The Wellshire was the best venue I could have hoped for for my wedding. It's an absolutely stunning, rustic, building on a beautiful golf course, and the owner really tries to take care of his clients. Most of the staff is absolutely fantastic, and I love that the venue is all-inclusive-- the things I had to provide is my own decor, a photographer, a videographer, a DJ, and the officiant. All the day-of staff, coordination, and food came from The Wellshire. From the guest's perspective, everything went absolutely perfectly. From the bride's perspective, there were definitely things (coordination related) that needed work, but I had a great time anyway. Best day ever!

Wellshire Event Center was the venue our daughter and son-in-law chose for their wedding and reception. We worked with Sara and she did a fantastic job of communicating with us. This venue has unique and interesting features and nooks. The photos turned out fabulous and food was very good!

The day of Kacey and her team handled everything perfectly, it could not have been a more magical day. They went above and beyond and we are incredibly thankful that we chose the Wellshire Inn as our wedding venue. Highly recommend!

We had a wedding at the Wellshire in June of 2021. The venue was beautiful and since we had to delay a couple of times due to Covid, they were very accommodating. Set up of decor was gorgeous, food was good and service from staff on the day of was okay - nothing outstanding but fine. Only a couple of real cons. The wedding coordinator, Kacey’s response time was extremely slow. Wedding planning is stressful enough so when you’re waiting on her response or having to email a couple of time because she still hasn’t responded, it makes everything that much more stressful. The second thing was a BIG error on their part. The day of the wedding, they mixed up 2 tables and put my in-laws in a back corner table and random distant out of state relatives up front and center. I was horrified when I sat down at the head table for dinner and saw the mixup. Needless to say my husband’s family weren’t happy either.

The Wellshire Event space is truly an amazing experience for any couple getting married. From the start, Chris was professional and kind. He helped us pick packages and delivered a quote the same afternoon for several dates and party sizes. The event coordinators they have on staff are outstanding. We had the pleasure of working with Sarah who answered my (many) emails with questions throughout our entire process. The actual event was well orchestrated and organized. We barely had to do anything except show up and have an amazing day. We will always remember the Wellshire for the part they played in our big day

We had our wedding held at the Wellshire this past summer and can confidently say it was the perfect fit for us. The staff were incredible and they helped streamline the planning process for our special day. Our guests loved the environment and could not stop raving about how delicious the food was. Finding a venue for your wedding that feels right is a difficult task. We wanted to have our wedding in the Denver area and the Wellshire Event Center was our first venue we visited. No other venue we visited felt quite right compared to the Wellshire. There is something special about the Wellshire that I would encourage everyone to experience.

The Wellshire is hands down a spectacular venue choice! When we were looking for a venue for our wedding, we knew we wanted something unique and full of character. From the moment we stepped foot into the front door, we both knew this was it! The historic value of the venue really shines when its full of the people you care the most about. It truly was gorgeous. Sarah Ringler, the venue coordinator, is a literal angel. She was amazing to us and was right by our side leading up to the wedding and the day itself. We could not have had our wedding day without her! The entire Wellshire Staff is so thoughtful, caring and flexible! Our guests were blown away by the venue, the service and the food! We are so happy to have worked with The Wellshire for our wedding & would recommend it to any couple who is looking for a timeless & romantic venue full of character!

We had our 50th High School Reunion here, and the Wellshire did a wonderful job hosting for us. It is a beautiful, old building so close to Denver. I can certainly picture a beautiful wedding party here. The food was a wonderful buffet with all of our menu choices cooked to perfection! Everyone enjoyed themselves. I would recommend the Wellshire Event Center to all.

The Wellshire is a beautiful location to host any function - and was perfect for our wedding! We had already looked at a few other locations and were dismayed at the set-up/clean-up restrictions, the food/catering restrictions, and the overall cost of what places were wanting to charge and what they were willing to provide. Wellshire did require that they cater the event, but Chris won us over when he told us that we could invite multiple rugby teams and we wouldn't run out of the hor d'oeuvres or desserts! Kacey was our onsite coordinator and SUPER nice. The food was fantastic - and I have to mention Olga because she was my superhero that day! She made sure to bring my husband and me each tray of the different hor d'oeuvres to ensure that we were eating throughout the reception! Since we had it on a Sunday, we had the venue to ourselves. They let us drop off the decorations the day before and pick everything up the day after - HUGE benefit! We had plenty of room to get ready in the separate bride and groom suites; have the ceremony in the Windsor Room; cocktail hour in the Onyx Lounge; the photo booth, games, and creative corner in the Cambridge Room; and the reception in the Rocky Mountain Pavilion. Plus, we had a beautiful patio and view to enjoy the evening air! I had tons of feedback from our guests about how great the venue was - so I would definitely recommend 100%!!!

We could not have asked for a better wedding venue than the Wellshire. We loved that they provided so many services so we didn't have to look for other vendors for catering, bar, rentals, event coordinator, etc. Considering how many venue spaces charge you thousands of dollars for the space alone, the Wellshire saved us an incredible amount of money and stress. Kacey was wonderful to work with as our event coordinator. She was very responsive and had answers to even my most nitty gritty questions. On top of all that, the venue itself is beautiful from the bridal suite, to the ceremony and reception sites, to the grounds. I could not recommend the Wellshire highly enough!

We fell in Love with the charming, old building (beautiful stained glass windows, wooden beams & floors, fireplaces, exposed brick, mountain views across the golf course) but we were sold by the convenience of having almost everything included (catering & bar with staff, chairs, plates, linens, signs, set up, clean up). Owner Chris tried to talk us OUT of all the additional expenses, like an open bar or unnecessary decorations, and he gave credit for the excellent reviews to his *salaried* staff. Kacey & Sarah were both helpful, organized, and friendly venue contacts. Our guests keep telling us how impressed they were with the food and service!

The Wellshire is a gorgeous, conveniently located venue here in Denver, and we would highly recommend having your wedding there! The space is lovely- it has lots of historic charm, but it has also been very well updated and maintained. We looked at 8 different venues in the Denver area before booking, and this one was by far our favorite. We met with Chris, the owner, and he did a great job explaining everything, answering all of our questions, and talking up the food. Throughout the wedding planning process (including postponing a year due to COVID uncertainties), Kacey was a huge help. As our day-of coordinator, she made sure the planning and our day ran very smoothly. The Wellshire’s recommended vendor list was also a huge help. You can use whoever you would like for your vendors, but we chose all of our’s from their list (although we did research a lot of other vendors too), and we were so pleased with every single one! The food did not disappoint either- we loved it, and it got lots of compliments from our guests. The Wellshire was the only venue that we looked at that makes their food on-site, and it really showed! We could not have asked for a better venue or wedding!

Attended a wedding event for niece. Accomodations were wonderful for wedding. Chapel for wedding was well lite with natural light. Plenty of room for over 50 guest. Moved on to reception area while pictures were being taken. Drinks and appetizers were served while waiting. After pictures were completed we moved on to dining area of steak, chicken and fish as pre arranged. Several different types of deserts were offered in place of cake. Each were excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful venue for a wedding.

My daughter got married at the Wellshire a few weeks ago. The entire event (from the pre-wedding planning to the event itself) was a very positive experience. Kacey was the wedding planner, and she did a fabulous job! She dealt with the details all along the way, and she was always professional and pleasant to work with. Kacey did a great job answering all our questions, and addressing any concerns that my daughter and her fiance had along the way. We had a sit-down dinner, and the food was delicious. The servings were generous, and the employees were very helpful in accommodating our guests who had special dietary concerns. We held both the ceremony and the reception there, and everything went very smooth. For weddings, they have a nice bridal suite which was very spacious. As we had looked at other venues, I would highly recommend this venue for not only weddings, but any special event.

The Wellshire was the absolute best in every way, My Husband and I were blown away with the the look of the place. Each room has its unique look and style to create the look and feel of any event. We choose the Mountain View Pavilion to have our wedding reception and the Tudor room for the ceremony. Guests could not stop gushing about how beautiful the the place was and its unique charm and modern flare it has with many room options. We were told by many people and vendors that the Wellshire is a great place and has such a strong reputation of quality and service. We loved the staff and everyone was so friendly and helpful every single time we had an encounter with them. The Bridal suites is gorgeous and very big, the grooms room was cozy and charming. Kendra was our wedding coordinator and I can not begin to say enough great thing about her. Kendra was with us from the moment we signed on the dotted line to the moment we said I do, she was so helpful with absolutely everything and was very easy to get a hold of and we always felt we were her top priority. The food was amazing and so fresh and the potions are a very good size. There was no shortage of food for our guests and everyone raved about the appetizers and dinner entree. The Wellshire did everything to make our day special and beautiful and my husband and I would highly recommend the Wellshire for quality, service and value for your wedding.

Nice place but very confusing. Came for a wedding and the staff rudely told paying wedding throwers to lower music and speakers to almost a whisper to not disturb golfers who were outside. They also didn’t allow the couple to bring outside catering but still didn’t do their best to make sure the food was even slightly pleasant. Wedding planners need to reconsider if they want any sort of native wedding.

I just had my wedding at the Wellshire on July 3rd, 2012, and I cannot begin to explain how wonderful of an experience it was. For starters, I never write reviews, so it speaks volumes of this venue that I was compelled to do this. Aside from an absolutely beautiful place, the staff at Wellshire is phenomenal. We were all treated like royalty there, and that is something I definitely appreciated on my wedding day. Todd, Kristen and Darren were all a part of making my day happen, and I am so thankful for them! Every single detail was thought of...meaning my mom and maid of honor/wedding coordinator could actually enjoy the day. I love that you can get a vintage feel in part of the venue, and the pavilion can offer a modern look if that's what you're going for. An extremely versatile place that I would definitely recommend! Although it can be a bit expensive using them for the food, I realized how important it was for me to have everything else the venue offered while allowing all of us to enjoy the day. They are constantly making improvements too, so make sure to go visit if you need a venue for any event!

Our small aerospace engineering company has used the Wellshire Event Center for three company holiday parties, and have no plans to change! The room we held the event in is the perfect size for our small company's employees and families (about 75 attendees) as well as a smaller room connecting to the back for the children. Our event coordinator, Kristen, is extremely easy to work with and makes planning a breeze. For the two parties I have attended, Darren was our on-site contact and was a pleasure to work with. The waitstaff has always been courteous and helpful during the event. Before the meal we do an open bar which has a good selection of popular beers and wine. We do a buffet-style dinner and have done a variety of Italian food in the past, but we tried a new menu this year and got great feedback - it had chicken, salmon, steak, veggies, and salad. There's always plenty of food and leftovers are sent home so nothing goes to waste! The staff adheres to our provided schedule and has the food set out and ready to go on time. In the past there have been coloring books supplied for the children which were a hit - we also bring in a Santa and the staff helps him keep in character by pulling him off to the side until one of the hosts can greet him before bringing him into the childrens room. The parents have told us they like being able to have their kids nearby in the connecting room, yet not interrupting during the presentation. Once the guests have left, we've always had great chats with the staff and the bartender, and they made it easy for us to take care of our bill. We have gotten positive feedback from a lot of our employees after each event. We definitely plan on using the Wellshire again next year (already penciled in our date!) and I would recommend it to any small company looking for a place to host their event!

Great place for a wedding! The venue is beautiful and the staff is very accommodating. They were so helpful I did not have to worry about anything. Te Wellshire is so hands on that I didn't even need to hire a wedding coordinator. I would never pick anywhere else to have my wedding. It was a dream come true! Our company creates and hosts over 400 “Casino Theme Party” events a year, and the Wellshire Event Center, and Golf Course is one of our favorite event venues. And we love the restaurant and bar! The Wellshire Event Center, and staff are professional, courteous, responsible, and extremely talented at working with our clients and guests at their venue. The Wellshire Event Center venue is always clean, well maintained, and a beautiful venue for your next corporate, personal, or wedding event. I played a round of golf at Wellshire and had a good experience overall. The greens were not in the best condition. Even though it’s early season, it seemed that the grass had been affected by disease over the winter. I would like to come back in a few months to see if it improves.

This venue was BEAUTIFUL. We photographed a wedding there. It’s a little dark for photography but with the proper lights it’s fine. Other than that, it was a beautiful space with very accommodating staff and planners.

My wife and I chose the Wellshire for our reception. Specifically, we rented the "tent". First, the good: The architecture and historical nature of the building itself is amazing. You really feel like you are stepping back in time when you walk through the big wooden doors into the main entrance. The building is decorated very tastefully and the staff who worked our reception night did a good job. Just prior to our wedding day, the lighting in the tent was upgraded to very classy chandeliers which made a big difference. The food was very good and our guests made sure to tell us as well. The set up of the tables, dessert stand, memory table and gift table was done exactly how we asked. It looked amazing. The views out of the veranda were amazing with the changing leaves and the snow-capped Rockies in the background. The bad: We were told at the last minute there was another event going on in the grass area just outside the tent which was a big issue since the tent is basically all glass windows. We didn't want strangers looking in on our wedding as you can imagine. It was perplexing because we were originally told by our day-of event planner that we could bring cornhole and other games to play in the same grass area so it caused some undue stress. Upon doing our final walk through, my wife asked to not only walk through the tent area but to walk through the whole building and what we discovered was also not communicated to us and we felt was not ever going to be communicated to us. The bathrooms that our guests were going to use were all of a sudden out of order. Our event planner explained that they were not in control of the building's maintenance since it is a city owned property. Further, there were very unsightly "Out of Order" signs dangling on the bathroom doors. When we left that day, we both felt that had we not asked to walk through the whole building, this would've been something we would've discovered the day of the wedding. The building needs better security. Our event planner mentioned that the Playstation had been stolen out of the groom's suite multiple times and during our final walk through we were told that the busted locks on the doors would be fixed by the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding, there were in fact locks on the doors. However, at the end of the night, the Wellshire staff let our limo driver into the groom's room without ever alerting the Groom or any of the groomsmen. As a result, the limo driver grabbed the wrong bag, put it in the limo, and went to hand it to us when we got the hotel and that's when he realized he grabbed the wrong bag. This caused a lot of stress for the groomsman whose bag it belonged to as he thought his stuff was stolen and had some choice words for the staff over the debacle. Another instance of a lack of communication. Additionally, we just didn't feel there was a high enough attention to detail for the money we were spending there. For instance, my wife's seating tag had her maiden name not her newly married last name. Really? On her wedding day? Also, against the grain of the classy set up of the tent was the bar. It had a giant blue, white and red Pepsi light over the fridge. Not what you'd expect in an otherwise very dimly lit, romantic set up. It was an eye sore to say the least. And there was even a box of Windex and paper towels just sitting out on the floor that made it into some of our pictures. Overall, we felt that our event planner was pleasant to work with. However, when it came to meeting our needs, we felt she was more reactive than proactive. This may be a result of her being overwhelmed, lack or training, new to the business, lack of support from upper management, or any number of other possible factors. However, we didn't get the sense that she was seeing our day through the eyes of the bride. We didn't feel that her attention to this day was taken on as if it were her own wedding day. And quite frankly for the money we paid, this should be exactly how it was viewed.

I had an incredible experience. The sales staff (Todd) was very professional, very courteous and extremely helpful. I had been shopping around for an event venue and Todd made the whole experience much easier for me with his prompt email responses, his flexibility in meeting times and his consistent followup. Of all the venue coordinators he was always the first to contact me back and he did a great job putting together a very detailed and helpful proposal. He was able to arrange great deals for me and tastings, went well above his duties and was very gracious about it. The wellshire itself is a fantastic venue, especially the outdoor tented area, very classy and the food is well prepared. Costs are extremely affordable when compared to nearby venues. I would have no problem recommending the wellshire to anyone who is looking for a place to celebrate a special event. The staff is helpful, the space is convenient and the whole experience is as stress free as possible.

My siblings and I hosted my Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary at Wellshire CC for 100 people. We provided Lunch, DJ, Dancing and Open Bar. Pricing was reasonable and the staff was attentive and pleasant. It truly was a memorable event and they are still talking about it a year later.

The Wellshire Event Center is my favorite location for hosting private, informal company functions. From booking to execution, everything is taken care of professionally and quickly with attention to every detail. The rooms are always set to our exact specifications, the food is great, and the staff are the most attentive I've ever encountered anywhere, catering to our every need from meals and audiovisual equipment to unexpected ones such as copy material or new batteries for a computer mouse... you name it. A big thanks to Kristen, Todd, Darren and Mau for flawless event execution every time, which makes our meetings relaxed and productive!

We chose this venue for our June outdoor wedding after visiting close to 20 facilities. I loved the rustic look and feel but worried (secretly) about their ability to be classy in that old of a building...I worried (secretly) about whether they could actually house 120 people comfortably....the did both of these with perfection....me and my wife funded our entire wedding by ourselves and that was a big determining factor in our decision of which facility we would choose....we met with one of the head guys originally and he got the hook out and began sinking it....he was very kind, very knowledgable, and very understanding of our budget concerns...we were excited and happy so we signed....we wouldn't see this guy again until our wedding night(I really apologize, neither me nor my wife can recall his name, you'll understand why if you keep reading).... We were assigned a coordinator and met with her (Ashlee Kruger)....as we began to work with Ashlee and plan our wedding we were taken back by her knowledge in the industry and expertise but yet her humility and desire for us to design our wedding how we wanted it....we both would constantly direct to Ashlee as we were making decisions as "the expert" because this is both of me and my wifes first marriage but we had to push for her to make a decision that her expertise knew was best....she did extremely well at taking our one or two word answers and creating exactly what we wanted....we worked with her for about 15 months on our wedding and the whole time she was easily accessible, every call we made was returned within 24 hours and every email was answered within a few hours....the day of our wedding Ashlee was remarkable....we never once felt overwhelmed with needs and desires of our wedding party or family, Ashlee handled them all and was awesome....outside of coordinating the ceremony itself and making sure it was beautiful and perfectly timed.....two of our wedding party members told me specifically toward the end of the evening "I don't know how much you paid for Ashlee but she was worth every penny"!!!!!! Lastly and also importantly the food received high honors from all of our guests....We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you consider Wellshire for your wedding, it was affordable and absolutely beautiful and absolutely perfect!!!!!! What an amazing evening....it was everything me and my wife had ever dreamed it would be and then some.....THANK YOU WELLSHIRE but mostly THANK YOU ASHLEE!!!!!!!!!
