We were lucky to be one of the first several couples married at The Starling, and the Two Birds Event Group did not disappoint! First a HUGE shoutout to Tanner, whom we worked with leading up to the event, and to Tyler who led our Wedding day as event coordinator. We had many questions throughout the process as we were planning our big day ourselves, and The Starling team was there to answer each and every one, and did not make us feel like we were burdening them. They truly did all they could to help make our day special, even down to letting us come in to perfect our signature drinks. (Speaking of drinks, they also have such an amazing array of cocktails and draft beers! And the bartenders were so, so friendly) The space itself turned out perfect! We loved the layout, as it was an easy transition from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. And then inside it feels to flow seamlessly from reception dinner to the dance floor, to the bar. And the space lends itself to allow additional seating for our guests who weren’t on the dance floor, to relax on the other end of the bar. Also, if you choose to have your ceremony on the boardwalk in summer, as we did, there's a good chance that boats will go by and cheer for you- which we found to be so much fun. Also for my husband and I, it was a nice “ice breaker” in a sense, and helped relieve some nerves and tension. Overall, The Starling team was just amazing, so truly, thank you again for helping make such a beautiful day/evening for us.

We took a gamble on the Starling before the Starling had renovated. They did not disappoint. We initially worked with Tyler. He quickly answered all of our questions about securing the venue and was very flexible in accommodating our smaller wedding. Sarah was assigned as our event coordinator and was fabulous from start to finish. She was really easy to work with. Our ceremony was outdoors on the patio. It was simple, yet beautiful. We leaned into MKE and embraced all the cheers from the boats. Our guests enjoyed drinks on the boardwalk and a place to take a break from the music. Sarah also helped us design a "King's Table" setup inside. The venue didn't feel too large despite only 25 guests. The team did a great job designing a place to eat, a place to dance, and a place to sit. Our guests felt they could move about and enjoy the day in different ways. Nick was an excellent dj. Because it is a small, locally owned business, both Sarah and Nick were doing it all: from bartending to cleaning to helping all of the guests. We appreciated them both. We loved the venue. It felt intimate and relaxed yet everyone was able to dance and sing. We will remember this day forever and we are thankful The Starling and Team were a part of it.

We booked Starling for our early October wedding based on the amazing location in the third ward, the outdoor ceremony space with indoor reception area, and great expectations about what the space would look like once renovations were complete. All of those things were true and lived up to our vision for the day. However on top of all of that, this venue was a home run due to the amazing staff and the collaboration we felt as planning and details were finalized. We worked with Tyler - I don’t think he ever used the word “no” with us. He always was willing to hear out our requests and constantly wanted to do whatever would ease our minds. I felt so comfortable going into the wedding day (even without a separate planner) because of the customer service I felt from this team. Not to mention the great execution on the day of with Starling but also their exclusive vendor partners in Tall Guy and Milwaukee Airwaves. Everyone went above and beyond and we didn’t want the day to end.

Knock out space right by the Milwaukee river! Great location, great vibes. This space delivers bright and fresh punch right in the Third Ward. The botanical moss wall brings an exciting look. The Staff there are passionate and well versed in all things Hospitality.

Everything from the setting, views, staff, food, and servers exceeded my expectations! Everyone was so kind, accommodating, and proactive throughout the entire evening. The managers of the venue are very passionate about what they do and understand every aspect of the wedding industry. The DJ kept everyone dancing all night and played some of my favorite songs! So glad I could be a part of the first few events at the new venue!

The Starling is the perfect place for any occasion. Between the massive moss wall with the botanical vibes, the high-end finishes, all of the natural light, the view of the River, delish food via Tall Guy, and the sunsets. OHHHH the sunsets.

The elegant details, delicious craft cocktails (especially plaza fresa) and the pizza is just absolutely the best pizza ive ever had in my life. And I eat a lot of pizza.
