The M Space is the perfect establishment to host your events. I recently had my sisters gender reveal/baby shower there and it was perfect. The owner and staff was amazing, as they make sure to help you with the placement of tables and chairs and so much more. The line of communication was always clear and open. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to host any kind of event. You would not be disappointed! Give this place 5 stars!!!!!

M Space was the perfect location to celebrate my Mother’s 90th birthday! Michelle was the most gracious person to work with. The food she prepared was delicious and the decoration were perfect. We had a buffet lunch with appetizers and about 60 people. We could not have asked for a better location or a better person to work with. Michelle cared about every detail and she made the day stress free! I would use M Space and Michelle again in a heartbeat!

I had the amazing opportunity to design a Baby Shower at the lovely M Space venue on August 6, 2022. My client couldn’t have chosen a better space to create the perfect ambiance for her theme. Michelle was very nice, accommodating and attentive to our needs. DeMarcus assisted with whatever we needed as well and was very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this venue if you’re looking for the perfect space for an intimate or private event.

M Space is amazing! It’s a great place for a great price! The space is minimal so it can fit any occasion whether as is or decorated. Michelle Wang the owner really sets the place over the top though! She takes the time to get to know her clients and is very personable. She is also willing to work with you if need be. Where can I begin. This venue was the best!!! I had my wife's 40th surprise birthday party here on 11/19/22. Everything was beautiful!! The food that was catered by Michelle was amazing. Michelle is a wonder to work with and she answered every question that I had. She answered every text and call, even up until a couple of hours before my party even started. I highly recommend this venue for any parties or celebrations that you are planning.

My husband and I had a joint 50th Birthday Celebration “Year of 50” at M Kitchen and it was PERFECT! From the 1st day we met Michelle and her staff to the last day of business, after the event, we were 100% satisfied. We had the wonderful experience of hosting our grad program semi-formal at this location. We loved working with Michelle to make this night special for all of our students. Michelle was so accommodating and organized and I didn’t feel any stress from planning this formal at all with her help. Beautiful venue with excellent food and exceptional customer service. Michelle so nice and always a phone call away and provided everything we needed. The venue was clean and decorated very nicely. The food was hot and delicious there was enough for everyone to take a plate home. Her food and service were DELICIOUS, BEAUTIFUL, AND AWESOME!! Recently had my baby shower at M Space and it was amazing. Great location, Michelle was amazing with answering any questions I had before booking the venue. There are a lot of things that are offered with this venue that you can add when booking which is another amazing plus. There is another location on Harbison Blvd that I have heard is a great location as well.

I wish I could give more stars. My husband and I had our wedding celebration at M Grille. It was amazing! The venue was beautiful! We also had the food catered by the chefs at M Grille/M Vista and it was delicious. Michelle and her staff were so very easy to work to with which really helps when planning an event. I just had my wedding at M Space and catered by M Vista! Everything was sooo wonderful! The space was perfect! We had about 75 guests and they loved the food! This unique event space is probably the best in Columbia, SC. Also, the chef provided a fantastic food selection, and everyone loved it. Especially the green beans. I was able to rent M Kitchen for a surprise birthday party for my brother. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and fresh. Everyone talked about it. The outdoor patio area added the perfect overflow. Michelle communicated with me the entire time during the process since I was concerned living out of state. But she delivered as promised. Highly recommend this venue for parties, events or weddings. We just had our wedding here and it was perfect. We had the less than 50 guest so we had a lot room to dance around. We paid for table setup prior to our event and the owner sent us video making sure our request was fulfilled the night prior to our event. As well as the owner provided us with three gifts after our event concluded. One of which was a beautiful piano selection. Again highly recommend.

Loved the beautiful location! Highly recommend for any event you want to throw from wedding to corporate events. I see many more of my future events being hosted here! I had a small family gathering last week. It was such a fun time. Everything was perfect from food to music to service.

I attended my cousins, Dr. Jamie Hill Park-Foster graduation party this past Sunday and it was nice. The facility was nice and clean. Everything was decorated so lovely and I would definitely recommend this venue if someone was looking to have an event downtown.

Wow, where do I start!?! We had a blast last night celebrating my mother n law’s birthday. Michelle is co owner with her husband, but when I say she is a phenomenal host, it’s an understatement compared to how above and beyond she went to make sure her guest enjoy their time at an optimized level while they have her venue rented out. Michelle was on standby if we needed anything, but respected us by giving privacy as well. She gave us complementary gifts as a token of her appreciation for selecting her venue red wines and organic tea. The price was fair, the location was superb, and if you’re ever looking for a venue in the Columbia area; look no more, this is the place to be!!!

Not only is the space amazing, but Michelle and her team go above and beyond to make your event perfect!!! Michelle made sure we had everything we needed for our event. She kept in contact with us, meet us a few times to go over what we needed. She set the venue up and sent me a video before we got there to make sure we liked it!!! We held a networking event for an organization. The space is perfect to host an event like this. You can have music playing in the background, you have a large TV to display a Presentation. The food! Oh how many complements on the food. It’s amazingly delicious!! I highly recommend using Michelle, her event spaces and food!

I had great privilege serving a 140 pp Vietnamese wedding at this beautiful venue. Our boss Michelle gathered us 3 hours before the banquet to instruct and inform us how to serve this 8 courses dinner properly. We were also treated with the most delicious foods I have ever tasted in my life: from slow simmered ginger chicken soup to Peking duck, from crispy Flounder to Lobster Hongkong Style ( which I can still enjoy after it was cold in my Togo box) … I look forward to working there again to serve many more happy guests! We used MSpace for an event we had this past weekend and it was definitely the best choice. The venue is beautiful, multi-functional, doesn't require a lot of decorations, but is stunning with deco. The staff is incredibly accommodating, easy to work with and punctual.

Where do I start. Michelle was absolutely phenomenal to work with. When there was a hiccup about the date at the beginning, she was able to rectify it and accommodated very well. Michelle's personable communication is impeccable especially in an age where good customer service is hard to find. DeMarcus also was a huge help. He made sure that we had everything that we needed to have a successful event from start to finish. The space is to die for. It provides an intimate feel without being crowded. I had about 100 guest and we were able to move freely. If I have an event in Columbia, this would be the first place that I consider.

The CA Johnson HS Class of 1967 celebrated our 55th Reunion on Friday, October 14, 2022 at MSpace. MSpace is an extremely accommodating venue; warm, cozy and friendly. The success of our event would not have possible without the principal person, DeMarcus. DeMarcus was the “go to person”, he was right on point from the opening, catering, technical assistance , setup advice and the closing. He is friendly, respectful, he is a “people person” and most of all he knows and does his job. Would I use MSPACE in the future? Yes, as long as DeMarcus is on board. By the way, the food and the food service was delicious!! Thank you MSpace.

Not sure about the other posts, but as an African American family who booked a Sweet 16 for a bunch of typically rambunctious youths, we encountered nothing but quality service, great food and the willingness for the staff to go above and beyond to pull off an elaborate party in only 3 days! The food was amazing and Michelle obviously went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect... and it was. I was left with grateful guests, lots of beautiful memories and one truly thankful and happy 16 year old. Thanks Michelle, it was AMAZING!

M.Space left no detail out for my son's rehearsal dinner last weekend. From the day I met with Michelle( 8 months before the event) until the event, Michelle, the owner, was beyond kind, organized, stayed in touch with me, and knows exactly how to plan any event( I watched her as she was often planning something while I there for a walk through). The venue is beautiful with many ways to set up to your liking. The food is delicious( hello, Myios!) And the service staff went above and beyond. I searched google found the M Space I was impressed with what I saw online, I contacted the owner, call my daughter had her to schedule a day she could go see the place. My daughter was very impressed, so I decided to look no further, and book my event date, unfortunately my son could not get back from Afghanistan at that time so we contacted the owner and she was amazing with the date change, she accommodated our new date 9/18/21. I highly recommend this event space they were simply amazing, the food was on point everyone enjoyed the space, atmosphere and enjoyed all the food and beverages This event space is super clean with very gracious staff. and very nice area in Columbia SC. Our max occupancy is 120 not 200 ( by Aaron N), our max sound decibel meter level is 85 not 100 which happened this past Sunday on a Vietnamese wedding .. we Do have to impose a fine for clients who violated our rental agreement as we are abiding by the bylaws of our condo home owner association. Mutual understanding and respect are required and appreciated to have any good relationships. No one shall suffer through your " good time" with reckless band playing and beer bottles throwing down on the floor... We are praying for Peace and Prosperity for everyone!

We just had our wedding and reception there and it was absolutely perfect. Not too big, not too small. Many guests said it was the best food they'd had at a wedding (catered by M Space). It's a contemporary yet neutral space that you can make your own when decorated. Finally, and super importantly, the staff was a true pleasure to work with. The manager Crystal is always cheerful, helpful, and wanted our big day to go off without a hitch (pardon the pun). She met with us as many times as we needed and was great at communication. One last note, with hotels within 100 yards, it was perfect for our out of town family and friends. Cannot recommend M Space highly enough. Cheers!

First, I am not even sure words can describe our evening at M Space. Our event only took place, due to a mishap that Michelle literally turned into a "blessing" at M Vista during our church's first couple's night out. Our church held it's appreciation dinner at M Grille. Before even arriving, Michelle (owner) was sending pictures of the beautiful live flowers that she was using for décor, she confirmed the itinerary and made sure that everything was set for our evening. Of course, my friends and I arrived early to setup a few things for the church and once we got there, I noticed that there really wasn't anything to do as Michelle and her staff (Marcus) took care of EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING. We did not have to lift a finger. The space was beautifully decorated, and I really just felt such a calming presence. We had a beautiful evening, with great food and excellent service. I honestly have no complaints. Michelle treated us like family. It was like we had known each other for a long time. I will use the term "kindred spirits". She also took time to engage with us after the dinner was over. That was really the best part of the night. I have never known an owner to take time away from their business to genuinely fellowship with us. She was so encouraging. I recommend M Space/M Grill for any event of your choice. Michelle will take care of your every need with dignity and respect. Lord willing, we will definitely utilize Michelle and her business again. In the short time that I have known her, she has been a jewel.

We were asked to leave linens that she provided in one spot and sweep up and leave venue as we found it... Great experience... M Space was selected as the venue for the 19th biennial Levi and Penelopia Kirkland family reunion. In attendance were about seventy – five (75) family members from various parts of the US. Everyone I spoke with was highly satisfied with the facility and the food. The layout of the facility was perfect for a group of our size. We took advantage of the many flat screens and the music. The food was catered by M Vista and it was delicious and plentiful. My favorite was the chicken kabobs. For dessert, we opted for a couple of varieties of cake. The cakes was beyond delicious. Crystal, your suggestions were spot-on - décor, set-up, food selection, etc. Thank you for all that you and your staff did to make our 19th biennial family reunion a memorable occasion. I definitely would strongly consider M Space for my next event.
