DJ Luniks might have been the best thing of my wedding! I’m latin and for the reception I wanted the whole Bad Bunny album. My husband is from Michigan and wanted to slow dance to Frank Sinatra. Somehow Daniel DJ Luniks made it work and got everybody dancing until the end! He is so organized and so helpful! He was able to smoothly translate to English and Spanish all of the speeches. He has his own very elegant set up. I mean he should be doing ALL the weddings in Chicago!! Also.. get the sparklers !!

After reading all of the great reviews Luniks Entertainment had, we decided to contact them for our wedding. We had our initial consultation with DJ Daniel, and right from the start we saw he was the DJ for us. He asked questions to get a feel for what vibes we wanted throughout the wedding. He was communicative and extremely professional throughout the planning process. Having never worked at our venue before, Daniel scheduled a tour on his own to ensure he knew what he needed to bring the day of our wedding. On our actual wedding day, Daniel kept the wedding flowing. He let us know what was next, he was a great MC, and he kept our guests dancing for 4 hours STRAIGHT. He mixed different genres seamlessly. We had an amazing night and our guests have commented what a great DJ Daniel is. Look no further than Luniks Entertainment for your wedding!!

Luniks was great in every way. Daniel was communicative, supportive, and went above on beyond to make sure all was prepared for wedding day. Our DJ, Kristian, had a great knowledge of music and knew how to keep the crowd dancing. DJ Kristian was kind, prepared, professional, and fun all day. We contracted DJ Luniks aka Daniel for our April wedding. He was wonderful to work with: responsive and efficient, made sure we understood everything, clear with terms of the contract, helped us plan the itinerary the day of the event, served as an incredible professional BILINGUAL MC - this was so appreciated by our family - and on top of all that, played incredible music through out the night. From the cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing , the music played reflected our taste and kept the party going. He met with us multiple times and got a good feel for what we wanted and the day of, he checked in on us several times throughout the night. He also coordinated with the venue and photographer to ensure all of our goals for the night were met. We wanted to have an amazing party and he helped us execute that dream. Daniel is an experienced professional and excellent to work with.

We booked Daniel because he played at our favorite college bar back in 2011 and he always had the crowd dancing. Well, he definitely delivered again on our wedding day in 2022! Not only was he a great DJ, but he was always on top of things. He walked us through all of the planning process and made things so much easier. When planning a wedding, the last thing you want to do is follow up with vendors about tasks or last minute concerns. We didn't have to worry about any of that with Luniks entertainment because Daniel was really organized, made us feel like VIP guests on event day, and ensured all of our wishes came to life. We really cannot recommend DJ Luniks enough. Professionalism, attention to detail, and communication skills were amazing!

I cannot say enough nice things about working with Daniel Luna. We finalized our DJ selections a little later than usual (according to the Knot timeline) and despite that, Daniel was so instrumental with our planning process! During our meetings, Daniel brought up suggestions and ideas that we had not thought about. He was AMAZING during the wedding. I didn't have an event coordinator but Daniel did such an amazing job at keeping all of us on schedule. I can't wait to book with Luniks again for our first child's baptism party!

Aside from our venue, Luniks Entertainment was the first vendor we booked for our wedding! We knew instantly from the reviews that this was going to be a knowledgeable, reliable, and stellar company to work with. We chose to book DJ Daniel (who is the owner and bilingual in English and Spanish) and from the first meeting, his guidance and expertise made us feel so excited and confident for the day and its music backdrop! He was incredibly organized, not just with the music selection process, but also with the reception timeline to ensure certain announcements would be made at x time and that correct music was playing during mariachi breaks, entrances, special dances, etc. DJ Daniel and his team are also experts in sound systems so they were able to set up our mariachi amazingly with all the stands, microphones and other equipment needed. DJ Daniel and his team made it such a fun, energetic evening and our guests danced all night!! We had a mix of English and Spanish songs and all different ages attending! All in all, highly recommend!! Book Luniks now!

DJ Daniel did an incredible job leading up to and at our wedding. During the planning process, he was highly responsive and involved via email, planning sessions, and the online portal provided. On the day of, he blew us away with his performance. He delivered an amazing imitation of the 90s Chicago Bulls entrance for our wedding party entrance which set the tone for the night. His set list spanned multiple decades and his transitions were flawless, keeping guests of all ages dancing all night. He finished the night off with an epic 15 minute finale of songs that our guests are still talking about. I would recommend Luniks Entertainment for any couple looking for a DJ for their wedding!

Daniel and his team did an amazing job at our wedding! We hired Daniel for the ceremony and reception music, and his team for the reception photo booth. His organized approach prior to the big day gave us complete confidence. This included check-in meetings that he set-up with an agenda for each and online planning tools to request music and organize the day’s timeline. We never had to worry about communication with him or his team and appreciated his quick responses back to us for any questions that we had. He also does several things on the wedding day that were outstanding. He MC’s the wedding in a way that sticks to your requests and schedule but with the appropriate amount of flexibility in timeline. We had a quick ceremony location change due to rain and he adapted quickly. Finally, he pays attention to small details like changing from his all-blacks for set-up to a full suit for the ceremony and reception. Would highly recommend to hire for your wedding ceremony & reception!

My now husband and I were married on July 9th, 2022. We selected Luniks Entertainment after vetting a few different DJ/entertainment companies for our wedding. What made Daniel Luna (business owner) and Luniks stand out was Daniel's personable and professional demeanor (plus their pricing was very fair per competitors). This demeanor continued the entire wedding planning process. Daniel was attentive, helpful, and made our lives easy during what was a stressful time. Daniel, we cannot thank you enough. We settled on DJ Kuya Kris after listening to some of his samples and were really looking forward to working with him the months leading up to the wedding. My husband and I both wanted to be on the dance floor the entire evening and hoped to have our guests join us. We were blown away by DJ Kris and his ability to keep the dance floor packed all night long. He got our vibe and style of music from the few "love it" songs we submitted prior to the wedding and turn it into an all-night dance party (exactly how we wanted the wedding to be). We had so, so many guests comment on how fun the wedding was and this was in big part to our wonderful DJ and Luniks. As a multicultural couple (Mexican and Jewish), we were looking for a DJ who understood the importance of cross-cultural weddings and could cater to wide variety of musical tastes – from the traditional Hora to Banda to Top 40. We found Luniks Entertainment, specifically, Daniel Luna, and we could not be happier we hired him to be part of our special day. Daniel is professional, patient, detail-oriented, passionate about music, and truly a wonderful person. Leading up to our wedding, Daniel met with us several times to explain the online planning portal and carefully listened to our preferred musical genres, special event songs (e.g. Hora and Vibora de la Mar), and took note of the songs we absolutely did not want him to play. Up until the wedding, he checked-in with us via email and phone and even took the extra step of confirming with our mariachi band (a vendor not associated with Luniks) since it was the band’s first time at our venue. When the day of the wedding came – WOW! Daniel absolutely blew us away. The playlist was everything we wanted, his transitions were perfect, and he catered to every single guest on the dance floor. It was packed the entire night and people still are commenting how talented our DJ was. He also was an amazing MC and ensured everything he said was bilingual. One of the best memories of our wedding was when Daniel played a traditional Mexican song and everyone came rushing to the dance floor – even folks who had never heard this genre of music. The pre-planning meetings and tools were so helpful for us, and essentially helped us think of logistics that we hadn't planned for since we didn't hire an event planner. We appreciated the flexibility and flawless execution of our schedule despite some small on the fly changes that we made. The DJ executed all of our announcements in a timely manner. HIRE LUNIKS ENTERTAINMENT FOR YOUR EVENT!!! Luniks Entertainment provided a phenomenal service for our wedding day! We hired Daniel Luna as our DJ. I had interviewed so many DJ's prior to finding Luniks and Daniel had the personality that we were looking for. He had the professionalism but was also very personable. I also loved how Daniel and his team are all bilingual. It was so important for us to have a DJ who was fluent in Spanish. Daniel demonstrated how reliable he was through his punctuality and attention to details. He checked in with all our vendors to make sure everything was in sync. Daniel reminded our photographer and videographer of the timeline and if adjustments were needed. He reminded our live band when they would pause and continue during cocktail hour. He checked in with various members of our bridal party before they made their speeches for the evening. He also utilized the sparklers at various times during our wedding. Most businesses only allow for sparklers to be used twice during your event, but Luniks allowed for more usage. This was such a great addition that was worth adding to our package. Daniel also made sure to personalize our event by getting to know us as a couple. We felt as ease knowing that our DJ was familiar with all our music preferences. All our wedding guests enjoyed the music for the evening. It was perfect! My husband and I were so happy with the services that Luniks Entertainment provided! We will definitely seek them for future events and continue to recommend them to our family and friends.

Look no further! Daniel & Lunik's Entertainment is the most professional and well versed DJ in the Chicagoland area. This is your DJ if you are having a mixed wedding. From the beginning, Daniel was very responsive to all our needs via email and during the zoom meetings. We had a half Mexican half white wedding and he made sure to ask us and detail out both sides. Daniel also helped us perfect our time line for the day of. DJ Alex was our DJ the day of the wedding. Our guests danced for nearly 4 hours straight! They were so great we had no hiccups whatsoever DJ Gordon was amazing he played the songs we wanted and made sure the songs we had on our no play list were not played. Seeing pictures of the dance floor makes us smile so big because you can see how happy our friends and family were! Can't forget to mention his amazing photo booth service!! We met with Daniel via zoom a few times before the wedding to iron out the details which put us immediately at ease. His level of professionalism and attention to detail is clearly what has made his business so successful. Not only were his services seamless, we cannot even begin to describe his blending of music. Swapping from different genres of Hispanic music to traditional wedding music and everything in-between flowed so absolutely perfectly. His services at our wedding was everything we needed and more. DJ Daniel was fantastic. We were a COVID wedding that ended up moving our event date not once, but twice. Daniel was very easy to work with through the date changes and never charged anything extra. The personal log in to our event page allowed us to customize our wedding, was easy to use, and helped us choose songs for some of the traditional events like introduction of the wedding party and cake cutting. We chose the genre for the cocktail hour and for dinner—we had multiple guests ask us if we made the dinner playlist as they would love to have it if we did! We were thoroughly happy with Daniel and will use him again in the future when we have need of a great DJ!

We held our wedding September 2021 and was blown away by DJ Daniel Luna of Luniks Entertainment. From the moment we had our first consultation meeting to the actual wedding day, Daniel was extremely professional and kind. Daniel was perfect! We chose Luniks Entertainment for our wedding day music after consulting with him for about an hour or so about his services. Daniel is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Using the online forms to set up a timeline, add our must play songs and put any special request was so helpful. Daniel also checked in on a final call before the wedding and helped us with things we didn't even think about. Day of, he was excellent. He checked in with me whenever he had a question and was able to keep my mom's requests in check with mine (lol)! We had a mixed wedding and Daniel had everyone dancing the WHOLE night. Luniks Entertainment did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding. Everything was perfect. We have attended other weddings in the past who used Luniks Entertainment, and they did a superb job at those events – and they also come very highly regarded in reviews online, so we knew that we wanted to go with them. I (the groom) also have personal experience in the DJing industry, so I know what a DJ would do right or wrong, and both the owner, Daniel, and our DJ, Alex, did everything exactly right for us. Daniel held multiple consultations before the wedding to ensure that they knew precisely what we wanted, and asked all of the right questions. We loved the fact that they had pre-defined playlists for things like pre-ceremony and cocktail hour that we could choose from, so that we didn’t have to pick every song ourselves – although they did, of course, give that option as well. We were admittedly very picky with our playlist, song, and overall music style selections, and Alex literally hit every single thing that we requested, spot on – from the exact song order of the early playlists, to playing certain songs when appropriate, to setting exact timing/cue points when requested for certain songs, to the dance floor tracks and mixes. We even threw Alex a curveball or two by asking him to switch up a style early or later once it got to dance floor time, given what we wanted to hear, and he had no problems with it, and did it perfectly. He kept the dance floor moving all night long, and we heard from numerous people that they loved the music that the DJ was playing. Let's be real - if you're doing your own wedding planning, it's equal-parts exciting and stressful...but when you add-in Covid restrictions, rescheduling, & down-sizing, it can get a little crazy to say the least. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding (or any event requiring DJ services), Lunkis Entertainment is the only way to go! Getting married during COVID was stressful and trying time, however working with Lunkis Entertainment was stress free and Daniel’s assistance in the preparations was key to having a wonderful night. He was incredibly flexible with us the entire time during planning, even after a lot of plans were in limbo for a while. COVID had decreased our wedding size by half and we weren’t sure we needed the “full services”, he was flexible in working with our budget and even a last-minute venue change. To help us prepare for the day, Daniel set up 2 video calls to help us determine what we wanted for the night of the wedding. He provided us with lots of suggestions on songs and showed us how to navigate the online planning tool. He helped us create our entire timeline for the evening, providing suggestions on order of events/timing based on his professional expertise. The company also made sure they were providing excellent services while maintaining the safety of all guests. Daniel wore his mask the entire time he was at the venue and maintained proper social distancing. He also had a great “text your request” service that guests could send in music requests without having to go up to the DJ booth. This definitely got used during the reception and people were happy to be able to request songs through this platform. If the bride & grooms planning experience wasn’t enough to convince you yet, we also received a number of comments on how great the DJ was throughout the entire night – from making sure each table was properly released for the buffet line, to letting our photographers know he was getting ready to announce important moments throughout the night so they wouldn’t miss memorable moments, to staying a little over because the party was going so well. Lunkis Entertainment and Daniel were truly the reason for our wedding being so beautiful and smooth. THIS IS YOUR DJ – you will not be disappointed!

I don’t even know where to begin- so I guess I will start with when we first met Daniel at the bridal expo at gaelic park in February of 2020 (literally weeks before covid hit). My review of the DJ is from the Best Man perspective. I emailed Daniel and Luniks Entertainment about a unique request: projector and clicker for my Best Man Speech. Not only was Daniel very responsive but he gave me a few options and recommended the right one for the venue. The venue was a bit on the smaller side so he was able to get the projector where it wasn't in peoples way but they were able to see. The best thing about Daniel is his responsiveness. I would email him and he would email me back quickly with his response. He was also very responsive to my brothers request for certain music, playlist, etc. Great music and played at the right time during the actual wedding. He was also able to hook up the sound for the trio that was playing for the ceremony and cocktail hour. If it weren't for him, the trio wouldn't have sounded nearly as good. I wish I would have hired him for our wedding!

Daniel and DJ Jesse were INCREDIBLE!! Daniel worked with us throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding. He was extremely flexible and was readily available to answer any of our questions or address any of our concerns. A couple of days before the wedding, we had a call with DJ Jesse to once again run through the day-of timeline and our vision for the reception. DJ Jesse exceeded our expectations the night of our wedding!!! The dance floor was jam-packed the ENTIRE reception! Our guests, both young and older, could not say enough great things about him! We had a very specific style of wedding (we wanted it to have a very club-y feeling and we had an Hora Loca, where the music and BPMs increased, the lights dimmed, and the glow sticks (provided by Daniel) came out), and saying that he absolutely nailed it is an understatement. I was a little concerned about how DJ Jesse would keep the dance floor moving, given our different groups of guests (think: Cubans from Miami who live to party one one end, and grandparents and kids - whose bedtimes are 8pm), but I was so pleasantly surprised! Even my husband's grandma, who usually walks with her oxygen tank, was shaking and moving. I cannot thank Daniel and DJ Jesse enough for helping to make our dream wedding a reality. We will remember this day, and all of the dancing, forever! HIRE THIS TEAM!!! You will not be disappointed.

We used Luniks Entertainment for our June 2022 LondonHouse wedding and had DJ Kris as our DJ. THey were hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I cannot recommend them enough. Daniel was so kind and easy to work with, and DJ Kris was one the best DJ I’ve ever seen at a wedding, no question. They listened to all of our opinions and meshed our requests perfectly. I loved that they let us be as hands on or hand off as we wanted during the planning process. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, even until the very last dance. Months later, our friends still tell us it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever attended. Seriously, Daniel and Kris are the best out there!!
