When my partner and I were starting to plan our wedding we had really big ambitions for a Halloween themed wedding, and Dana delivered more than we could have ever hoped for. Dana listened to every idea we had, no matter how crazy or unconventional they would be, and always took us seriously. She gave us such a well thought out design that was so personal to us, but seeing her work in other weddings I know that's just how attentive and creative as she is with every one of her clients. Our wedding could have been silly or tacky if handled with a less attentive person, but Dana delivered such an elegant and fun atmosphere that we heard from so many people that this was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to. When she brought us vendors she would bring 3-5 of each. If those didn't work she would bring 3-5 more. If we ever had a problem it was taken care of swiftly and she always made sure we were aware of any others that could arise. She was honest with us about our budget and kept us on track. Dana would often go out of her way to save us money in places so we could do more with it in others. On top of being incredible at her job, she's also very passionate about sustainability and brings Eco-conscious thinking to a normally wasteful industry. She donated our floral arrangements to a charity so they had a second life, and composted all of the food waste and excess pumpkins we had for decoration. Dana even donated one tree for every guest we had at our ceremony which ended up being an excess of 200 people. We would recommend Thyme & Details to anyone looking for a wedding planner. No matter what ideas you have for your wedding, she'll make them into reality and deliver a personal touch in all facets of the job. Words cannot describe how thankful we are to have run into Dana when we were looking for our planner because without her, our Hallowedding would never have been as incredible as it was.

I got married on 10.21.2022 at the Franklin Park Conservatory and hired Dana as my Day of coordinator over 2 years ago. We immediately clicked both having a love for Peru and both getting married in the Palm House. Honestly Dana made my entire wedding day flawless, we had meetings and she was so organized. She knew the venue well, and she set up our decor for us and knew my vision exactly. She is kind and very thoughtful and pays attention to details. I could not have made it through the day without her. She went to our walk through at FPC and gave great suggestions! she also texted me and emailed me to remind me of things I might need or want to consider. Dana is amazing and she is worth every penny and then some. if you have not hired dana as your wedding planner or coordinator you absolutely should do it. You NEED to hire Thyme & Details for your wedding! Choosing Dana—owner and creator of Thyme & Details—as our wedding planner was the best decision we could’ve made. She has industry experience, great client service, and problem-solving skills that make her an incredibly talented planner. Dana helped us navigate the difficulties of planning a wedding during the pandemic (including the process of booking a new venue and creating an entirely new vision after our first venue closed due to pandemic hardships). She went above and beyond every step of the way. Her deep connections within the Ohio wedding industry meant that she gave us excellent vendor recommendations. Months after our wedding, we’re still getting compliments on all the little details at our wedding—we have Dana to thank for that! Dana understands the importance of creating a wedding that is personal to you and your partner, but she’s also practical. She was very considerate of our budget and she helped us prioritize the things we cared about most. She had creative and cost-effective solutions. She also plans everything with an eye towards sustainability. As an example, she personally donated all of our flowers to a local assisted living facility after the wedding. We could not have been happier with the way our big day turned out and we know Dana was an essential component. Hiring Dana was the best decision I could have made when selecting wedding vendors. She was always responsive, professional and gave me the best recommendations and advice throughout the entire wedding planning process. Leading up to the wedding, she stayed on top of all of the little details that I'm sure brides often forget or don't even think of. I can't imagine our wedding without Thyme & Details! My husband and I got married in November 2022 at the Columbus Art Museum and we used Dana's full service planning option. Dana helped bring my vision of a classy, sophisticated, FUN wedding weekend to life, and kept us calm throughout the planning process. My husband and I both work long hours and knew we wouldn't be able to devote the time it would take to have the beautiful event we both wanted. Dana was incredibly helpful in guiding us through when to make certain decisions, and her organization is on-point (something I knew we'd also need help with!). She is very knowledgeable about local vendors, what to look for, what questions to ask, etc. It was really important to us that we be able to enjoy the big day without any worries and limited stress - Dana and her fantastic team made that happen! When I look at our photos, I have nothing but happy memories and I know Thyme & Details was a huge part of making that happen.

I kept putting off writing this review because there are not words to describe how amazing Dana and her team are. I only hired a day-of coordinator because my venue required it ... but thank goodness they did. Not only did Dana make sure everything was on schedule, decorated how I wanted, vendors knew where to go and everything went smoothly, but she worked with me and vendors for months prior to the wedding. We sat down and laid out every small detail. She called vendors to confirm, checked contracts, all the boring things that had to be done that I was dreading. I had literally nothing to worry about on wedding day because Dana and her team made my dreams come true. Please hire Thyme & Details ... you'll be so glad you did.

(From the Bride - Alexa) Dana and her team were amazing! My mom and I both work full time jobs and are generally pretty busy so we felt like we needed extra support on the wedding. We weren't sure if we needed a full blown wedding planner or a wedding coordinator so we opted for the hybrid model. My husband and I were engaged for 13 months. We were living in a different state than the wedding so there was a lot of moving parts. It was so nice to check in with Dana to make sure we were on track with vendor agreements, timelines, and just small details to remember. She also provided great recommendations when we weren't sure which vendor to choose. The month / day of the wedding she was on top of everything. If you are engaged, or soon to be engaged, you need Thyme & Details. I do not say that lightly. Dana and her team took care of everything behind the scenes. I primarily had her as my Day Of Person. She really helped with things leading up to the wedding, confirmed all the vendors and made sure all day of details worked with the timeline. If anything went wrong day of, I still don't know because she's such a boss and took care of it. Dana served as our coordinator for our wedding reception and she was excellent! She is punctual, detail-oriented and very kind. I loved that Thyme & Details offers sustainable services (if you so choose) such as leftover food donation or extra florals to a shelter/location of your choosing. Because of Dana, we were able to leave for our elopement, enjoy our mini-honeymoon and arrive the day of our backyard reception with zero worries about any of the details. I would recommend!!

Dana is the consummate professional. It was such a joy and a stress relief to have her coordinate our wedding celebration. We were immediately impressed with her attention to detail and she really helped us stay on track. On the day of the event, we had an isue which required a little improvisation to solve. We stressfully texted Dana asking if it could be fixed and without a hiccup she said "no problem" and it was done. One of Dana's gifts is her diplomatic spirit. As always, there are multiple personalities involved with coordinating large family events and she was a constant in the midst of all discussions. She even tolerated my sense of humor as I told her I was working on an "interpretive dance" for the reception (don't worry, the outfit didn't come in time). Bottom line, our celebration was a wonderful evening. We have memories we will cherish forever. We couldn't have done it without her.

Dana was fantastic in all respects. She was very quick to respond throughout the process and, even though it was limited to day-of coordination, still puts in a lot of valuable time before the ceremony. She made sure all of the vendors were in the right place at the right time and coordinated their timelines well in advance. I have no doubts she would also be great in coordinating the entire event for you--but I highly recommend you hire her for day-of coordination if you are on the fence about just using a venue's day-of coordinator. She also goes above and beyond to be sustainable. She'll donate wedding items on your behalf that are otherwise usually tossed in the landfill.

One of the things I learned from being in my friend's wedding was to hire a wedding coordinator. Since my friend didn't have one hired, the wedding party was in charge of set up and tear down -- the pressure to execute the bride's dream added a little. bit of stress to the day. So when it came time for my wedding, one of the first things I did was to look for a wedding coordinator. I found Thyme & Details via Instagram (and also a recommendation from another vendor) and hired them for month of services. I cannot stress enough how great of a decision this was. Dana met with me a few times prior to the wedding to make sure she understood my vision. She was always quick to respond to questions and almost always had answers (or would find them out for me). Not only did she provide exceptional professional and organizational skills, she was a source of calm during the day of the wedding. Walking into the ceremony and reception I was blown away by the way this team made my vision come to be and more. The wedding was a month ago but I am still hearing from friends about how smoothly the day ran. Having Thyme & Details there to coordinate between all the vendors meant that I was able to truly be present and enjoy time with my loved ones. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I cannot recommend this company enough - It was the best investment for my wedding.

The only two words you need to read are HIRE DANA. Thyme and Details was the picture of professionalism from the first consultation call to the follow up discussion following our special day. Dana made everything so easy! We planned our 200 guest wedding in Ohio from Maryland and it was not the easiest task. (Especially since we had never planned a wedding and being 6 hours away did not help.) Dana immediately put our minds at ease and made the process actually FUN instead of just anxiety inducing. We hired her for the month of services and it was absolutely everything we needed for it all to come together on the day. Of course, we had hiccups come up the day of but I never heard a peep because Dana was putting out fires before we could even stress. She is truly everything you could want in a coordinator. We could not recommend her more!!
