I would give this place 10 stars if I could. We held our wedding ceremony and reception at The Swoop-Duggins House and it was absolutely perfect. I feel so grateful we found this venue because there is no other place like it. Everything about it is amazing, but here is a list of my favorite things about this venue: -From the reservation of the venue, to the food and drink selection, everyone involved in the process was kind, professional, supportive, and welcoming. -We had our ceremony indoors on the second floor because it was hot and rainy. I'm so glad we did. I didn't have to decorate at all because the space is absolutely beautiful. Jenny placed an aisle of (electric) votive candles along the floor that made for a magical atmosphere. -My family is still talking about how amazing the food was (especially the short ribs). -They gave me suggestions on other vendors such as a jazz trio that turned out to be wonderful advice. -Jenny made two signature drinks based on my tastes and the consensus was they were delicious. -Their support with food and beverages was nowhere short of astounding. I really couldn't have gotten through it all without them. In conclusion, if you want to have the best experience possible in one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen - book this place now. It is certainly going to be a prime venue in the future!

Can't recommend the Swoop-Duggins enough! This place was absolutely gorgeous, the staff super friendly and so helpful. My husband and I had our welcome party leading to our wedding here. Linda ensured that everything went smoothly and went above and beyond to ensure that all our requests were met. The place is gorgeous and perfect for pictures. My favorite is the Bar. The cocktails were soooo good! The food was also incredible. If you are planning to host an event, do not look further. This is the place!

we reserved the space for our son’s graduation from Tulane. when 20 family members decided to join us i panicked. luckily i was able to book the Swoop-Duggan space. it was perfect! food and drink were fabulous. everyone kept saying they felt like they were on the set of Peaky Blinders. Linda was easy to work with and the staff on site were wonderful. I would highly recommend the location and hope to do something again there in the future.

This place is MAGICAL! You cannot get more New Orleans than this! Linda and her amazing team hosted our congress' Welcome Party in September. It was approximately 80-100+ of us, and all of our guests (local and out-of-towners) absolutely loved this venue. The drinks were fabulous (and the bar was fast!), the ambiance and decor were unmatched, and the overall energy was incredibly welcoming - just like New Orleans. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. We have worked with Linda in the past at her previous venues, and she never disappoints!

This place is definitely a hidden gem in New Orleans. It is a GREAT VENUE for a private event with a small to medium amount of guests. If you are searching for a chic location that offers the New Orleans ambiance and comfort, this is your venue. Ms Linda and her team are great. I highly recommend this venue.

Everyone at the Swoop-Duggins House made our wedding so perfect, all we had to to was show up and enjoy the venue; we cannot recommend them highly enough, it was such a perfect day!

We had a lovely baby shower at this venue. The owners were fabulous and the staff was wonderful! The assortment of food was delicious and beautifully presented. They helped us with a location for great photos within the space and a dedicated space of honor to display and serve a fantastic cake. Nice space for the flow of an event for seating or standing. We had a great time and it was a great location! Bravo!

Absolutely perfect venue for our launch party. I wanted a place with a traditional New Orleans vibe, but didn't want stuffy, dusty decor. Swoop-Duggins is stylishly cool with a nod to local history. Their luxurious bar instantly beckoned us to have a cocktail and enjoy the evening. We had a wonderful bartender, Taylor, for the event. He made such a good French 75 that it was very hard to leave at the end of the night.

This was a beautiful venue for our daughter's small destination wedding reception. Linda is a creative professional who understands every aspect of hosting a great event. She has high expectations which made it easy for me to make food and cocktail decisions. Her chef and staff are wonderful. The historic house was the perfect place to experience a real historical NOLA vibe. Guests are still commenting on the beautiful spaces and delicious food as well as the crafted signature cocktails! A great place for photos, too. Side note, Linda has suggestions for other venders you may need as well. We used Nick J Florist (next door) who is totally wonderful too! There are many hotels within walking distance...our guests stayed at the Hyatt House so they easily walked home at the end of the night with visions of the grand chandelier still dancing in their heads, lol. The CBC district is amazing and Swoop-Duggins is a hidden gem.
