Had a wonderful experience at Shushu henna, a Somali henna salon in the Greenway building on Lyndale. Shushu had multiple wedding parties but was able to squeeze me in for a single hand/wrist. The space is bright and open, a nice alternative to the Somali henna locations at the Karmel mall off Lake St (though I’ve had many great experiences there too and love the sense of community). Shushu’s work was fast and clean and I’m really pleased with the result. As with many smaller salons, cash preferred but cards are accepted. Will definitely go back, but will book an appointment online next time and bring a friend!

I hade the most amazing time at this place because the staff were so amazing specially Shushu. She is so professional and so kind. The space is also so relaxing because of beautiful it is and how nice it smells. There is also free Wi-Fi that you can enjoy while waiting to get your services done. Plus this place is one stop shop when you are going to a date night/wedding. I was able to get henna, do my hair and dress up from the same place. Tell me anywhere in Minneapolis you can find a place like that. I can’t wait to go back and get my winter stuff from there!!!!!!

Shushu thank you so much for making my daughter hair so beautiful, they loved their eid henna too, you have managed to make them sit while getting their henna and hair done; it takes me hours to just have them sit for me. I appreciate how kind and sweet you are. Your services are outstanding Maashallah, your spa and salon is what Minneapolis really needed especially for a moms like me who want a clean but also safe place for themselves and children. Eid days are always busy moments for us but having organized space for us to feel relaxed and happy while waiting for our henna was lovely. Thank you walal. We love you and can’t wait to come back soon.

Had one of the best EXPERIENCE, Shushu Henna does provide bathroom I would disagree with you on that Sahra Robel. The reason why the bathroom was closed is because it was out of service. Please do so visit again so you can experience what I have experienced. If you came in during the holidays please keep in mind that everyone including myself had to wait.
