It was such an amazing & special weekend with the help of Amy and her incredible team. They made it completely stress-free for us, everything was taken care of, organized and under control. It was so seamless which let me and my whole family enjoy every moment of my daughters wedding. Everyone was so professional, sweet and welcoming to our entire crew. Amy thought of every detail and it truly showed. From the start of planning until now, it has been such a pleasure to work with Amy. Anyone would be lucky to have Amy Katz for a future event.

One of the best decisions we made during our whole wedding process was hiring Amy Katz! From the very beginning we knew we were in good hands with her and her team. They made the entire planning process seamless and worry free. She is extremely knowledgeable, organized, detail oriented, and stays on top of every vendor. Our wedding day was not stressful at all, and because of her detailed schedule and planning, the day was executed flawlessly! Everything was thought of beforehand, and she worked with everyone day of to ensure we were relaxed and enjoying the day. Would definitely recommend hiring her - you won’t regret it!

Hiring Amy as our wedding planner was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding!! She was our first step in the wedding planning process and she made the entire process seamless and so much fun from the beginning to end. We got married at The Plaza in July and thanks to Amy we had a fairytale wedding that was better than we could have dreamed of and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire planning process as well. Amy and her team are incredibly responsive, empathetic, knowledgeable and well connected. We had absolutely incredible vendors, but every vendor we hired was with Amy's recommendation and each one of them noted how much they enjoy working with Amy because they know with her steering the day, everything will be smooth. With Amy's guidance, we had a band that kept our guests dancing all night long, flowers that left everyone in awe, stunning pictures that capture the whole essence of the day and so on. Best of all, thanks to Amy and her team we could relax and just enjoy taking in every moment of the day without a single worry. Amy cares about her clients and was with us every step of the way ensuring our vision was executed to perfection. Amy is simply the best and I cannot recommend her and her team enough! I can confidently say will not be disappointed.

Amy Katz and her staff does not disappoint! They are professionals to the fullest. I am completely indebted to them for organizing and executing our children's Mitzvah events with incredible, individualized care. Once Amy and her team take over the planning, the client is put at ease. Everything is orchestrated from the beginning to the day of the event seamlessly. Every question is responded to promptly. The top vendors in NYC all know and respect Amy and cannot do enough to make her and her clients happy. Working with Amy this past year to plan my daughter's wedding at the Parrish Art Museum in October was honestly an experience I would love to repeat! She is so calm, cool, and professional but most important, she LISTENED to our wishes and truly made all of our dreams come true with NO STRESS if you can possibly believe that! I am absolutely sure that there was plenty of stress leading up to the wedding but I can tell you that Amy absorbed all of it and we did not feel it. Aside from her living up to every single thing she promised me from our very first phone call, I had the pleasure of working with her team! Maddy became our new best friend and just like Amy, she is incredibly cool, positive, professional and always available. The day of the wedding we had the opportunity to meet some other members of her staff! Where do I begin?? Anna, Stacie the stylist (who I fought to hire and she is literally a godsend!). These ladies were my daughter's "Posse" and necessary beyond!!! Only if you want to enjoy the day that is!!!! That is really what it is all about! You work all year to create your dream and on that day, you just want to be in the moment. Amy and her team have everything covered! I have worked with party planners before but never with such ease and genuine excitement that we have had working with Amy!! Amy Katz events is the absolute best!!!!!!

Amy Katz and her team (Amanda, who we worked with, in particular) exceeded our expectations at every possible inflection point in our wedding planning process. They have all the connections to the best vendors, take time to understand their clients so they can best advise them on which vendors to use, and provide organization, motivation, and sound advice as well as an available ear throughout the entire wedding process. My husband and I literally could not wrap our minds around how people pay their wedding planners a percentage fee of their overall wedding. We were told repeatedly, "That's just how it's done." Obviously, such a structure incentivizes a planner to spend as much as possible. When we found Amy, a highly regarded planner who charged a flat fee, we honestly thought this might mean we needed to do a bit more of the leg work for our own wedding or that somehow the level of service would suffer slightly. We were wrong. Amy and her team unequivocally provided five-star service throughout the entire process. They organized our invite lists, updated the budget spreadsheets, liaised with vendors, and responded IMMEDIATELY. Amy and her team's ONLY motivation is to provide the best service possible to their clients. They were incredible. I cannot recommend them enough. We recently had the pleasure of working with Amy Katz Events for our wedding at the Plaza Hotel, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Amy has a fabulous team who helped us every step of the way. She connected us with the best vendors in NYC including an incredible florist, a fantastic band, hair and makeup artists, videographer, seamstress, etc. She participated in many of our vendor meetings to ensure every detail would be perfect. We had some special requests for catering at The Plaza, since we have dietary requirements and allergies. Amy made sure all food and beverages were adapted as per our specific needs, and everything was absolutely delicious! On the day of the wedding, everything went off smoothly, thanks to Amy. Amy’s team was there to walk us through every part of the day leading up to the event and stayed with us from beginning to end to ensure everything ran on time. If we needed any last minute details handled, Amy and her team made it happen seamlessly without causing us any stress. We would highly recommend Amy Katz Events to anyone planning a wedding. Amy is fantastic, and we are so grateful to her for making our special day everything we dreamed it would be. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Amy and her team were fantastic! From the very beginning, we knew we had made the right decision to hire her when she secured viewings at all the venues we dreamed of considering, and in less than a week of hiring her, we were able to visit every single one. She then ensured that along with the quote from each venue, she built out a spreadsheet comparing the actual costs of each by adding in estimates for catering, tables/chairs/linens, staff, etc., when some venues did not include these items in their quotes. Just like the venues, she knows all the best vendors, and they all praised how professional she was to work with. She was always there to help talk through decisions or ideas to make the wedding ours. We would not have had a wedding day as incredible as it was without Amy, and we highly recommend her to anyone who wants a world-class wedding!

Amy and her team made my vision of my wedding come true in every way. They took my vision and brought it to another level by making recommendations that made the day even more special. For example, unfortunately both of my parents passed away so Amy thought of beautiful ways to incorporate their memory into the wedding.
