What an amazing venue! Everything was perfect. Staff was friendly. And the backdrop as the sun set was breathtaking. Can't think of a better spot to listen to the music I love !!
Tim Dolan
Had an absolutely awesome time on Saturday. Our first visit to Bluestem left us impressed. A rainy day, however minutes before crowds began to pour in staff was painstakingly drying every chair. Sound quality was great. Seating angles were awesome. Beverage options and food trucks were perfect. We will definitely be back!
Tina Lea

What an amazing venue. They can host pretty much anything. Concerts to plays cross country races all take place here.
Lindsey Krenz
Love this venue! It is cozy and beautiful! Anywhere you sit you will be able to see the stage!
Steve Henry
Good venue, every seat is close compared with the big amphitheatres. Easy to get food, drinks, bathroom. Lights and sound are top notch.
Not much parking onsite! Plan ahead about that.
sue starkenburg
FM Symphony Rocks! Fantastic concert at a fantastic venue! Would like a few more snacks available and signage for where the food trucks were located would have been nice.
Charles Votava
First time visitor for the Violent Femmes concert in September. Loved the venue! Will be back for more.
Nicolle Richter
Beautiful venue to see the SYMPHONY ROCKS concert. only drawback is access - give yourself PLENTY of time as it's one lane in, one lane out.
Tony Ladouceur
Great experience overall! The sound system was great and the facilities are very well. maintained. Parking was a little walk but no biggie. Definitely coming back.
Mark Henke
Excellent outdoor concert venue. Not a bad spot in the place.
S L
I only attended a cross country meet here but the grounds were nice.
Joe PALAMARA
Nice outdoor venue
Only one way in and out but they have the traffic Control down to a T
Darla Rufer
Beautiful venue. Jason Mraz said it looks like America's backyard.
Pat Long-Wu
I'm from out of town and never seen a place
Like this before, it was really amazing.
Fargo. Morehead youth symphony orchestra
Was playing.
Bear Oldcastle
Been here for concerts and it's a nice venue. Also been here for winter and summer weddings. The indoor facilities is great. The outdoor facilities are also nice looking and quite scenic by the river. The industrial kitchen is nice and has a ice machine, large insulated food holders, and some large fridges. It's a great place for events.
Kent K
A very good venue. I think the best venue in Fargo, Morehead area. There isn't a bad seat like others.
Samson Natal
Amazing venue to catch outdoor shows, like Wilco and Jeff Tweedy
Heather Yager
The staff were not the most pleasant . Not very nice. Rhe facility and shaw was great!
Shadde Wicks
Great venue
I've only been to concerts here but it's a nice venue for 3000 or so people. You can buy reserved or general admission seating. I wouldn't bother with reserved seating because there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The shows have to end by 10pm because there are residential areas around but it works well with shows during the work week because you know you'll be out by 10. The bathrooms are well kept, multiple food vendors work there and there's several places to get a beverage so no long waits in line. Great venue to watch a concert.
Steven Brown
We have gone here a couple times and we've enjoyed it every time. Everything is always on time, staff is always friendly and helpful, and the shows are excellent. Parking is good and the acoustics are great. Definitely a fun time and they have shows for kids too. The kids will love it! Plus you're out in the open air and what's not to like about that?
Shelly Dillon
Amazing experience even in the rain! Truly not a bad seat in the place!
Aaron Fatland
Place is amazing for outdoor shows. You'll definitely love the atmosphere here is pretty laid back and open. The only downside is of course parking getting in and out can be painful. On the other side there's good bike access to the venue and a bunch of racks. There's a nice little back way in on 3rd St S it avoids 75 if you're on bike or walking.
Ronald Deraas
Fantastic event center. Great concert
Casey Jensen
Great concert venue! Great sound during the show, nice facilities, and great food vendors!
Lisa Romano
Always a gorgeous venue for a great evening of entertainment. Bring a blanket & some sort of cushion with a back to it if you're sitting in the GA section! Trollwood musicals are always worth a trip to see!
John Sagsveen
Awesome venue, not a bad seat in the house
Brian Voit
A fantastic place to catch a live show. Worth the drive up from the Twin Cites
Jessi Mithun
There is only one road in-and-out of this place. If you're going to the a show, plan on going at least 2 hours early . We had to wait an hour to move about a mile. However, once you're in the venue, there is not a bad seat in the house because it is a pretty intimate small outdoor arena. We had general admission lawn and brought blankets and patio cushions.
Tracy Bieger
Beautiful setting, intimate feel. There were a lot of people sitting behind us (we were in the top row of GA seating) that were having very loud conversations and laughing loud, not paying attention to the artist at all. So I would avoid sitting near the "deck" seating that groups can rent, I get the feeling maybe companies or big parties give tickets to people who aren't necessarily there for concert.
Mary Mitchell
Beautiful venue and great acoustics! However, be aware that once your ticket is scanned, you cannot re-enter, even with a wrist band. We got there early and went in to put our seat pads down expecting to go back to the car to eat our amazing tailgate food but were not allowed. Some of our party had left purses and other important items back at the vehicle. Not sure why they have wristbands if you cannot re-enter the venue.
Mike Larson
The place is excellent, our first show there and everything was perfect!
Heidi Lider
One of the best venues I have been to. Amazing atmosphere and the staff is great. I am physically handicapped and they did everything they could to make sure I had the best experience possible which included getting me seated to be out of the way of people and have full view of the show. I cannot wait to attend another concert here.
Nay Davis
Attended the Incubus concert. Cute small venue and very convenient that there were buses. Actual school buses but I mean buses to get you there from local bars and establishments for I think 5 bucks or 10? I don’t know I cannot remember but I wish I would of brought a blanket the grass was itchy to sit on and we had to be there quite early for good seats. But I enjoyed it.
Joshua Dulas
Absolute GEM of a venue! So small and intimate and the sound was amazing.
Tracey Janisch
The acoustics are great at this location. If you have never done a outdoor event where you're in a bowl this is definitely a place to check out. The GA seating is on the sides with seating in middle. You can sit in the lawn and also bring a blanket with you. They also have GA sitting in the back but you're sitting on cement basically so I can get a little rough on back. I would definitely not recommend buying tickets in the front row as security is right on top of you. They do offer a premium seating that's at the very top where you have your own bathrooms and bartenders. They have tables and chairs along with canopies to sit under. We would go back to see more concerts for sure.
Craig L
A great place for life music. They usually have a good selection of food vendors to the left of the seats as you face the stage. To the right you can find beer and other drinks. The walk from the parking lot is long so be prepared. They have staff on hand with golf carts to help people to the entrance. Traffic is jammed up for twenty minutes when the events finish. If you're in a hurry to get somewhere, you should leave the event before it's over. The seating numbers are a little whacky. They are numbered even on one side and odd on the other. If you buy tickets that are numbered in sequence thinking your sitting with someone, you're not. It's outdoors. Bring bug spray and sun glasses.
Jean K
Great place for a concert. We lucked out with a gorgeous evening of weather. Beware if it's rainy, to bring a jacket because it isn't covered. Restrooms and concessions are on both left and right side. Sound was amazing. Be ready to take quite a hike to your car or if you are calling a cab or uber you will wait a long time because of sheer volume of people doing that. We will definitely check out future concerts now that we know where it is and have been there. It's really quite a place.
RC Courtright
Great environment for a show (in our case, "We Will Rock You!", a musical based on the music of Queen). Very much enjoyed our first visit despite being a bit chilly & breezy. We also enjoyed the handful of food truck-style options available to grab a bite before (and, if you like, during) the show.
Brian S
Entering and exiting the area is an absolute nightmare, with only one road leading to parking area. One experienced local brought lawn chairs and a cooler and waited the hour for exiting to finish. That experience coupled with concessions grouped in small area prevented me from giving 5 stars. Aside from that, it's a beautiful and intimate venue with unique architecture. Seating is a little different with odd #'s on the left and even on the right, which actually made it easier to locate your seat. Too bad they couldn't extend that sense to parking.
Rachel Kastet
What an amazing place for a show. We went for the Incubus concert and had an absolute blast. The only complaint I have was the crazy long line for adult beverages. I feel this could have been avoided with more workers or an extra location. I will definitely be back again!
Tyler Hill
Drove up from Iowa for the Robert Plant/Lillie Mae show. Great outdoor venue. Enjoyed being able to get up and walk the lawn during the show. Good vendors as well. Will be watching the schedule for any future trips.
Shawnda Rosdahl
Fantastic music venue! Very well organized, super friendly and helpful event staff! I'll definitely be coming back!!!
Bernie Lies
Sister had tickets for Woodstock Show, invited me to attend, beautiful evening, started @ 6:00pm, got in there little late & missed Jimmy Hendrix tribute... could've started a tad later, it was right over supper hour & she had to drive in from out of town.
Drinks spendy, bring your own water, unopened. Security were checking, but nice about it. For Chicago concert, stricter w/ what you brought in.
Meghan Battest
For the past few summers, I've attended the Trollwood theater shows here, though I have yet to attend a concert (fingers crossed for this summer season!).
Once you attend a show at Bluestem, you want to attend EVERY show at Bluestem. The venue is incredible. You sit under the sky and the sun sets just behind the stage. It's open to the elements, so make sure you bring the right clothing.
As other reviews mention, the parking situation could be better, but that would never stop me from attending an event here.
In the summer, this is one of the best places in Fargo-Moorhead for music and theater. Just go! You'll love it.
Toni Kunz
Not good for disabled. Hills Due storm we had to cram into restrooms for safety. Restrooms unavailable for over 1.5 hrs while we were "sheltered". We either had to stay in restroom with drunken people or go to car. If we went back to vehicle, we would NOT be acollowed back in later for concert.
Dave Foerster
Had a great Cross Country meet there today.
Devil With The Green Eyes
Never disappointed. Great concert experience every time!
Charles Bair
Great facility. Loved the free water.
Michael Koska
We go to Relevant Life Church here every Sunday. It's a great view and a lot of real estate for activities. I haven't went to any live events here, but it seems like it would be a great setting.
Sarah Gerlitz-Mondry
No bad seats in the house. Get there at least an hour to an hour and a half early though for the best parking and general admission seating! Bring lots of cash... their concessions are VERY expensive!!! $3 for a bottle of pop/water $4 for Twizzlers!!!
Steve Schaefer
Awesome venue! Great performance. We're so fortunate to have this in our community.
Kelly Lofberg
Great experience. Awesome music. Need more food vendors to accommodate the amount of people. Need better system for cocktails.
Joe Black

Magical, as always! My 4 year old granddaughter was enchanted and mesmerized by Cinderella. Expect to see her on the this stage someday!
Diana Bjerke

Jake Ihle
Every seat is great. No obstructed views. Experiencing a concert here is memorable. An F-M area gem.
Alex Rebman
Nice place, outside, cheaper tickets are sitting on stone walls, and the higher ticket prices are actual plastic seats. Performance was good, concessions are a bit expensive but good.
Lillian Mulder
The shows they put on here are always enjoyable. You can tell the passion the kids have and all their hard work shows. Definitely a highlight every summer!
Kim Stadsvold
Great outdoor venue even when it’s Minnesota ‘chilly’ out. Great food choices available. Happy with the general admission seating.
Earl Garletz
