Leigh BrockmanMy company ("Storytellers DANCE Project") and I just had our very first filming evening of one of our choreographies and rented out studio space at NOLA Spaces as our shooting location. Beautiful rental space with tall ceilings, lightly mirrored walls (perfect for video shoots!), sprung floors, and wonderful acoustics. We could not have been happier there. The lobby space and bathrooms were wonderful break areas and very, very easily accessible from the shoot location studio. The staff was just incredible to work with, from initial queries and questions all the way through the night of the shoot. They were informative, accessible and easy to work with!!! Storytellers ALREADY has our next night slated out with NOLA Spaces - a live performance this time! - and I would recommend them to ANYONE who is looking for studio space to just simply hold class or rehearsal all the way to those looking for performance space. Thank you, NOLA Spaces!!!!!!!!
Barbara LynnMy family had a fantastic experience when renting NOLA Spaces' main floor for an October 2013 party. Guests with a walker and a wheelchair were able to access the facility and participate in the activities. Some friends and family members took the St. Charles Avenue streetcar, just a block from the venue. Others drove private vehicles and had no problem with street parking. NOLA Space's staff discussed layout of the room prior to the event. Everything was perfect. We were able to set up a buffet in the café area, and we used the adjacent bar for beverage service. The sofas and tables on the main floor provided a relaxing setting for the predominantly over 60 crowd. Restroom facilities were clean and fully stocked with paper products; they are conveniently located adjacent to the café. The live band set up at the far end of an incredible wooden dance floor. NOLA Spaces has a super sound system and a multitude of lighting options which showcased the band and the dancing guests. NOLA Spaces assisted us with hiring security staff and a clean-up crew, who were efficient and well-trained. This was the best party we have ever had. We plan to use NOLA Spaces for our next event, and we would highly recommend it to others.
Laura LatinoWe LOVE everything about NOLA Spaces! The owners are easy to work with, the building is beautifully maintained. Each room has a wonderful and unique feel of its own. The amazing cafe is just icing on the cake.
