Barrie and her team were AMAZING. My client had brought them on to their wedding day team and they certainly did not disappoint. From day one of communicating with her to the delicious food on the wedding day, they were on top of everything. Barrie always responded to emails quick and clearly communicated what she needed so nothing was missed. Her staff were so helpful and professional throughout the event as well. The groom gave her a special recipe to make as he wanted that particular dish made by his mom to be a part of his special day. The Groom said it tasted EXACTLY the way his mom had made it for him when he was a kid. She definitely puts a lot of care and thought into each clients needs. I loves working with her, so if you are looking for a caterer, reach out!! You will absolutely not be disappointed!!

Hands down the best wedding vendor we worked with. Top-notch communication, excellent attention to detail, and supurb creativity. Always helpful and responsive. They have a robust, diverse network of chef contacts and offer great descriptions of the food and tastings. Our wedding initially was scheduled for March 2020, and MyHouseEvents was amazing and flexible with navigating those early, confusing COVIDtimes. The whole staff remained incredibly helpful and positive even during that difficult time. If I have any regrets, it's that we only booked them for food and not the whole the wedding coordination, which I know they would be great at.

My House Events was a phenomenal company to work with. We had the pleasure to work with Kaylene and it was amazing. I have to admit that I was not your average bride, and I didn't want to go through the motions of all the traditional things, and I really had a tough time making decisions. Kaylene took the reins and executed everything brilliantly!! And although we ended up not going through with it she provided an excellent option of vegan beignets that I was ecstatic about. Felt like anything you could hope for they would try their hardest to make come true!! Can not say enough kind things about them!

Our interactions were minimal in the planning process and yet they completely understood the vision and operated tastefully, with beautiful ingredients, thoughtful touches and ease. Barrie and the My House Events staff are absolutely incredible. They lent a major assist to a series of Academy Awards Digital Days video shoots that we did in early March of 2022, the food was incredible, robust, and Barrie was extremely flexible when it came to head count and menu options. They handled everything from individualized crew meals up to full on catered meals on shoots days. Would highly recommend!

My House Social is such an incredible catering coordination service! I am so happy that I decided to plan and execute our menu with My House Social for our wedding! By working closely with Danielle, I knew whatever was curated was going to be the highest quality with the best vendors. By discussing our likes and wants on the phone, Danielle was able to create a customized menu that screamed the bride and groom. Anything that I had envisioned, Danielle made it happen. Our espresso bar and barista staff was a huge hit! Everyone kept raving how much they loved their drinks, from espresso shots to lattes made with oatmeal milk. The main courses and snacks throughout the evening was absolutely perfect too! Everything tasted so good, and many people got seconds! The serving staff at our wedding were so professional. I am still getting comments how perfect everything was during our reception! If I ever need to plan another event, I will definitely use My House Social. I highly suggest you do the same if you want a hassle and stress free event!

If I could give My House Social, especially Katherine, 20 Stars, I would. My daughter’s wedding was the most amazingly, memorable day and we have Katherine and My House Social to thank for it. The first and most valuable piece of advice I was given as a new mother of the bride was to get a Month of Coordinator so that I can enjoy the wedding and reception, and Katherine did not disappoint. A month out, she took over working with all of the vendors for the wedding. She made the day look effortless. She had everything for the day planned down to the minute, starting at 7am that morning (actually the day before with the rehearsal) to the clean up that evening and I didn’t have to worry about any of it. It was an amazing day and I can’t begin to tell you the number of compliments I received about how wonderful everything was and how well things flowed, and it never would have been possible without Katherine and My House Social. With a 22 month engagement, there was lots of time for ideas to change and desire for things to be added. Katherine was able to help us out with all of it. Since the wedding and reception were at Felicity Church, we were able to customize so much, including our catering. With multiple revisions of our dinner and cocktail hour menu, Katherine and Fete Au Fete worked with us to find the perfect menu with a New Orleans flair, but also accommodated our vegetarian and pescatarian guests. Katherine has the patience of a saint. The food was unbelievably amazing and unforgettable! Katherine’s knowledge and expertise provided us with wonderful suggestions and guidance. I cannot recommend My House Social and Katherine highly enough.

They found the best food truck providers and helped to make our wedding super instagrammable, which was our goal. Kelsey and Katherine were extremely responsive and made the process of wedding planning much simpler. Even better, they made my destination wedding so magical for everyone! We are so thankful that we used My House Social for our wedding. They made selecting the food, drinks, rentals, and more SO easy! We didn't want the "traditional" wedding food, and MHS allowed us to find a chef that could provide exactly what we wanted, while still staying within our budget. One of the best decisions that we made was using a month-of coordinator. Katherine was AMAZING! She was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. Katherine handled everything - from confirming vendors, to ordering rentals, to our day-of timeline, to post-wedding clean-up. I was truly able to enjoy my wedding day (and the month leading up to the wedding) because of her! I can't recommend MHS and Katherine enough!!!

It was wonderful working with Danielle, Katherine, and My House Social. Katherine was our month-of planner, and I honestly had no idea what I would need her for until she swooped in and just washed all my worries away. Every few days I would call or email her and say something like "I don't know what I should do about..." and she would reply "well that's my job!" and come up with a solution that really took my stress away. Katherine is just a lovely person! The food from our My House Social caterers (Chef Ethel and Chef Ruby) was AMAZING. Our guests loved all of it- a fresh take on some classics. We wanted to save money by doing some simpler food, and MHS is super non-judgmental about meeting your budget limits. Several times I said "please give me the cheapest one" for linens or rentals, etc., and they cheerfully went along. LONG story short, working with My House Social led to a beautiful, smooth running wedding, and everything was far less stressful than it could have been.

WOW! My House Events was a dream to work with from start to finish. Danielle and her team flawlessly executed our wedding celebration, from the menu curation (hello customized menu!) to the ambiance and guest experience, all while making the planning process fun and stress-free. We had several passed apps while guests were arriving and then had food stations at different points throughout the venue including a whole roasted pig, cheese/charcuterie table (this was a work of art in itself), mac and cheese, shrimp n grits and more! Also, our cake from Chef Ruby was as pretty as it was tasty! There was not one thing we had to worry about leading up to or during the celebration and many of our guests made a point to tell us that it was the best wedding that they had ever been too. We could not be more appreciative to have such a wonderful planner behind us making sure everything was perfect for our special day. Highly recommend!

My House Social did the catering for my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner. I can only say great things about Danielle and her crew. They were wonderful! The food was a fantastic selection of New Orleans cuisine that impressed both the locals and the out-of-towners. Everything was done on time and with care. We had extra people coming at the end of the night for dessert only, but since there was dinner food left over, Danielle made sure to keep it warm and available for the late guests. She and her crew also went out of their way to help us pack up the leftovers so we could load them on the buses and take them back to the hotel. This is a great catering service, if you're hosting an event in New Orleans. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

Danielle and the my House Social team are the best. We had our wedding last weekend and it couldn't have gone smoother. As everyone told us, planning a wedding is super stressful and there are decisions at every turn. When Danielle took over a month out, she was able to really weave everything together that we'd been working on up to that point. I felt taken care of at every turn and all the small details and concerns I had, she took on as her own so that I didn't need to keep worrying about them. With rain threatening the weekend of, I felt confident in our rain plan that Danielle devised even though we thankfully didn't need to implement it. The day of the wedding she was calm, on top of everything and wasn't overbearing or intrusive. She let us enjoy our day and kept the ceremony and party moving along seamlessly. Definitely recommend!

As an event planner who has worked on intimate weddings of 50 people and larger conferences of 20,000, I can honestly say that My House Social is among the best in the catering industry. I worked with them in October of 2019 where they coordinated catering for my event of 400, providing 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches (one of them food carts), and coffee and water stations. Three things stood out: 1. Their flexibility in planning - we wanted to do food carts - No problem! not every caterer has the connection or willingness to coordinate food trucks. They also allowed us to be flexible with our numbers, push deadlines to the last minute, and were nothing but accommodating when plans changed multiple times 2. Uniqueness - I was so happy to see a proposal that didn't look like every other catering proposal I had seen. They infuse NOLA culture and support local businesses. At the end of the event, they send out an impact report. Ours told us we had supported 100% women owned businesses! 3. Onsite professionalism - working with the team onsite was my favorite part. They went above and beyond to enhance our event, moving water stations to follow guest movement, working directly with attendees with dietary restrictions, and always checking in to make sure they were support me and my event planners in any way they could I would whole heartedly recommend My House Social for any catering needs. I'll start by saying my "wedding food" wasn't wedding food at all. The menu MHS social helped me to create with some incredibly talented New Orleans chefs was exactly what I envisioned and then some. Catering food is, in my experience, almost always a disappointment so working with MHS was a breath of fresh air. The meal we enjoyed on my wedding day will always be remembered. And beyond that, the experience around the meal was beautifully executed with zero stress to me on the day of the wedding! if you're looking for someone to curate your wedding day from the tiniest details, to the most important details (cough cough the food) reach out immediately. The talent they've amassed is bar none and their execution is stellar.

Besides creating a detailed timeline for us and organizing all vendors, she arranged for a tasting of our menu which was such fun. The entire team was so fun to work with and they took good care of us, making for a seamless experience. We highly recommend MHE!

Kelsey and Kaylene were great. There were some hiccups along the way that wasn’t their fault but they managed to navigate around it. We loved the food. Guests also loved the food. Everything came out perfect.
