10/10 recommend Compass Point Events for your desired celebration! Erin and her team were absolutely amazing. I recently held my baby shower there and everyone enjoyed every moment of it! The grounds are GORGEOUS! The large oak trees really give it the Southern charm I was looking for. We used their catering services for their brunch menu and the food was AMAZING! We were served creole shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, pastries, Cajun scrambled eggs and much more! Everyone loved the food! They also provided us with a fully staffed bar service where bottomless mimosas and other drinks were served. The floral arrangements for the tables were beautiful! They arranged REAL flowers for each table and provided me with a space to take photos with presents. Erin was so accommodating with items in which I had forgot to bring, or didn’t think I needed! Lastly, the price is super affordable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and I most certainly would book this venue for another occasion!

We held our daughter’s wedding here a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t be any happier with choosing Compass Point! Erin and her staff were attentive to every detail and so easy to work with! The huge oak trees, string lights, dance floor, flower arch, and surrounding cottages framed a gorgeous setting for the wedding ceremony and reception! This will always be a a beautiful memory for our family! We are grateful! ❤️

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our wedding at Compass Point. First of all, we couldn't find a better price point for a venue and we were blown away by the fact that the price included wedding coordination, custom decorations, set-up, break-down, and much more. Erin also did our flowers for an unbeatable price and they were gorgeous. At the venue, the first things you'll notice are the big old oak trees, and the pretty historic buildings all around you. The venue comes alive at night with white lights strung all over. Erin was able to offer us decorations of all kinds and she and her team delivered exactly what we wanted, which was a pretty, elegant, and simple vibe for our table settings and decor. The food was great and there was plenty to go around--my favorites were the soup and the muffulettas and I'm grateful for the chefs and waitstaff. Erin was there to answer our questions and help us through each step of the planning process, and she and her team were flexible throughout our multiple delays due to COVID. She even provided us with a wheelchair accessible portable restroom when our alternative plan fell through two days before the wedding. At the wedding, she and her team knew how to contribute to the fun environment while making sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone was taken care of--they even delivered food and drinks to our relatives with mobility impairments. Our family members stayed in their cottages and were really happy with the accommodations. And last-but-not least, Erin was even there to help me with a dress snafu and gave me quick alterations so I could get back out on the dance floor. I wish I could relive this night. Do yourself a favor and book Compass Point for your wedding!

I don’t think words can express how amazing Compass Point Events is! We had seen a few venues but they either didn’t offer enough amenities for the price or didn’t have the right feel, but the moment I stepped into compass point events I knew that was where I had to get married. It was fairly stress-free and very affordable. I was worried because I was told that wedding planning was stressful however Compass Point Events made it a wonderful experience! The food was fabulous, the staff was amazing, the flowers they arranged for us were beautiful, and they really do put so much love and hard work into the venue. I will forever recommend Compass Point Events!

Everything about Compass Point Events is absolute perfection. From the beautiful venue, to the expertise of Erin, Amy and team, to the actual day of the event… flawless. The women at Compass Point are rockstars and they definitely know how to plan and throw a party. They make the process easy and stress free. My wedding was so beautiful thanks to everyone at Compass Point. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue and people to share this experience with.

Wow! I cannot recommend Compass Point Events more for your wedding, party, or other special event! We recently got married at the venue and it was absolutely beautiful and Erin and her team made everything so easy and wonderful. The venue is gorgeous, below is one picture from our wedding, but I cannot wait for the professional photos to come back because there were so many beautiful locations for photos. The venue comes with cottages on property that you and your guests can rent - I highly recommend staying in them, our guests loved their charm and convenience. I also have to rave about the food - Chef made the most delicious dishes and along with soup and main courses there were 10 appetizers that were huge hits with everyone. Erin is very easy to work with and she made the wedding day, ceremony, and reception a breeze and so fun for us as a couple and my family. Erin was my florist for the wedding with amazing results and I recommend adding her florist skills to your day. The venue recommended DJ, Rex was incredible and made the night so fun as did the on-site cash bar that kept the party safe on property and going late into the night!

Absolutely perfect. I was planning a wedding during covid, hurricane warnings, and rainy season. We decided the last week of September was our best bet. I had about 85 people outside. Tables were socially distant and the venue was Absolutely gorgeous. Erin and Ami were super accommodating and provided the best service to my guest. Im blown away with happiness and the weather held up. The pics don't do it justice but I attached a few for reference

A lovely ferry ride to this beautiful spot. Staff was so kind and attentive. Food was local fare and delicious. You can't go wrong with this venue.

My daughters wedding here was perfect. The staff here worked so hard to make sure that our families and guest were happy and taken care of. I can not thank Erin and Lou Lou enough for everything that they did and for all of the hard work that put into my daughters wedding. Their catering was on point and the flower arrangements that Erin made we absolutely beautiful. The entire staff were hard working, kind, and extremely attentive to all of our guest. We rented all of the guest houses and loved them all. This is the perfect all inclusive wedding venue!!! Take a load off of your shoulders and enjoy peace of mind by using Compass Point Events. This is the perfect wedding venue.

Went to a wedding there, very cute place. Decorated very nicely. Kind of in the middle of nowhere though. Don't wear high heels if you will be outside, they will sink in the ground.

My daughter was married at Compass Point on June 20, 2020. Erin and Amy went out of their way to offer a special and safe wedding by keeping the guests to 10 and spacing out the chairs in their outdoor area. Erin created a bouquet for my daughter that was out of this world. The joy that we experienced by seeing our daughter united with the love of her life was beyond amazing. I highly recommend this venue for any event. The vibe is both casual and elegant. The property is beautiful and the location embodies all that is special about New Orleans. Beyond those tangible qualities, the most important part of this venue is the amazing women who own this place. Erin and Amy went above and beyond both in the beginning of our planning stages prior to COVID-19 and after when they welcomed us to the property for a special ceremony to allow my daughter and her husband to exchange their vows in this amazing location. We are looking forward to the re-scheduled reception next summer. Thank you Erin and Amy. There are no words to express my deepest gratitude for your hand in making Julie's wedding day so special.

Extremely beautiful venue! I went for a wedding in November and the setup was stunning! The decor inside was magnificent and outside was just as nice. The servers did such a fantastic job by the time the buffet opened I was already full! I will definitely look into hosting future events here for myself. The only downside was the mosquitoes!!! But hey that's out of their control, 5 stars from me!!

Beautiful venue. However, was not allowed to dance outside, no knowledge of hooking up music to pa, after dinner was over the owner kicked everyone out and wedding celebrations were all of a sudden over at 8 pm. Owner walked around in street attire for some reason and seemingly quite grumpy. Paid a lot of money for a 5 hour wedding that honestly could have been planned by a monkey the way it was set up. If you plan on being married here, prepare to do most of everything yourself and be cut off and kicked out of wedding reception. We love New orleans, but are quite disappointed that $10,000 got us 5 hours standing outside and eating a dinner. Makes me want to start my own wedding venue, seems easy enough

I was lucky enough to be married here this June. The owner/coordinator worked to help us plan a wonderful weekend that included the lodging options offered on site. From bachelor party to the reception, we were wonderfully accommodated. Thanks to Erin, highly recommend.

I went to a friend's wedding here. It's in a secluded location and the space has oak trees, a grassy area, a deck that was perfect for dancing. The food was good, the ceremony was lovely. The weather held off and it was a nice time.

It was a pleasure to work with the staff at Compass Point! We gave my baby sister a sweet 16 birthday party and the staff was so accommodating! I have never had customer service as great as I did here. I actually plan to have other events with them. I cannot thank them enough, WORTH EVERY PENNY. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience with Compass Pointe. The staff was so polite and accommodating and willing to do above and beyond what was expected. The ground were so beautifully manicured and decorated with Christmas lights and nutcrackers very festive. Although it was not my daughter sweet sixteen theme, it added a lot of class and elegance. The weather was beautiful, so we were able to take advantage of the outside space. The sky is the limit of what you can do at this venue, because most venue have tons of limitations and that makes it hard to have a vision of what you want to do. My daughter was very happy to spend time with her friends and have space to roam around. The servers were dressed accordingly and met everyone's needs so I wouldn't have to run around. I plan on using this venue again and again because each event won't fill like the same venu, because they make your dreams come true. If you don't know about this venue, trust me you need to know. My daughter had such a great time for her party that she wanted to write her own review about Compass Pointe, that's says a lot because teenagers don't talk much. Oh and I forgot to mention, if your event is at night, driving up to this event with lights hanging off the tree, absolutely breathe taking and these lights hang all year round. I have 5 daughters, no ones married yet so Compass Pointe is going to be seeing a lot of my family in the next few decades. Thanks Compass Pointe for make my daughter sweet sixteen so special.
