My experience with JetBlack Travel was nothing short of amazing. We traveled to Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana for the Taste of Africa Tour. I knew right from the start that I was in good hands with JetBlack. They provided plenty of updates and helpful information leading up to the trip and even helped to navigate a complicated flight booking process. I had a travel mishap that caused me to be one day late for the trip but the JetBlack associates kept in constant contact with me during the delay and reassured me that I wouldn’t miss a thing when I arrived. When I got there, I immediately connected with my awesome travel mates, and we had an unforgettable experience. The guides kept their promise—I didn’t miss anything on the agenda and they even included a few surprises. The guides were attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. The planned activities were fun, informative, and truly once-in-a-lifetime adventures. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I will travel with JetBlack again and again. In fact, I’m already plotting on a trip to Ghana with them. I’m hooked!

Let me first say Ghana was amazing. I have to say this trip far exceeded my expectations. It was very affordable and worth every dime. Jetblacktravel is did and awesome job at putting together a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the other travelers were amazing, Alex was amazing. I feel like I met an extended family.

I enjoyed meeting new people, sight seeing and connecting with the Afro-Colombians and learning more about their unique culture within Colombia. To celebrate my birthday I joined Jet Black in Dakar, Senegal. The trip was everything I could have asked for and more. The Jet Black team was patient and professional during the entire process. They were easy to communicate with and promptly addressed any questions and concerns. The resort was 5 star, the activities were amazing and the other travelers in my group were the best! This was my second trip with Jet Black and I am looking forward to the next one!

Columbia was my first Jetblack trip and I had a great time! I’d been looking for a professional, fun, minority focused travel group for a while and I found it in Jetblack! The itinerary was jam packed with fun, wild, and educational activities but there were still moments to relax in between. The hosts were amazing, always ready to help and curated such a great Medellin experience. Whether you are traveling solo or with your friends, definitely go on a Jetblack trip! This was my first time booking a travel group trip. I did so because it’s hard to coordinate trips with my friends, but I did not want to travel by myself. I chose Medellín Colombia because the trip was 5 days. Long enough to enjoy. Short enough that I could get through it if I was not enjoying it. I was nervous because I’m not always a fan of crowds and a group of 20 seemed like a lot. But everyone was kind and I made some good friends. The events were well planned out. It’s clear that Alex, Yale, and Drea are passionate about what they do. They booked a balanced combination of exciting activities. A boat tour and fancy restaurants if you want to feel fancy. A hike 500+ steps up La Piedra if you prefer to be active. And multiple opportunities to meet, dine with, and learn from native Colombians about their history, neighborhoods, and culture. You’re not bound to the itinerary, so if you want to take some time to explore on your own, or stay in and recover from the previous night, you can. I enjoyed my time and do plan to go on other trips in the future.

Once again, JetBlack has curated an amazingly fun and learning experience. This is my second trip with the JetBlack family. Yes, I said it right. This is the JetBlack family. After every trip, I gain an extended family. This is more than just a vacation. We are immersed into a cultural experience. In Ghana, we learned about the country’s history and experienced the culture through a Jollof cooking class and visiting Dixcove to learn about and be part of a ritual tradition. One of the big highlights for me was visiting Cape Coast Castle to learn about the experience and conditions the slaves had to endure. Jetblack has now become like family.. so beautiful to always meet young beautiful professional that share a common thing, the love of traveling and other cultures The Taste of Africa trip to Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe was yet another successful trip for me with Jetblack travel. It was everything I expected and more… these beautiful people shared their lives, their food, their struggle and culture with open arms and a smile on their faces always. JetBlack Travel has outdone themselves again! Everything was so intentionally curated and planned for this trip to Egypt. I have traveled with JetBlack three times (and counting) - first Cuba, then Colombia, and now to Egypt and the attention to detail has been consistent. It was such a beautiful blessing to explore Egypt with so many phenomenal Black professionals. We were in a safe space to share, laugh, dance, learn, and take a break from the busyness of our everyday lives. From the very beginning of the trip where I was greeted by their partner Envision Travels at the airport to traveling to various destinations with the travel group, I felt at ease and enjoyed the adventures in the itinerary. I booked a trip to Ghana with JetBlack Travel in December 2020. I have always wanted to travel to Africa but never had anyone to go with and wasn't comfortable traveling solo. Not only that, but was just nervous planning a trip in a foreign country. JetBlack Travel provided me an amazing experience. It was one of the BEST trips I have ever taken. Al (the owner) got on the phone with me and explain the trip in detail and answered any questions I had. He remained responsive throughout the trip. He went above and beyond to make sure all guest were as comfortable as possible. I was impressed at how patient he was (even with me lol) He collaborated with people from Ghana before arriving to assist with making arrangements for hotel and events which was nice. We had a detailed schedule of activities for the entire trip by day but it also left time for us to get out an explore on our own. Honestly it was one of the most well rounded trips I have ever taken. I was able to experience the culture, learn the history, visit nearby villages, learn to cook local food, experience luxury spas, hang with the locals at the market (my favorite part), have drinks by the beach, party all night for new years and meet some pretty dope people along the way. If you are going to spend money and take time off to travel, this is definitely the kind of experience you want to have. Well worth it and I would definitely travel with JetBlack again.

The trip to Zanzibar curated by Jet Black Travel was one of a lifetime. This was not my first group trip but was my first trip with Jet Black Travel. I can say from experience that the professionalism, organization and attentiveness of the Jet Black team truly should be modeled by other travel companies. The 5 star beachfront villas were beautiful with breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset, perfect for meditation. The excursions left nothing to be desired as they cultivated cherished memories of the motherland that I will never forget. They even had a professional team of photographers/videographers to capture all the moments. Last but certainly not least, the other travelers in my group were amazing and great connections were made! Three of us were so impressed with our experiences we booked the Egypt/Jordan 2023 trip while at breakfast during the Zanzibar trip. Highest honor and gratitude to the Jet Black Travel Team! Traveling with complete strangers can be a bit of a toss up, but after my first travel experience with Jet Black Travel I can honestly say it was 100% worth it!! I enjoy a busy itinerary so this trip was ideal as we visited all of the major sites that Capetown had to offer, however there was never any pressure to join in on any of the group activities if you wanted to do your own thing for the day. Alex and team were attentive, personable, present, and did everything in their power to ensure that we would have a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday!! What a wonderful experience! Jet Black Travel’s Accra, Ghana 2021 trip was a wonderful combination of culture and night life. The group host (Dr. AO) and tour guide (Liz) were wonderful. Hotel accommodations and transportation were included. The actual travel group was amazing. We came to Ghana as individuals but left as a family. My first trip with JetBlack Travel to Dubai, has been an amazing cultural experience. Travelling with a large group of people of my race and background has been invigorating and rewarding to see so many of our people from all aspects of life doctors, nurses, pharmacy flight attendance and etc. come together and enjoy ourselves as one is so amazing, refreshing and I can go on. The itinerary was informative (Dubai culture) and fun, turn up (club/night life) and relaxation. I went on the January 2022 Medellin Columbia trip. Drea, Yale and Alexis were amazing. Their professionalism and patience was top tier. It was evident that their goal was to make us comfortable and keep us satisfied. I had an amazing time. It was nothing but good people and good vibes from start to finish. The networking was priceless. We were a group of 20 which was perfect. Although we had a packed itinerary, the highlight for me was our last day where we were able to connect with the Afro COLUMBIANS and learn about their culture and experiences followed by drinking, singing and dancing. The night ended with salsa lessons and a party in our home. I’m not sure which one yet but I’ll definitely return for a future trip.
