Went for the Big Ten Fan Fest. There was plenty of room and it was easy to navigate. It was also connected to the skywalk, so we didn’t need to go out in the cold. Overall, it’s a nice space!

Very Large indoor facilities were a bit to get use to yet the directional & large signs overhead as well as those standing on the hallway floors where very helpful finding your way. Visiting now for the 2nd time with the NTEA National Work Truck Show as it was productive and enjoyable. Love the shuttle buses and free parking from the zoo...another great service. Overall Good experience, Highly Recommended.

The staff are very professional and on top of things. I see the janitors frequently cleaning so it's never very messy. The water bottle refilling stations are nice, but I wish there were more. The rooms are well built and they have lots of equipment available. The only downside is that the escalators are frequently not working.

I went for Urbana 2022. It was clean, easy to navigate, and spacious enough for a conference of ~6,000. It seems pretty accessible for those needing accommodations. However, the food options were pretty scarce, unreasonably expensive, and not particularly good. Nothing I ate at the convention center would have been preferable to a Subway sandwich. Fortunately there are a lot of options surrounding the location. I also think it would’ve been cool if all the signs pointing to different rooms and halls, and all the room signs themselves, were digital so that the conference itself could more easily integrate with the actual infrastructure of the center. It was pretty plain in terms of interior design, which is probably a plus for hosting many different conferences. The temperature in the building or in each room wasn’t always consistent so bring a sweatshirt/dress in layers. The parking situation around the center is a little tricky (lots of no parking) but GT parking is about a half mile away and they had shuttle service to and from the center (at least for our event). Pricing was $90 for a 5-day 24 hour parking pass.

It was ok, but there was no order for our tasks so, we were kind of all over the place. And as a post supervisor, I stayed polite to my co workers and staff. Being kind and teaching others to work together, usually makes things a whole lot better. Over all we all worked it out the best way we could. And I would return, as an employee.

Fun and exciting venue to come to for conventions and seminars. Well ventilated to keep things cool in the summer and insulated to keep it warm in the winter. With garage skywalks and underground connection to the stadium it's a modern facility that will boost any event it holds.

I attended a conference in the convention center, overall it was a good location. However, the room numbering is confusing sometimes, there are some rooms that you would expect to be close to each other but they are not. I like that it's connected to nearby buildings, like the Crowne Plaza hotel.

I came for the Performance Racing Industry this last year and I have to say wow! The convention center is huge and one of the nicest ones I’ve ever seen. The show was amazing and I highly recommend anyone that is in the car industry to attend. It is a sight to behold. The city was very accommodating as well and I am looking forward to coming back in years coming.

We attended the PRI Show at the facility. Everything was very well set up. Friendly staff everywhere. The place was kept clean even with a full house !

Spent the day here for Comic Con in Indy, and was very happy with the venue, and the event itself. We were there for a total of 5 hours, and could have spent more time exploring if it wasn't for a tuckered out kiddo. Plenty of space, even with a lot of people there it was pretty easy to keep your distance from others. Tons of room for the booths which were nicely laid out. Definitely will come back for future events!

We've experienced several conventions and meetings here over the years. Spacious, always clean and well lit. Good signage/maps and lots of nooks with comfy chairs and tables to chat, rest or eat.. Bathrooms are modern and clean. Food offerings a bit overpriced, but many options within walking distance. Just wear supportive shoes if you plan to stand or walk a lot due to the lack of cushioning on most floors. They do have water bottle filling stations - eliminating the need to purchase over priced water bottles. Scope out the ones that are not along the main traffic patterns to avoid lines. There are many hotels of varying price points within walking distance, some connected by the over-street walkways. Indy is easy to get around in both walking and driving.

The facility is well maintained. I have been in the facility for various activities ranging from a High School graduation to exhibiting at at trade show for my employer. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is easily accessible with several entrances. The signs, once inside, help guide and direct you to where you are wanting to go. There are plenty of restrooms. The concessions are a little pricey, but to be expected. There is plenty of parking; some with direct access to the facility through walkways. The facility is close to several restaurants and hotels.

Friendly and helpful staff and incredibly impressed with how well the a/c works with it being 92 out and thousands of people inside moving around. Also loved how clean everything was kept with employees constantly emptying trash and refreshing restrooms.

I love the Indy Convention Center. It's lay out us easy to navigate and all the amenities it has to offer are always kept in wonderful condition. You could ask for a better place to attend a convention. It is also surrounded by many wonderful restraunts and pubs.

The ICC has some difficulty staying air-conditioned when it's hot and humid/raining outside. Also, the rapaciousness of the parking, marked up to $30-40/day for the events, is ridiculous. If tourists from Indianapolis were treated this way when they traveled to (e.g.) Minneapolis or Dallas, they'd be outraged.

GenCon. What more can I say? The largest gaming convention in North America, and every game under the sun. The convention center, combined with Lucas Oil Stadium hold it all with room to grow.

We usually go every year. This year we were unable to go until the last day (easter) so crowd was smaller than Saturday I am sure. Guests this year were good for the size of Indianapolis and everyone is always so nice. It is a great crowd and a good time to geek out!

The Indianapolis Convention Center (ICC) is a fantastic venue. Whether small or large audience the ICC easily holds all. The greatest feature are the many connected skyways that connect the hotels and the mall. Rain, snow, heat, none of that matters as you'll be inside. ICC is surrounded by restaurants allowing those with cravings or dietary restrictions choices in what they eat. For those that are indifferent, the prices for food inside are reasonable as the convention is competing with said restaurants for your business. Walking by yourself inside the massive halls is quite serene when no convention is going on. Even if there was one (2,000 attendees), you'd be hard pressed to notice. For those of massive size (GenCon, 60,000 unique), the openness is appreciated as the space isn't suffocating (though you're drowning in people).

Great space for a trade show. The food court was closed when I was there, unsure if there just weren't enough shows or it was a Covid precaution. Facilities are very clean. Lots of nearby parking options for easy unloading. The business center is very convenient for last minute items (cables, tape, power cord, etc) as well as being able to assist with shipping. Was incredibly convenient to just wheel my cases from the the floor to the office and they took care of it from there. $15 per item handling charge, which is is well worth it.

Very nice convention center. Plenty of room for any event you could imagine. We've been here several times for basketball tournaments. One of which is the nation's largest girls basketball tournament. This place handled the capacity very well. They are handling the Covid-19 issue responsibly and effectively. The restrooms have always been clean and sanitary. Also, the carpets throughout are always swept. The management here has done a good job. The employees are to be commended as well. We've been to several different large convention centers and this one has been by far the nicest. Also, the Skywalk to and from the nearby hotels are a nice addition. There are dozens of hotel directly across the street from this convention center. Eateries are also within 1 block of this establishment. This is a great place to hold an event or even a multitude of events at once. I believe there are nearly a dozen "halls" here.

Very clean, well lit and thoroughly roped off to maintain social distances and direction of large crowd in the activities arena. I especially enjoyed the place as I am spectator to AAU Volleyball and we're currently 3-0! Go girls! The staff were excellent in clearing snow the night of our event. Great experience

This place is very big and elegant . Plenty of space to do all sorts of activities and Plenty of private Rooms to hold meetings . My favorite Room is the Sagamore ballroom, as it is state-of-the-art with its sound Dampening & reverberation ceiling They have lots of large beautiful plants throughout the building. It really looks like someone knew what they were doing taking care of them.( Photos,soon to be posted) It is nice to get a breath of fresh air with all the mask wearing going on. As masks are required while being inside the building. I would definitely recommend this place for any company wanting to have a quiet private elegant place to hold meetings to enhance their company

I set up conventions for a living. This center is not the largest BUT it is clean, accessible and centrally located. Most important, they are easy to work with. The entire staff doesn't act like they are being "bothered" by your requests.

Massive size. Takes up entire block. Very modern. Dozens of smaller breakout rooms and many large event spaces. Downsides are alot of walking to different sessions and you need a map of the facility because you can actually get lost.

The convention center was great considering covid is still happening I would like to see some better signs to show the different entrances more clear. I was there supporting someone in my family. There were other events being held and they seemed to have everything separated pretty good. Over all quick visit look forward to things being reopened so more events can be held.

I've only been here for Gen Con but it's been a very good space for this convention. The building is laid out well so that most rooms and halways are distinct from each other. I haven't gotten lost since my first visit. They have different sized rooms that are great for any purpose. Most of them are very soundproof so that you aren't interrupted by a loud group next door. The fact that there are walkways that connect it to several hotels, the football field, and the mall/parking garage is fantastic. It's always been clean. You do have to walk quite a ways for food options.

This convention center is SUPER HUGE. The signage here is readable and the exhibit halls and ballrooms are very big as well. I was here during NCYC and it was BUSY AS HECK with people walking everywhere and going to see sessions as well. Overall this place is probably the biggest convention center i've ever been to and it connects to the Lucas Oil Stadium, Circle Center Mall, and other hotels around it. Will definitely be back in the future.

The good: I was there for Gen Con, and the spaciousness of the rooms can't be complained out. Neither can the lighting, the air conditioning or the plentiful bathrooms. The bad: the layout is confusing, there aren't enough water fountains and - this is what got me - the pop machines are actually *more* expensive than they are at McCormick Place and the Stephens Center in Chicago. No real name-brand food vendors either, which is something McCormick has. I'll still be glad to come back for another Gen Con, regardless.

We were fortunate this year that our annual conference was at the Indianapolis Convention Center. It is easy to understand, get around and connected to all of the major hotels with skybridges. This convention center size is perfect - not too large like New York or New Orleans, so its easy to walk to your sessions and main exhibit hall.

Great experience. Large Volleyball Tournament and staff and facility were amazing. Parking was easy to get with the different lots around Center and also with the parking at Lucas Oil Stadium. One of the best convention centers I have experienced overall so far.

This place is amazing. Perfect for large meetings, conventions, events, and social gatherings. It is also the perfect way to shortcut through the south-west district of down town as it connects to most of the major hotels in the area, circle centre mall, and Lucas oil Stadium. It's extremely large, and it's public. Problem is, is that most people that I know don't even know what the Indiana convention center is. It's nice. Plus, there are countless skywalks, and it's indoor traveling so you can use it to get through extreme weather, excess heat/cold, wind, and precipitation. I personally think it could be expanded to connect more of downtown. Including Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Georgia Street, the city county building, the canal, even military park. I know it would be expensive, but that would be a really great idea. I have the right to be a dreamer. Nice building. keep it up, and never say "It's already good enough" Aim high!

The convention center is Stellar. Staff is extremely helpful and the layout is fairly easy to manage. Importantly the facilities are clean and remained clean throughout the entire conference in which I attended. The only disappointment from my perspective was the lackluster catering offered on site. Not enough to dock a star since catering for events is a particularly niche service. Those of us were Foodies would not be happy but this has no bearing on the actual Convention Center or the services they provide. Highly recommended!

It was everything a convention center should be. It was big, clean and no frills which is exactly what I expected. The place could have used a few more maps to navigate but it wasn't that hard. Parking was only $20 for overnight and had walkways to connect the garage to the center. Great place for the NCAA Fan Fest. I never felt crammed anywhere.

Well maintained facility and does such a good job of holding large groups. The food is reasonably priced as well. I enjoy that many nearby hotels are connected. Very smart. The signage is clear and even though it is big, it is quite easy to navigate.

An impressive and well organized convention centre. Connected to many hotels and pay of the downtown scene, this is a great place to visit. Be warned though, no map of the place has north pointing up. It's very confusing until you get this sorted.

5 stars for the facility. 2 stars docked for the ridiculous $4 bottles of water in the vending machines. Just ridiculous pricing. No excuse for it especially when all the other shops in the place are closed and it's 5°F outside. Price gauging.

It is easy to understand, get around and connected to all of the major hotels with skybridges. It is a nice clean place. They have great events there if you like what is coming to Indianapolis. The staff is great. The food is good. Every 2 years it is use for The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC). The exbiths at that time are great. It was also great when at one time the city of Indianapolis host the super bowl and it was a store where you could buy things. It is a great place to be at for fun filled events.

I have been to Gen Con, one of the largest conventions for Indiana each year, a few years in a row now. It is safe to say that despite all of the traffic and visitors, they somehow keep the place looking clean, that includes the bathrooms. That is a pretty big deal if you think of the quantity of people coming through in a short period of time.

Convenient location to hotels and restaurants. Facility is dated and is undergoing construction. Security was friendly and helpful and you are required to wear masks in common areas.

There's a reason Indy is consistently rated as the #1 Convention City in the United States and it's in no small part because of the Indiana Convention Center. Expanded again and again over decades and always kept current on modern renovations, it is a massive, multi-block venue that can handle multiple large conventions simultaneously. This is one of the cleanest facilities of any kind I have been to, the world over! The staff are fantastic and the hospitality is consistent with what should be expected of the Hoosier State, which is known for its hospitality. While it may be more expensive to book this facility than many others around the US, you are really getting back what you're willing to invest into your event, when it comes to booking the ICC from an ROI perspective. Highly, highly impressed. The unique set of Skywalks connecting hotels, restaurants, shopping, offices, etc. in most of the western areas of Downtown Indy to the Convention Center is one of the things that makes the ICC and Downtown Indy the place to have a convention of any size. You cannot beat the experience your convention attendees will have, during their time in this City and at the ICC.

Great location for trade shows and events, clean and tidy. The downside is the closest convenience store or gas station is about a mile away.

We set up here for PRI and everything is always very clean and well taken care of. Food is ok for what it is, could have a little more variety but is reasonably priced. Even when it is packed for a show, tthe bathrooms stay very clean. Which is a big deal if you're set up there all weekend! Easy access from several hotels through the Skywalk.

I had such a great time at the black expo this Saturday. The place is huge and not far from the circle center Mall, where we parked. There were many vendors, articles for sale, local as well as national companies that were offering free stuffs( seal breakers or letter openers, bags, pens, water bottles, pop corns,stickers, hand sanitizers, chapsticks, pictures, etc). The only negative comment I will make about the event is the food. It was expensive and very bad. After spending $20 on some fried fish, chicken, and Mac and cheese, two of my friends returned their food because it wasn't edible, no flavor at all. It was a rip off. Not sure why they charged so much for food. Is it because the event was free? We were very disappointed by our meals. I got some ribs with French fries and Mac and cheese. My Jaws were hurting after taking few bites. The ribs were undercooked, and I felt like I was chewing some rubber. I paid $23 for the food and a glass of lemonade. My drink was extremely sweet I had to dilute it with some water that I was carrying. 😒😒. Big waist of my money. If you can i suggest that you bring your own lunch.
