I recently hosted my daughter's bridal shower at The Vista. From start to finish, the staff was beyond helpful and the service day of was top notch. Macey put up with many many emails and questions from me all the way until the day of the event and was always quick to respond and made planning this event a breeze. Jeff and staff the day of were beyond amazing. Everyone who attended keeps saying how this was a perfect venue, and the food and service was amazing! I highly highly highly recommend The Vista. I will be back!

I highly recommend using The Vista at Applewood Golf Course for any event. I hosted a dinner and raffle/auction for 75 and the event was spectacular. It was a pleasure working with Mackenzie, the event coordinator. She promptly responded to my requests and questions. The staff at the dinner was helpful and friendly and easily accommodated last minute seating arrangements. The food was delicious! I received so many compliments from the attendees about the venue and food. Our group will be coming back next year for another fun evening at this beautiful venue.

We had our wedding here and it was amazing! Beautiful venue and our guests raved about the food. Jeff and the serving staff were professional and accommodating. However, we were disappointed in the new event coordinator and feel that she has room for improvement.

We absolutely loved our Valentine's Day dinner!! The short ribs were delicious and the Lobster Risotto was Fabulous!! Salad, veggies and lovely chocolate dessert was wonderful!! Can't wait until we get to order again!!

Excel Academy Silent Auction

I hosted a silent auction at The Vista in 2/2022 and had a great experience. Macey was wonderful to work with in the planning stages, she always answered all emails quickly. And she was hands on the day of, getting out extra cocktail tables and linens when I asked. The event staff the night of the event were also wonderful to work with. When I had to add 2 extra seats, they did not bat a eye and quickly got it set up. I definitely recommend The Vista at Applewood Golf Course for any event!

The Vista at Applewood is truly a gorgeous venue! They have great wedding packages that includes mostly everything you need; gorgeous ceremony and reception space and the food was absolutely top notch. Jeff Fisette and Janelle were fantastic to work with. Jeff is the food and beverage manager and so kind and charismatic and Janelle was our day of coordinator and beyond sweet. Bailey was even accommodating and friendly to work with when she needed to step in. I couldn’t do a five-star review because of the event director, Macey. We began working with Savanna, which is a big reason why we booked the venue after meeting with her. I don’t know where to begin with Macey. I understand she was newish at the time and maybe even was going through some personal issues. She was not only unresponsive and annoyed that I contacted her more than a couple of times but on top of that very rude to both myself and my family. Countless items that we agreed upon in the beginning of planning did not come through, and we were charged for two items we didn’t receive on wedding day. When setting up the room, three hours before the ceremony (we hired a day of coordinator to do this) she told my aunt, “Good luck” and walked away. The cherry on top was when she called me at 0900 the day after our wedding to tell us to come and get the décor items left from the night before. We had previously agreed that we could leave the items there until 1pm. Upon arriving I had asked Macey why this needed to be done right now, her response: “well, I need to use my office don’t I”. Macey does not care about you or your event, she just wants your payment and quantity trumps quality. I know there are labor shortages but Applewood really does need to hire an event coordinator with at least some experience that kind of likes people or at least pretends to care.

We recently got married at the vista this past October. I have some very positive thoughts about the Vista, but unfortunately some not so good thoughts about the staff. Long story short we booked the Vista when there was a different wedding coordinator there. Her name was Savanna and she was fabulous. Unfortunately Savanna left and we were left with Bailey and Macey. Bailey never seemed to know what was happening with our wedding and that was frustrating. Macey always seemed bothered by our emails and was very rude. Even a few of our vendors mentioned how rude Macey was on the day of our wedding. Macey also took FOREVER to respond to questions. Jeff and Jenelle were our FAVORITE. Jeff did everything to make sure our day was perfect on the bar end. Jenelle was great but unfortunately Bailey wouldn't let us meet her until the night of our wedding which was stressful. So overall the Vista is a fabulous space and has gorgeous views, but only about half of their staff seems to genuinely care about making sure your wedding is perfect. Jeff and Jenelle want to make the bride & groom happy, while Bailey and Macey are just doing it because it's their job.

Fantastic! Should be your first and last stop! The Vista was over the top fantastic to work with and went above and beyond for our wedding! From our first meeting with Keely to our wedding day with Tatum, nothing was left for us to do! I don't think they could have made anything easier. They went over everything with us throughout the entire yearlong process for planning our wedding and over delivered! The wedding venue was beautiful and the reception was fantastic! Every guest could not speak more highly of how much fun they had and how perfect the venue was for us. The food was delicious and everyone complimented that they definitely did not leave hungry. Keely was a blessing to work with and had great ideas for us through the planning process. It felt like we'd known her for years! Tatum kept everything moving on our wedding day and made what is usually a busy and stressful day so much fun and easy! During our big day, every time we thought of something and brought it up to Tatum she had already taken care of it, so we truly didn't have to think of anything! Our guests complimented Tatum and the staff for their professionalism and the fun they created for everyone to enjoy! We couldn't be happier and would, without a doubt, have any event we're planning at The Vista! Don't walk, but RUN to see all they have to offer for your big day. I guarantee that you WILL NOT be disappointed! We were 110% delighted with our day and thank Keely, Tatum, and all the staff at The Vista for making our wedding day something that we'll remember for the rest of our lives!

We had our company Holiday party at The Vista, and we were not only satisfied, but very impressed and overly pleased. Tara, our event coordinator was very accommodating, even with our last minute OCD needs and requests. The bartenders (including Fish) were all very friendly and social, and ended up a big hit with our mixed crowd. The food was hands down DELICIOUS, every attendee agreed. The service staff also did a phenomenal job at keeping up with clean up, preparation, and servicing the buffet throughout the whole night AND after the night was over. We all felt comfortable relaxing and enjoying the party as the staff took care of our needs completely. Very reasonable prices, very beautiful venue, and amazing staff! We will be back !

We found the Vista at Applewood after some issues with another venue. We had three months to re-plan our daughter's wedding. From our initial meeting, we knew we were in good hands.Every little detail was taken care of for us. Food was AWESOME! The staff was very attentive towards our guests. Beautiful wedding garden, nice large banquet room, fabulous bar (not a portable one). Everything was perfect! As the mother of the bride, I had absolutely no worries the day of the wedding, they handled everything so I was able to thoroughly enjoy the day.

We are so happy that we picked this site for our wedding! My husband and I looked at several locations, and they all felt very "salesy" and cookie cutter. Beautiful, but not right. When we arrived at the Vista, Tara was more than happy to show us around (bless her heart, she was 8 months pregnant at the time!). The ceremony garden was beautiful, big open space and very green. Beautiful walk to the site. And the reception hall was also gorgeous: very modern looking. It has pretty distinct colors to it, but any wedding colors will work. The pricing was very reasonable, and no site fee which was a bonus! Tara was an excellent planner up to the day and was willing to answer all of my silly questions. She even ordered a tree for us to plant for the ceremony! Geoff was the day of coordinator who was on top of everything. We dealt with A LOT of rain on wedding day, but that makes the memories more perfect. If you are as indecisive as we were about your wedding details, the people at the Vista will give you the best input and best options to make your day spectacular.

I can't even begin to convey how amazing it was to walk into the reception and ceremony space and see my months and months of planning become a reality. Tara had been with me through the planning for months and she was wonderful. Unfortunately she had forgotten about a trip that was planned that she had to go on during my wedding weekend. She left us in great hands with Dan. Dan was a dream, unfortunately while opening a bottle of wine to make sure the bride and groom had their drinks during cocktail hour, the bottle cracked open in his hands and he had to go to the hospital. Thankfully the ceremony was over and Dan had helped to beautifully orchestrate that already. As we moved from cocktail hour to the reception (and dan headed to the hospital) things went relatively smoothly thanks to my maid of honor and DJ. As the night went on Dan actually came back from the hospital. I was astounded. Unfortunately though some things were starting to go wrong because we didn't have a coordinator. We had planned to have a popcorn bar that would consist of butter popcorn, caramel corn, and other fun toppings ( marshmallows, m&ms, other candies, etc,). According to some of the guests, the popcorn bar was only the two kinds of popcorn (no toppings) and it was stale/mostly popcorn kernels. Additionally I was told that there was no lighting in that area (so people couldn't see the popcorn bar). Also there was not good lighting near the guest book table/cupcake table and gift table. This may have been due to a lack of proper communication between my coordinator and DJ. Unfortunately due to the late change in coordinators, there was not a lot of time for communication. Despite being slightly biased (as the bride) it was still the most wonderful day. I couldn't believe Dan came back from the hospital (talk about committed!!) he was there to see us off and organize our sparkler send off. Between the gorgeous ceremony space, delicious dinner and apps, the drinks flowing all night and the amazing music and atmosphere, I am so happy with my venue choice and would recommend the vista at applewood golf course to any bride looking for a fantastic ceremony and reception.

We recently got married and had our reception here. We did not use the outdoor chapel, we got married elsewhere, however the outdoor chapel IS beautiful and we used it for some pictures. The food here is phenomenal. We had an Italian buffet and customized an Italian dessert table full of cannolis, tiramisu, italian wedding cookies, etc. all made from their outstanding chef. I don't know how many positive comments we heard from our guests but I've been to quite a few weddings and it's the best food I've ever had. Also, the personnel is very accommodating and makes the planning process not stressful.

To give 5 stars is not enough. They delivered my dream wedding! If I could go back to relive the moment a thousand times over, I would! Throughout the almost 9 month process of having to come in and out of state and contact via email and phone calls, Keely and the staff were so kind and supportive it brings me to tears to think of it to this day. I have never met such genuinely kind and supportive people. (Keely went out of her way to help me the day BEFORE my wedding when I completely forgot about bouquets is the kind of utmost kindness I am speaking of!) The staff the day of the wedding (Taytum, the beverage coordinator, the A1 plus DJ (found through the venue)) were amazing and they have been a HUGE talk among the guests at the wedding. Speaking of their kindness, friendliness and helpfulness is all I hear about! Taytum was the PERFECT help the day of the wedding! From making sure everything went smoothly to even something as small as making sure my new husband and I got a few minuets alone to take in the day. There is not enough money or gifts in the world I could give to repay their hardwork and support to making the happiest day of my life come true and I am so happy such wonderful people were apart of it with my new husband and myself.

Nothing like the food I served at my retirement event, smidgens of something on a tortilla chip or something in a white spoon. For sweet, both cakes were great but hard to wash down with beer..otherwise enjoyed see past workers..

I try to golf when it's not crowded here. If you do have to play in crowded conditions, it can be slow.The staff has always been helpful. Conditions of the course are generally good. The practice range can be chopped up, but then, it's normally well used, and they do keep the ball dispenser filled. We all have our favorite courses, this is easy for me to get to, and priced right.

a wonderful place for a wedding the salad was so refreshing and wonderful to eat the main dish was steak and it was cooked perfectly it was heavenly to eat the staff were so nice friendly and helpful and catered to all are needs the shrimp bacon appetizer was the best item i eat and it was so good i could not have just one the wanton pork belly chip was just like a crab wonton from the best Asia restaurants but better the chef who cooks here knows how to cook and make wonderful heavenly meals that you the bride the groom and the rest of the guests will not forget for a life time great job great meal i was impressed fully it was like dinning at a five star restaurant wow wow
