Joe and Contagious Events were worth every penny! The whole team went above and beyond in making our special day possible. Couples use the Contagious wedding portal to track guest count, obtain vendor suggestions, and update financial spreadsheets. Additionally, the portal has a monthly tracker for couples to check off completed tasks. It makes the whole planning process so much easier to handle when you have all the information in one place, and broken down into easily digestible bullets. Joe also sets up monthly meetings to keep us up to date and on track with the planning process. Before I conclude, I also have to mention how absolutely helpful Joe was during Covid. Like so many couples, we had to reschedule our planned wedding in 2020 due to the pandemic. It was incredibly stressful and disheartening experience, but Joe really took a huge burden off of us when he reached out to all our vendors and ensured we were able to reschedule without hassle. That alone was worth every penny we paid. Joe is amiable, professional, organized and gave us great wedding advice! His assistance truly lifted such a burden off of my (now) husband and my plate during the hectic and stressful wedding planning process. Hiring the Contagious team was the best investment in our wedding we made! 5/5 stars!

I cannot imagine how we would've had such an unforgettable wedding without the help of Joe and his amazing team! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Joe for two years as we planned through the pandemic and into the busiest wedding season ever. We couldn't have done without Contagious Events. Joe is an amazing wedding planner, who will listen to all your concerns and translate them into actions. He can take whatever crazy, confused list of ideas you may have and turn it into a vision. There were so many difficult decisions to make and waffling between ideas on our end, and Joe was able to navigate it all. He's truly seen it all and doesn't provide empty promises when he tells you it will work out. In addition to Joe, we had the pleasure of working with Gail and Kim, who were integral to our wedding day running so smoothly. At the end of our wedding, my husband and I were so grateful that we were truly able to enjoy every moment as Joe and his team worked out every detail in the background. I strongly encourage you to hire Contagious Events for your wedding. You won't meet a better crew of amazing humans. We still can't believe the wedding we had was OURS and I attribute full credit to Joe and team, who made it the best day of our lives.

The Contagious Events team and Joe are phenomenal, and that's not even doing them justice. We were referred to Joe by close friends who shared the same gushing feelings over his contribution, vision and bad-assery and I'm so glad we listened to them. Joe not only helped hone the vision we had for our wedding - which was very light, I think we told him "we just want everyone to have the best time" - but he crafted moments and memories that we never could have dreamed of. His close ties to the wedding community helped surface food, music and reception ideas we never would have even thought to search for. Over the course of close to a year of planning, the monthly check-in's with Joe helped take the pressure OFF. We had a manageable check list to get through every 30 days - easy! All we can say is book Contagious Events as soon as you can. They are wonderful, funny, kind and honest humans who listen to your vision, see your heart and bring it to life. I never, ever, thought we'd use a Wedding Planner but I have no idea how we could have ever had such a perfect, stress-free, enjoyable wedding experience without Joe! Joe for President! :)

I wish I could give Joe and his team at Contagious a million stars instead of just 5/5! My husband and I got married on 6/5/21 (our original wedding date) in Boston and despite some changes to our original plans (significantly downsizing the number of in person guests and virtually live streaming our ceremony to the rest of our family and friends), wedding planning was so smooth and I genuinely don't know how we could have done it without Joe, Hollie, & Kim from Contagious. We hired Contagious for the month-of-coordination, but they were consistently willing to answer any questions to speak to our venue as we navigated Covid wedding planning. They were so easy to talk to, were transparent in regulation expectations, and managed all of our vendors flawlessly on wedding day. I cannot recommend them enough for your wedding and event planning needs!!

Joe and his team at Contagious Events did an amazing job keeping us on track for our wedding in September. He was organized, professional, and fun to work with and handled some unusual situations with our venue and catering team - an handled them with grace and a great sense of humor. We are so appreciative of his work. His thoughtful and ongoing planning helped us (bride and groom) feel comfortable as we got closer to the event that details (and some minor hurdles and hiccups) were handled very well. I also really appreciate that Joe made things so much easier on my parents who were doing a large part of the planning as well but were out of state. And, the day was fun and flawless and we were relaxed knowing Joe and his team were on hand to help smooth out any wrinkles that came up for us or our guests. Thank you so much Joe!

We are so thrilled to have found Joe and Colleen from Contagious Events! We got married in June, and it wasn't until February that we realized we needed to hire a day-of coordinator. Our venue recommended Joe, and we were pleased to find his company offers different levels of coordination. We opted for the Primetime package, since we had already booked most of our vendors, but as the date grew closer we needed professional help to put it all together. Joe formatted all of our contracts, guest list, and other requests in an easy to use online portal. He was full of invaluable advice and recommendations (since we had never done this before!) and was available by email or phone. I can't overstate the amount of work and help Joe and Colleen provided us, including helping to run the rehearsal. We both felt so relaxed and easy on the actual wedding day, because we knew our timeline that Joe and Colleen put together had accounted for every detail. Not only are they true wedding professionals, but they are just fun, nice people to be around! Our wedding would not have been the same without Contagious Events!

I am a professional event planner and knew I would need a wedding coordinator to keep everything going smoothly on the wedding day, and Joe delivered. Joe was able to meet with my son and his fiancé and glean from them what sort of feel and look they wanted for their event before they could even articulate it themselves. His organization and attention to detail was flawless. When we experienced a glitch at our venue, Joe stepped in quickly and masterfully and managed to shield us from the fallout. The result was a wedding that was personal, stunning, and joyful. Thanks to Joe, my husband and I were able to enjoy the day instead of worrying. If you have a celebration in the near future, this is the outfit you want to hire. Period. UPDATE: How great is Joe? We hired him for our daughter's wedding 2+ years later, and I'm happy to report that he is still the gold standard for wedding planners.

From making sure every detail was beautiful, to negotiating contracts with vendors and finding us the best possible solutions within our budget, to dropping what he was doing to save us when we all forgot how to tie our bow-ties, to responding to my frantic texts promptly any- and every-time I panicked over the past year, to making sure everything came together perfectly on a Thursday afternoon in Provincetown... Joe was there for us every step of the way. Even when we were second-guessing some decisions, stressing out about this or that, worrying about our parents liking all of our unique choices... somehow Joe KNEW that everything would be perfect. His calming presence and genuine kindness made working with him and the rest of the Contagious Events team an absolute pleasure throughout the process, and we could not be happier with the end result. We contacted Contagious Events about a year out from our wedding, even though we'd done some of the heavy lifting on our own. Joe was able to jump right in and help us keep momentum with all of our plans. As a queer couple, it was important that Joe had worked with other queer weddings before, as the "traditions" seem to go out the window when there are two men walking down the aisle! Joe helped us to solidify our vision for our wedding, where we were not very sure what we wanted it to look like. He met with us repeatedly and guided us towards a fully realized concept. Furthermore, he was willing to share stories and suggestions from his wealth of experience with weddings. Never imposing an idea, Joe would provide us with clear examples, stories or ideas to help us put together a wedding that was a realization of our vision. He did research on various vendors and helped to facilitate communication with all the various moving parts in the wedding. In preparation with meetings with vendors he would suggest what we should come prepared having thought about and guided us in the types of questions that were important to ask. More importantly, he was always available when we had a random question or when we were getting overwhelmed with the process. He was flexible about where and when we met to talk about the wedding. The weekend of the wedding, Joe was a godsend. He and his team made sure that my husband and I were not at all bothered with any glitches that came up during the special day. He was always there, even though he often remained on the periphery. He ensured that the day was happy and fun, where we, as the couple, were able to focus on our love and joy rather than small hiccups in the general scheme of things. This would not be possible without Joe's meticulous attention to detail -- every single transition was planned to the minute and he made sure everyone knew what they needed to be doing and when. Contagious made our wedding the best day of our lives!

Joe and Contagious Events could not have been a better choice for my husband and I! This year has been wild to say the least, and Joe helped us along the way- giving us straightforward information of the changing pandemic landscape while still offering his support of whatever we decided to do for our ceremony. It was so helpful to know he was going to be there no matter what we chose, and he was going to make sure it worked. We ended up, as many couples have, switching gears and having a small backyard ceremony for the day, and Joe and Rebecca really upped our casual game- from the little things of finding a cart to serve drinks from after the ceremony, to making everything look beautiful, and making sure they didn't add to any of the stress during the day. They even dealt with some drama with poise and ease, and I couldn't be more thankful or impressed by them. I cannot wait to work with them again next year when we have the big party!

Joe and the Contagious Events team was the best money I spent on my wedding. I was one of those brides who didn’t think she needed a coordinator. We had an especially complicated wedding -- at a summer camp, with people spending the whole weekend camping, at an entirely DIY site. Starting months before, Joe gave me names of trustworthy vendors, walked me through every detail and offered to pick up tasks big and small. He made signs, seating charts, and even got us a beautifully decorated wooden shelf to display our guests’ labeled drinking glasses. The dining hall was put together perfectly and I didn’t have to worry about a thing all weekend long. The whole team worked tirelessly the day of to make sure everything went off without a hitch, and Joe handled every little crisis that arose all while deftly managing our sometimes impatient families. I cannot recommend Joe and his team highly enough!

We had planned a backyard wedding with our families and close friends and thought we could pull this off by ourselves…without a wedding planner. Two weeks before the date, we discovered Joe at another wedding that he had planned. He seamlessly pulled all the loose ends together, coordinated the caterer, the photographer, and the piano player, made floral arrangements on the fly, and created a décor that was specific and special to us. When he heard that we were going to have mini doughnuts instead of wedding cake, he designed and hired someone to make a movable wall to display our doughnuts. From our planning meetings to day-of, Joe was the picture of serenity no matter what was happening- bee stings, unruly guests, and late vendors included.
