Where do I start. This venue is an Old German church built in the 1800's. It is incredibly beautiful for any event you would have. We attended the Fever Candlelight event and had a wonderful time. The musicians were incredible!

This venue is an absolute dream. It was everything I envisioned my wedding to be. On top of it being beautiful, Jasmine, Summer and Cyrus were great to work with and very understanding of what I wanted and the budget I had. On the day of my wedding, jasmine was there to orchestrate everything and ensure all went as planned which made everything a breeze as I didn’t have a wedding planner or day of coordinator. As a full time employee, this venue was very accommodating of my time to see the venue- on numerous occasions, I saw the venue after 4pm. Cyrus also makes some of the most amazing props for your wedding day. Below you’ll see my sweetheart table that Cyrus handmade along with a favors stand and cake table that Cyrus also handmade. This venue is a dream to look at and even better to work with! Couldn’t recommend more.

Really unique venue! The restoration work they've done is beautiful. It is wonderful to see the loving care they've given this old church. The bridal preparation room is amazing with nice decor and lots of room for even a large bridal party. Nice staircase for photos too!

We were here for a candlelight concert and the venue is a lovely old church. All workers were very pleasant and greeted everyone. This would be a place I would return to for another concert, small spa e so not crowded. And Vida is right down the street. I recommend there for a pre or post concert cocktail

Sommer was such an incredible asset to the entire wedding planning process. She was incredibly responsive and kept us up to date and took care of us from our first tour of the venue all the way until cleanup. The venue is amazing and the photos do not do it justice. Cyrus’ craftsmanship throughout the entire building is immaculate. We truly dont have enough great things to say about this Venue. Thank you so much for having us!!

Working with Cyrus to plan our fraternity formal was exceptional. He was extremely professional and always available to talk. Being that we are a student organizational IUPUI, Cyrus was mindful of our budget and did everything he could to ensure we were well accommodated. We never even had to set up the venue. Walking in the day before our event, the place was finished and everything was exactly how we wanted it. During the event, Cyrus was there to help clean up at the venue and welcome our guest. The bartender we had was excellent as well! There was a mishap at the venue due to one of our guests, and Cyrus immediately addressed the problem without skipping a beat. He was an incredible host, and I would be happy to work with him again. Highly suggest this venue to everyone.

I have had the honor and pleasure of officiating many weddings at the Cyrus place over the last several years. This venue is so beautiful and has so many options for couples who want to have their wedding here. From the large bridal suite, to the reception hall, to the beautiful open space upstairs, The Cyrus place is a unique and magical place to have your wedding or event. They are conveniently located right downtown in Indianapolis and every wedding I have ever officiated or Coordinated was absolutely beautiful. The staff is amazing and are always quick to respond to any communication. They go above and beyond for their couples. If you want a unique venue downtown then Definitely check out the Cyrus place!

Me and my husband picked the perfect venue for our wedding! Cyrus was amazing, making sure everything went smoothly and was absolutely perfect for us! I couldn’t have dreamed of a better venue! This place is absolutely beautiful, the wood and old stained glass windows made the perfect photos. Everyone worked so smoothly together, making the perfect atmosphere for us. Having our wedding at The Cyrus Place was the best experience. The beautiful and unique venue allows each person to make their event their own. Whether it be simple or extravagant, The Cyrus Place has everything you need. We loved working with Cyrus and the rest of the staff to plan a wedding day that was perfect for us. They walked us through every step and were happy to answer any questions as well as offer suggestions when needed. We absolutely loved having our small Senior Prom at The Cyrus Place! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The kids loved it and it was so special for each one of them! The fairy lights and chandeliers made it feel grand and the girls loved taking selfies in the large mirrors in the ladies bathroom! It was a seamless experience from the first email to exiting the building. Can't wait for our next event at The Cyrus Place!

This venue is an absolute dream. It was everything I envisioned my wedding to be. We had to postpone out wedding from August 2020 to July 2021 and they made the whole process so easy and nothing like the horror stories from other venues! They were always so welcoming and made us feel at ease at every part of the wedding planning! We often couldn't see the venue until after work and they always worked with our schedule for meetings and walkthroughs. Summer was there day of the wedding to make sure everything went smooth and we were so thankful for that! The venue itself is SO STUNNING you don't need many decorations to add so that was also a plus! They even invited us back if we ever want to take anniversary pictures there! Definitely recommend Cyrus place to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

We had our wedding here - ceremony upstairs and the reception downstairs with close to 130 guests and it was perfect! Jillian, the venue manager, and the owner Cyrus were great to work with and made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. Jillian was always willing to work with us to make sure we got exactly what we needed and wanted. The bridal suite and man cave areas are great - significantly better than any other venue I've been too. The venue is already beautiful which helped us cut costs on decorations and the flowers. For weddings with less than 150 guests, I would highly recommend this venue!

We have worked with this beautiful venue a couple of times now and it is always a great experience. The owner and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. This historic venue is just so visually appealing and has a lot of potential for any event. Their bathrooms on the main floors are huge and the women's bathroom has a well lit counter a mirror for makeup and hair. They also have a bridal suite and man cave. I highly recommend this Indianapolis venue and look forward to working with them more.

My wife and I had our reception at their venue; we had to cancel last minute with our original venue, due to some serious issues with customer service. Needless to say, we were very stressed that we had to find a venue in less than 3 months that fit our budget. Jillian and Cyrus came to our rescue; they worked hard to make what we wanted happen. We had a limited budget, but we were able to have an amazing reception due to the natural beauty of the venue and the teamwork of Jillian and Cyrus. We loved working with both of them and will always recommend the Cyrus Place as a great choice for our friends and family that are getting married. Thank you both for making our day so special!

Was at an Amplify Indy event tonight at this location. First, I'd like to note that Cyrus and his staff give great service to whoever they're hosting. Second, we had 2 speakers and 2 performances tonight. The space offered itself to be great for not only for the talks but for the musicians who played (acoustic guitars). Plus there was ample room for the art work and the 2 segments of a play. Having said that, I think that the old East Street Church (which I've always known it as) is one of the best places downtown to host an event and bring people together. Be it an event like ours, a wedding, or maybe even a class reunion?? There's plenty of space downstairs and upstairs. (Including separate his and her dens!) Also, they have access to plenty of parking which is hard to find downtown. Definitely consider this place - The Cyrus Place - if you want to host an event downtown.

The Cyrus Place was the perfect wedding venue. We loved working with Jillian and Cyrus. Cyrus personally helped watch traffic for our photographer so that she could safely step into the street to take our photos in front of the beautiful front door. We highly recommend them!

They were absolutely wonderful. With covid we had to postpone from May to October and they made everything happen! They took all our concerns and questions with ease. Cyrus was great at providing all information that we needed. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, and requires minimal decorating for couples. They also provided live streaming since we had family & friends who could not make it due to Covid. We had a wonderful night and it was absolutely wonderful, everything was PERFECT!

I have only been here once to set up for a wedding, and the day was rainy and gloomy, but everything inside was cozy and Victorian. As far as accessibility, I did not find any elevator to the ceremony area upstairs, so if you have older relatives or disabled people in attendance, you might want to have it on the first floor. All in all, if are looking for a venue that is a bit on the dark and medieval side, this is for you. Very unique venue.

My wife and I went to a Halloween concert and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere generated by Cyrus Place. The concert was held on the second story and it had good acoustics. The architecture was neat as well.
