Awesome place to see a concert if you enjoy being up close to the band. Drink prices are comparable to other bars/restaurants. The bar staff could be a little more attentive/friendly. I went to my first standing room only concert here last week and it was amazing. The sound system was crisp and clear. I will definitely be going back as soon as I can! Oh and the bands f*^×£©g rocked too 😁

Saw the 3 Dimensional Tour tonight and was introduced to a couple bands I'd never heard before. I've been a fan on New Politics for a while now but never heard Plain White T's or The Mowgli's before. It was a solid performance from all three, and I recommend all three if you aren't familiar with them. I found the Cowan's choice of placing a tech (with folded arms, completely disinterested, and doing nothing) on stage, directly next to the drummer of the first two bands, to be unusual and distracting from the overall performance. The guitar techs were placed off to the side of the stage, and were actually doing something (I counted 4 guitar swaps in just ONE of the NP's songs!). The audio system COMPLETELY FAILED TWICE during the New Politics' performance. First time was just a second, the second time was for a few seconds and was kind of a buzz kill. The turnout was surprisingly low for a new venue, downtown Nashville, Saturday night, low ticket prices, and relatively known bands. This is only good or bad depending on your point of view. Overall it's not a bad venue. The drink prices are comparable to other Nashville venues. The sound was good. Parking wasn't too bad considering they share the lot with Top Golf. They have valet for $5 if you want to avoid that. All the staff I ran into were super nice. I'll have to come back for another show to know if the technical issues were just a fluke.

Wonderful venue. Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff that was ready to answer all my questions. Highly recommend this place for both Great V. I P. Shows or just General admission fun. The golf range and bar have an extensive selection of fun and their food is top notch. Very clean as well.

Nice concert venue. Not too big or too small. Drinks a little excessively priced. One thing I really didnt like about the foster the people concert was the lighting. Keep the lighting on the band not in the audiences faces. I saw Mark Fosters face like one time. The rest of the time they are basically a silhouette.

I moved here to Nashville in 2007 from Los Angeles and I have seen this city change. Since then I have been looking for the perfect spot to see my favorite metal bands and I think I found it. Thank you to the crew at Cowan. And please keep bring in bands like corrosion of conformity that band means a lot to me it kept me away from insanity living in LA so I will be coming back. First time at this venue. I was highly impressed. The staff was nice. The restrooms were clean. The sound was on point. I was there for a rock concert. Perfect amount of loud! There is free parking. A separate external entrance and a "VIP" internal entrance.

Great place to see a show. Drinks are a little pricey, but that's to be expected at any venue. Staff is awesome, lighting is great, the tacos are good, and the room is perfectly sized and shaped that you have a good view from literally anywhere in it.

We enjoy seeing shows here. All of the staff has always been very friendly and helpful, from the valet folks to security to the bartenders. The bathrooms are clean, along with the rest of the venue. Acoustics and lighting are great as well. There's also a really cool VIP area which is elevated.

Awesome venue. Sound system is great. We were standing really close to the stage but it still was not overwhelming or piercing like some other sound systems. Kudos to the sound guys. Only complaint is the drinks are a little pricey. Two mixed drinks (whiskey and coke and vodka and sprite) were around 18.50.

The sound was pretty good but there's just something off about a music venue attached to a Top Golf. The bar didn't offer anything special but you could get bud light and Jack Daniel's so not a total loss. The shows they book don't make a ton of sense, but hey if someone you want to see is playing there, it's probably worth going. Don't think I'd go for artists I'm not familiar with though. Not enough redeeming qualities in the venue to make up for a bad or boring show.

I was skeptical of a venue at top golf at first but actually it's very nice. I absolutely recommend getting balcony seats as you can eat and enjoy the show like never before. Acoustics we're really nice and they served tacos and popcorn which in itself is pretty dope.

I am a HUGE fan of this venue! I've seen in excess of 18 shows here and it's now my favorite venue to see bands! The service from the staff and security is A+ and it's always well staffed. The sound is consistent in fact it's better then all the other venues and the lighting is killer! They are booking bands that used to go to other venues which is great, it holds the perfect amount of people. If you are considering seeing a show there I highly recommend The Cowan!!

We really enjoyed this establishment. It reminds of our very own Swinger's but on another level. The food was delicious and awesome. We had even enjoyed some drive time after dinner. Be sure to read the fine lines of the hourly rates! We went on a Saturday evening and our rate was $50/hour including $5 membership fee for new guests. But the hour was just enough for us! A must try for those who can or cannot play, it's simply fun.

I love this place. They have great bands, great food, super clean bathrooms, and they keep the drinking legal and they have bartenders who keep the drink sales in check to who might or might not need them. The venue itself is extremely spacious and its very easy to get to the stage. Not to mention that the parking is close and extremely convenient. I will never go back to Rocketown ever again

Doors opened about twenty minutes later than the ticket stated, which would not have been a big deal except that it was raining and there is no cover for the line. They also rerouted the line after 30 or so of us had already been waiting, so that was confusing and frustrating since it was impossible to keep the original order. Once inside the set up is good and I was impressed that staff brought out chairs for those of us in the balcony that did not get one of the 20ish "reserved" seats. Bartender was awesome, friendly and smiling. Unfortunately we had a group next to us that was talking loudly over the music with no regard for others, but that is certainly not the fault of the venue! Decent food, great sound and lights. Overall a great experience.

Gets good shows, and has in and out access. Decently priced beer, but overall, can't help but feel the place is too sterile. Bathrooms are playing a different music than the venue and it's off-putting.

Went to see Adventure club and it was incredible. The balcony is definitely the best place for any concert viewing. the bar was great the smoking being so close was also a great plus. I would definitely return again.

Best music venue in Nashville. Perfect size, capacity is about 600 which means you will have a great view. Upstairs balcony has its own bar and tables, and outdoor balcony was closed off when I went but looked like it would be really nice in the summer time. Cool and well ventilated. The best acoustics in nashville, you can see lots of details like the shape of the room, giant acoustic panels on the walls, the sound system, etc. Everything comes together so well, properly loud with clean listening from anywhere in the room, without it being uncomfortably loud. They have a very large 20' projection screen thats either backlit or closely lit that nothing on stage cast a shadow, the raceway lighting is modern and well controlled. Even small details like 6 fire exits, attentive staff mopping up spilled drinks on the floor withput being intrusive. Bathrooms were clean, well stocked, and abundant for the size of the venue. Free parking on site and its security patrolled. Drinks could be cheaper, 16oz blue moon in a can was $7, seems pretty normal priced for a venue like this but ive paid less at other places nearby. This is my new favorite concert venue, its got everything I'm looking for.

I see alot of shows in Nashville and this might the oddest but now my new favorite! Yes it is paired with a driving range but top to bottom they know what they are doing and do it well. A staff can make or break any venue and The Cowan have a first class, professional and friendly staff. I brought my Son to the show and had made a mix up with the tickets I'd purchased. Immediately at the door I was taken care of and it was smooth sailing from there. The venue is intimate and sounds amazing as well. The prices are totally reasonable and parking and access to the area is really simple right off of 24. We ate at the restraunt which was great and well priced too. Security were perfect and were friendly and helpful as well. I would reccomend to buy balcony seats early because they go fast! One of my best experiences at a show ever!

Drinks are pricey but comparable or less expensive compared to other *new/trendy* Nashville bars ($16 for an LIT, sturdily poured, I've been charged $19 for a weaker drink), bartenders are attentive (tip 'em heavy). Bathrooms are very clean, well lit, no sketch factor. Staff is polite & professional. As a venue, sound was excellent and video seemed on point/no obvious glitches. Free parking. Great job y'all. Venue is incredibly modern and nice/clean however the drinks were pretty high, even for a venue, and the flow of the place made zero sense. The bathroom and front door are right next to each other so the traffic was awful and there was only 1 bar, also in the front door traffic.

Top Golf used to be a great place. Been to others many times this location once. Took my grandson there to teach him golf and had a pretty good time. When I got the bill they added a fee for a reservation, I didn't make a reservation, did a walk in. Wanted to add my grandson to the shot list but the only way to have this done was to buy him a membership, why would I want to do tis, he lives out of town and there is no Top Golf there. I'm willing to pay the hourly rate and aa little more for the food, which is actually pretty good, but I don't like being nicked and dimed with $5 here and there. The people that work the driving area and serve are great regardless of the price of water.

I drove in from Kansas City for the Myles Kennedy show. It’s sort of weird since the Cowan is attached to the VERY busy and crowded TopGolf. Parking was interesting (as they said it would be— you can valet for $5) but the crowd in TopGolf at the bar and in the TopGolf lobby was rowdy and really turned me off. We sat in the bar area for awhile before the concert and it was very loud and FULL of people. So keep that in mind. It doesn’t really give you the feel like you’re about to see live music. The fact that most people at TopGolf had no idea who Myles Kennedy even was didn’t help with the pre-show atmosphere most people like when they’re watching live music. Drinks and food are mid-range priced but I can only compare to Kansas City prices since I’m not familiar with Nashville. I think my orange dream cocktail was 9.50 and my dinner (Mushi— very spicy!) was $11. It was good. My boyfriend got a Manhattan for $10 and the nachos w/ chicken. Can’t remember how much they were but they were DELISH! The actual Cowan venue is clean. The acoustics were good. We bought VIP tickets but I wouldn’t waste your money on that. They oversold the VIP area, so many people ended up standing all night (myself included). That was really disappointing since the whole draw of VIP was that we’d have a place to sit. The occupancy sign read max 49 people, but A quick headcount put me at about 65 up there. And roughly 20-25 of us stood the entire time. Also, there is not bathroom access upstairs in The Cowan. It’s just the TopGolf bathroom in the lobby. I didn’t use it. If you do get a seat, you had a really great view. And there was a bar upstairs which was nice. My boyfriend had a few interesting (that’s putting it nicely) interactions in the bathroom. One man cut in front of everyone in line and pissed in the sink. Another was talking about all the “fat chicks”. I realize that TopGolf and The Cowan can’t control their patrons, but I thought I’d say it so people are aware what kind of crowd is being drawn there. It was nice. I wouldn’t seek out The Cowan unless someone I really loved was playing there.

I just saw Bomba Estereo in concert here. It’s a nice little venue/bar on the back side of a golf driving range. The main drawback was that we had to stand for the entire concert because there are no seats.

You have the chance to build a venue from scratch and you make a concrete square. Room does not sound good with a lot of reflections everywhere. Drinks are ten a pop too so not adding to the experience

The location is a bit odd for Nashville, as it's attached to the TopGolf location which seems out of place at first, given the history of the area. But the bar was clean and there were choices of brews even for people watching their carb intake. The tacos were good, if a bit pricey for bar fare, though I have to add if you're going to do cantina style tacos, do it right and get a deep fryer to heat them up in the way the Taco Gods demand.

OMG, we had a "BLAST" I am not even kidding. It was well worth the wait to indulge in fun, food, and laughter! Golf was mostly the funny part. But "OH" the food... Grilled Steak Flatbread oh my, it's good plus a tall glass of Arnold Palmer tea deliciously yummy, the Pulled Pork Sliders where divine, but wait, "WOW" the Injectible Donuts is a game changer!! A very pleasant place we will go back.

The Cowan is a unique concert venue. It is apart of Topgolf Nashvile. This is the only Topgolf with a concert venue attached. They have a variety of shows to attend. You can rent out the space for events or even attend a FREE Nashville Predator's watch party while being served food and beverages(those are not free haha)

Rock Solid Security was hired to monitor the event at this venue, and boi oh boi were they both obtrusive and overwhelmed. Imagine, security mixed and hidden in the crowd, looking down over the crowd, and placed in the bathrooms to question you if you’re actually taking a number two. And if all of that weren’t enough, they must have gotten confused because they were walking through the crowd strobing their flashlights around as if they were part of the show. At one point towards the end, two of the security guards were up front doing this together, back towards the crowd, and in that moment it was clear that these men missed their calling and were doing their best to stand out at someone else’s show. Bar service meh. Bathrooms exist. Aesthetic is good. Super cool name. Sadly, doubt I’ll be back. Boogie T, thank you for another amazing show. Hope to catch you again soon!
