Awesome is the word which sums up our wedding experience here. We were faced with the possibility of thundershowers but Buddy, Alda, & crew worked hard to get both indoor and outdoor venues prepared. Eventually the weather held off and our daughter had a gorgeous outdoor wedding. Most, if not all, of the attendees commented that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Buddy and Alda have the experience, and maybe more importantly, the passion to deliver a dream come true wedding. The wedding memories of our daughter, son in law, family, guests, and ourselves (Mom & Dad) will be treasured for the rest of our lives.

There truly are just not enough great things I can say about this venue, the amenities, the staff or our experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding venue. It fell into our lap and we had NO idea what a blessing that would be. The convenience of having the wedding and reception in one location is always great! Now add that it is absolutely beautiful and the most unique Experience makes it fabulous. From the antique truck that brought in the Groom and his men, the daddy/daughter carriage ride through woods to the alter, the dove release at the end of the ceremony, the beautiful fresh flowers down the aisle and at the alter (provided by the venue), the pretty decorated reception area, the very tasty/gorgeous cake (provided by the venue), to the dramatic firework drive off in the antique car for the bride and groom (everything mentioned was part of the venue package) it was the most amazing experience and I was just the mother of the bride. Alda and Buddy run a business, and one you can tell they take a lot of pride in, but not at any point did it feel like it. It felt more like we were utilizing a long-time family friend’s home. They were professional, but more importantly sweet, caring and kind. There is no detail she doesn’t have covered. I am thankful not only for a beautiful venue, but that we had the chance to get to know them! My daughter and our family have he most beautiful memories. If you are looking for sweet, beautiful and relaxing this is definitely the place for you!

Alda and Buddy are the absolute best. My husband and I had the most magical wedding here. We are still getting comments from friends and family of how it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Alda has thought of every detail. She captured my vision perfectly, and was so fun and comfortable to work with. She has everything! I wanted teacups, she had teacups. I wanted pumpkins, she got pumpkins. My husband collects typewriters and she had a vintage typewriter on display! Not to mention the horse drawn carriage, wooden doors, dove release, chandelier, and fireworks! The venue is beautiful at every turn, from the bridal room, the grooms quarters, the ceremony, and the reception in the carriage house. Our guests loved how many places there were to hang out during the reception. You will not be disappointed if you choose to have your wedding at Alda’s Magnolia Hill. My only regret is that I can’t relive the day over and over.

Our daughter was married to the man of her dreams at the venue of her dreams, Alda’s Magnolia Hill. The wedding was outside by the pond under the red and gold hued trees. She arrived at the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. The reception was held in a beautifully decorated barn. I had so many guests say this was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Alda and Buddy made that happen. It’s like having family plan and host your wedding. Alda was so easy to work. Everything was absolutely perfect.

This is a wonderful wedding venue! The groom arrives by canoe, the bride arrives in a horse drawn carriage, and the couple releases two white doves after the kiss. Alda runs a tight ship and keeps everyone on time. 10/10 would recommend.

My brother and his now wife had their wedding their this past weekend and it was BEYOND anything they could have dreamt! They loved it and everyone there loved it as well. They have wonderful views, fantastic and hardworking people, and many little surprises throughout the wedding. The set up was absolutely stunning!!! I loved being in the wedding and they did everything in their power to make it the most perfect day possible! I feel they succeeded!!! I 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a place to have their wedding!

Don’t bother looking for a different venue! Alda and Buddy are absolute professionals. Their venue is spectacular, their attention to detail is unmatched and their professional connections with caterers, florist, hair & makeup, photographers and venue staff show the years of experience they have in working together to make the day a memorable experience for the bride and groom. Everything ran smoothly down to the smallest of details. They think of everything. Thank you Alda and Buddy!!!

Was at a wedding last weekend and I was so impressed with this beautiful place and the staff were amazing and extremely professional and nice. If there was a way to give more stars I absolutely would. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a wedding venue.

Dream Come True When we first walked into Alda's Magnolia Hill it was like stepping into years past beginning in the foyer so many treasures past. Alda took us out for a tour of the Wedding venue, the first was the altar where we met Buddy (Alda's husband ) and a table with a basket that we were told held 2 doves in a basket that by opening they would fly to signal unity (but they always came back afterwards to their home) the alter overlooked a beautiful lake. We were then taken and showed where the reception would be held (and the wedding if it rained) I was given the option of a horse and carriage that would take me though a wooded path for my entrance to where the wedding was, and Bruce was given the option of canoeing across the lake. all these were included in the price along with a cake and flowers to decorate the alter, benches and reception area, leaving us more than enough money for our bouquets, corsages, botineres and other body flowers we wanted. On the day of the wedding Alda was behind the scenes ensuring that things continued to progress smoothly without interrupting the wedding, once there all I had to worry about is making sure my wedding dress, tiara, and shoes with the help of my Maid of honor was on. I will not share anymore details because I would like you to be surprised as I was on my wedding day. I am extremely grateful to Alda and her husband Buddy. Our Wedding was a dream come true. We got married here on 10-10-20 and it was the absolute best wedding experience we could have asked for. Alda and Buddy put SO much effort into making our day special, I really could have never imagined how amazing it was going to be. Beautiful venue, wonderful staff, and the best night of our lives. Alda was born to do what she does! She made our wedding everything we’d always dreamed of! It was a stress free easy weekend where we could just focus getting married while she made every detail perfect. I cannot give Alda enough stars! Any hiccup we encountered (which was very few) was handled professionally and fixed before I even found out so there was nothing for me to stress about! My husband and I absolutely fell in love with Alda and her place the first time we went to look at it! While it is expected I will definitely say you get what you pay for! My mom loved that she didn’t have to do a lot of work decorating and I loved that Alda had a list of people she liked to work with, which helped me with the planning, especially since I lived in Texas and at the time the rest of my family and my husband were in Arkansas still. Alda was truly a helpful guide through the whole process and my family will tell you that I was probably the most chill and relaxed bride they’d seen. The only thing that was a struggle for me was the communication would be off at times but otherwise everything seemed to go smoothly and it was a truly beautiful day. Definitely would suggest going here if you have the expenses and want the hassle free wedding of your dreams!!!

My wife and I got married at Alda's on 10/11/2015, and couldn't have asked for anything better! Alda and Buddy are by far the most amazing people we have ever been around, and welcomed us into their home with the hospitality that one would can only get in a southern women's home. We lived out of state when we were planning the wedding, and with that we told Alda what ideas we had and what we wanted to see, and Alda and Buddy knocked it out of this world! The decor and atmosphere was above and beyond what anything my wife and I could have ever dreamed of. Alda made sure everything ran like a well oiled machine, and everything was absolutely perfect. Alda's is the only place that we would ever recommend anyone to get married! Again a huge thanks to Alda and Buddy for being apart of the most amazing day of our lives!

We've been to several weddings here. It's a beautiful place, but definitely very pricey and particular. It's neat to see the groom coming in on the canoe and the bride coming in on the horse drawn carriage though.

We absolutely loved this property. Both Alda and Buddy are unbelievably fantastic people. Our only sticking point was having to work with Catering Creations. We had an inexplicably awful experience with them before the food had a chance to ever hit the table. They were overpriced, impossible to get ahold of and completely inflexible for food or budget options. We had to break our contract with Magnolia Hill simply based on Catering Creations exclusivity there. It absolutely broke our heart. IF you are remotely interested in Magnolia Hill, meeting with Catering Creations beforehand is an absolute must...do NOT take anyone's word for it including Buddy and Alda at Magnolia Hill. It was an expensive lesson for us to learn but hopefully we can help someone else dodge the same pitfall.

Beautiful setting and the staff are warm n friendly as well as professional. A little pricey in my book but if you can afford it the memories are worth the money.
