This building is amazing looking from the outside. It's striking how much opulence NOLA has relative to all of the other cities in the South. You'd think a treasure like this building would be leveraged to better effect by city government in a manner that gets more folks off the streets. Why doesn't the French Quarter have a public swimming pool and showers for all the folk sweating wandering around? These folks should be enjoying some kind of palace or something with the City in possession of such opulence. Sell some of this stuff and take care of your people!!! SMH! So shameful.
