From the start to finish of our planning process, Petra was immensely helpful and supportive! Her expert knowledge of Colorado wedding vendors made planning our dream wedding easy and stress-free. She helped us and our vendors stay organized by creating a custom checklist and wedding day timeline. On our wedding day, she was extremely professional and supportive. Knowing that she had everything under control helped us be able to relax and enjoy our wedding day! Multiple family members and guests told us how impressed they were by her flawless coordination of our wedding. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing support with planning and/or coordination!

My fiance and I came to Brynn in spring 2021 with a general idea of wanting a mountain wedding in Colorado, with the feeling of being swept away to a beautiful, special place, echoing how we feel when we're with each other. We wanted an intimate, intentional celebration. The catch: we live in Miami, Florida and neither of us are familiar with Colorado (beyond a few ski vacations). To say Brynn and her team were up to the task is an understatement. From our first call, Brynn came from a place of listening and understanding, of making sure we felt heard and didn't feel lost in the process. Being from a very different part of the country, finding the right venue was the toughest part of the process for us - we had so many different considerations, including an entire wedding guest list coming from other parts of the country, while also staying true to wanting that "far away from the world" feeling. Brynn had an amazing amount of patience with us as we explored the options we had. We came close with a few places, but they just didn't give us that....feeling. That is, until Brynn showed us what became our venue. It's not a venue we would have found without her, and it was everything we could have asked for and so much more. What really amazed me was how it reflected what we were looking for, like it was created just for our event. The thing I appreciated the most about Brynn was her creativity and vision for the day. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and a destination wedding at that, but I never felt overwhelmed with the actual planning, and it was 1000% because of her and her team's attention to detail, commitment to bringing our intentions to life, and their true partnerships with the best vendors in the industry (in my completely biased opinion). She connected us to all of our vendors and they were all perfect matches to the type of humans we are - relaxed and joyful. As much as we wanted our wedding to be intentional and full of the essence of what makes our relationship special, Brynn brought that to life by building the best team we could have asked for. She held our hands through the entire process and was always very easy to communicate with and get a hold of, no matter what was on our minds, and by the time we were making decisions on design and color palettes, I felt confident in her ability to design it. She's beyond trustworthy, and truly respects that trust. As much as I let her run with her vision, she always came back to the intentions we had and the true essence of who we are as people. We told her our colors were a sunset palette - and she turned it all into a colorful ombre dream that I could have never envisioned myself. We expressed how we're very much a "team" and enjoy spending time with each other away from the world - and she made our "alone time" throughout the day of the wedding a priority for us. Her professionalism and empathy gave us what we truly wanted: the opportunity to take it all in, appreciate the day with each other, and celebrate without a worry! I only have one criticism, and it's that my wedding came too quickly and I want to plan another one with her. She made the experience that wonderful for us, and I'm forever grateful to her, for her sense of humor, her impeccable taste, her constant professionalism, and her unmatched creativity. Thank you Brynn, Jackie, and the whole team - you made the entire experience a joy, and you brought our dreams to life.

Brynn is an absolute gem! We had some very unique circumstances surrounding our day and she handled everything with grace and energy and love that blew us away! At every turn she was available, attentive and immersed in our day. From sneaking us drinks and appetizers during pictures to shepherding us around throughout the night, we knew that she a handle on everything and we were able to be fully present with each other and our guests and not worry if we were sticking to the timeline for the day. We felt like Brynn (& Jackie!!) truly cared about us as people and we appreciated that they shared in our tears, laughs and everything in between. This was the most magical day of our lives and Brynn made everything perfect. She is quick on her feet, overflows with beautiful ideas and has a massive heart -- if you don't hire her, you will regret it forever!

I don't even know where to begin on how amazing Brynn and her team were for our wedding day and throughout the entire planning process! My husband and I were engaged in 2020, and also got pregnant during that time, so we had so many life changes happening all at the same time. Brynn was there for us every step of the way and executed our wedding day perfectly. People kept asking us "Aren't you sooo stressed planning a wedding" and my husband and I would just both say, "no, we have Brynn!" She made wedding planning FUN and I always knew I could trust her. She picked out the perfect vendors for us, was always there if we had concerns around safety and covid, and the day of the wedding was absolute perfection! I had multiple people tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to - and I have First Look Events and Brynn to thank for every compliment! Brynn had a solution for every speed bump we came across, was always three steps ahead, and also so fun to work with. If you are planning a wedding, don't think twice about using First Look Events. She was incredibly communicative and responsive throughout the whole process. She had a variety of vendor recommendations but was also open to working with any vendors that we found independently. She brought in unique and fun ideas that we never would have come up with ourselves but were still reflective of who we are as a couple and what we & and our family wanted for the wedding day. We worked with Lindsay for our wedding in July 2022 at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO and she was incredible. My husband and I are from CT, so we weren't anywhere near our venue. I knew I NEEDED to work with someone who was on top of their game to say the least. I'm positive that I would have had a nervous breakdown at the wedding if I didn't have Lindsay. She's the only reason I was able to relax and enjoy the wedding, even with the things that went wrong with our catering/design company, because I knew she genuinely had our backs and would do anything or step in anywhere to make sure we had the best time possible. After the wedding my husband and I talked to each other, our families, and Lindsay about how amazing she was at the wedding (and leading up to it as well). To sum things up in one brief quote, we were recapping with my parents the next day, and my mom said "Lindsay was the best part of that wedding". (I'd like to think the fact that her only daughter got married was a top moment for her as well, but who knows haha) All in all - she's a true gem, and insanely good at what she does.

First look events did an amazing job with coordinating our wedding. Brynn was first point of contact back in 2019 for our original 2020 wedding date. With two postponements, it was extremely stressful as the bride and Brynn relieved those feelings. For the 2022 date, Petra became our day of planner and she was absolutely perfect. She worked hard the months leading up to reach out to vendors to make sure everything went according to plan. On the day of the wedding, I noticed her attentiveness and hard work to make sure everything ran smoothly. So grateful for the first look team that made the wedding day perfect.

Brynn is the definition of a professional. I am a wedding photographer and have worked with many wedding planners through the years, and Brynn is the best. She was extremely organized, easy to work with and great at what she does. We had a few hiccups through the day (that were out of our control). Brynn took care of them so that the couple didn’t have to worry or be stressed. Her communication was top-notch, if something in the timeline changed I was made aware of it immediately and not left out to dry or “figure it out”. If your wedding day is important to you, then do not settle for anyone else. I can’t recommend First Look Events enough.

If you're reading this - HIRE Brynn and her team! They were an absolute joy to work with throughout our entire wedding process (even when Covid presented obstacles we weren't prepared for) and brought our vision to life for the perfect wedding weekend that was beyond anything we could have hoped for. From the very beginning, Brynn was organized and kept us on track. She was always two steps ahead, always having answers to our questions and solutions to any obstacles before we even asked - which was a feat navigating unseen changes during Covid. She is responsive, reliable, and an amazing source for anything wedding related. Brynn's also did a beautiful job designing our wedding. Her creativity is incredible! I wanted a traditional but unique wedding and was not great at articulating a focused vision but Brynn nailed it and went above and beyond in bringing our mountain speakeasy theme to life. She did this by creating amazing recommendations and ensuring our vendors understood it as well (even when there were roadblocks from vendors regarding things they were capable of, if it was important to my husband or myself, Brynn somehow made it happen - thank you for the grand exit I always dreamt of!). Speaking of vendors, Brynn has an extensive and incredible list of vendors she has worked with and has strong relationships with. We also struggled with music (both acoustic for the ceremony and DJ for the reception) and with Brynn's help, we had the most beautiful ceremony music and awesome dance party. Day-of coordination was seamless, I barely noticed the time at any point. Brynn and her team kept the whole event moving while having fun with the wedding party along the way. We even forgot a steamer for my dress and of course - Brynn had one! After planning a wedding, I've learned that this doesn’t just happen but rather takes months and months of preparation and takes lots of organization and grace for the day of. Brynn's passion, experience, and knowledge sets her apart. Brynn, we will be forever grateful for your hard work in sending us into our marriage in the best way possible!

Brynn was incredible in planning our perfect wedding day. With crazy work schedules, we knew we needed someone to handle planning the wedding of our dreams and Brynn was perfect for it. We didn't even meet with anyone else after our first meeting because we knew she was perfect for us. She did so much work behind the scenes that made our lives SO much easier. It was SO worth having a wedding planner. Throughout the entire planning process, Brynn would respond almost immediately to emails, despite her crazy schedule of meetings & 2 kids or weekends full of weddings. This made her really shine in the planning process. She also was very kind, lighthearted and fun to be around when having planning meetings. She takes time to invest in the relationship because she knows that it is an intimate one and she immediately felt like our friend. The week and day of, Brynn was amazing. Everything went off without a hitch, and if it didn't - we had no idea because she blocked any and all chaos from us so that we could enjoy ourselves. The decor, food, details - everything - was stunning and the design she envisioned was elegant, timeless, and exactly what we wanted. Brynn was incredibly creative and has a brilliant knack for great designs. We were able to trust her vision completely. Our only concern throughout the process was we felt the budget grew on us and that the quotes came in higher than expected. We would have preferred to use cheaper vendors for some items to save money. Besides that, Brynn was an incredible asset to our wedding and we simply could not have had the most amazing wedding without her. We are so grateful for her expertise, personality and responsiveness. We highly highly recommend First Look!!

My husband and I hired Brynn for full wedding planning and to help with our rehearsal dinner coordination. I strongly recommend her for these services! Brynn was very responsive to emails (even when out of town for other weddings). She helped recommend quality companies (for the most part... we didn't love the lighting and draping group so much mostly because of how expensive they were for what they provided (elite) but everyone else was great!). Where Brynn really shined was on the wedding day. Having her to tell me where to go and what to do took SO much stress out of the day! I couldn't have asked for a better planner and for things to go smoother the day of. The only suggestion I would have would be for Brynn to be a little more budget conscious. She would provide us with these amazing recommendations that we would fall in love with but then we went quite a bit beyond our budget. To be fair, this was clearly partly our fault for having expensive taste, but it would be nice to have the low price options first to keep budget items in check. I think Brynn's price for her services is also very reasonable. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Brynn is absolutely incredible and worth every penny!!! I was planning an out-of-state wedding and my previous wedding planner canceled on me and that is when Brynn came to my rescue just 3 months before my big day. She was able to jump right in and align / coordinate with all the vendors right away. I could tell that she had a passion not just for the wedding industry but also for my husband & I. She genuinely cared about us and wanted to make our day as special as possible. Brynn was always available by phone or email - and responded immediately. I could tell by her professionalism that she knew how to coordinate and plan fabulous weddings. And not to mention, her personality was contagious!! The second I began to stress about the wedding (minor details) she reminded me of what was really important and why I was getting married. I wish I could give Brynn 10 stars because she deserves it! Brynn and her team are truly unbelievable! My husband and I wanted to get married in Denver but we live in Omaha, Nebraska. We interviewed at least 5 wedding planners and knew immediately that Brynn had the energy and the drive we were looking for in a wedding planner. From that moment forward, we had zero wedding-related stress. Brynn handled EVERYTHING professionally and efficiently. I literally couldn't have done this without Brynn! I am not a very decisive person, and she made it very easy for me by giving me a few options for each vendor rather than the 100s that are out there. Every detail at the wedding was perfect and absolutely stunning. She took my initial ideas and really made them come to life, in a truly amazing way. We had a record breaking heat wave at our wedding, and she worked hard to secure some air conditioners for our tent, which definitely saved the day. This was the 5th wedding I have attended that she has been the planner for, so I never had a second thought in hiring her for my wedding. I have been in awe at every single wedding and how well they have represented each couple individually. She is extremely communicative and was available for any questions or crises that I had (which thanks to her there weren't many!) 11/10 would recommend her to anyone!

We loved working with Alex & the First Look team for the month-of coordination for our wedding. In the months leading up to our wedding, we felt extremely supported throughout the vendor selection process. Our wedding venue was an outdoor blank canvas, which means that we had lots of vendors for everything from catering to bathrooms to a generator. Alex shared wonderful vendor recommendations as well as helpful insights and things to consider/ think about. On the actual wedding weekend, Alex had such a friendly and calming presence! She ran the event seamlessly and helped navigate the unexpected (like a sick officiant). We can’t thank her enough for coordinating and being part of such a special day!

Brynn is fabulous! I really wasn't convinced we needed a wedding coordinator for my daughters wedding. My daughter convinced me we did. Brynn was the best decision we made in all of the wedding decisions. Her being a part of everything helped me enjoy the evening without a bit of worry. She took care of EVERYTHING!! We hired her for the "month of" and she started by getting all of our contracts with our vendors and made sure that our timeline for the evening matched the contracts...we had no surprises this way and she did catch some things that I had not caught. Don't think you can get through without her. You don't realize you need her services until you have her present and taking care of everything and then you realize you couldn't have done it without her.

From our very first group call, I felt like Brynn was very intuitive, decisive and knowledgeable. As a mom, trying to plan her only daughter's wedding from Texas, I knew that I needed help. But I was very cautious, at first, not knowing who I was talking to on the other end of the phone. I loved how Brynn interviewed the bride and groom to see what they wanted out of their wedding day, meanwhile, offering guidance and choices throughout the conversation. Let me be honest in saying that I just wanted to keep my daughters wedding in budget at the beginning, and I was afraid that things would get out of control with someone from the wedding business making suggestions for vendors and such. But that is not what Brynn represented at all. In fact, I think that she actually helped us save money by suggesting vendors within our price range that provided quality products and services. I can not even imagine finding, for example, a photographer by myself. The price ranges and types of photographers in Denver alone are mind boggling. And in my experience, though the internet does give you whatever you search for quickly, it is not always reliable in terms of what kind of product you will receive in the end. Brynn has the unique ability to listen, capture the feel/vision and then take that a step further, in a good direction, when making it a reality. For example, we knew that we did not want a typical wedding invitation. I, as a mom, had done my internet research and found a beautiful invitation that was very unique, however, I did not have the budget for those invitations. Brynn suggested an artist that she thought would be perfect. I kept wondering, "How does she know what we want, we can't even put it into words yet? However, we know what we don't want". Brynn set up a phone call with everyone present. Again, they listened to what the bride and I said, but we had no idea what to tell them in terms of an actual invitation. We just knew the feel that we wanted. Well, the artist and Brynn took our ideas and just brainstormed for about 30 minutes. In the end, what they described sounded wonderful, but again I was very leery that I had just increased my total budget by 20%. However, the sample came to us and it was perfect! Just what we wanted in the colors and everything. AND may I add, it was in budget. Finally, the day of the wedding came. During this COVID time, we had already jumped about a hundred hurdles and we all quietly waited for the sky to fall. However, nothing major came up and the few little things that did, we simply called Brynn to ask her what to do. She was present within minutes with a voice of reason and a solution. I have said it several times to her, but let me make it public, she is worth her weight in GOLD. I would like to change that to she is worth MORE THAN HER WEIGHT IN GOLD!

We were able to get in touch with Brynn at First Look Events and I must say from the first time we spoke over the phone, she was amazing! She was able to set up bi-weekly Skype sessions to actually sit down and get to know us, plan what we wanted in our dream wedding, make sure everything was being planned to our specs and she was there every step of the way with the upmost professionalism, organization, people skills and punctuality. THANK GOODNESS FOR BRYNN!!!! Brynn is the real deal, organized, patient, creative, kind, brilliant at her job, and just an amazing all around person. I live out of town so planning a wedding in Colorado could have been an absolute nightmare (even before the 2020 of it all) but Brynn made the process so easy, effortless, and fun. We had legit just finished planning our dream 180 person wedding when COVID hit and without hesitation, Brynn was able to pivot, ultimately helping us plan a second, completely different (dare I say even more magical and perfect), COVID safe, micro wedding- putting in a ton of extra work for no additional cost. The wedding we ended up with exceeded all of our expectations. Truly. I can't even begin to express how brilliant and perfect every single detail was the day of- Brynn took each and every one of my original ideas (even ones that were super vague and unhelpful lol) and blossomed them into something more amazing than I could have ever dreamed. A true collaborator, she brings a TON of original ideas and inspiration to the table without any hint of ego or "do it my way" attitude. She was always very insistent about how the day was OUR day not anyone else's, and especially not hers. Her only concern was if we were 100% happy. And, the icing on the cake, on the day of she was an absolute dream- five steps ahead the whole weekend and somehow was everywhere handling everything at once, making it so myself, my parents, and my now husband, were able to just sit back and enjoy the day. She is super respectful of budget and all of her vendor recommendations were spot on (and if we wanted more or different options she was able to pivot quickly) and she is excited and willing to work with new people (but trust me, take her recs, the are all beyond brilliant). So, from someone who was hesitant about hiring a planner at all (because I thought I could do it myself, which looking back now is hysterical, what a fool I was) do yourself, your sanity, your relationship, and your wedding a favor. As someone who had to plan a wedding in Cheyenne, Wyoming from Washington, D.C. Brynn from First Look seriously made the planning a breeze. My husband and I unfortunately weren't able to do the fun things like taste test food and Brynn expertly hooked us up with a fantastic caterer out of Denver and we couldn't be more thankful. Brynn was also a dream the weekend of our wedding. There was an issue with one of the deliveries of the rentals on Friday evening while we went off and were able to celebrate at our rehearsal dinner, Brynn and her assistant stayed behind until the vendors arrived. And on the day of, when most days Cheyenne can expect wind and cooler weather we received no wind and blazing hot sun! Brynn and her assistant quickly went into action to pull all the sides up on the tent so our guests weren't melting. On top of that, she took all of the decorations that I had planned for the big day (flowers, candles, napkins, spurs, etc.) and amazingly curated them on the tables for a beautiful display. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!

I can't say enough good things about Brynn. You may not think you need her now, but I assure you you do. Her level of experience is evident, her ability to take charge is awesome, and most importantly she is great to work with! I am someone who likes to be in control of things and handing them off to someone I wasn't confident in would have been hard, but with Brynn I had so much confidence I was handing off everything (and then some!) and knew it would be handled as well or even better than what I would have been able to do myself. She also has a great gauge on what to just charge ahead with and what warranted coming to us and asking our opinion, her judgement was spot on. Not to mention that on our wedding day we had to change everything last minute (65 and sunny unexpectedly turned into 40 and dumping snow and the ENTIRE wedding day plan had to be shifted and rearranged last minute) and with Brynn onboard the Plan B ended up coming out better than our original Plan A. No joke. And it is worth stating again, that even if it weren't for the last minute weather issue we still utilized (and needed!) Brynn's assistance in those final weeks. It is so helpful and necessary and it was an added bonus to have someone with decision making ability that you are NOT related to- that can help a lot :) Brynn is the best, hire her today, the sooner the better. At first you just email with her a ton, which is very helpful, you can ask opinions, recommendations or have someone to confirm ideas and make suggestions and then during the crunch time (2 weeks prior through wedding day) she is your go-to person. Call her and chat with her now, you will be so glad you did.
