I went to see Hamilton. I searched for a ticket on Ticketmaster the day of & got it for only $37! The website charged around $18 service fee. Next time, I will try purchasing the ticket at the ticket window to see if there is a difference in price. I got Balcony, row R which I thought might be bad, but surprisingly all of the seats seemed great to me. No seats are angled too far off to the left or right where you don't get a good view. No obstructions blocking view. Security checked with wands and looked into backpacks & purses outside at the entrance. The one thing that almost confused me was, when I purchased the ticket on my phone, the website asked me to log into my email on a COMPUTER and confirm code, THEN i would be presented with the QR code to get into the event. There were plenty of staff to scan codes, so there was no long wait outside. Ushers were very helpful and kind. Alcohol & memorabilia could be purchased in the lobby. Very congested in those areas. Overall, the show was excellent & I will definitely return to see a different upcoming show.

Caught the circus at the arena portion. The circus was cool but the building is a little dated. There were limited concessions (the circus is small and only 2/3 of the arena was used for seating) but the food was good. Prices were, well, high though. The seats are of velour and a little old. Comfy but look like they were installed in 1994. Parking is convenient and located next door, both covered and open air. Cost was $8. I am adding a few pictures from the circus to give you an idea of the size as we sat in the general asmission area.

Went to this place for the local foodie convention. Was pretty disappointed with the variety of vendors. There were a few gems but for the most part, nothing really stood out. As far as the building itself, this is your run of the mill convention center. Pretty clean and basic. Parking is a bit steep so if you find meter parking a block away, you’ll save a few bucks.

You can easily get in and out of your seat without too much trouble. Hear everything with the sound system set up and the orchestra area is stuck nicely away and well heard.. Nice standing area and easily accessible..

Aloha, so everyone in Hawaii knows this is the go to llace for sports events , concerts ,symphony and comedy shows. The place is dated but still in great shape, the parking can be an issue depending how big the event is but they do have over flow at the high school next door usually.

Visited this place for the great american circus. An was such a nice place with big space for the visitors and so easy to access. Recommend to buy tickets in advance definitely it made it easier to enter the event.

Went here for the Hawai'i Collectors Convention. So many people selling all sorts of things. Random knick knacks, funko pops, collectible toys, TV and movie memorabilia, kpop albums, posters, buyers and sellers of old money, old stamps, jewelry, watches, bags, clothing, electronics, and people selling resin keychains they made by hand.

Went to the Journey Concert and it was wonderful. The band said it was a record for attendance. It was packed and everyone was in to the experience.

The event was amazing and one to remember. Although, they gotta create an alternate entrance to the parking garage. Traffic was backed up for a couple of hours. Had to find parking away from the actual center. Overall, I had a great time and experience.

Staff at the box office amazing! Helpful with seating, friendly and quickly moved the line. I had an issue with my digital tickets after i went home for Hamilton that next day. I called and left a messege and was quickly called back, and it was an email mistake. She fixed it and resent it! No problem! I was happy for a real LIVE person who handled the box office and my phone call for assistance. Mahalo!

We enjoyed a night with the Hawaiian Symphony playing the score to Star Wars, A New Hope. Stage is a great view from any seat. One of my best nights while visiting my daughter!

Beautiful grounds with multiple pools of indigenous fish that are breathtaking. Inside the venue is beautiful and modern.

Look up online what they have to offer. Always good events going on. Most of them free. Older building but gets the job done. Parking is $6 and located on King Street. Fish for the children and grassy area to the side for a quick lunch or break outside. I suggest if you are in town to Uber it because it is very busy when events and shows are going on.

Saw Nutcracker. Show was great. Very colorful. Beautiful costumes. Glad they added more parking but I don't like that they charge $6. The facilities/buildings are showing their age. The place definitely needs renovations and maintenance. They should rebuild and add better structures that utilizes the location better.

Went here for a bellator MMA fight. The stadium is nice, a little small but plenty of room for the event. However with suck a small stadium they had a lot of equipment and quite a bit of it was in the way and affected the show.

The Arena was awesome. The setup for Jo Ko was 360 and the show was one of a kind. We had extra tickets as some people couldn't attend last minute. The venue was phenomenal in that the right people were at the show. There was this lady who's laugh was the best in JK minds eye and local folks who could relate to his stories. Then there was the yellow jacket who's future is so bright he had to wear shades. When black light is turned on, the yellow really shows. This was a show full of adlib jokes and also his tried and true material. Sorry Nanay's out there but we were talking about chu and how you point with your lips. Beautiful venue, in downtown Honolulu that host's a lot of events and tradeshows. I would definitely suggest checking out the koi pond if you have kids. It is beautiful and it is free of charge! If you have an event you'd like to attend, I would definitely go

Hawaiian crafts bazaar, I'm glad I went. Lots of local merchandise with friendly vendors. This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. $5.00 cash only to get into the bazaar and $8.00 to park well worth it.

Great venue for the symphony. No pit, so the orchestra is on stage. Usually the choir is placed behind them if used, so they are sometimes drowned out during certain scores. Not really a bad seat in the theater since it is so small. Overall, not a bad show for the money. All the seats are odd or even numbered rows, so don't worry if your tickets are 23,25,27, you're all sitting together.

The “Gohan” Gohan

I just saw the phantom of the opera here and I loved it! There were lots of concessions stands with a lot of choices. All the ushers and staff were very helpful and friendly especially during intermission. They directed everyone where to go and kept everyone civil and there was a sense of order in what was a sea of people. Overall it was a great experience with a great sound system to compliment a exceptional cast, crew, and orchestra. There was no better way to experience one of my favorite musicals of all time produced by the legendary Cameron mackintosh.

I've come here so many times both to the arena and to the concert hall and I love this place. The drinks are obviously a little pricey but that's to be expected. They do have a smoking area, which is usually the far left side. If there is a huge event not only is parking bad but the traffic around the place is so congested. If you park near the hospital, the parking people had directed me there on a few occasions, they charge you twice as much.

The rows are wide, allowing for people to pass easily. There was no direction to the valet parking but after circling twice, we found it. Security was a bit of an over kill and the line to get in went to the street and down the block, taking about 20 minutes. After the show, the line for valet parking was very long (but the valet service was great). So, roomy seating but poor parking and security.

Parking was alright, the lady was nice. The people at ticket booth were also very nice. The event seemed somewhat disorganized though and the alcohol stand only opened half an hour before the event which really isn't enough time imo.

This is a large complex with lots of things going on. The parking is lacking. I was able to park on the street it's a very long walk to get into the place from available parking.

Love this stadium. You have a great view from any seat in the place. We went for the state wrestling tournament, and even with six mats running, we didn't miss anything. They only had one food vendor running during this event, but they cranked out really good burgers, chicken strips, and french fries ALL day. The quality didn't go down as the day wore on. Bathrooms were always clean and stocked. It did get COLD though - the AC is strong!

Stopped by to pick up our Great Aloha Run packets, parking is pretty chill. Although it's not very handicap friendly in my opinion. Yes, they do have a ramp and elevators but they're located in the middle of the parking structure - it's pretty far in my opinion. The venue itself definitely could use a face lift, I've been coming to this landmark for quite some time and I feel they could definitely at least have a nice fresh paint job! The overall experience was positive and I don't have any real complaints based off of this particular experience.

The place has seen some years. Staff are helpful enough. Parking could be better especially for large shows. Many people get a Lyft when leaving the packed arena shows to avoid the traffic when leaving the parking structure. For the most part, they keep the lines going pretty efficiently even with bag checks.

Havent been here for an event in years. Its definitely serviceable, and I enjoyed myself last night at "the phantom of the opera", but this building is definitely showing its age. When the line for the men's bathroom is longer than one for a women's on ladies night, there is a serious logistical problem! The location is definitely nice, and the staff was very good, so not really too much to complain about.

They keep everything nice & clean. There is a parking structure, but it always fills up quickly. Upper levels of parking are really small. My car barely fits, leaves hardly any room to get out of car.

Who doesn't love the Pops Orchestra in the Voncwet Hall? Always comfortable, every seat is a good one (even in the balcony!) Ushers are friendly and helpful! Love attending events here, and sometimes we get dressed up to attend. Really a lovely venue!

Great place for Expos & Senior Fairs. Centrally located. Bus Stop is right in front from the Ewa direction. Lots of parking, but can't wait for the new renovations with even more parking stalls. There's street parking and McKinley High School is just next door...for more parking. There's restaurants near the area too.

Parking is no longer free for electric vehicles, but the event parking fee was $8. Parking again filled rather quickly.

There are always fun events happening here. From concerts to expos. I'm always stopping by the box office to see what's coming up. While there is quite a bit of payed parking, during major events you still want to come early because it will fill up fast.

The food from concession is good, though a bit overpriced. Even the furthest seats have a good view of the concert, and the sound is great. Came here to see The Cure a few years ago and was really pleased with my experience. People are discouraged from standing up in the aisles, which I appreciate as someone who can't stand up during a concert and frequently has my view blocked by people who insist on dancing in the seats.

Tosca; one of most famous Operas, with such great vocalists & actors in lead roles, that made the story come alive; so much more believable & romantic! Costumes & accessories enhanced each personality! Set designs were fantastic & artistically realistic with such great 3D perspective! Totally awesome!

I'd prefer the Stan Sheriff Center. Wish they had concerts there but great events at the NBC. Self Parking not very pleasant when you don't come at least 2 to 3 hours ahead of time. Haven't had valet.

The venue is good for large concerts but the parking is poor. The parking garage doesn't have capacity and street parking is difficult. Walked 5 blocks and just made it. Many concert goers missed a large amount of the fun!

It's kind of an old facility with old worn-out carpets but the seating arrangements are fine. Parking for the Diana Ross concert was a total mess taking almost an hour to park. Many people had to park at McKinley High School parking lot. Unfortunately, this venue is pretty much the only choice for larger concerts near Honolulu.

Concert Hall is not really accessible, but they do their best. No elevator, so sit in orchestra level. Inside the lobby are stairs to all restrooms. Only way is to wheel down through the steep concert hall end aisles. Love going to performances here, but wish it were easier.

My encounter with the site was for covid testing. The covid test site staff members were very helpful. There was great guidance as to what the proceedings were. Adequate signage was posted to inform the public of where to go snd what to do. Thank you.

Great place to go to the concert, craft fair, or any public events. They have lots of parking and sometimes they charge for parking depends on events. Wear comfortable shoes because the place is huge to walk all over the place.

This venue needs a major facelift - the parking structure, the concert hall especially, and even the arena. One of the few places the island has to hold large events and it is very dated, the bathrooms are too small for such large crowds, the air conditioning can't keep up with the amount of body heat in any building, and events cause so much traffic because there isn't enough parking

New Product Shows are always fun but they should have multiple entrances & workers helping people, especially the elderly. Some elderly were waiting in the line to enter, they thought it was the ticket purchase line. There should be a handicap line, a lot of them couldn't stand & wait in the long line.

Seating is great even in the nosebleeds. You wont need to watch the monitors. Caution: only food here are hot dogs and chicken tenders so if you dont want to eat like a 6yo eat beforehand. Drinks can be $12, very expensive. There is valet parking ($25) and public parking but can only be accessed in one direction of traffic.

The location/arena itself is nice and clean for the most part. Parking is the issue. There is only one way to get into the venue and the Traffic cuts in the counter direction. Fairly inconvenient especially when there are entrances in the back, however remains closed. NO Credit card; Cash only event is a bit slow in the times. The Venue "forces" its Patrons to use an ATM for a "low" fee is a tad ridiculous.

"Neal Blaisdell Center Good" The history of this place supersedes the caliber of any performing talent. Great Local Farmers Market Every Wednesday. Really Family friendly fun and lots of good food. Generally clean venue. Workers look like they preserve the facility well. "Neal Blaisdell Center Bad" Parking is extremely expensive. Arrive early because you will wait in long traffic lines. Arena is really small but the history is really significant.

If bringing the correct cash to pay for parking the quicker for parking. The place has great safe parking and sometimes for large events the McKinley High School is used. The gate is open near the batting cage. For handicap accessibility there is the sidewalk in front and in the rear of the Blaisdell Center. ***Always check online for parking*** so arrive on time. I found there is always a long steady moving parking line. I always arrive 40 mins before to avoid all the traffic.

Stopped by the Blaisdell to go to a recent craft fair. Parking was abundant which was a nice surprise since I arrived there at mid-day. One suggestion for events at the exhibition hall. Make the entrance to the event at the Ward St. Side of the building because it's in a natural flow from the box office. As it was, you have to pass the entrance facing the arena, walk all the way down to the end of the corridor to the box office and backtrack to the entrance. That's my one quip.

I came to this area for a farmer market. Although it was small, I loved how many people showed up in support and there were many vendors. There was one fresh fruit vendor I remember going to and something that caught my eye was that they were selling rambutan, longan, sour sop and so much more. I feel terrible that I can't remember the stall's name but I do remember it was towards the left side of the event so if you find this stall give 'em some love! They also were selling freshly squeezed sugar cane juice and it was delightful.

The Neal S. Blaisdell Center has been the venue for the Made in Hawaii Festival, over Admission weekend, since it started on 1995. It is within walking distance from my home so I don't contribute to the heavy traffic or parking shortage. The arena and Exhibition Hall accommodated over 475 booths this year. The first day crowd is always the biggest of the weekend. It takes everyone's patience and cooperation to get from one place to another. The Center has a system for providing food for hungry shoppers through their concessions. My friend found a cool place to rest our tired feet in the open area where tables and chairs were available.

Only one mens restroom on the outside of venue, with only one toilet. Got to venue early. Show started at 8pm. They opened the doors at 7:30. So, no place to eat prior to getting in. I mean, not even a freaking water stand to purchase drinks to quench your thirst. After two hours waiting, the band didn't come on until 11/2 hrs later. After gates were open, listening two a horrible DJ trying to mash up a rock and roll set that he had no idea of what genre era specific he was playing for. However, despite all negatives, DEF LEPPARD was awesome. They rocked Hawaii!

The only reason it gets this many stars is because they brought in Shen Yun dance musical performances. Other than that the physical property and buildings are extremely dated and unkept. Poorly designed for getting around and just wrong for a nice smooth evening. Not enough signage to help you find anything especially what building your looking for where the performance is taking place or the restrooms. Seating was uncomfortable with seat no leg room or elbow room. Like flying with Hawaiian Airlines.

Adequate symphony hall and arena, but a significant facelift and updating should be planned, fund started for the entire facility including the parking structure. Perhaps a luxury development could be planned that would help fund the renovation facing Thomas Square or Kapiolani Blvd, and reserve the first 5-10 parking levels along one side of the development reserved for NBC parking. There should be more art from the state collection/fund. The location is excellent and well connected to the bus lines on King and Beretania.

Review is for the Farmer's Market. It's actually more a pop up food court than anything else. There are two or three produce stands but the majority of the stalls are serving fresh delicious food. I had Pho Banh Mi French Dip (Phrench Dip?) from The Pig and The Lady stand. It was incredible. Other family members had Mediterranean, Thai and crepes. Everyone left happy and full.

I have sciatica and had to walk a long way from the parking lot to the convention center because of it. The convention center itself is okay. The first concert I saw at the Blaisdell was Bon Jovi, in 1987. This week I saw Ringo Starr. I've seen a few other shows in between over the years. The Blaisdell is a pretty good place to see a concert. A little more intimate than most of the arenas and stadiums in the mainland. At Ringo we never needed to stand in line at the concession (although we arrived just after the show started, so most were already in their seats). Still, I prefer the Waikiki Shell as a concert venue.

Neal blaisdell center what an interesting place to go see a concert or a basketball game or what have you. My favorite part about it is they have a fishing lagoon going around the outside of the auditorium. That's right you heard me a fishing lagoon with ahi, mahi-mahi, barracuda, and an occasional shark, and the best part about it is you are allowed to fish thereand keep whatever fish you catch. Yes me and my friends go fishing there all the time. So if you're bored nothing to do grab a fishing pole for 13 bucks at Walmart walk over to the blaisdell center angle fishing. It's perfectly legal and it's fun .

Thanksgiving was great there, got my face on film with Trisha, hell gas station up kalihi valley on a monitor. Great to be with so many of my homeless & none homeless friends, I'll be there in November again thank s year! Come down a check it out!
