Reviews of David Copperfield
Thomas Baugh
Booked at the last minute and wasn't sure what to expect. When David first came on and was making some small-talk I didn't completely follow I was getting nervous but I have to say, by the end, it had completely won me over.
Yes, the style and presentation is a bit cheesy but I actually liked that - a sort of throwback to watching TV magic shows in my childhood. And even though I might have sighed whenever the big curtain went up again, I was always astonished by what was revealed.
I kind of get what some of the negative reviewers are saying about the magic itself but I think you have to appreciate the difference between a magician and an illusionist. This is more dramatic and theatrical. I liked the overarching story David had put together and felt some genuine emotion as it reached the finale. Considering he cranks out three of these shows a day, I'm impressed by his endurance and showmanship.
It was a nice way to spend a few hours in Vegas with my wife and 7 year old daughter, giving us something we can look back on for years to come. Thanks David.

I’m so glad my family and I got to see the David Copperfield show. My daughters will never forget attending this show! I highly recommend buying tickets. The show has a great message. David Copperfield actually performs! Not like
the other guy at Planet Hollywood…

The theater has amazing views everywhere. The show was amazing. Although I wasn't a fan of the "random audience participation" but overall it was an unbelievable experience and the set design was spectacular
I got these tickets it was on my boyfriends bucket list. It was worth it to see him smile like a little kid throughout the show. SO thankful for the opportunity to see David copperfield

Great show! David never fails to impress with his ever evolving show! It was a good mix of story, magic, illusion, humor, and drama all presented with the flair Copperfield is known for. Definitely gets my vote for top magician! I watched him as a kid growing up and now got to see him live and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed! I actually welled up with tears in the show but they were happy tears. Definite must see while in Vegas!

The most incredible show. It's interactive....DC was often very close to all of us or speaking directly to us...then a car or spaceship would appear above us....incredible audience experience.

Great show as always. This is my 5th David Copperfield show and my second Blu show. I brought my mom for her birthday since she grew up watching him and she was very impressed.
The reason for my rating is because David’s voice was not being projected properly and we couldn’t articulate what was happening.
Reason number 2 is the political references that were subtle but very much understood by everyone. I honestly believe that as a showman, just keep doing what you do best and stay away from politics (at least during your show)

He made a car appear on stage so that was incredible and my favorite part of the about 75 minute show. show. We would give 3.5 star rating of that was an option.
Things I wish I knew before I bought front row tickets.
1. No table service so you need to exit theatre for drinks.
2. Front row tables are 4 chairs per tiny round table. Super squished. I would not recommend front row seats though. Save the dough.
3. What’s with the alien puppet show? This was really bizarre. Especially his interactions with said puppet
4. He’s kind of a D!@k to people. No not kind of, he is rude to the audience.
5. Language please. It was like he got paid to say GD over and over.
6. It was difficult to hear him talking. Unless he was mumbling to himself 😉 but I’m pretty sure he was talking to the audience. You just couldn’t hear him well.
Making the car appear was the best! It was also the highlight of the show.
It was fun but I expected more, after all he is a David Copperfield. So don’t pay 150.00 a ticket like we did. Buy the cheaper ones and you have a great view.
