I wish it were easier to come up with words to describe how amazing our NOLA destination elopement turned out to be. I planned the entire wedding by myself from St. Louis, MO. My husband & I looked in several cities for the right venue. After months of looking all over the country at unique venues, I found Race + Religious & I knew instantly that was where we'd be married. I took a risk planning a wedding in a city I'd never been to but it was all so worth it in the end. Our wedding was everything I could have asked for & more. Thank you so much to the R+R team for making our dream a reality. The pictures from our wedding day will forever tell a beautiful story!

Excellent work from all involved from beginning to end. Kept to the quote, arrived on time, and fully described the nature and purpose of the foam spray insulation to be done. Excellent cleanup as well. Also, communication with the home reno crew was good.

I'm a wedding photographer who has been very lucky to photograph at R&R over 50 times and I can say after over a decade in the wedding industry, there is NO venue like this one! R&R is a layered tropical oasis with hidden artwork, courtyards, and incredible photo backdrops everywhere you look. The history of the building and the insane amount of time, money, and hard work that has gone into each inch of the building is unbelievable. As a photographer, it's an absolute dream - every time I visit, I see something new, and every wedding I photograph, there's a new dreamy spot for portraits. Riki + Sarah are both incredible to work with and extremely on top of things. If you're a couple considering R&R for your wedding, consider your decision made. You will not regret it!

GOSH! Where do I begin? I'm a Baton Rouge wedding photographer that shoots in NOLA quite a bit. This is one of my favorite venues. Not only is the venue itself gorgeous but the staff is also pretty incredible. They are super accommodating and really want you to have a good time while you're there. I recently did a bridal shoot here and they let us be as creative as we wanted. Having this type of a latitude makes all the difference. I'd highly recommend couple's come see it in person. It is STUNNING!

This place is cool. Attended a wedding her that carried the historic elegance of New Orleans. It's located in more of a spacious business district and less residential, but the house has a cool vibe and style that carries its NOLA charm.

Race + Religious is truly magical. We knew it was the place to celebrate our wedding the second we stepped foot on the property - it is a true New Orleans gem and wherever you are in the venue, you are surrounded by gorgeous colors, greenery, and character. Our guests were equally blown away by the stunning venue. Race + Religious was the perfect place to have our ceremony, reception, and the ultimate dance party. The whole team was fantastic to work with, especially as we navigated planning with them from afar throughout the pandemic. When it came to our wedding day, we felt right at home as we got ready in the beautiful rooms throughout the venue. We are truly honored we could celebrate our marriage at R+R, thank you to the whole team!

Much more spacious than it appears in pictures. The staff is AMAZING. Great recommendations. If you're considering using this venue, don't give it a second thought. IT IS AMAZING!

Sometimes there aren't words for the brilliance of a place, it just has to be seen, and I'll preface this review by saying that nothing I can write here will do justice to the infinite breathtaking beauty of Race + Religious. Every last square inch of this place is pure gorgeous New Orleans magic. It's perfection. However, while Race + Religious is visually gorgeous, there's also an energy to this space, a laid-back, romantic, and creative spirit that is embodied by those who work there, as well as those drawn to this place as a backdrop for where love takes that ultimate step into forever. My partner and I were supposed to be married in October of 2020, but had to cancel due to the pandemic. When we decided to reschedule for November of 2021, we made the difficult decision to have a guest-less wedding at our original venue (R + R), instead LIVEstreaming our ceremony for our friends and families to watch virtually. Without guests, there was potentially quite the emptiness to be felt at our reception (my partner and I + our doggie), but Race + Religious as a place kept our wedding experience so very special, providing us endless nooks and crannies to explore, take pictures in, and be utterly swept up in the romance of a venue truly unlike any other. If you are looking for a venue that is quintessentially New Orleans and imbued with layer upon layer of beauty that speaks to the ages while still feeling modern, look no further -- Race + Religious is the very best times ten. Also, it must be mentioned that the folks who work there are consummate professionals, generous of spirit, and will do everything in their power to make your day perfection. What a lovely setting for a wedding! The place is wonderfully romantic and charming, has plenty of open space so is very comfortable (weather permitting) and doesn't feel crowded even with a crowd. Lots of great pic backgrounds but get there early because parking can be tricky!

I'm not sure what this place is, or what they do there, but when I walked by, it changed my life. It literally saved my marriage and brought me closer to my parents. Two weeks ago I was homeless, now I have 2 servants and a maid house for them to live in. The most beautiful part of it all is now literally everything tastes better, lookes more beautiful, and is less likely to drive me into beating my wife, kids and elderly parents again.
