My husband and I knew we wanted a live band to perform at our and we hired Sound Check Entertainment. Mike Glassman and the entirety of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels exceeded all expectations!!! Mike worked as the DJ and emcee for our ceremony/cocktail and everything went off without a hitch. He was communicative, flexible, and all-around a pleasure to work with. The band absolutely crushed it. They sounded amazing and were full of energy. Our dance floor was packed the whole entire night (on a Sunday evening no less). All of our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how awesome the band was. I would highly recommend Sound Check Entertainment, Mike, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed!!

Mike was our DJ and bandleader for my wedding in December 2021. If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had crazy demands and he accommodated everything. The planning was impeccable. We had total control of our setlist for the ceremony, dinner, band set and DJ sets throughout the night. Mike has a great sense of what will work and is great at steering you in the right direction. As big fans of his Live Band Karaoke band, we requested 'em and he brought 'em. We scripted out a 10 song set with us and our friends and family who are singers, and he added that to the show. Our maid of honor got sick and couldn't attend. Mike rolled with the punches and had her record an MP3 of her speech. He was able to play it crisply and clearly for everyone in the 200 or so audience to tear up to. For this alone we will be forever grateful. The ceremony and dinner went off without a hitch. Songs were perfectly timed and audio was crystal clear for our pastor and all the dinner speeches. The band ROCKED. Annie was incredible on vocals and the group was tight. The dance floor was bumping all night. The set with us and my friends was perfect and truly a highlight of my life. I CAN'T recommend more highly.

DJ Mike was awesome for our sons wedding! We had an outdoor wedding at our house with 250 people...a large crowd to handle. Large range of people in ages and styles. DJ Mike kept the party hopping into the night! I have actually had several people call me throughout the week complimenting him....that tells you something! I would highly recommend him for any fun gathering you have.

Sound check was great for our wedding dj equipment rental. They were very friendly and great to work with. The speakers sounded great and we also rented a portable speaker and wireless mic for the reception. They were very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had. Definitely recommend!

We rented equipment from Soundcheck for our wedding - dj package with lights for the dance floor. Mike was a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. He gave us the rundown on how to use the equipment to get the best results, and everything was in great condition. He was also flexible with our return window so we could recover from the festivities. We were able to offer a great experience to our guests, and on a budget! Will definitely hire Soundcheck for our future DJ/equipment needs!

Mike was the DJ for my wedding reception in June 2021. He also handled the sound for my ceremony. We chose his company because it allowed us to support a local business while also receiving personalized customer service that many larger companies would not have provided to us. He was professional, organized, punctual and great about communicating with us before our wedding and on our big day. He did a great job reading the crowd to choose music that kept our dance floor packed all night. All of our friends and family are still talking about how much they enjoyed the music that he played and the positive energy that he brought to our event.

I chose to work with Sound Check Entertainment when searching for sound system to rent for the Kohl's Pride Parade Float for the 2022 Pride Parade. Mike was a great communicator and answered all my questions quickly and kindly. He came to set up the sound system before the parade and then met us afterward to breakdown and pick up his equipment. It was a completely flawless experience and would definitely work with Sound Check Entertainment again!

Me and Wife have recently gotten married, and we decided to go with Sound Check Entertainment to rent out DJ equipment. It was such a great experience! We just wanted to use Spotify for our music and the equipment was perfect for that we were able to plug everything in to our laptop and we were good to go! The owner was excellent with showing us how to set everything up and was happy to answer any questions we had as well. We will gladly rent from them again.

Everything was amazing! Jeremy was our DJ and he lit up our party! So many great songs, got the crowd going, took song requests, went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. He was even getting us drinks and coached the wedding party through the grand march. Everyone had so much fun!!!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a DJ!

DJ Mike J. is the best! He was incredibly accommodating, especially to this bridezilla, and he is clearly an expert! He read the room and played the songs that got everyone on the dance floor. I'm not kidding when I say our dance floor was jampacked for the entire 4 hours that it was open. He listened to requests (unless they were on the "no-play" list) and he was very on top of all of the important announcements. I will 100% be recommending DJ Mike J. to anyone and everyone looking for a DJ!

Our DJ Anthony was better than amazing. He kept things going, played games and had such a wonderful personality. He was the best part of the reception. The photo booth was fun it would freeze up well posing which made it a bit difficult to know if you got a good pic or not but it didnt stop the fun. I got a photo book with copies and a flash drive at the end of the night. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking.

Rented some powered speakers, and a couple wireless mics for a company presentation. I was given every last thing I needed to make it all work, right down to extension chords and a power strip. Mike had everything ready to go at the appointment time. Gave me the lowdown on how to run it all and I was off! Really appreciated his knowledge and professionalism.

Jeremy was our DJ and was absolutely amazing. There are no words to describe how how amazing he made our wedding. Jeremy was seriously the life of the party and had people on the dance floor all night. He even sang many of our favorite songs and rapped for us! It was so fun and I couldn’t believe this was actually “our DJ”! He was without a doubt the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding. At the end of the night, Jeremy brought all of the guests to the dance floor and put them in a circle around my husband and I. He then said a super special speech and played our first dance song to allow us a relaxing and special second opportunity to honor our chosen song. This was such a special moment for my husband and I. Jeremy played every song that was requested and our guest could not stop talking about how great he was. So many smiles and so much laughter was witnessed during the wedding- mainly due to the phenomenon job of our DJ. My husband and I already had the vendors tips put in envelopes prior to the wedding. If I could go back in time, I would have tripled his tip!

It was easy to use and the team was incredible at answering any and all questions we had to make sure we had the equipment we needed for the size of our space and crowd...and that we knew how to set it up. We hired Mike for our wedding this July. He was amazing throughout the whole process - great communication, honest opinions, and easy to work with. He was STELLAR on the day of our wedding. No complaints. We and our guests loved his style so much that we were asked several times during the dance to have a vow renewal next year and hire the same DJ! My brother and his fiance booked him for their wedding for next July. Highly recommend.

The whole team was amazing and they went above and beyond my expectations for our wedding. Everything from our ceremony music/sound to the last song of the night! Our guests loved using the photo booth and music was on point the whole night. Our photographer was great at getting the attention of our rather large wedding party and making sure we took all the photos we wanted. She also had great ideas for photos that we didn't even think to take. All in all they deserve a 10/10 for service!

Anthony our DJ was the best! He kept the night moving with fantastic music, reminded me of speeches, garter and bouquet tosses and was all around a great addition to our big day. Prior to our wedding, Anthony spoke with us to go over what we were truly looking for, and even helped me pick out a father daughter dance song - you rock, Anthony! Highly recommend him and complete to anyone! In addition, our photo booth attendant was well dressed (loved his shoes!), helpful and extremely nice to work with. Highly recommend adding the photo booth to any special event, always a guest pleaser!

A gem of a local business. We're lucky to have a place that rents out not just solid gear for affordable prices, but also provides sound advice and service (they also provide actual DJ services too). These folks have saved me in so many situations like when I needed some DJ lights, or just a wireless microphone for an event that already had speakers. I call em up, ask if they have what I need and pick/dropoff date and... and that's it. It takes me no more then a five minute phone call to sort it out. Again, the prices are surprisingly affordable. Also be kind to the gear, I just might be renting it out someday too. :)

We rented speakers, a mixer and mic for our wedding reception at The Rotunda in Waukesha. Mike was honest about what we would need in such a boomy space and didn't try to sell us more than what we really needed (unlike another company we talked with!) He explained how to hook everything up was really flexible with pickup/drop off too. Also great with responding to emails and answering questions. I would highly recommend Sound Check Entertainment for reasonably priced rentals and honest staff!

My daughter has been taking guitar lessons with Michael since March. We started with him virtually due to the Covid virus and then moved to in person. My 12 year old daughter looks forward to her lessons and really enjoys working with him. She can be shy and he’s worked to develop a good relationship with her where she comes out of her shell . The thing she loves the most is that she gets to learn songs she wants to learn and not just boring songs she has no interest in. She now practices daily and has made huge progress on an instrument that was brand new to her. We highly recommend taking lessons here!!

Piano lessons with Mike G have been educational, fun, and most importantly, effective. Rewarding and creative experience. I started taking guitar lessons from Randy Yocum about two months ago and am progressing forward in my playing style. I have tried taking guitar lessons at other places in the past but the great atmosphere of Sound Check Studios sets it apart.
