Reviews of New Orleans Opera Guild Home
Only house open to public for indoor visits in the garden district. $15 ticket, but very worth it. Beautiful house and furnitures, even better knowledgeable tour guides. Every Monday from 11-3 but their schedule sometimes changes.
Absolutely spectacular large 2 story guilded home from the mid 1800's set in the heart of The Garden District of New Orleans with an incredible history of wealth, opulence, loss, and recovery in the first City of Opera.
Surrounded by stunning houses, this gorgeous home was breathtaking! Saw this house along with several others in the Garden District (best time weekday 4-5pm). Several tours available. I did not get a chance to go inside & am not sure they have those tours, but I spent so much time in love with the outside and yard, that I wouldn't have had time to look inside.
A beautiful home and a great place to stop on our garden district walking tour.
This home is astonishing, surrounded of beautiful houses. Interesting landmark.
We shoot commercials, docs and movies on this property. There are 5 unique, gorgeous spaces for capturing Victorian influenced home. Plenty of power(all knob and tube). Great size for parties, weddings and special events. Staff is pretty great, just don't break anything. it's all expensive.
I wish I could have visited inside. But the place is nice outside.
Beautiful location for any event or simply tour. Held our son's wedding rehearsal dinner there, could not have asked for a better place. Real NOLA, old south feel. To top off, catering is done by Ralph Brennan's Events & Catering - the best. Last but certainly not the least,Gail Varuso, she runs the events & catering - wonderful & extremely helpful. Great place, highly recommended.
We did the walking tour of the French Quarter, tour guide Nancy was great and made the experience awesome. She was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. If you have the time, take the tour!
Went for a wedding.. The food was incredible.... not sure of the name of the catering company however got to give credit where credit is due. :)
We visited, as part of our Grey Line with tour guide Joanne, who was amazing. Highly recommend visiting.
