Jack was EVERYTHING we needed!! I was only remarrying my ex-spouse, so the simplest way to accomplish the legalities was what we were looking for. I called him after doing very little research. He told me the quickest way to get the license without having to go in person to a county courthouse. After receiving the license, we arranged to meet Jack at a convenient location. He asked if we intended to be married. He signed the docs, and just like that, we were married! He submitted the final documents back to the court. On the day of the meeting, he sent reminders. After the marriage, he provided follow-up information and made sure we had everything we needed. Jack has been doing this for many years and is an absolute professional. His wealth of knowledge and commitment to helping his clients navigate the process is worth every cent of his minimal fee.

What an amazing experience! Jack was very responsive and friendly! We called less than 3 days before the wedding and he accommodated our request to meet us on a dam where we got engaged. He was very professional. Arrived 30 mins ahead of time, had all the paperwork prepared, and explained all the procedures for changing names to obtaining a new SS card. The best experience!

He maintained a smile on his face and spoke in such a soothing and calming tone. He not only touched base with me two days prior to the wedding, but the day before as well. He also walked us through how the process would work from start to finish. He also had his portion of the marriage licenses taken care of by that evening. I can't express how grateful we are that we found Jack to officiate our Covid wedding! Jack was very friendly, responsive, easy to communicate with (via phone or text), and super flexible. My husband wasn’t allowed to leave the base and I expressed my concerns and he actually came to his graduation and married us shortly after. He even gave me the forms to change my name and mailed in our licenses for us. Told my husband if there was any problems with deers to call him. Honestly, who does that? You won’t regret hiring him. If you need a wedding officiant for your marriage then Jack is the guy to do it. Our originally scheduled minister took ill and had to cancel. We called Jack and he was able to fit us into his schedule. Ours was not a simple elopement, but a large wedding, with over 50 guests, a rehearsal, procession, and reception. Jack helped guide us and work out some of the bugs during the rehearsal. Our wedding day ran smoothly and went off with only a small hitch when the ring bearer (who is a little boy) panicked and dropped our rings. Jack saved the day! He bent down, spoke softly and calmly to Brian, retrieved the rings, and got the ceremony back on track. The ceremony was so meaningful to us and I have to say Jack played no small part in making our wedding day a success. We are so glad we found him. Due to my Pastor unable to do it due to personal bereavement, Jack was able to do it! He offered us several different locations in the Columbia area that were beautiful and monumental sites in our Capital on our telephone consultation. Jack sent me a confirmation of the date, time, and location of our wedding as soon as our consultation concluded. He also sent another confirmation the day before and day of our ceremony, which was reassuring for me. We decided on the Lace House Gardens near the Governor’s Mansion. It was perfect! The flowers were in bloom and the sun was magnificent! We met Jack with my parents the day of our wedding. Jack confirmed with us if we were saying our own vows or what type we would want: we chose the traditional Christian vows. During our Ceremony, Jack was heartfelt and professional in officiating our vows. After our Ceremony he took pictures with us and instructed us on where to sign. Since I was going back to Sumter, I took my Marriage License and two copies, totaling three. Two I took the Court House in Sumter. Our own copy had our seal and Jack’s notary seal on it as well. He explained how everything would be process. We chose to take our License back for processing of other paperwork, but Jack will gladly take it to the courthouse for you.
