Very beautiful place! We went to see a Candlelight show that they were having there and we loved it. The best part? I liked being able to order drinks while we enjoyed the show. The bartender named Dallas was such a nice guy. The venue is super beautiful too and made for great pictures. The worst part? The only reason I docked a star was because a couple times during the show, sounds from the street interrupted. I’m not sure if there is any way that they could have closed front doors or something to mute the outside noise better but it was so loud at times, that even the voila stopped playing during one of the songs. There was also this noise from the stage or near it that was causing a clicking sound throughout the whole show and it was really distracting. Other then that, I’d visit this theatre again.

We love Granada Theater Minneapolis! The food from Uptown Lobby (Front Dining and Bar Area) is really good! The drinks were tasty. The staff was friendly and quick to meet any of our needs. The theater is beautiful and a must see! We can’t wait to go back.

Wow!!! I never ever seen this venue but it’s breathtaking! You do not feel like you are in the twins cities! The bartenders are nice and make great drinks! Has a full bar. I just loved the entire set up and flow of this venue! I can’t wait to go back! Great for Galas!

Went to the candlelight quartet show at the Granada and had a wonderful time. The venue is beautiful (did not experience any street noise as another reviewer said) and staff were great. We ate and drank at the bar during their ‘Crabby Hour’ HH from 4-6pm (and 8-10pm and all day Sunday). It entails 1/2 off local taps, $2 off wine and $3 off cocktails plus a variety of appetizers on special (check their menu online). If you’re planning on eating and drinking before a show and want a table it is recommended to make a reservation. (We were able to walk in to the bar sans reservation.) For dinner we had their stuffed popovers with chorizo & manchego cheese (steaming hot, made to order, delicious), I had their mojo shrimp ($18) which was sizzling hot shrimp in a cast iron with garlic and white wine and likely butter served with grilled bread (delicious - would totally get it again) and my partner had their monster burger ($19) huge burger w bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce, fennel slaw and crispy fried onions plus it came with truffle fries. He loved it and devoured it. Mandy was our bartender/server and was excellent and very accommodating. She made me a mean old fashioned! We will definitely be back!

We held our Christmas networking event here and it was STELLAR! The venue has so much class and atmosphere. It was perfect for our "murder mystery" event. Yummy appetizers, good drinks, and a wonderful space. We highly recommend this venue for your event.

Attended a candlelight concert last night and WOW. What an awesome venue! Intimate setting, not a bad seat anywhere, and everything sounded great.

The venue has a lot of potential and there are really cool "old theater" aspects of the interior that they've presented. The sound system was pretty lackluster though and we had to be close to the stage to feel any bass. Drink specials were good enough, but will I go back? Or do I just pay a little more and go where I can get great sound?

The theater is fantastic. Seating was nicely spaced and comfortable. The private bar was a nice touch. I was a little disappointed with the show. I felt the description was misleading.

Great venue, the remodel to a venue space was respectful of the architectural details of the former theater. Use of the space was excellent.

We had our wedding and reception at the Granada. The venue provided the magical setting we wanted. The staff was super friendly, and Amy was super flexible about set-up and rehearsal. They were able to project specific background scenes we wanted, and had a great bridal suite for hair and makeup. The lobby was perfect for our guests to hang out and grab drinks before the wedding and during the transition to the reception, and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this as a venue, and my husband and I will be coming to eat at the restaurant portion at least every year on our anniversary if not more often.

Let's be clear. We essentially paid $50 per person to sit on hard chairs for an hour and watch a "candlelight concert" consisting of five guys who sounded as if they had never played together on the same stage before. Some of it was entertaining, but other songs sounded like the individual band members were on different planets. It was like we paid good money to watch them rehearse.

The thing is, the owner has excellent taste in decor, musical acts, and ambiance. It's true that bar prices are more expensive than the front of house/restaurant area. It is also true that the bartenders require further training on: how to smile, apologize for the wait, move a little faster, and have kinder dispositions. Lastly, if you're going to dance, be prepared for the air to get VERY warm. There are no ceiling fans or cross breeze, so it gets f-ing HOT 🔥🔥🔥! 😊

I only had a very nice glass of Pinot Noir today but there is a bar menu AND 'live" music later, to boot. I will be back !

I had no idea this event space existed, but what a fun date night for the Candlelight Concert offered by Fever productions. Granada offers full bar services and restaurant food options too. Loved the concert space with table set on the floor amongst electronic candles, Twinkle stars in the ceiling, and a cloud scape too. The all-female string quartet was wonderful. High quality music with low-key presentation. Comfortable being present in nice jeans and button down, or dressed to the nines. A great date night at a fun event space.

I really enjoy just showing up and enjoying good conversation with sophisticated dialog, yet I'm always impressed with the mixologist and now the amazing chef -- they have Bison ribeye, yep, I said Bison.... unbelievable and I mean unbelievably delicious.... don't go, because once you do you'll definitely be going back, fun venue....

Wonderful, old theater with very good food and a supreme staff. Went to see Kvon comedy show, had a fun filled evening, with comfortable chairs, candle lit tables clothed in white table clothes under an in door stary , stary night. I simply can't say enough about the team of people working there making it a memorable experience.

Great place for weekend brunch. Friendly staff. Good food..not crowded...yet...no wait to get in...great streetside seating while its still kinda warm and VERY affordable prices. (Translation) 👍🏼👎🏼The beers are very good and at a good price, good atmosphere but the music is not the best... people dance to them because that's what they are about but if they gave me the opportunity to put real salsa that is danced in Puerto Rico, New York and Panama that place would be filled from Monday to Sunday. I am new in the city and it seems that the DJs only go to comply and collect their payment because they do not put anything good and leave the computer playing music alone and what comes out comes out. (Original) 👍🏼👎🏼Las cervezas muy buenas y a buen precio, buen ambiente pero la música no es la mejor.. la gente las baila porque a eso van pero si me dieran la oportunidad de ponerle verdadera salsa que se baila en Puerto Rico, New York y Panamá ese lugar se llenaría de lunes a domingo. Soy nuevo en la ciudad y parece que los djs solo van por cumplir y cobrar su pago porque no ponen nada bueno y dejan la compu poniendo musica sola y lo que sale sale.
