The level of chaos that an event planner/coordinator has to keep in check is already super high. Now make that event a wedding and have it during the middle of a global pandemic full of occupancy limits and social distancing restrictions and you’ve got what my situation was. My wife and I are incredibly thankful to have worked with Christa because even with all of the obstacles she always kept us in the loop and somehow still made it all happen. It all worked out perfectly.

You will have a hard time finding a wedding coordinator better than Christa McLean. From our very first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. She was professional, reliable, responsive, and organized from our day one meeting all the way through day-of. She truly is your personal soundboard and cheerleader throughout the process. Any idea we had for our wedding she was able to make it a reality that was better than we could have imagined. She helps you block out the noise and focus on what matters most, building the wedding of YOUR dreams. Even in the peak of wedding season, Christa has a way to make it feel like you are the only wedding she is working on; always just a quick text away to settle any worry we had. On our wedding day, she was always two steps ahead! Cocktail hour? Favorite drink in hand! First dance? Dress bustled before I even knew it was happening! And every vendor Christa recommended exceeded our expectations! I would recommend Christa to anyone in a heartbeat.

Our wedding was perfect for so many reasons. Christa helped us with ideas and tips all the way through to being there for us the day of. I can't say enough about our experience planning a 2021 wedding with Christa! I had reached out about details and rates at our venue and started working with Christa before we were even engaged in 2019, she was nothing but professional and supportive from the get-go. Throughout our wedding planning process Christa worked with my Mom to book an add-on for our special day, my bridesmaids to plan a surprise dinner at the venue for me, and me on details big and small. She had wonderful recommendations not only for local vendors but for the flow of the day and what traditions to keep and nix based on my expectations. I never saw her lose her cool, even when my photos had to be drastically cut down, a rainstorm was coming, and we were pushing the envelope on starting dinner. Christa was there just working magic behind the scenes throughout the day and ensuring that I wasn't privy to any of the chaos that might have ensured around me. And she did it all with a smile! Guests and fellow vendors even remarked at how wonderful Christa is at her job. If you have the chance to work with her on your wedding, do it.

Christa has a way of making you feel like you’re the only wedding in her book - from the planning process, down through the day-of. We worked with Christa at Flag Hill in June 20222 – Christa knew exactly how to execute our vision - from the décor to the satellite bar setup, to the day-of flow (including their time management and direction so everyone knew where they needed to be and when). One thing that sets Christa apart is even when something went off-book on the Big Day (because it will! who doesn’t have the perpetually late cousins, or the crazy aunt who decides to go rogue and use the bathroom right as the wedding procession begins…) Christa was all-hands on deck addressing any unexpected situations so that we didn’t need to worry about a thing. Christa’s priority was allowing us to relax and be in the moment on our special day. Also worth noting our entire wedding party had unsolicited rave reviews about Christa – earning her the title "The MVP". From her ease and direction during the rehearsal, to helping us with everything we needed on the wedding day - including ensuring the bridal suite was stocked with fresh champagne and that our entire party's drink orders and bites were waiting for us all immediately following the ceremony. Christa truly gave us the VIP treatment as a bridal party. Many folks in our party even said it was the most enjoyable wedding they’ve been in simply because Christa and team were so awesome. We couldn't have asked for a smoother day from start to finish. We had the time of our lives, as did all of our family and friends. So thrilled with our decision to work with Christa!!
