makes from the catering menu. It might be up to the host of the party. I have been here several times. There is an Italian flavor to the menu. The food has always been good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I felt it was expensive, but then again it depends upon your menu selection.

There aren't too many classy caterers left in Brooklyn so I feel thankful to still have El Caribe around. I've attended weddings here, charity events, political fundraiser...even a Sweet 16. The food is good but the cocktails are even better. The ambiance is just right and the staff is courteous and professional.

There are not enough words to describe how unbelievable our wedding was on 08.09.19. As I sit here on my honeymoon and recall all of the fabulous details that we had throughout the day, I felt it was necessary to let everyone know our phenomenal experience. We worked with Ralph for our wedding and from the minute we sat down with him to book our wedding venue we felt like family. Ralph went above and beyond for us and made sure that absolutely everything was perfect. When I say perfect, I mean that Ralph is a perfectionist and I am a perfectionist so I knew that I was in good hands by wanting everything done a certain way. All of our guests raved about the cocktail hour, the main course, the Venetian hour. We did not have one bad word said from our wedding about this venue. I could go on and on about how professional the El caribe is. I now understand why when we speak to couples who have been married for 30+ years that were married at the El Caribe the same words are always said “the food there is out of this world” “the service and food at the el caribe has never changed”. To be in business for so many years and to constantly have the same words spoken about over and over just proves how terrific they are. This venue is a timeless gem along with the staff. Our maître d, Matt, was there for our every need throughout the night as well as Allie, my bridal attendant. I cannot wait to have another event at the el caribe. Larry and I cannot thank you enough for making our wedding so memorable for us and our guests.
