Kristen and her team did an amazing job with planning my destination wedding! I really appreciated the fact that Kristen didn't mind going to the store to purchase a shawl for unexpectedly cold weather on my wedding day. I love her attention to detail! Everyone on her team was extremely professional and kind. I would highly suggest booking Kristen for weddings in New Orleans! 💕

We worked with Kristen and PK Events to plan our perfect day due to cross country planning of a destination wedding in NOLA! Our wedding day was perfect, start to finish...even with a couple of pivots due to Mardi Gras. We had so much fun and our guests had great time. Kristen and all the vendors where absolutely fantastic. They helped us with everything along the way. We had our ceremony in Jackson Square and it was perfection to us. I think somehow Kristen even got the weather to cooperate. She and the photographer took care of us. They exceeded all expectations. Kristen and her team were absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for any better service. Eloping is easy in some ways, if you have the right team! Kristen found a fabulous hair and make up consultant. The location, flowers, and photographer were fabulous! Kristen was very easy to work with and helped me feel at ease. Marcia is a fantastic photographer! Karen was a wonderful officiant. She took a lot of time ahead of time to get to know us and to make our vows special. The whole team worked together to make the day perfect!

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here at the Canal Street Inn with PK Events. From start to finish everything was amazing. We felt very welcomed. We appreciated all the peace and joy that came along with our stay. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Our stay was “everything” all of our guests were so grateful for the thoughtful amenities. Many intend to book for their own personal stays. We also held our anniversary party here and everything turned out lovely in spite of the rainstorm that decided to roll through. As the client we felt little to no stress in the adjustments that had to be made due to the weather. Everything was handled even before we could think of it. We simply were able to ENJOY ourselves and be present in the moment. We are most appreciative for all the hard work and effort that was displayed throughout the weekend. The kindness blessed upon us helped make memories for the next 10 years. Thank you all again.

A year ahead of our wedding, we travelled to New Orleans (from Houston, TX) in search of a venue; when we found The Canal Street Inn, we were thrilled but when we learned about the PK Events wedding package option, we were just beside ourselves with glee! We met with Kristen of PK Events during that trip and very quickly felt confident that our event would be a success, and that Kristen, along with her team would take care of every little detail for us, and they did! Our wedding was smallish, 40 guests all told and so we chose the Destination Wedding package (package for 16-50 people), the package included all of the various components that you’d ever want for a wedding, and the vendors to provide those components… Officiant, photographer, cake, bouquet/boutonnière, champagne and even a violinist! Possibly, most invaluable of all, (especially to us living out of town and having a destination wedding!) Wedding Planner Services!! Kristen was wonderful, she stayed in regular contact with us throughout the year until our wedding date, communicating (via email and then phone and in person, closer to the time) as much as we needed, she was responsive, knowledgeable, patient and always available whenever we had a question or a thought! The biggest challenge for us was relinquishing all responsibility and having someone else handle the details, but we’re so pleased that we did, and we need not have been concerned at all. The PK Events team was amazing from beginning to end; we highly recommend PK Events to anyone planning a New Orleans wedding. Kristen, Kim, Marcia, Joy, Scherri, Terry, N’Awlins Ramblers, and Iuliia, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your passion, your dedication and your creativity. Each of you played a major part in making our day personal, unique and unforgettable!
