Nice open small event area with exposed wood rafters. Building has quality materials used in a fairly new remodel. Parking lot is okay for its size, but nearby streets are difficult to find spots, at least during the day.

I attended this venue to see Starset/Palisades. First time at this new venue, had a blast! It's different as far as set up goes being it's an old big church that was renovated and turned into an event center. We found a good spot and could see the whole concert perfectly and close which made the experience better for it being a smaller venue Vs a larger one. Only downside is that it got hot in there very fast... And it's winter. So, if I'd attend this venue in the summer I hope they have an amazing air conditioning system otherwise it would be really miserable! Luckily the fix in the winter is to open a couple doors and it cooled down 😊

great venue!! they allow crowd surfing so if you dont like that this really isnt the place for you. the venue is very small so easy to see in the back. beautiful venue.

Small venue, but very well staffed, and the show was great! The crowd was wild,(wage war concert) but as expected with that type of concert. I would definitely go to another show at that venue! Free parking ramp on weekends very close by. Overall a nice venue and a good show. Great first time experience!

Saw a comedian here and it was great! I honestly had my doubts but the acoustics were fantastic. We sat on the main floor so I can't speak to what the balcony folk endured. A beautifully kept up, clean and very cool place. The staff was friendly. I recommend attending shows here.

Most unique events center in North Dakota! Converted from the former St. Marks Lutheran Church, SEC features beautiful exposed beams, state of the art lighting and AV equipment, and is catering ready. This is a one-stop-shop for weddings and is an excellent concert venue.

Sanctuary Event center is always a great place to visit for events. They have clean parking and events like New FM visiting events , New American Citizenship events and concerts. There accommodations , customer service and cleanliness is remarkable and impressive everytime. Plus I love the interior hall with all the beams and lighting 🥳👏🎆

When we first pulled up I said, "I didn't expect him to be in quite so small a room." While I was taking video from the balcony I felt like the venue was a slice out of an Arena. It is a perfect size, the kind that I'm sure would be a little cold if not packed with bodies. Plus the old church is straight up gorgeous. One of the most unique venues I've ever been to; I hope one day I can book it for myself.

I cannot express enough how absolutely fantastic this venue is! Kayla is organized, very knowledgeable and walks you through every step of the process. Matt, the manager, was so accommodating the moment we walked through the doors. The staff is kind, respectful, and professional to everyone. The venue itself is gorgeous. Unfortunately, one of our groomsmen, Daniel Burgess, left a poor review. That in no way reflects the view of either side of the family, the bride or groom or bridal party. The security guard was very polite, helped us carry things out and assisted with any questions we had. Don't confuse "being rude" with simply doing his job, enforcing the rules, that are clearly posted and we were told about. We, as the family, would like to extend our most sincere apology for his poor attitude and review and please know he stands alone in his thoughts! We pay the final bill, we have worked with you from day 1 and I would pay double to have the experience we had. You cannot go wrong with this place. 10 stars!!!!

I liked the place overall very friendly staff but no chairs to sit while waiting makes long night just standing also it is a small venue so everywhere is a good spot to see they pack the place so it makes it uncomfortable just to stand in place kept bumping into people next to us. When people were jumping around the floor was wobbling made me wonder how stable it was for all the weight?

An amazing and intimate venue. Great architecture adds a unique feel and story. Seeing an artist at sanctuary can't be beat. Lines move fast and security has excellent control of the events. Clean environment that can be enjoyed by everyone.

I got the opportunity to Feel The Steel here and experience Steel Panther. This place is a cozy little where you and 350 of your closest friends can rock your faces off! You can definitely tell that this was an old church as it still has a holier than thou vibe happening. We felt she Steel from the balcony and had a great view of the stage. The bar was well stocked with Coors Banquet Beers. I am grateful the The Snowman and The Bandit made thir famous beer run. The acoustics need a little work and could use some sound dampening. The Take 2 Video Kid did a great job at the sound board for this show given what he had to work with. I would definitely return to this venue to drink Coors Banquet Beers and watch a metal show in the future.

This is a great little venue! We were here for Below Zero Wrestling and could tell that even for a concert or staged event there wouldn't be a bad seat in the house. Also beautiful for a wedding or family reunion.

I've been to a few shows here now and absolutely love the place! The sound here is great considering it was an old church. There's a cool balcony for 21 plus where you can have a few drinks. The main floor is nice as well it's not a large venue but it has a great deal with it making it more intement setting for getting up close to the music you love!

This is a really cool place and operates like a well-oiled machine. We went there for a wedding and reception. Having everything in one place was perfect. The wedding was in the sanctuary then after the ceremony we went downstairs for cocktails and dinner. After dinner we went back upstairs for the dance. While we were eating, the sanctuary was being transformed into a nightclub atmosphere. The building itself is very modern on the inside and secure. Someone put a love of love and money into transforming this old building! The bathrooms are plentiful, large, and clean. The staff was friendly and courteous and kept watch over the doors and parking lot. We were visiting from out of state and I wish we had something comparable in my hometown. Oh, and the food! Dinner was delicious and the chocolate buttercream icing was divine!

Beautiful venue! This place was great for a comedy show, but would be amazing for a wedding or any other family, work gathering! The staff were very friendly and they had ample security. The drink prices are a bit steep, but not outrageous for any other place near downtown Fargo.

This was honestly one of the best venues I have ever been to for a concert. The staff was OVERLY nice. The security was AMAZING. I have never seen people act in such a professional, caring, and down to earth matter at a venue. I would LOVE to go to another concert here. We came from Minneapolis to see Machine Gun Kelly and it was an unforgettable two nights. Hopefully he will be back there someday soon! Thank you guys! Such a great staff and place. HIGHLY recommended.

Its crazy how the venue is used for weddings, but it is the most beautiful place to go for heavy metal concerts!!! For once I actually felt comfortable during a concert. There was room to move around even though its a rather intimate setting. I am happy there are some good bands that come to Fargo...I hope to come back soon!

Amazing venue who would have thought an old church would fill a concert so well. The balcony is great the band even ran up there and sang. The wood work was gorgeous! I'm glad I took a cab though not to much for parking!

Our wedding day could not have gone more smoothly all thanks to Sanctuary Events Center and their lovely staff! Kayla was amazing and helped me plan every step of the way- in fact, she went above and beyond on every occasion. She truly is a miracle worker and wants what is best for her clients! Kent at Chef's Table Catering was also a dream to work with and was always available to answer questions. Our guests LOVED the food and had nothing but great things to say! Jack the sound technician was also such an awesome help to us! He gave my cousin a mic and allowed him to sing during our wedding dance, and he even DJ'ed for us when our playlist ended earlier than expected! We appreciated him so much! Even Frank the security guard was amazingly helpful. Overall, this place is so stunning and the staff know exactly how to help you make your event the best it can be. If I could do it all over again, I would choose Sanctuary every time!

Having my wedding at The Sanctuary was a highlight of my day, and more importantly my guests. It was home of many memories created with loved ones on our special day. Everything is in one location, which was so helpful for the majority of our guests whom we’re out of town- best part is their complementary shuttle services for guests who stay at the Clubhouse Hotel & Suites. The entire building is very handicap accessible. ALL of the staff is a blast and so easy to work with. The Sanctuary has anything and everything you could possibly need for you big day and if there’s anything missing, Kayla will make sure you have it!

This is a beautiful facility that is perfect for both social and corporate events. The upstairs space - the actual sanctuary - is beautiful, spacious, great lighting, great acoustics - an extremely unique space to host just about any type of event. The lower level space is also fantastic with tons of natural light, TVs all around in case you need to see what's happening upstairs, etc. You can't go wrong booking this facility for your next event!

The venue is fabulous. Enjoyed the evening for a wedding. But the food really lowered my rating. I was served pork tenderloin that was maybe the driest meat I have ever had and the potato/vegetable medley tasted like it had been cooked earlier in the week and reheated.

Went here for a local event, overall the space is a former church and it shows, you can get kinda lost in the building itself. The only minor complain is the lack of bathrooms and the somewhat maze like design of the place being renovated but it's a really nice building and the renovations overall make it an excellent space to host anything it seems.

The food was decent and the building was very interesting. But the drinks were WAY too expensive and it was too cold to be comfortable during the event. They definitely need to turn the heat up, even with a lot of people there, the vaulted ceilings lose a ton of heat. Several people had to put their jackets over their shoulders.

This is the nicest, coolest venue in the entire fargo moorhead area. The wood finishing and the natural scents they bring with them make this place one of a kind. The lighting and the craftsmanship are second to noon. Truly a gem in our downtown scene.
