Huge venue - there were three events going on at the same time and all groups were separated in an organized fashion.
Parking attendants at entrance were sweet and took the time to provide detailed driving and parking directions.
This venue can house thousands of people without feeling overcrowded. It’s that big!
Indoor workers were nice and helpful. It’s clear that they have plenty of experience hosting large events.
It was hot outside, but their air conditioner worked so well that we were not affected by the outdoor heat wave.
Maggie Jean Clark
Louder than life is freaking awesome! All of the staff was so kind and helpful they did everything they could to make sure we had a fantastic time! Chris one of the shuttle drivers made the end of the night the best! Closed down the show all 4 nights. This Michigan granny is planning her return trip for 2023's Louder than Life event!!
Christina ODonnell
The facility itself is nice and very large with conveniently located restrooms and the people who work for the facility are very nice.
The events themselves are hit or miss. We went to the boat and RV expo and the food vendors were charging airport prices for sketchy carnival food. I paid $6 bucks for a plain pork hot dog in a small bun that looked like something you left in your lunchbox for a couple of days and forgot about.
Also they charge $5 to $10 for parking in a lot that is slightly larger than Rhode island so, seriously??

It was easy to get into the place, but where to really exit out of there is not clearly marked and there is a usually a huge crowd leaving at that same time so it makes it difficult to exit when you are not sure how to get back to the place you really needed to exit because of the multiple entrances. Very clean 👌, bathrooms were cleaned and stocked! Other than trying to get out of there...everything else was great 👍. HUGE COMPLEX!
Half_Heart_Games
Went for the fair, they always have the best vendors. Such polite people. There were amazing acts on stage aswell. A lot of things to see and do. I had a very fun time.

Wedding expo was very creative! So many wonderful vendors to choose from. From DJ's, to photography you can find some great people to amplify your celebrations.

Here for a volleyball tournament. Amazing. Place is huge. Think there was 110 volleyball courts set up. A ton of people here and it really didn't feel like that. We came from out of state. Stayed at a local hotel. The 20 parking seems foolish when you can uber there and back for just a little more. Especially when you add in the extra in and out charges from the hotel parking. Food options during the event were great! As usual everything was stupid expensive but if you expected otherwise, shame on you. We were able to bring in our own beverages, water etc so not locked into the 4-6 dollar sodas. Very clean facilities, plenty of bathrooms. Would be nice if they had separate pass thru lines for Ubers and taxis. But not a big deal. Overall, great place and definitely would attend another event here. O and best thing, padded chairs to sit and watch. Not those butt cheek killing bleachers.

Excellent experience and event.

Con: food and drinks too high for a youth sporting event

I really enjoyed the annual state fair at Kentucky Exposition Center. They had music concerts, games, various kind of food stalls, horse shows and many more. They also had animal shows and those were fantastic. It was crowded and everyone was having so much fun there. The facility is very large and spacious.
Gabby Israel
Reallllly enjoyed the Kentucky State Fair this year. The exhibits were great. I missed the animals but I got a few pictures of the cows and donkeys.
I think "Candy Land" was my favorite
Melanie Rudolph
I love the remodeled Kentucky Expo center ! Came today for Beyond Van Gogh exhibit ! Beautiful!
James Lee
I went to the annual Kentucky state fair. They had a variety of midway rides and food vendors. They also had a live music and a free concert. They had a live stock exhibition and art displays and a flea market style set up as well. I enjoyed my time there while I was visiting.q
Carolyn Cook
It was fun to walk around at the fair but none of the exhibits were open when we got there. Had to wait until 10:30 for them to open up. Got to see plants and water fountain! It was lots of fun, but it was so hot. Had an ice cream that was huge too.
MD “Hoe Handle” Havard
So I’m here because my daughter is playing basketball. What a big place big place. They charged us $60 to park. There’s so many venders here selling everything you can imagine lost of food venders. Be ready to walk
Chris Campbell
Got to see Trace Adkins in concert Aug. 26th 2022! We only had one problem at the outside carnival rides $35 each for an armband to ride everything! But the circle of hell ride- my daughter rode it & I watched her head go side to side so fast while going in a small circle! The heat was 95° with the heat index! She got off & was so dizzy- her pupils were so tiny like little pin heads! I had to take her inside & cold cloth- she was about to pass out! Thought about contacting medical assistance for her! I was worried! She cooled off inside! Thank Goodness!

Dance Competitions are always super fun!!! These competitions are all day and include hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pom, kick and variety performance styles.

NSRA in Louisville, Kentucky IS A BEAUTIFUL DIPLAY OF CLASSIC CARS AND HOT RODS. 🔥 …

The expo center is really versatile they can make your event as small or large or compartmentalized as you need it. I went for the State Fair. The exhibit halls are easy to pass through without realizing how far you’ve travelled. Good space do recommend.
Logan Arnold
Out at Louder than Life, best music festival in the world bar none. The KY Expo Center does really good with parking and getting people in and out in a real good timely manner. Parking is a bit expensive but well worth not having to walk 3 miles to get to my destination inside.
Jeff Slyn
I attended a Home Show and the South Wing is modern but paying $8 to park, $10 admission and another 10%/$1 surcharge to use a credit card was awful steep.
UPDATE 8/25/2022 State Fair still charges admission + $10 parking. At least the prices haven't gone up like inflation.
Rhonda Crone
They have some of the most awesome Mobile Homes here at the moment. Only sorry it isn't quite open to the public. I've seen one of the biggest mobile homes I've ever seen here with a bathroom to die for. I'm in love with it. Sorry I can't post any pics tho.
Solina Kuhn
We attended the Farm Expo here, and I have also been here for Saddlebred World Show. The grounds are HUGE! Just when we thought we saw it all, we discovered another room or part of the building that we hadn't seen! Excellent facility. Just wish that the stadium seats weren't so close together. Makes for a tight fit with some of those big farmers during tractor pulls.
Michael Brown
Was there for the Louder Than Life music festival and it wasnt a bad outdoor venue for a big festival. They did well getting everyone attending the event into the event in a timely manner. Lots of porta potties on sight, but some real bathrooms would be nicer as the portas get dirty quick. Rented a locker to be able to store a few small things in it and charge our cellphones. The sound quality for the show was great. The merchandise lines were long. The food and adult beverage prices were high as to be expected
Leslie nicole Burkhead
Visited here today for the kids fair. We had a good time, prices were little pricey but other than that no complaints. The kids really enjoyed the petting zoo. They had lots of carnival rides, inflatables and numerous booths to stop and visit.
Bob Atkin
BOURBON AND BEYOND FESTIVAL: Artists make the concert! The venue set up was good, lots of bourbon choices, great variety of food, and three stages. The sound system is very good, large video boards alongside the stages help you see if you aren't close enough to the stage. A good variety of artists,
The sanitation stations (hand washing stations) were not kept operational, but there was no wait at the porta-potties.
Parking is plentiful and busses pick up walkers to bring them to the entrance. A long walk from some lots if you miss or don't want to wait for the shuttle.
You can bring your own chair - choose well it is your comfort that counts. A single water bottle is allowed in but there are refill stations operated by Louisville Water that you can use to refill, or you can buy more from the vendors.
The people attending were truly all ages, but an older crowd than expected, though it has a lot to do with the artists.
Karen Renata
The new and improved Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center Harold Workman North Wing Lobby and Hall provide and excellent experience for the 2020 voting! It’s quick and painless and they are more than able to provide all of the proper CDC guidelines for social distancing to keep everyone safe! Way to go JEFFERSON COUNTY KENTUCKY!
Al Kach
Kentucky Expo Center is a Grand place. Found it to be a large area with convenience of parking ($10) if you arrive early in the morning. Additional Halls were added West, Freedom, East, North lobby and South wing hall....and 28 acres + surrounding. Make sure you bring your walking shoes. Nice Place.
Julia Kauffman
Greatest concert of my life and I've been to many! The place was crowded but the energy was high! Although I dont understand this places "no bottle cap" policy it was easy to get to and they did a great job hosting louder than life
Coomessa
It’s easy to drop off your ballot, but considering that we’re going in to a 3rd wave of the COVID pandemic, why make voters park, get out of their car, go inside a building with high volume traffic to get to the drop box? Why not have a few drive through lanes for ballot drop offs?
Dawn Cangelosi
This convention center is huge. So many vendors so many courts. There is an amusement park but it is never open when we are here. They have rv parking and it cost 10 dollars a day to park. Plenty of bathroom and places to eat.
Kyle Noe
Really nice layout for a concert venue, especially when there are several performers. Welcoming vibe to any kind of crowd.

Here for a few days attending the 48th Annual Mid America Trucking Show.
It was quite the experience. The place is big, TOO big, in my estimation but nevertheless successfully gotten through it.
Prices for food is the usual "jacked up way too high" kind.
Plenty of restrooms scattered throughout the perimeter of the wings.
Brian Brumfield
This is a very great place for any and all events. The facility is easily located off the intestate and the traffic flow is great. The parking lot is very well clean and well lighted during dark hours. There was probably 3 big events going on at the same time as ours, which was the Cheer Derby All Star Cheer Competition. The events were well organized and never interfered with the others. I hope to continue to come back next year.
Taylor B
This was our first year attending the Bluegrass Pug Festival!! (Formerly known as the Milwaukee Pug Festival) An absolute blast!!! So many amazing people, vendors, charity organizations, and most importantly...PUGS!! I feel that this was a very nice location and was impressed by the property. Although, please take down the signs that say coke if you're going to serve Pepsi. Very disappointing. Even at the food court it says "coke". Food was okay. Didn't try the ice cream though. Would absolutely attend another event here in the future!!
Marc ciciarelli
This place is HUGE!!! Make sure to put on your walking shoes. The shuttle buses were sure welcome after a long day. This was my second time coming to the Mid America Truck Show. I hope to visit again in the future.
Michael Lott
Attended the MATS show.
Smooth experience, fast entrance at the gate.
Parking was $10 per day.
Ronnie Feger
Always a great place to get exercise walking around! Lol. Fun attractions and lots of things going on here.
Dr. Carl Blasphemy
Had a great time at the Tattoo Convention! A clean convention center with what was a very easy access point to our event. The staff was helpful in giving directions parking close easy enough. The event we attended was the villain arts tattoo arts convention and each day that we came in we felt like we knew where we were going. Convention food is convention food and the convention prices are what they are, there is not much anybody can do about that. All this being said, if you are hosting an event here there is a very good and easy staff to work with here and waiting on the when you arrive.
Dallas Fancher
Great venue for any event! Located in the heart of Kentucky's fabled bourbon country, with many dining and lodging options nearby not to mention the close proximity to Louisville international airport or the direct access to interstate I-65... the Kentucky Exposition Center checks all the boxes for your event's unique needs. Big or small, come one and come all. Mention my name, and you'll get a better seat!
Jennifer McGee
Absolutely incredible job with the basketball tournament. Everything was spaced out, signs on the goals were bug enough to know which court was which, and just a great experience. Hope to watch our son play in a tournament like this with such organization in the future.

We were going to Kentucky Kingdom. They were having an event and the expo center took up the entire Kingdom parking lot. We where onsite before opening and still had to park 1/2 mile from the gate. They had several open lots available for their event but decided to inconvenience paying customers instead. Otherwise the site itself is very large and holds a lot of events. It's not as nice as it used to be but its functional.
Brandy Belton
My first time as an exhibitor for Truckers Against Trafficking. Lots to see and all the swag...
Brandi B.
My boyfriend, step daughter and I went here for the flea market. We were in there about 3 hours lol but some of the vendors in there were ridiculous on their prices. Specifically one of the old toys vendor. He tried to sell us a Dukes of Hazard comic for $95 and we ordered the same exact one on Amazon for $5. Talk about a rip off!!! Infuriating but we enjoyed ourselves other than that.
Joseph Powell
Attended Louder than Life 2019 there and it was so awesome. It was packed but had many options for good and drink without super long lines.
jack bixler
Got in quickly, a little confusing about where to park. Once we did get parked it was a short walk into the center and the exhibits. Took our grandson and experienced a lot of fun at the KY state fair.
Lee Grant
Mid America Truck Show never disappoints, great products, sights, vendors, celebrity meet and greets (Lou Ferrigno), free concert (Runaway June and Micheal Ray) , dinner at Cardinals, and saw a friend of mine the winner of last year's Show and Shine (last year's picture).
Sammy Thompson
The fair every year is fun, but this year all we really did was buy food and walk around, and even then the fries and chicken could be better and the soda was flat, the dole whip was really good though, really only come here if you want to ride the rides
Adam Lieber
Louder than life was amazing. Definitely nice location and I appreciated having multiple stages so there are few breaks between bands
Kate M
Went to see the circus...Kosair Shrine...it is definitely a family event...some of the segments/circus acts were amazing. The sad scenes and music had me a bit confused emotionally due to my assumption that the circus was a cheerful and fun event. Lots of high priced souvenirs to choose from...BRING CASH or you will be forced to wait in an ATM line for a very long time! I know because it happened to me and the ATM actually ran out of money and I had to wait in line again and thankfully was able to make a withdrawal! Parking is the norm... like going to any other event at the fairgrounds/exposition center. If you have never been to the circus...take your kids(or borrow someone's kid) and see what it is all about...not sure how the animals are treated behind the scenes...but the circus animals have been trained extensively.... Clearly a lot of work goes into pulling off this event without people being hurt.
Sanjay Gangal
It was okay. Not sure how it relates to the general public vs the people who are competing. Maybe something to do once every several years.
Plus everything was SUPER expensive. Most food was $10 or more each. A drink was $4 or more. Crazy, save your money.
Robert E. Norton
Crowded with a concert going on country music and big crowds here
Don Annis
Facility is modern and has plenty of restroom facilities for large crowds. Parking lot is large but not intuitive regarding ingress and egress.Great place for large show gatherings.
tina brent
30dollars get in parking is horrible . Not many rides food is typical fair food fries cost 6 corn dogs 8 . If you like fair and fair food you will love it and going getting free cheap things inside ball glasses etc.
Lavonda Greene
I have wanted to attend one of these events, for a long time. The information where the event wasn't posted well I had to drive and drive around the expo center, and finally found it.
I didn't find that that it was very female friendly. I am a hunter, and a female ....but the people in the exhibit areas just smiled and didn't speak, except three. I didn't expect that, a hunter is a hunter....you lost business today!!
JONATHAN BUTLER
This is a great venue for large events. They have a huge arena-like auditorium and expansive fair grounds. I went there to enjoy an awesome car show. Hot rod enthusiasts from all over the country met to display their finest pieces. There was also carnival food and trinkets.
Arlene Hayse
The Kentucky State Fair is a wonderful event. Family and just the average person can go and have fun walking around seeing all the exhibits while tasting and eating all the good foods.
Austin Winkler
Very well made facility. I was here to watch and record my sister's Volleyball Tournament with KIVA Sports.
Mark Smith
Street Rod Nationals is the best car show in the nation. Wow. The quality of the cars and swap meet is fantastic.
Kay Bechel
Kids had a great time. With wild indoor rides and carnival food. Characters to visit with and separate play areas for younger children.
This was a very pricey outting!
Bev Lucas
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the National Farm Machinary Show. This has been the 19th year we have attended and have never been disappointed. They make it enjoyable for men and women both by the huge variety of vendors (not just farm equipment). We have taken our grandson for the last 10 years (beginning at age 3 months) and he tells everyone that the Farm Show is better than Christmas!
Jett W
Big and conveniently located next to the airport. The security staff has absolutely no clue how to direct traffic and caused a huge traffic jam 2 days in a row. Everyone was accommodating and the concession food was decent.
Dönniê Yoüllë
The green industry and equipment expo 2019 was an amazing time to test all the best products from all the biggest and competitor companies.
J Kirby
Was there for louder than life festival. It was easy to find, parking for us was fine cuz we bought vip parking passes. No cel service from r me and my daughter anyways I have cricket and she has metro PC I think and neither worked anywhere in the concert or parking lot so make any calls before u go in. Ok set up for a concert but didn't really like being right in center of town next to the airport for a 3 day show with over 100,000 people there but I've been to worse venue's
Ron Little
The atmosphere was exciting. The facility was clean and always saw cleaning crews picking up. One of the largest facilities I've ever been in. Large enough to house over 50 basketball courts side by side by side. Excellent facility!
Scott Spence
Great time at the fair seeing great music
Jym Froelich
Great venue for our Speech and Debate National Tournament!
Kuenn D. McClinton
When March madness kicks in for the trucking world, that means Kentucky Exposition center comes to life big time!
Laurie Noyes
Went for the Mid American Truck Show. This is year two for us we really enjoy this facility. Had a great time!
Annie Jo Wilson
RV / BOAT SHOW.
Not enough seating for food courts, alot of waisted space.
Sandy Obryan
It seems clean and organized good but some of the supervisors working there are not trust worthy they need to be checked out a little bit more Especially when the supervisors are stealing from the people they got working for them it’s not cool people shouldn’t have to work all day Cleaning and trying to do their best and worry about getting stuff stolen from On a regular basis
tony cantrell
So sad police had everything so shut down that people couldn't do burn outs or speed without being pulled over. 4 day trip will be 1 day at best next year!!
matt
Very nice center louder than life 2022!
joseph muratori
Very organized and extremely accommodating venue. Having water refill stations was a pleasant surprise.
Joey Abna
Been here a few times for RV shows. Huge facility with versatile space for different types of products. Plenty of parking.
Jazzy Biskis
I’ve attended and heard of several events at the Expo center including graduations, the state fair, and sports events. This really is a space for anything and everything when it comes to large scale or private events!
Nathan Hall
Went to Louder than Life. Enjoyed the bands but wasn't a fan of the venue. Hard to see where ever we stood and if we were close we got crushed in the mosh-pit (guess that is just rock n' roll.) Staff was fantastic.
Nathan Todd
Went there for the day. Good experience. Clean facility, friendly service and atmosphere.
Iwillmineyoface
The KEC (Kuntucky Exposition Center) has been an awesome place to host events! The facility is huge and its awesome! This was my second time coming here over the past year! I cant wait for the year to come. Its going to be great! Thank you for such an awesome facility. It has been super awesome!!
Charlee Girl
Lots of fun. Great food. Met great new people. Had a great time with family.
marcia bollin
Awesome weekend games were amazing
Charles Harlow
Not very well setup for the handicap no motorized wheelchair or wheelchair for people that need one the shuttle helped but still had to walk around very difficult with a Cain
Michelle Baker (Michelle)
We went to the festival of Christmas tree and lights! I loved this experience! They had ballet dancers from a local school putting on a show while they had different booths set up for the kids to make gingerbread houses, ornaments, coloring and a train ride all while there are a hundred or so Christmas trees decorated uniquely for Sale! They also had play areas outside that were set up for the kids and a gift shop! I loved it I hate that we missed it this year(2018).
Mike Spurlock
This is a good place for conventions, exhibits, concerts, State Fair, tractor pulls, flea markets etc. Some of the facilities could use a little updating.
Megon Miller
We were here for two volleyball tournaments. The first one was busier and parking in the afternoon was difficult not to mention it was $8 to park each day of the tournament. The expo center kept the place clean and I constantly saw people walking around emptying the trash and/or picking it up.
G Duvall
Very crowded at the National Street Rod (NSRA) show. Over 10,000 cars were on display Saturday when I was there. Too much to see in a single day. We did not see half of the cars nor any of the swap meet area. There was a women's world area near the food court for the ladies.
Jenni
We went to the GIE event at the Expo Center! It was a very well run event. The building was clean and well staffed!
Jason Lane
Awesome experience for this venue . We'll run very impressive!!! Definitely will be back
Jonathan Gadson
Was here for a baskeball Tournament. Very large faculty which help close to 80 courts. Plenty of restrooms and power outlets if you need to charge a device. The only knock I have on this location is they did not offer free WiFi.
Tyler Stone
The large facility helps you from feeling cramped at busy events. I also found the parking lot to be easy to navigate
Alex “Venom” Cummings
Louder Than Life 2019 was here!! I've never been inside the building but it looks beautiful on the outside! Louder Than Life 2019 was claimed to be "the biggest rock festival in the U.S." I'm not too sure but the festival was absolutely amazing!! The lineup was crazy and Staind got back together to perform this show!! Thank you Louisville for having me!!
Rachel midey
Nice but very big our daughter had her nationals archery there. Got team pictures
Sarah Cevetto
The thing of note was that staff was picking trash off the ground during the event. That really gained my confidence in what the rest of the festival was all about. The grounds were as well kept as possible with thousands of people traipsing around. I didn't notice any permanent restrooms. For the festival, they did have plenty of temporary restroom trailers. We were able to find the location easily, and walk around easily. The parking lot was a bit far from the venue, but we made it. All in all, we highly recommend.
Joseph “Tatersa Lad” Sanchez
GIE + Expo : The organizers of this event are nothing less of amazing but still lacking in two key areas. Everything was very professionally prepared and precisely timed for the most part to allow everyone attending to get the most out of the event in minimal time. The only two gripes I have are the food pricing and availability throughout the event we're not consistent for the people actually working there and the general public attending. Day 1 and 2 had the best availability during lunch hours, but not during other times that would be convenient for the workers there. The setup days Sunday through early Wednesday were lacking on options and pricing was outlandish throughout. Most drinks were $4 and up which included bottled water, which we all know is extremely inexpensive. I know price gouging is common practice at events and during expositions and shows, but how did it get that way? $4 for a bottle of water is too much. Especially if it is from a local retailer that sells it for a little over $3 a case. Okay, now for the next gripe; the lack of proper security procedures, general event knowledge and lack of communication between the "security and event crew", before and after the show. Traffic control and exit strategy were not planned for attendees as it was a free-for-all once the show started and ended each day. All in all, the event was pleasant with very few disruptive attendees, and very friendly exhibitors. Kudos to the planners for getting at least 98% of the logistical planning correct and precise!
Jason Rollins
Louder than life was a blast! My girlfriend's first festival and she got rocked out! Thanks Louisville!!!
M Peters
Great venue. Very clean large well light rooms
CookieMonsta “Neenae82” Joseph
I attended the Flea Market over the weekend. Parking was $10 but don't worry, you get $5 back. Plenty of parking spaces. There was also a gun show and a cheer competition going on in other areas, which were all free. There is a small food court there and a few ATMs. The ATMs can be out of order or the line would be long. I recommend that you bring cash.
Marsha H
Great venue place. Huge grounds, lots of parking...very organized event ( Bourbon and Beyond)
Rami RamRam
Great place for everyone, everything is great, kids will have an absolute wonderful time, loved seeing the animals.
Lindsy Campos
Ton of parking. They have a designated drop off point, many exits. But bring some allergy medicine.
Jennifer Eaton Jacobs
Took my 2 y/o grandson to Jurrassic Quest. Parking was a mess, due to earlier bad weather. The area upon entering was very dark with animal growling noises, so he was immediately scared, but after talking to him, and seeing other children react he became more comfortable. The event was very well planned out, and had many things for him to do. The crowd was not overwhelming due to intermitten ticket sales. However, I didn't think the cost was worth the adventure. Additionally, I paid $30 for a Dino bubble blower, which stopped working properly before we made it home. Not impressed. The Expo Center is a nice, clean place in the Louisville Community, and we are lucky to have it.
Amie Sandlin (Amazing Amie)
Had an amazing time at Louder than Life concert!
Judson Baker
Great flea market with antique show in a separate room for the cost of parking!
Vic S
Good venue. Definitely don't like that they force you to pay to park. Once you are in your can't leave. But wait, you can buy a parking pass inside...huh?
Tori Cathcart
While up in Louisville we decided to check out the Kentucky State Fair that was going on. So many different vendors to choose from. Food options of all kinds including the classic fair foods plus some really good lemonade. The flea market parts were insane and loaded with all types of goodies to buy. They had cooking demos going on, things for the kids to play with including fair rides outside.
R Ljr
Traveled here from Pa for my daughters basketball team. Haven't had any games yet. Will update once games start.
Theresa M. Just me!
Kentucky has one of THE best State Fairs in the USA. Much to see, a lot of it indoors in air conditioned comfort. Great value.
Sara Nettles
Ticket booth lady was so nice!! Easy parking for concert!!
Aaron M.
Free Admission with Paid Parking makes the National Farm Machinery Show a family experience. I just wish the bathrooms were cleaner and newer.
Laura Lair
Great fun at the Kentucky State Fair!!
Leigh-Ann Arbogast
The Kentucky Exposition Center held the State At grey Tournament. It was a huge venue! Tons of space, extremely well organized, easy to find, and parking was a dream! Can’t wait to come back next year.
Jody Waldrop Didamo
Was absolutely amazing, everything seemed to run like clockwork- thanks for an amazing rocking time!
Philip Frimel
Mesmerizing, many things to watch and do here. Horse races, and many huge events like the Vex world's competition are held here.
Jean Ann Randle
Snowing on the washrack this morning at North America!
Ed Perkins
Not too crowded on first day most of the live stock hadn't arrived yet
David Barnes
Nice spacious facility. Decent food court.
Portia Manhema
State Fair was fun and there were great exhibitions and parking was available. I thought traffic would be a nightmare but it was a breeze.
Looking forward to this year's State Fair.
Gerald Holt
I attended a robotics competition at this site for several years. The floor area is huge for events like a trade show or in this case a robotic event. The Freedom Hall is mid size space for shows and presentations. Uber and Lyft drop off and pick up is fairly well defined.
Don Lynch
Many of the usual exhibits and vendors were missing this year. Made the Fair less enjoyable.
Amber Kissling
This was awesome... no other words needed besides looking forward to tomorrow!
Thomas Patton
Nice, but to damn expensive 16 oz cokes 4 dollars cost 30 dollars for 2 people to get in 10 to get get in apiece and 10 to park, all food prices went way.
Tammi Pollard
Went to the State Fair. Had a great time. Enjoyed the exhibits.
Timothy Morgan
The expo center is a little outdated but always well maintained, clean, and easy to navigate. In the past, I've interacted with several employees who have gone out of their way by their own accord to assist in satisfaction while in attendance of events.
Judd
Fantastic venue for Skills USA competition! Great clean and AC cooled facilities! Thanks!
Kris Riedley
I have been coming here since I was a little kid to different events. I have had very fond memories of this place over the years with my dad, I even had my graduation ceremony here. I'm glad it's still around for my son to go to events with me now.
Ron Cole
Here for ICUEE. Everywhere I went was friendly, and the venue staff was courteous and helpful
Nazareth Davis
Here to do Run 4 The Roses Basketball Tournament.
Very big event for girl's basketball.
Donald Stewart
It has awesome events there. I like going to Winter jam there.
Terence Neal
Place is huge. Able to have three events goi g on with no issues and a water park as well
Paul Sikkema
Clean. Very helpful staff. Rooms are in great condition and we'll maintained.
It's right by the airport but out of the flight paths so you will get a good night's sleep.
I want to repeat - the place is clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and polite.
Breanna J
So much fun at the indoor carnival/festival.
Sandra Downs
Had a great time. Always love going to the fair for the food. Prices are outrageous however. The flea .market area and expo part had great stuff.
Laura Licht
Showed my Miniature Horse at Ky State Fair, been doing it for several years. I also show my Miniature Dachshunds there in March. Love coming here..lots of parking and huge show areas and arenas. The only thing I feel is lacking is grass for the dogs to potty
Linda Fitts
KY State Fair is so much fun. Chickens, rabbits, dairy cows, beer, exihibts, music and people watching.

Louder Than Life 2021 was off the hook. Drove all the way from Nebraska with my wife for it. Definitely going back for 2022.
Teresa Mitchell
Had the best time at Louder than Life. 1st time and I will be back.
Teilia Bleu Hemmerlein
I was able to join some friends and go to their flea market and I was honestly blown away from how entirely huge it was! It was a pleasant surprise, there was every kind of vendor you can imagine, we ended up staying all day and still wasn't able to check out all of the booths! I absolutely loved the array of unique things I found while shopping there. I spent way too much, but ultimately it was way worth the fabulous time 😊 will be going again!
durrett christy
Had an awesome time attending the street rod nationals.
Envy Dance
Very good my Danceteam Envy performed there for state fair
Melissa Kaufman
Not as great this year as it has been past tense and the prices of everything was just ridiculous $4 just for bottled water ...I mean seriously!
Tyler Denham
Awesome venue
Event staff was very helpful as well.
Well done Louder Than Life.
Only negative comment would be if camping for a festival here, the airport right next door makes it almost impossible to sleep. Def bring ear plugs!
Darren Jones
This was a great place for large events. Easy access and parking. Plenty of room to move around inside.
Kelly Davis
Nice place for tournaments and what not. Only thing I didnt care for was paying $8 to park for only a few hours for a archery tournament.
George Richter
great time at the national hot rod show really enjoyed it good time
Sue Massey
Parking fees are outrageous. $10. daily. Prepare for a hike.
Michael Sisson
Good place. They rip you a new one with price gouging food and drinks. $9-12 beers. Ugh. It's expected sure, but not appreciated. Obviously with events like this they don't care so that's minus a star. It is what it is though.
Louder than life festival is awesome. Great bands, stages were amazing, lights etc were good. Volume and bass is everything you'd expect. Good location. $20 parking wasn't advertised openly so be prepared. They consistently ran out of parking each day. Walking distance and accessibility wasn't terrible even with that. Getting out was pretty easy too so traffic didn't seem too bad. Be prepared for double delays on the highway getting in during rush as traffic came to a stop multiple times. Plan accordingly.
lorrie jamieson
Amazing once again. The concert was so wonderful. After coming 30 years in a row to see the Boys in the concert. I am truly blessed to see the Oak Ridge boys celebrate the veteran's it's absolutely beautiful. Keep it up in
Corey Hill
Huge place. Great visit for the Agriculture Expo.
Crystal Littlepage
My husband and I went there on Sunday to the louder than Life concert but the prices for things there were really outrageous $4.50 for a puny bottle of water and five dollars for a 20 oz Coke that is just ridiculous. Heaven forbid if you wanted to drink a beer because they were $12 and up anybody that pays that kind of a price for a beer has got more money than brains
Ellie D
Always have fun when I attend an event here. Lots of parking and events are always well organized.
Jason Feaster
Had a ball at the Monster Jam event!! Easy access and the staff were super friendly.
Philip Green
The Kentucky Exposition Center is HUGE. We have attended a few Robotic competitions in this venue. Venue is nice and the available food is good and priced as expected.
Tonya Anderton
Loved this center, the Greek god Hermes, the art on the walls also intriguing. I'm sad I didn't capture better photos outside of our actual conference. All the many canvases with successful looking horseman must be iconic people. The center was super clean with covid safety measures taken throughout. We brought our own food and waters because the fountains are not being used. There was light snacks, hot dogs and sodas downstairs in the lobby available. The first day we had the entire conference to ourselves and were able to hear our morning excitement echo throughout the enormous center😊 The huge rooms, screens, and all the equipment made our 2021 World Conference Watch Party a super success. I definitely recommend this place for team building, learning and growth activities.
S Jones
Came here for the GIE. Easy access off of the freeway and lots of parking
Roberto Sabas
Great facility for a variety of shows, exhibitions, and conferencesThe signage on the highways and local streets make getting in and out of the expo center a breeze!
Laura Coomer
Great basketball tournament hosted here! The tourney was so well organized and the facility was amazing!
Brittany Roberts
Went for the louder than life festival and it wasn’t a bad place to hold the festival. Had fun!!
Christa Hall
The Louisville Kentucky Expo Center. 5+++++++ STARS!!! Great place for fun activities here in louisville ky. I love going to the biggest flea market there is, and checking out all the vendors and grabbing great soul fair food while I'm there. Parking is $10.00 which is reasonable honestly. And free admission for flea market. I loved it today. So much great stuff. I spent way more than i should have really. But so worth every penny. Their pet friendly, wheel chair assessable, kid friendly, family activities, so much more. Don't miss it if you have the chance to go.
William McCallister
Great place clean, friendly staff, parking is a bit of a mess but when they are juggling several events at once not much u can do
Grant Lengacher
Great facility for exhibitions. We went to the Dinosaur Quest exhibit, and my three girls had a blast. Parking was abundant, and it wasn't terribly expensive. Things seemed clean and well laid out otherwise. Highly recommend.
Linda Freeman
MATS 2019 --. Mid America Truck Show Great venue, great vendors, and some great deals! #MATS2019
Kevin Strother
Pay for parking in advance! It's less expensive. Also get to your event with enough time to find parking. 30min earlier if possible. There is food kiosks available but be prepared to pay a pretty penny!
Ms. Cindy Nunneley Biehler
Fantastic venue. Highly recommended
Gary Pitts (Legend of Gary)
Huge place, was there for SkillsUSA. Had a great time,
Catfish Conference
This is the largest venue in the State of Kentucky. The KY Expo Center has welcomed our event for many years now and we received a consistent and considerable amount of help from their team.
Aside of the complicated parking lot structure, our guests have enjoyed this venue,
Albert Pacheco
So many things to see good places to network for companies that are interested in your business.
Annie Jewell
Went to the Kid's Fair. There were any lot of fun activities available to children of all ages.
Tunnels for toddler to preteen. All enjoying the festivities and food. The staff were courteous and helpful. Had such a wonderful time, they did not want to to leave. I enjoyed it as well. Just watching the having fun was fun.
.
Angelina Hendricks
Went to Vote this morning at the Expo Center with my mother, and of course we were dreading the parking, the lines, well just everything about it, but it turned out to be easy going all the way around! Parking was a breeze! No lines whatsoever! Very well organized and way faster than I could have imagined! So glad we chose the Expo center over the rest!!
Patrick Austinson
Nice and clean facility. Great location and plenty of parking. Would be nice to have a discounted weekend parking option for weekend functions. And we did have a staff member that was more concerned about being his job done than allowing people to enjoy the function.... But those were really the only two negatives. Thanks for the use of the facilities!
Rodney Stewart
2021 National Junior Summer Spectacular - Cross Gilt Show. Alot of potential!
brent purnell
Love this place
Bruce Shelton
Nice place. Everything inside is over priced and parking is an issue. If you have a larger vehicle (4x4 truck). Good luck
Nina B.
This was the BEST voting experience I have ever had. They had everything set up and organized so well. Everyone was wearing mask, hand sanitizer was in many locations. All of the volunteers were helpfull, knowledgeable and friendly. Voting stations were sanitized as soon as you were finished. I was in and out quickly.

Kiss Rockin awesome 👌 …
Marie Hansen (Mrs. Hansen)
We are having a wonderful time at the Nasp Nationals, held at the Kentucky Expo center. The facility is very clean and spacious.
Angela Gambrel
We attended the KY NASP Tournament. Great venue with plenty of space for parking.
Dennis Horn
What a great facility for the KY State Fair and so many other events and activities throughout the year! A state-of-the-art facility for sure. Can always expect to walk long distances from/to the car but we love it.
G. Ford
Like the place. Not crazy about paying $10 to park and paying to get in as well.
W Stowers
This place is huge. Great place to visit when they are hosting a big expo.
Tom Czachor
Went there for SkillsUSA National Conference. Big enough everything going is under one roof. Bring your walking shoes, it's big
Gerald Harbolt Jr
The fair has been great but very hot.
Just take care on what u are doing an have a great time. Great bands an shows.
julie ison
Black stone cherry rocked the house!!!
Jl Saylor
The Louder Than Life. Festival was very well put on. Loved the side By side stage was great. Plenty of room for all the people. Need to have better information on where to park. Had plenty of porta pots. Need to do something about no seating. Food and drink prices were high. Was able to get in and out of the Festival grounds with out any issues.
Jane Roark
Kentucky has one of the nicest state fairs in the country. We go every year to have a grilled pork chop sandwich. Don't miss out on this years fair. It is great!
Neil Willsey
The Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center is a world class facility for hosting multiple events simultaneously. Parking is available around the entire property with a capacity for tens of thousands of vehicles. Expansions in recent years, such as the South Wing, have greatly increased the capacity for event hosting. Access into the property is gained via multiple entrances around the perimeter of the grounds.
Ambra Hunter
We had an amazing time at the fair this year. The exhibits were great, the rides we're fun, and the food was as greasy and delicious as I'd hoped.
Shams Aalam
This is huge place with full accessibility for Disabled and senior citizens beautiful garden outside and inside great hall available for wheelchair basketball facilities available. Various big event can be organised on international standard. This is great place for various sports events and exposure. Very good food and beverage coffee available wheelchair accessible entrance and exit.
Adam Elliott
I have been coming here for many years to see the car shows and it's always a great experience! My dad used to take me here, now I take my son.
Heather Smith
Bellarmine game was a lot of fun! The concessions weren't that great and overpriced for the quality of the food. We will be back but will definitely avoid the concessions next time.
Jeff L
This is a wonderful facility and huge. The shuttles were great with pick up and drop off right to the hotel doors. There was plenty of staff and places to eat and drink. The staff was everywhere and very friendly and professional. The inside and outside of the facility was very clean and maintained.
Tony R. Bellis
Awesome but not cheep to enter.
Barbara Beckmann
Charged too much for parking, then too much time looking for handicapped parking. The expo was nice, but missing a few vendors from two years ago.
jay smith
Nice big Expo center
Paula Vaske
We are here several times a year for a variety of events. Parking is $8 and if you leave and try to come back usually you will get charged again. It is a nice facility, clean, bathrooms are nice and kept clean. Parking can be strange based on why you are there. For example cattle shows parking is strange because of people's trailers and large trucks. Get there really early and you will be fine. Archery competitions usually have more organized parking. We have been to several expo centers and this is a nice one. Bring alot money or your own snacks and drinks. Usually these places will bleed you dry with the cost of food.
Rhonda Banks
We went to vote it was pretty good size and was quite easy to get in and out of but a lot of walking to get to vote. Some people can't walk all that way and don't want to mail in ballot. Was not fair to them. Would rather go to my reg voting polls
Sarah Sidda
Pay parking, even if you have a ticket or pass to event. No parking pass? No free parking. It was $8 per vehicle when we went. Handicap parking is very, very, very limited. As it is limited one would think they would have a shuttle, nope. Just get to limp or roll yourself the length of three football fields. Event area and hallways are clean and easy to navigate. Bathrooms are large but not always well stocked.
Patty Brown
Really Really Large Place n Very Nice
Carley Young
Loved coming here for the Bluegrass Nationals with USA BMX.
Don Ferus
Picked up my Orlando, FL Load .. Tent Frame Systems .. & hdg to the House afterwards
Chris Rennirt
A world-class venue for events, beyond a doubt, but the $10.00 parking is outrageous! What's worse is that traffic control workers, on weekends, direct cars to the right, making visitors drive all the way around the complex (as if the front lot is full), when ample parking is actually still available in front. So, don't be fooled and think you always need to park in a lot farther away! Makes no sense...especially when you pay $10.00 to park! Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.
Frank Johnson
I ran security there for a youth and college wrestling event. This place is huge! Plenty of seating, multipule vendors, easy access, and plenty of parking. The expo staff was great, and worked well with us. It accommodated a large crowd. Also there are plenty of places to eat around the center. Easy to get to from a major highway, and close to hotels in the area. The only down side, is almost everything they sold was pork or pizza. Only found 1 vendor with something else. And of course vendor pricing was high.
RJM
The kids had a lot of fun at this adventure that was at the Exposition Center. Would recommend doing it again. It was nice having some fair food that you don't usually see outside of August when the fair is in town.
Christy Howard
Went there to see my son getting an award for Skills USA. It was a nice place,. It was an extremely hot day we got there early so we can get in and get her seats however they wouldn't let us in early. Totally fine with following the rules however, they would late letting us in. Had a handicapped person with me and the elevator wasn't close.
As for food that was horrible. The awards we're at dinner time. There where thousands of people there and only 6 stands open and they kept running out of food.
sheila bentley
Nice day for hot rods good time
Victoria “Tori” Anderson
I voted in no time at all! Plenty of open space and no lines anywhere last Thursday afternoon. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. PLENTY of parking and not far to walk. You can drop off someone right at the entrance if needed.
Quick and easy. Yayyyyyyyy
AG4LIFE (AG4LIFE)
First ever deep fried Oreo and it was awesome.
Kathy Francis
I love going to the big flea market. Just about everyone is very nice and friendly. I had an accident and everyone that saw it, we're right there to help. The security was very helpful. The two nurses with the Red Cross were fantastic. They took excellent care of me and would not release me until they were sure I was able to drive. Thanks to all that helped me. 💟👍👌
Travis Connelly
Lots of activities. Parking is way over priced. We always enjoy the fair.
Stacey Piper
Big facility. We were here for a basketball tournament and really enjoyed ourselves. The place was very lean and cool. If u get cold easy consider bring a light jacket or something. The only thing I didn’t like was the prices. Everything was so over priced and expensive that it was unnecessary. It cost almost $30 for a whole pizza! I recommend bringing your own food if you on a budget. Aside from pricing, the facility itself is great!
Robert Mendez
Went here for the Flea Market and boy it was awesome. Spent and spent and spent...but well worth it. It was packed but very easily able to see everything each vendor had to offer. Most were also very polite and professional in their own right and space. Great dwals and.pricing was pretty fair. 👍👍 …
Caroline Long
Overall a great venue with friendly and helpfull staff for all events.
Joy Hitchcock
A nice venue for shows. Attended the Sport, Boat and Vacation show. Well organized and a variety of activities for the whole family. Interactive displays with a fish pond, kayaking and a large fun zone for the kids. Large display of boats and RVs. Enjoyed the day.
Kevin McKay
Gotta say, I love the layout! So many entrances to the lot and facility. Clean. Lots of food options too.
Nicholas Price
Great place for a variety of events! KY state NASP tournament is the reason I've visited today. In the past, concerts, the state fair, and much more.
10 parking is steep though...
Justin
I love this place especially during the fair season. I bring the family here every year when the fair is in town. We love to go around and see all the animals and farm equipment for the children and little activities and games. Then afterwards for adults we like to have a few drinks and do the adult stuff.
Barb Propst
A huge place! Perfect for the NASP,
Nationals Archery Tournament. Our granddaughter competed, there was plenty of room for the tournament, room for pictures being taken and a food area. A massive place! There was plenty of parking! Even if you don't know where you're going you can still find it. The place is a circle so just keep circling around till you get where you got to go. Very easy to get in and to get out! The place is really nice inside! Bathrooms are kept clean!
Rose Gossett
Nice place for a concert needs more shady areas gets pretty hot
kristina allen
The parking lot was awful. There were no portapottys in the parking lots. It was at least a mile walk to the first potty. People were using horse stahls!! Bands and set up time was fantastic!! But there was no seating in the main concert area for people who did not want to sit on ground. All in all had a great time....if nothing else bands made it worth driving 400 miles to go see.
Bailey Jones
That is so Awesome Place to go you guys have to go
JR Webber
We visited the Exposition Center for the Jurasic Quest event which was fantastic.
I liked the layout of the center, it was large, spacious, and clean.
The parking was easy event for our truck.
All the staff were so great with us and the kids.
Timothy Bradford
Could better plan staffing at the parking lot tolls prior to entry. 2 of 4 open for a big concert seems like bad management. Not to mention the hazard to traffic being backed up. Need more efficiency!!
Laura
She had a blast! And there was plenty of free things so it wasn't as expensive as i thought. They kept the lines moving petty good. The only issue i had was toddler town. The majority of the toys were broke and just simply junk. But other than that i was glad we came and she really had a good time!
Eric Christenson
It's a nice facility. Some additional vegan food options would earn another star, given what a diverse crowd they tend to attract. I can't argue with the convenience of being located right near the airport, and their facility feels rather modern.
Bill P
It was okay, same as last year. Many of the same vendors there, with good deals to be had on many items.
Albert Stith
Very nice facility, but parking is too expensive. Fortunately, I got a 50% parking rebate from the Kentucky Flea Market. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone.
Mandi Stancill
Incredible crew. I was here for MATS, and I was truly impressed with the cleanliness and the attentive nature of the employees and contractors setting up and tearing down for this event. The restrooms were always clean and fully stocked. The posted security was pleasant and helpful. Great job all around!!!
Cody Blavat
Cause all the cool thing to do with my family
Kennedy Dunn, Sr
This place is huge. I was there for a volleyball tournament 09-11Mar18. There were close to 120 courts. There were many food venders. The major plus was the play area for kids.. Awesome idea. The downside of the event was parking. Getting to a parking area was terrible. Even though there were police and parking attendants, there wasn't very much direction for proper parking and people were parking any way they could. Crossing the street was dangerous, as well.
Hope Cash
Tons of great events here year round. Love the concerts, Lego event, state fair. So many wonderful memories. They have really worked on improving the place as well. Always great experiences and wonderful memories.
Nick Santini
The Expo center holds a lot of great events every year. I have been there countless times for various things and have enjoyed going there. The parking could be better because it seems like I've always had to walk a mile to get to the doors but other than that I have no complaints.
Dean Ku
Massive convention space. Well organized.
Raghavendran Narasimhan
Always enjoying this center for both work oriented or kids playing and fun games.
They maintain very well and spacious enough to occupy more folks with facilities..
Parking price can be reduced to 5 $$ if possible.. So more of our folks can enjoy
David Wilson
Louisville is blessed to host the greatest state fair in the nation
James Jackson Jr
There were fewer exhibits than I expects.
Kathy Jackson
First visit ever. Went to go to the flea market. There was also a gun show, a military memorabilia exhibit and a kids fair going on. Parking was ten dollars. Admission to flea market was free but everything else was ten to fifteen dollars each person. That's pricey. Just to enter each thing would have been 40-60 bucks per event. Ridiculous. Won't return.
Tamika Griffin (Real Life With Meaka)
Came here for the Kentucky Fair and it was amazing. Lots of little spots to try some local honey and sweets. Decent price rides and lots of entertainment while walking around the fairgrounds. The ride around the fairgrounds was nice. The driver and the director were friendly. They even had a mini BMX rider doing some tricks. Every had a blast and got a sun tan. Parking was a little chaotic but that’s expected with an event like this. And if you love cows, chickens, rabbits and some horses, this was definitely the place to be.
Steve Tucholski
This has been a great place for hosting Skills USA.
Dona Schicker
Lots of things to see and do at the State Fair. Lots of booths to visit and pick up flyers and gadgets. Also there were food vendors that had really good things to eat. Spent the day there and crowd.was orderly. We were there about six hours and did not encounter any problems.
Alicia Johnson
Here for AAU Basketball. Nice facility and helpful staff. The only problem was concessions. They sold out not even halfway through the games. They were not prepared for the large turnout.
Tyler
Sales and shows ran smoothly and promptly. Not enough clean up tar paper looked like it was left from state fair. Other wise good experience. Got to show is the main thing. Thanks a bunch!!
Michael Tucker
For a large show or convention, the exhibit space and parking are excellent. I attended the Louisville RV show and their were so many vendors it took 4 to 6 hours to look at their display models. It was fairly easy to park and enter the facility.
Andi Wise-Carter
I went for my son’s basketball tournament. The facility is big. There were 20+ courts set up. $10 to park each day was ridiculous. The price on food is extremely high. Plus, the concessions were shut down around 9 and games were still going on some not even starting until 9:20. Couldn’t get a drink if you needed one. Not impressed.
Tracey N
Attended a basketball tournament there. Huge facility. Plenty of parking; although, the traffic patterns can get a little crazy... especially for those who try to take short cuts and drive down a one way road in the opposite direction.
Samantha Beckman
This place is HUGE!! We were there for a volleyball tournament and there were hundreds of people. There were a lot of tables and a variety of food vendors. There was everything from coffee, doughnuts, burger, fish, chicken, rice bowls and pizza - lots to choose from. Prices were high. The one downside was the area we were in was big with a lot of monitored exit doors but only one entrance. Most of the staff was pleasant.
Olivia Rose
Having winter jam here was wonderful. It was packed full with people who all had the same thing in mind. Listening to good music and listening to people speak. Overall a great place. Building was easy to find, though had to pay for parking
Adam Dixon
I attend a couple events a year at this location. Overall it's great for large events. We even had a bus take us to the from doors from the parking lot, which is nice due to the large size of the lot. Food and drinks were both way over priced and had to pay for parking which is annoying when you also have to pay to get into the show your attending.
Monica Reed
This place is definitely one of the coolest places, not matter what type of event is going on inside. The size of it is marvelous and the fact that it can entertain so many different types of people is truly amazing. I hope this Expo Center will be here for many years.
Jenna Beattie
We attended a basketball tournament here. This place is huge, so be ready to do a lot of walking to get where you need to go when you visit the Expo Center. Also, be prepared to spend a lot of money if you plan to buy from the vendors inside. The cheapest bottle of water was $4 at the vendors. So you can imagine how much a pretzel or hot dog costs. Plan to eat elsewhere, if possible. They did allow coolers in the venue, but I'm not sure if they do for all of their events or if they just allowed it because we had kids playing ball and needed to stay hydrated. Also, parking is ridiculously overpriced. My recommendation is to find a hotel close by to stay at that has a shuttle bus that goes back and forth for free. Overall, venue is clean and serves it's purpose, but way over priced to do anything here. Make sure you have a lot of money if you plan to spend hours at this Expo Center.
DeAnna Myers
My family and I absolutely love attending events here. The parking is fantastic and the arena has plenty of room. It's always a good time, no matter what is going on here.
Charlie Hubbard
I'm just BEING a picky grumpy old man.
BUT being disabled now MORE disabled parking and also a smoker MAYBE some type of outdoor seating?
I mean it is Kentucky a major producer of tobacco and home of the Marlboro brand. Bathrooms could use some attention. But all an all it was a good visit maybe scatter so indoor seating about other than just the conssecion area. But again it was a good visit I enjoyed the event I was attending and would go back for another event.
PEACE OUT 🐝😎😎😎😎🐝
Alessandra Camargo
Pretty good expo center, was there for a week long conference. There was a lot of construction around while we were there so that was a bit of a nuisance. Huge center though, was a great place to be at! Not many food options nearby, so you either drive into the city or they had some food from the center itself which was yummy but overpriced.
Robert Critchfield
We arrived at 10:00 AM Saturday morning. The main gate was VERY busy but we got into the fair grounds fairly quickly. They had all the parking places by the East wing closed because of the fair rides. You had to go around the fair grounds looking for a place to park. We found one in the back by the Old Cardinal Statium in the area by row of the light post that had 23 on it. Once unloaded a shuttle came by and picked us up. Note: I am disabled and in a wheelchair. The shuttles come with a area on the end for people like myself along with families with a baby buggy, wagon etc. The people on the shuttle along with the other people on the shuttle are extremely nice willing to help you any way they can. While we were following the shuttles route we came upon a couple where the gentleman was in a manual wheelchair. A man and woman got off the shuttle to assist the couple with helping the man to get onto the shuttle. One at our destination to get off we let them know we wanted to get off. We were helped getting off.
We went into the East Wing and started our day at the fair. We also had to sample the fantastic fair food. Everything from a turkey leg, fudge, corn on the cob you name it they had it. We also liked the many live shows that were going on.
Keith Gilbert
A large and clean convention space. I attended the Mecum auction during September 7-8. Everything about the event went well: parking was easy, the buildings are easy to navigate, restrooms are plentiful and clean. It had decent food options as well.
Tad
I went to the Saturday and Sunday night of Bourbon & beyond. The production company needs supervising. Of course they had plenty of parking, and shuttles getting you into the event, but no shuttles getting you out. I had a difficult 20 minute walk to leave. The gravel grounds during the concert was annoying
Chris Grimes
Sound was awful at the tractor pull on Wednesday. The sound system was so loud all the words were distorted and garbled. The Syngenta commercials were even louder. Turn it down!
Jim Culberson
RV parking is expensive and in the wintertime, when we are there, finding a source of fresh water to fill our tank from is almost impossible to locate. The biggest issue with the RV lot though is the absolutely filthy restrooms. For what we pay per night those restrooms should be pretty darn clean, but they're so nasty it is only under dire circumstances I'll set foot in the men's room. My wife went to use the women's restroom last year when we were there and stopped when she saw two ladies head in to clean the restroom. They were in there only moment when she heard one of the women say "You've got to be kidding me, no way!" and then run from the restroom while vomiting. Yes, the restrooms are that bad. We've gone up to the expo center every February for ten years and every year the bathrooms are a total disaster. Pipes spewing water, broken toilets plugged with poo, shower stalls with discarded underwear in them and filthy floors. There is no excuse to let restrooms get that filthy. I took pictures last year and would post them here if I could. The restrooms in the halls aren't much better.
dave weber
jurassic quest was great. the kids loved it. recommend if your little ones love dinosaurs
Brenda Fettinger
We had a great time this year at the fair. We came last Monday and Sunday, the 25th. We enjoyed the Christian concerts!! King and Country and Lauren Daigle were awesome!!!
We enjoyed going through the exhibits and seeing the animals. What a fun time we had.
Brandon Pilant
Went to the Mid America Truck Show! WOW, there were some amazing trucks there and pretty much everything truck related was there and then some.
Scott Harris
What an amazing Convention Center! I've had countless good times there. The Kyana swap meet is one of the best in the country and the Street Rod Nationals is awesome! I sure wish they still had the Carl Casper car show during the winter like they did in years past. The price of parking is getting ridiculous though. I don't mind paying to park, but I hate having to float loan just to park the dang car.
Schmoo Smith
Really impressed with this venue. My wife and I went to the indoor flea market. Suggestion!!! Get your hotel room downtown... the hotels surrounding the Expo center all cost $100 more a night.. wasn't worth it to us. We stayed at the Hampton downtown.
Sherelle Buchanan
If u need a wheelchair, walker, walking cane please bring them. They have no way of assisting ppl with physical disabilities. Determination and courage is needed to vote here, a lot of walking and no curb pick up available.
DC Grace
Christmas Show was great once we could get to it. After circling the entire perimeter twice, we finally got to park about half of a mile from the section it was in. But hey, where else can you pay $24 for two hot dogs and two cokes?!
Edward Stevens
This place is huge the national skills and leadership conference is held here with over one hundred competitions held under one roof thousands of students from all over gather her every year to determine which is the best in their field. What a privilege it is to experience this great place.
Michelle Marie Morgan
Love this! We go every year!!
Randi Sliter
National archery tournament. Place is large and clean. Friendly people to guide you.
Ricard0 Ponton
Fun family day
Basil Marsh
What an amazing place to have a display convention ! I'm impressed with the size of the vendor booths and how many they're able to have ! It seems like you could spend all day and not see them all ! Of course you had to take time out of your day of visiting booths and have lunch and do some people watching , too ! If anyone is looking for a place that is hard to fill , just check it out , you'll be impressed too !!!
Ron Wagner
This place is a real gas. It has something for someone to do all year round. Indoors and out. From baby dolls to tractor pulls. Gun shows to how to bath your pig. Clean safe and boocoo parking.
Tempia Ravis (UncleSams_RN)
Love coming here every year for the Mid American Truck Show. The facility is well maintained and clean. The main expo floor areas are padded to reduce stress and fatigue from all day walking. Plenty of bathrooms and helpful staff.
David White
Visited here for the national SkillsUSA competitions. It's a pretty well laid out Convention Center, but the parking is kind of hard to get around. The traffic flow around the parking lots is not the best. Inside the convention center is pretty wide open. They had lots of food booth options to choose from, but as expected they were a little expensive.

Nice facilities and plenty of parking but watch out for the curbing out in front of the main gates and down the main driveway. It is misleading and creates an optical illusion that if you turn across it will get your car or van stuck on the curbing! It should be painted bright yellow, red, or orange but I suppose that the local wrecker companies/drivers need to make a little extra money too!
Kenney Hammonds
I went to my granddaughter's High School graduation there were plenty of room for all the schools the school. My granddaughter attended and our family and we didn't have any problems with security or anyone why we went closer to take better pictures I really enjoyed it I really believe this the same place we played the University of Louisville when I was in college in 1982 R 83
Rachel Short
Well done with Larger Than Life and Bourbon & Beyond festivals! There was free water available at several stations. Some people were overcome by heat, but it was over 90 degrees and the water was freely available.
Nice setup for the medic tents.
One complaint was that none of the workers seemed to know that there was a Gate 17, which was a pickup area for those who needed transport to medical facilities. Also, local police interfered with the pickup of medical patients at Gate 17.

Championship Tractor Pull's always thrill!

Prepare to walk a long long ways-lol. Poor signage for events often times means extra hiking around looking for where things are being held. Would be a fabulous locale for bird scooters! Went to Flea Market/Antique show here most recently. Fairly low end of the spectrum quality wise. Put on your Fitbit and get counting those steps! State Fair, concerts, car shows, auctions, horse shows-we are lucky to have a huge range of events at this convenient locale. Parking around $10- going up all the time, but there’s plenty of it. Restrooms fairly clean.
Stephany Adkins
The parking was absolutely horrible( it costed $10 and took forever driving back and forth to find a spot), inside the building was nice, clean, and spacious. Got a delicious ice cream cone ($6 each so $24 for my family of 4 but the price was expected at an event like this). I started to get a coke from the vending machine but it was $4....... uuuummmmm no thank you ( I wasnt that thirsty). But overall we had a good experience.
Ryan Sciamanna
We come each year for the GIE+Expo. They expo center does a great job of hosting it.
Ernie *
There for 9 nights in their "campground" with about 200 other rvers. Solid almost flat concrete. There for Kentucky Derby. Full hookups via Y water source. Great security. Did not use washroom or any other service. Good shuttle to Derby.
Shauna Clodfelter
Went to see TobyMac. The parking entrance was a mess. The layout of the parking lot was confusing and you could easily get lost trying to find the right entrance. We walked in the building 10 minutes before the start of the concert (after driving 2 1/2 hours with a bus full of HS and Jr H kids) only to find out the concert started 20 minutes early. We missed the entire first act. Our seats were great, but the logistics left much to be desired.
Mia “Lee” Zanella
Very large place! Went 4 MATS & we had a wonderful time. Clean (as always) & the staff was very friendly & helpful. Bring good walking shoes & remember where u park your car....lol. We will b back next year!
Jerry Dunn
Alright place. Alot of Kentucky people are rude! They cut you off while driving. Don't let you over on the highway! I don't know about Kentucky! But Indiana, it's against law to cut people off! Plus, we here in Indiana. Most of us let people over on the highway. We are taught that at our local BMV, when you get your driver's license. I believe it's in our test.
emeline renz
Parking costs $8 and is a NIGHTMARE. Quite possibly the worst parking experience I have ever had. The attendant was very pleasant, but man, what is with that crazy parking set up!? The facility seemed well maintained and the bathrooms were clean. Two of the water fountains were broken.
Juliana Yates
My brother's graduation was here, in Freedom Hall. Besides the long walk from parking to the building, it was great! The venue had a good size, good sound, good looks, and was fairly comfortable. I was pleased with the Kentucky Exposition Center as a member of the audience, but most importantly the graduates were happy with it!
Eduardo Arencibia
Got my 2nd dose of Moderna. Super fast process.
Claire Lohman
My friends and I weren't aware that infants were not allowed in this center, the security was very rude to us. Stood uncomfortably close and not just one, but three security workers escorted us out, treating us like we were dangerous and staring at the infant strapped to my friends chest like it was a weapon. Other than the rude security guards, very nice place, impressively big.
Bill Stone
Parking fee is too high, and there is not enough paved parking lots. If it is a popular event you often have to park in a muddy field even though you paid the same high price as others who got to park on pavement. They should either lower the fee or provide better parking lots.
Denise Caldwell
Nice place for very large group. Well cared for.
I do think after seeing hundreds and hundreds of water bottles and cola cans in trash....they should SERIOUSLY think of putting in recycling for these 2 things at entrances into and out of auditorium, as they don't decompose at all in earth, hazardous to the land and wildlife.
I was surprised they don't support recycling.
John Thompson
This place is gigantic and very well layed out. I was there for the SKILLS USA contest and was very impressed by the very helpful and friendly local staff. You need something to set up? They get it now! You have an issue with electrical hookups? Seone is ready to help in a very short time. You want to look around at all the areas available? Bring your walking shoes. This place is BIG!
Pete D.
Massive.
I exhibit all across the continent for my company, and this is one of the largest centers I've exhibited at.
Good wifi strength, lots of bathrooms all over and decent/average food vendors available. Very easy to access via the freeways and very close to local restaurants, hotels and shopping centers.
Mario Casillas
Had a great time huge beautiful place!! Great time at the GIE convention
wanda walton
I was so amazed @ the design of this convention center! The way they accommodated the AAU teams, the 66 courts & the clean atmosphere of this center! The people that worked there were friendly & very helpful!!! Whoever designed that center I applaud them!!! I just enjoyed the whole experience!!! I give full credit to the ladies that beat 419 yesterday @ this center, awesome game!!!
Cheryl Vanlier
Huge facility!!! Not enough Signage. You can't navigate easily. Been there twice and got Lost in the Building 3 times
Troy Windhorst
A great exposition facility that can accommodate nearly any type of convention, performance, rodeo, flea market... the list goes on and on. The facility's original focus was the state fair. Though the state fair is still probably the biggest event, especially for those 11 days in August, the focus has shifted to the convention and exposition business. For the state fair, is provides more indoor, air-conditioned square footage than any other state fair in the country (as of this writing). It's a huge place providing a lot of Class A expo space (bright lights, high ceilings, and few columns). There also a lot of older spaces at the facility which provides areas where an expo can get a little dirty if it needs to. There are three stadiums here as well. This place can handle it all. The places was built in the 50s with major renovations and expansions in nearly each decade. It has kept up with the times, but navigating can be a little convoluted as the layout was obviously not a single vision when originally designed. They have done a decent job, though. *THE BAD* Parking can be a nightmare. Different traffic flows and patterns have been used over the years. None have really worked that well. If you are going to an all-day event, it's usually not an issue. If you are going to an event that starts at a certain time (show, concert, etc.)... go VERY early... get there HOURS early! It is common for traffic to quickly back up onto interstate ramps and move less than a snail's pace. Getting out can be almost as bad, though maybe a little faster. Parking lots are scattered all over. Most of the time, I usually end up in a lot that is nowhere near the part of the facility where I want to go. Sometimes, I have dished out the parking fee and ended up in a muddy, grassy, auxiliary lot... never happy about that. The parking is not always this bad, but be warned... it can easily be. Check their website to see if you are visiting on a day with multiple events... this may help to decide when to arrive. In summary, other than the parking, I really do consider this place to be a world class exposition facility.
Chelsea Martin
We were here for a cheer competition. The venue is nice and large. Only downfall is there isn't really any room to make final touches of getting ready. Plus there isn't easily accessible handicap seating. The women's bathroom was out of soap and with as many people that were there soap is a must especially during flu season. First aid was used by our girls and we had to have some ice packs. Thin bags were used and we got very little ice that was huge chunks so that didn't really help the situation.
Stan Triplett
Good, clean facility to watch good shows. One negative is the seats are very tight theatre seats. However, plenty of concession stands and staff is eager to help.
Valeria Matthews
The place is huge and great for events of large number of people.
E Mitchell
It is fun and the place is huge and Nice. My animals love it and so do I 😀 …
Terri Brown
Beautiful! A nice place to have a Christmas Party. I really enjoyed being there. BE BLESSED!
Toby Brandenburgh
Visited here in August of '03 to attend a car show. This was my job at the time. Nice place, well maintained, conveniently located next to the airport with easy access to and fro. Had I know that Churchill Downs was right around the corner, I'd have made a quick tourist side trip. But the thing I remember most is the heat. Up to that point, I had spent 32 summers in Florida. I THOUGHT I knew what real heat was. I was wrong. It was so hot for two days, it actually hurt to go outside. It was a pain that I have never felt before or since and one that I hope I never feel again.
Diesel Girl
This was my 1st truck show & it was frkn awesome!
The trucks were beautiful, the ppl were all friendly, lots of give aways & plenty of parking.
There couldve been more seating throughout the expo center, alotta ppl would have appreciated that. Lots of older ppl...
All in all tho, a wonderful experience for me!
Tricia Crapet
A huge place with several venues. We attended the NSRA Street Rod Nationals where 11,000 cars had registered and there was more than enough room for everyone. Facilities were more than adequate and there was adequate parking outside of the actual venue, as well. The only problem that we encountered was overcrowded streets to access the venue and what seem to be ill-prepared law enforcement to direct traffic.
Rachel Bussey
We went there for the World Spirit Cheer Competition and it was well organized with signage, and an information booth. The large facility was clean for the large magnitude of people there. The workers were busy bees cleaning, ckecking wristbands, selling tickets, etc., but always courteous and helpful.
S Smith
This expo center is very large and has many meeting rooms on 2 floors. It's right next to the airport so you can see planes fly by low which is cool but very loud. The GIE expo is held each October here and has so much to see. If you plan to attend anything here, bring good walking shoes.
Bert Rognsvoog
This has got to be one of the best venues to attend a conference or convention at in the USA. This impressive complex is user / visitor friendly to the point of craziness. We enjoyed meeting quite a few employees of the complex over several days and we were impressed beyond belief with everyone along the way.
Mike Brown
Louder than life is a lot of fun
clement augustus
It was crowded. Food was high cost.
Jonathan Terry
I go here once a year for the Mid America Truck Show. Its always a good time and clean facility. The restrooms are clean and the staff stays on top of the trash situation. Always a good time, although the prices are a bit high at the food vendors.
Jacob Filipy
The convention center is just absolutely massive and an amazing sight. I went for VEX worlds for my third year in a row and the size of the place is not lost on me. It accommodates more than enough people at once.
Sean Harrington
Nice event venue, but had to pay $8 each time I had to come in and out to park. The food there is greasy and overpriced, so we had to leave to get good food and then had to pay to get back in. They should allow you to leave and come back within the same day.
Chris Hiser
Take out a loan for parking other than that the fairgrounds is constantly updating renovating and staying "fresh". Generally clean and easy in/out. Enter off Preston hwy for the large events and you will get in faster.
R England
Had fun at the carnival Saturday. Nice family time.
OB Carter
Nice exhibition space. The food vendors were horrible. There was a Kentucky ham booth that was pathetic. The food was at the lowest rung possible. Overpriced and badly executed. A serious rethink should be done. If that is a representation of Kentucky ham shamefully done.
The guards were professional and helpful.
Plenty of free parking.
Joseph Esposito
The Mid America Truck Show the hours should be longer. I recommend taking a cart with you. With all the vendors there they give away a lot of stuff to much to carry around. It is way to big to do in one day.
Instructor Nether
Recently got loaded here in B Docks after Mid America Truck Show. Docks are super tight if there are other trucks back there. Staff is friendly and fast. There are no dock plates or doors. It's old school setup. Just back up to the rubber bumpers and if you're straight enough they will put the skid plate down on you.
Adam Wright Motorsports
inexpensive summer fun. We usually get the season pass when it first goes on sale, and take the kids to the water park just about every weekend during the summer. Great value and lots of fun for the whole family IMO.
Alexander Leininger
My brother and I went to GIE to the first time and honestly it was pretty amazing I even got to meet one of my business mentors in person, I was honestly pretty cringe because of my excitement.... lol
Error G
Make sure you keep an eye out on their website. The Kentucky Fair and Expo Center has so many events thet are family oriented. Me and my family absolutely love coming here. There's usually something about every month that attracts us. Keep up the good work
matt lamoureux
Bathrooms were a bit messy. Venue food was overpriced. Food trucks were available which gave a much needed extra option. The event was well organized and well suited to accompany the capacity of visitors.
Azrey Crisp
The exposition center is a great venue for large events. My only criticism is that it can be hard to navigate if you're not familiar with the structure and there isn't a ton of maps or anything posted to help you out, but the staff will help and there are a few kiosk stations that will help you get around.
Fiona Thea
For King and Country Concert was AWESOME
The Honestmen
Went for a volleyball tournament ...omg...what a great location. Hosted 850 teams and 120 courts. Lots of space for vendors and easy to move around and parking was ok too.
Troy Hunter
Went to the flea market. Their deal of giving back half the parking fee was brilliant. Dipper's Delight. The coffee lady And the 10 for a $1 candy guy are all great.
Nicole L.
Was at the LTL event first day had to walk a very long distance, second wasn't as long, third finally found the shuttle. VIP wasn't that great I paid extra for better toilets, maybe they should think about adding parking in with VIP tickets, that was an extra $20.
Henry Talacko
It was very big but a little hard to get around. They really need to work out there heating and cooling. The first day there was very hot. Everybody there was sweating, even inside the building. The other days I was there, they had it to cold. You had to have your jacket on all the time. Also, they only had wifi in certain areas in the building.
Jclaker24
Most of the time you have to pay for parking some of vents do not have you pay large event space Freedom Hall has great concerts the Kentucky Fair is by far the largest attraction at this venue facilities are clean and they definitely have enough bathrooms to host a capacity crowd
brandi fuson
Large area well maintained.
Samuel Chen
Visited during vex world championship. Awesome center with a lot of space. Also, the janitors were super friendly and helpful, getting the place set up super fast. The food around the center was fine and freedom hall was super cool
Arley Bradley
Very large and has maps that can help you guide around the entire building. I have been here 3 times for the nationals archery tournaments in the past 3 years and I love this play. Very large and has an amazing design.
Chad Hardison
The restrooms are never clean. Parking and traffic flow are a nightmare. If you are going for a large event add an extra hour to your trip to find a parking spot and be prepared to walk a mile to get back to the entrance.
Micah Horner
Prepare to walk. Went for the antique military show and there was a flee market and a separate gun show all in the building
Susan Pitman
The layout and driving around this place is pretty confusing. We had no idea which entrance we were supposed to be going in the first day. I tried to walk back to the hotel (because it was a pleasant day) and was confronted by fences around everything and roads blocked where Google Maps said I could walk. Wish it was more walkabout-friendly.
Richard Fischer
This has been a wonderful place ever since I was a kid 60 years ago. they have done a nice job of keeping it renovated and up to date. the annual car show is a huge event.
kristie crowl
Same great stuff that they have every year at the fair but found out the midway didn't open until 3. My 4yr. Old was pretty upset.
John Moy
Extremely massive, connected exhibit halls, for large shows. Parking should have shuttles from remote parking. Better signage and exhibit planning could help to find exhibitors. Need more rest areas.
Mike Sheanshnag
nice, clean spacious venue. Concessions were a little pricey but what isn't these days
Preston Blake
Worked in the Kentucky State Bee Keepers booth and enjoyed it.
Dennis Aker
Went there for the National Farm Machinery Show. I really enjoyed the machinery show. The concessions were outrageously priced. $4.00 for a bottle of water. It's that way at any arena though so nothing out of the ordinary.
Russell Wolfe
Great facility! Plenty of display space. Easy ingress and egress. Ample parking and traffic moves quickly.
Bruce H
We had a very good time at the fair. We were there for the band at one of the beer tents, To take in a couple of the free acts. To eat lunch at the beef, pork, fish, poultry, and vegetable growers tent. And to walk around some and buy fudge and a corn dog. Four hours later we had had all the fun our feet could stand. I will say the trollies to your car were running bunched up and we had to wait 35 minutes to catch one to leave. If my feet had not been hurting so much, I'd have probably just walked back to my car.
Sherry McCoy
This place is AMAZING! There were several venues going on at the same time and none interfered with the other. Our 4-H teams from NC were there for Competition. GREAT family atmosphere! 🍀🐴🥰🤗💯🤗🥰🐴🍀 …
Mary Russell
For an older person with disabilities it is a very long walk. There were no benches to sit down. Seems like with all the workers there you could have had some closer to neighborhoods.
Jim Smith
KY State Fair was enjoyable, some vendors missing, not as big a crowd, was good to return to somewhat a normal summer.
David Skerritt
I've been to many convention centers and this one was about middle of the road. It seems to be an older building and there is a newer wing that we didn't go to. Bathrooms were clean and staff was friendly. Food was pretty overpriced, about double what you would expect to pay for something.
Joe L
Went there to see the Mid-America Trucking show and as usual the show itself was good, but the big disappointment this year was the convention center. On Friday, they evacuated everybody out of the South Wing because of some scare / threat and 10 minutes later canceled it. I did not return side, instead choosing to go see the Outdoor Show trucks and then head home
MOTOR CITY MAN
Great hosting center 2018 MATS
Jonathan Brown
The expo center is rather old but they have been doing some updates and modernization over the last few years. Some parts are better than others though as they update some areas before others. Parking can be an issue though, it is a large lot but that means you may have to walk a long way for larger events. Also their are multiple gates you can enter, it might be in your best interest to avoid Gate #1, near the airport, as it is generally the busiest. Consider some of the small gates off of Preston or Crittenden rather than #1.
B Johnny
Was amazing. Rides were amazing.
Ya'll need to chill on the prices though. 10 bucks for a slice of pizza, one burger and fries, or chicken tenders and fries. The portions are not worth it.
Also, ten bucks for one mixed drink?
I just go out to the car and eat a sandwich.
The penguin river which is now the rapid river i believe was a bore. Truthfully.
Loved the storm chaser! Rode it so many times this weekend my wife and i lost count. They have two cars going to the line goes fast.
Water park was cool. I think you have too many shops open there specifically. Makes things appear crowded. But tube rides were incredible.
On to staff. They were plesant enough. I had quite a few i liked following from ride to ride. The got everone hyped up. Not so much first thing in the morning. Morning shift did not appear too approachable. But i think thats everyone before their cup of coffee.
I honestly admired ya'll for the free drink stands though. Ya'lls prices were too high.
All in all my vacation with my wife was perfect. Thanks guys.
Rodrigo Vilela
Place is great for events. Visited the last State Farm Fair and everything was just fine. Parking ok. Restrooms and food court well located. Good infrastructure.
Nolan McAfee
My family and I really enjoyed our visit to Kentucky Kingdom. It wasn't as crowded as other theme parks, and the lines for the rides were shorter. The kiddie park was really nice, with lots of rides that all three of our kids (4, 1, and 1) could ride, and they really enjoyed themselves.
Daniel Morales
Huge place. Located by University of Louisville Football stadium and fair grounds. Be aware that may cause extra traffic. Plan ahead to make it to your event on time. Great place to have event. Event staff-- for the most part -- is well trained, friendly, and responsive. Parking is no reentry and cost $8. Parking lot and gates can be confusing; if it's your first time you may want to ask parking lot attendant where to go. Freedom Hall (where we were) is just one part of enormous complex.
Andy Hess
First time here for work with AT&T. Everyone is friendly. The place is so massive I got lost. Tons of venders with alot of items to offer. Bring your walking shoes you'll be walking alot. I like the structure and stone work.
Eddie Griest
I visit the g.i.e. every year and have a blast here, the building is huge!
Lauren Brown Turner
This place is HUGE and had plenty of food vendors. Parking was easy and not excessively priced. I like that the arena and amusement park are in the same compound. They kept it clean as well.
Adrien Kooyman
The Kentucky Exposition Center has always been home to so many fun entertaining shows and events since I was a little kid. It's such a nostalgic fun scene to bring my kids now to enjoy many of the same shows I loved as a kid. The Kentucky State Fair in August is a must for anyone who wants a feel for Kentucky love. Always love coming here.
Diane Lippelt
During the state fair, it is crowded, yet those who work cleaning do a wonderful job. Everything is clean, including the bathrooms. I really enjoy going to the fair, & the Exposition Center is a good place for it.
Jereme Scheffel
Headed here for a few concerts and just recently the Trump Rally. Huge area, nice facilities, and great style. I would say the parking is overpriced, but hey, got to get money somehow for upkeep.
Linda Pendergrass
A lot of walking and a lot to see! The truck show was awesome. It was very resourceful and gave you lots of ideas and knowledge of the many differences of companies and resources to help owners and businesses..
Daniel Lowe
South wing use to have a few places to sit down to rest, but only seats were in eating area this year
Ronnie Brown
I love going here! There are so many different exhibits going on, all the time. Flea markets, guns shows, knife shows, car shows, and thats just to name a few. There is always parking, it may not be up close, it may be a pretty good walk but it is well worth it. The Kentucky Expo center offers food...good food i might add. They offer drinks and plenty of benches to take a rest before venturing on to the next bit of entertainment. I recommend checking the web site for a list of dates and times before riding out. I highly recommend going there no matter what the exhibit might be.
LeClara E Whitlock
Huge auditorium good for graduations even though the seating on the floor wasn't comfortable. No widescreen but a spacious parking lot. Parking per carload $10.
Samson King
This is my first time in this place. Awesome experience and interesting place to visit in ky. We are here for our daughter’s basketball games for the entire weekend. People and teams from all across the nation are here this weekend and college coaches from more than 600 Schools are here too. God, glorify yourself
Errica
We loved the park. We had the 2day pass and all drinks were free. Their food prices were extremely high. To get to some of the rides there were a lot of steps. All in all it was good.
Laura Bergner Owens
Kentucky made voting early EASY! COVID SAFE! No creepy people hanging around to intimidate me.
I was apprehensive about early voting, tired, didn't feel like dealing with crowds.
This was THE BEST VOTING EXPERIENCE I've ever had.
Max Rakutt
Very clean as always. Kind of disappointed in the boat show this year. They seem to only cater to run about / pontoon boaters and RVrs. You get the occasional lake boat but it's nothing like it used to be.
Mark Armstrong
Was there for pug fest 2022. Great time. Nice and clean
Andy B
It was a big crowd for MATS. Had a great time and met some great people.
Martha Murray
Loved the concert and venue but parking was terrible we were 8 minutes away and paid 50.00 for a cab then we decided to park the 2nd night and it was cheap but we waited 2 hours for a shuttle to take us to our car which was in the same parking lot but our car was about 1 mile away.. they should have had more shuttles working and the driver was driving so fast I thought he was going to wreck!
Charley Baugh
It was good we had a nice time at the fair and looking at all of the booths and bought alot of stuff and rode most of the rides played alot of the games won a few prizes we will be going back next year
Dru Vendetta
Always a fight for parking even though you have to pay for it. Bathrooms are generally clean, never enough seating for eating, long lines and such. Generally clean outside and inside.
