We absolutely loved working with Sound Wave for our June 2022 wedding! Lani was SO sweet and responsive. She kept us up to date and organized during every step of the the planning process. Isa and Tyler were the DJs for our wedding, and they absolutely crushed it. We are still getting comments from our guests about how well they did! The vibes were immaculate, from ceremony, to cocktail hour, all the way through our last dance. We would hire Sound Wave again in a heartbeat!!

Sound Wave Events & Cesar, our DJ, were FANTASTIC to work with! Hiring them for our daughter's wedding may have been the best decision we made - and we made a lot. Our meetings with Cesar really put us at ease & helped us with SO many details, many we wouldn't have thought of - we even ended up hiring them to do lighting and that was a load off our hands. I wasn't sure about the necessity of having two DJs but turns out it made a huge difference - made things go smoothly, no gaps in music or announcements. It was perfect. Sound Wave was always quick to respond to questions and provided good suggestions as we planned everything out. They have experienced professionals who really know how to throw a super fun party. They worked diligently with our daughter & her fiancé to give them exactly what they wanted. Sound Wave delivered, 100%! It was money well spent and I highly recommend them.

Sound Wave did an incredible job DJing our June 2022 wedding. Both DJs (Isa and Tyler ) knew how to read the room and get the party going, and many of our guests have told us how great the music and dancing was. The prep work with soundwave before the wedding was easy and their team was super communicative. We exchanged a few emails / calls which helped to keep us organized. A month or so before the wedding we had a timeline planning meeting with Issa and we shared our taste in music and he executed perfectly. Immaculate vibes, highly recommend.

We had the best experience with Sound Wave Events for our wedding in September of 2022. Lani was an AMAZING coordinator throughout the whole process and made everything so easy. She responded quickly and efficiently with answers and solutions to all of my questions and concerns months before and days before our big day. JT was the BEST dj and day of wedding coordinator I could have asked for. I can’t say enough about JT, he was always present and knew what to do, when to do it and how to do it. He listened to everything my husband and I wanted and delivered with flying colors. I think that the company itself is amazing! They get back to you quickly, and there is great communication. I was asked to leave a review after our wedding and although I wanted to give them 5 stars, I could not. We had Ricky as our dj and we loved meeting with him before our wedding. We really bonded and it seemed like a great fit. Come wedding day, he asked my husband and I “Have we met before?” As if we didn’t meet with him two months prior for hours. It was not in a sarcastic or jokingly way, he really didn’t remember us. I also asked him to please accept music requests from family members if there was a song they really wanted and the feedback that I got from my family was that he would not allow that and was a little rude about it. My wedding was at a country club with a great view. Most people were outside to watch the sunset and that made him upset people weren’t dancing inside. My wedding coordinator came up to tell me that he was upset about that and it ruined the moment. It just seemed like our dj was not having a good night, and it was obvious to my husband & I, and others. Besides this, they are a great company. I hate to leave anything but 5 stars, but I really wanted to be honest. It all depends on the dj they assign you. Make sure that when you meet with them, it is a good fit. Still very appreciative for their services.

Sound Wave was a huge part in making our wedding such a success! First, we really appreciated how much time and effort Toby spent with us before the wedding to help us figure out what kind of music we wanted and when. He gave us a ton of ideas which was great because we weren’t sure what exactly we were looking for. On the day of, Toby and his crew did a great job of keeping us on time through our tight schedule and setting the tone with just the right songs. The mics and other equipment ended up being super important as well, especially with the wind! The dance party was super fun and Soundwave made great choices to keep everyone happy! Booking through Sound Wave was also great because we could get some of the other wedding rentals done (floor, lights, etc) and so the package deal just made everything easier from a vendor perspective. They were experienced with our venue so it all went super smoothly.

I had guests ask me who the DJ was because he was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard. Sound Wave Events made our party exactly what we wanted it to be. I got to select songs ahead of time, met with our DJ to discuss everything and go over plans for announcements, when to play what music, etc.. They even coordinated with our venue to use the house PA speakers to expedite setup & teardown time. The DJs were awesome, even took requests from the guests. I would definitely recommend them and/or use them again.

Everyone always mentions that guests will always talk about dancing and Sound Wave Events definitely was able to make that a reality for our wedding! From the initial consultation they make it easy to ensure the event is built for you and assist you along the way. They were incredibly helpful in giving examples of the various lighting and sound options they provide and are very upfront and honest. The staff is awesome, so friendly, easy to work with and are there for you to help with music selection and timeline setup. On the event day they arrive professionally and ready to make your event one for the hall of fame. DJ Cesar and his team were awesome on the day of our event from being able to fulfill song requests to always making sure the dance floor was alive! Would highly recommend using Sound Wave Events for any event. They made our wedding so much fun and memorable.

We had THE BEST experience with Sound Wave at our wedding! Talon and the whole team were so great during the months leading up to our event and especially the day of. They handled all of the announcements, coordinated with our other vendors, and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night. Lenny was the best DJ! After our first meeting with him I knew we had made an awesome choice. He listened to what we were looking for and was very personable. As a wedding photographer myself, I see so many different vendors. The second I got engaged, I knew I wanted to hire Soundwave for my own wedding- they truly are the best in the business. They were above and beyond anything we could have ever wanted in wedding DJ's. They were super helpful throughout the planning process: They gave song suggestions, timeline suggestions and even accommodated some special requests including combining two songs for the dance with my dad, adding a snippet of a lullaby to the end of the mother/groom dance and assisting my maid and matron of honor with a getting the music set up for their surprise rap/speech. On the wedding day, our DJ (Tallon) was prompt, professional and FUN! He helped to make sure out timeline ran smoothly and even led some line dances! We had so many people compliment the music selection at our wedding. Truly, hiring sound wave was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process! Sound Wave is amazing! We had music, photo booth and lighting all provided by them. Everyone we worked with at Sound Wave was friendly, helpful and wonderful. We chose what pictures to use as our backgrounds for our photo booth and our guests had so much fun choosing the different backgrounds. Talon- our DJ, was great to work with from our first meeting with him to the end of the night of our wedding. He made sure everything went smoothly and that the evening was fun and moved along (no awkward standing around). He's got incredible excitement that shines through and you can tell he loves what he's doing! My father in law is still raving about how much fun and what a great party it was. I was able to feel relaxed and enjoy my wedding reception thanks to Sound Wave.

We can not recommend Sound Wave Events enough! Planning a wedding isn’t always the easiest but when it came to planning this part of the day with them, from all the zoom calls to the actual day, it was nothing short of amazing! We were lucky enough to have Nate as our DJ; he was awesome! He was so knowledgeable in not only what music to play for each part of the day, but he also knew exactly how the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception should run. Oh and everyone danced! I used Sound Wave Events for multiple rentals for my wedding! We used their starlight dance floor which was absolutely beautiful and classy for my black tie wedding, and also a lit up backdrop for our band! We had so many compliments throughout the evening on both, and seriously, the dance floor MADE the night! Perfect size also for a big wedding of 225 people. Not to mention, the people with Sound Wave Events couldn't have been more helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. Could not recommend Sound Wave Events more highly!

We had a great experience with Sound Wave Events this October for our wedding. They were very helpful when it came to deciding everything we needed. We live out of state so we couldn't have the kind of hands on planning we wanted do all ourselves. The wonderful people at Sound Wave were great in communicating with us over the phone, and mostly by e-mail. They provided pictures of other events they had done in the past at the same venue, and it was great to help envision what we wanted to do for ours. We planned to do our reception outside, but when the weather took a turn for the worse just a couple days before the wedding we had to make a new plan. When I told them we needed to redo basically everything they put me in contact with the owner, and she did such a fantastic job of bouncing ideas off of us with things we had planned and different things we could do so we wouldn't lose out on our deposit, and still have a beautiful reception. I appreciate them so much for doing all of that last minuet. In the end it was all so perfect, and they setup and took down it all so we didn't have to do the work. I HIGHLY recommend Sound Wave for whatever event you are planning, as we had the best experience with them. I also recommend getting the photobooth because those pictures are a million laughs. Kristin from Sound Wave was so great to work with. She made the whole process so easy and stress free! Shawn was our DJ and he was awesome to work with. We met with him a couple weeks before the wedding to finalize the music and timeline for the reception. It was really easy and made us feel so comfortable about the process. Shawn was amazing at the wedding as well. He played all the right music to keep people on the dance floor and was really fun yet professional. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience. It was amazing!!! And then she danced the rest of the night in it with everyone! It was what everybody was talking about after the wedding! Helen and Zach from Sound Waves did an amazing job DJing at our wedding. It was nice because we got to meet with Helen prior to the wedding, get to know here and talk about the vision we had for our wedding. Her and Zach followed the timeline we made to a tee! Every song was played on time, and they had almost everyone on the dance floor all night which was very important to us. They worked well as a team and made our night very special. Sound Waves also does lighting and they added the perfect touch to our venue with their bistro lights and canopy lights that encompassed our dance floor and made it the place where people wanted to be! I would totally recommend them for a wedding!

They were so amazing to work with, and Carly was so good about checking in often and making sure all the little details were taken care of. The best thing about this company is their attention to detail. They do more than DJ, they really help the flow of the entire wedding and made it run very smoothly. Our DJ, Patrick, was so funny and had the guests entertained from the moment the wedding started. They also provided our uplighting and twinkle lighting, which really helped set the mood of the event, and they installed them all themselves. This company was a bit more expensive than others, but SOOO well worth it. I would recommend anyone use Sound Wave for any event ever!!

Soundwave events made our day! We hired them for our wedding and I don’t think it would have been the same without them. Talon was our D.J. and he coordinated events throughout the evening for my husband and I. He kept everything on track and always helped when I needed something. Our most complimented aspect of our wedding was our DJ (talon). Talon was phenomenal with helping me put together a surprise for my vows. The other DJ there kept people dancing until the very end; he kept the energy high. We also used them for a photo both which was amazing The staff was super communicative as we booked them out well before a year of the date. With the environment we are in with social distancing and not really knowing what this new "normal" is, they made our daughters Graduation party so much fun!! Wow! Sound Waves made our wedding amazing! Our daughter got married on 9/9/17 and Talon and Austin made it all the way out to Wilder for our big event. The wedding was a very large event and we had close to 500 guests. Talon and Austin brought enough speakers that everyone was able to hear the ceremony (even though it was outside). Talon listened to everything that our bride and groom wanted and played the perfect songs....even the U 0f I fight song! Both men were so kind and helpful and made our event so amazing! The dance floor was literally packed the entire night. We had rave reviews from our guest about the DJ's and the wedding has been coined "the wedding of the century." Talon and Austin were so fun and at a point in the evening both the bride and groom played DJ. It was an amazing night that was even better because of Talon and Austin! If you have an event, if you choose Sound Waves, you will be nothing but thrilled with their service!! Thanks Talon and Austin for making our daughter's wedding a truly magical night!!

You can't have an amazing wedding and reception without a great DJ!!! All I have to say is Sound Wave Music was worth every penny! From the start Kristin was basically my own personal wedding planner. Thank goodness for her helpful tips! The reception was a blast! We danced the night away with our awesome DJ Steve! Steve kept the party going and was able to find all the music that we wanted. We were a tricky wedding and needed a lot of spanish music due to our bilingual wedding. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. This company is the real deal!

Sound Wave did an incredible job at our wedding. Last minute, the venue dropped the bomb on us that we couldn't stake a tent, and Sound Wave came through with an awesome and unique shade structure that worked perfectly. We also used them for DJ services during the dinner and sound for our ceremony and both parts of the night went so smoothly. We knew that having technical issues during speeches would be such a bummer (and we've seen this happen at other weddings and ruin the vibe) so it was worth having this team there to make sure everything was taken care of! She even sent me emails about all sorts of wedding things and vendors/photographers etc.. She was a huge help to me! I also loved their office. Their consultation room was so fun and I loved the CD glass table top! Great space! Corden, was my DJ and was excellent!! He met with me several different times to talk about the big night and was a joy to work with as well. Our first one on one meeting was over 1.5 hours and he never made me feel like I was taking up too much of his time. At the wedding, he played all of the songs that I wanted and it was the best night ever! I can't thank them enough!

My business has used Sound Wave for a photo booth for our annual anniversary party. We have about 500 guests that attend, and they have definitely brought a lot of fun to our parties. They were very easy to work with in planning our design, and picking what our preferences are. I even worked with a few different employees and I never felt like I had to start over. My husband and I had three venue changes before our wedding. Soundwave was very flexible with all the changes and always promised us that wherever we had our wedding, they would be there. Our ceremony ended up being in a backyard and our reception was across the street in a shop. Our DJ Nick Malone was nothing less than excellent. He was able to set for our ceremony and also set up across the street with no hesitancy. Our guests at the reception were not much for dancing (as we had yard games and other activities) I was really nervous that nobody would dance. Nick kept the party alive, when nobody was dancing he was out there busting a move all by himself, which brought more people to the dance floor. Nick checked in with me throughout the night to make sure the volume levels were okay and if I wanted to change or add anything to the timeline last minute. Nick and his assistant made our ceremony and reception perfect.

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and used Sound Wave to set up our dance floor and outdoor lighting. Originally, we were hesitant to even have them set up the lights over the lawn, because it stays so light in Boise during the summer; however, we're so glad we decided to do it! Even though the lights were only needed for an hour or so, they were still so beautiful! It made everything look very classy and just gorgeous! Our introduction to Sound Waves came through our wedding planner who had recommended them for our event. Given that we were temporarily living in Santa Rosa California, we were unable to meet with a representative of Sound Waves in person. So instead, the company and our planner arranged a phone meeting to discuss our wedding. The discussion would be held with Carley the client coordinator and also with Talon, who was our assigned DJ. Our first individual conversations with them over the phone were absolutely delightful. Carley is an extraordinarily sweet person, and genuinely cares about the individual needs of her clients. She was so attentive in her arrangements as well as the several conversations leading up to our wedding. As to our DJ, Talon, the best way I can put it is that this man was meant for his job title. You can tell he is a natural talent, knowing how to manage a crowd with ease and bring excitement to any event. The music during the ceremony was flawless and his ability to gauge the crowd during the reception kept the party going and our guests dancing until the end of our wedding. Several of our guests heaped compliments upon Talon and his assistant, delighting in the choice of music and the high energy he brought to the night. During our first conversation, Talon implored me to just relax, enjoy our wedding, and let him, our planner, and our other vendors take care of everything. Talon, you did that and so much more. I cannot even begin to explain how impressed we were with Sound Waves, and so grateful for their thoughtfulness and professionalism. It it also worth noting that we had a unexpected, last minute venue change due to incremental weather. Sound Waves went absolutely above and beyond in this crisis, accommodating this change without hesitation. They were beyond helpful and did not treat this last minute change as an inconvenience. To any bride and groom looking for a company that will make their reception completely thrilling and stress free, you needn't look any further than here. We absolutely loved working with Soundwave as our DJ and for our photobooth. We had attended a few weddings that Soundwave was at, and always appreciated their professionalism and the energy their DJ's brought to the party. I had a wonderful experience with sound wave events. As a high school senior, I worked with them to DJ our small high school prom. They were wonderful in keeping me up to date on what was happening as well as making sure that the needs of our students came first. They are super easy to talk to and always responded right away to my questions. During the dance the DJs were personable without completely taking over the event (as I have seen some do). My husband and I are so glad we did our research and hired Soundwave as our DJs for our wedding. After we came across their website, it was an easy decision to make. Every review we found for their company was beyond positive—and after our first meeting with Zach, we could see why. Soundwave as a company exudes professionalism—the minute you step into their building you see they take their job seriously. After speaking with Zach we had no doubt we wanted to hire them for our day. The best part of Soundwave is they not only take care of their job as a DJ, they also act as virtual wedding planners which is great if—like us—a traditional wedding planner just isn’t in your budget. Soundwave helped us plan out our wedding from start to finish. I pride myself on being a pretty organized person, but having never organized a wedding before I was surprised by how much I was forgetting. Our DJs Zach and Kristin—who is also an owner of the company and completely fabulous—pointed out decisions we still needed to make, while offering advice and making us feel confident every step of the way. We got so much positive feedback about Kristin and Zach at our wedding. The guests loved them! It was really important to us that people felt comfortable dancing, and with Soundwave we had nothing to worry about. They were super professional, fun, and incredibly efficient. We had some issues with our venue and I was blown away by how Kristin and Zach went above and beyond what their roles entailed by putting out small fires for us left and right. They were AMAZING. They were also charismatic and fun to be around—they handled a jam-packed schedule from us (including a shoe game, a ton of speeches in a short amount of time, and a few crazy family traditions on the dance floor, and a sparkler send-off) and still managed to keep the vibe relaxed and casual. Our wedding was truly made by Soundwave. In addition to hiring Soundwave as our DJs, we also used them for a Photobooth. Although this wasn’t initially in our budget, Soundwave worked with us on the cost and we got a great deal around the holidays by booking early. We are so glad we did! Our guests loved the Photobooth, and we love the photo album Soundwave provided us post-wedding. It was a great memory to look over the next day, and all of our friends and family have loved flipping through it! We keep it as a coffee table book and look at it all the time even though we still haven’t ordered an official wedding album. (One day!) This review was long-winded, but they deserve so much more! You really shouldn’t consider anyone else but Soundwave—I can’t imagine any other company caring about our wedding they way Soundwave did. They were amazing from start to finish, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made for our big day!

I was a little hesitant about Sound Wave at first as I figured I could just plug my phone into a speaker and turn on Spotify and be good. But then I met with Sound Wave and am I so glad I did! I knew from the start that Kristin, and our DJ Talon, were going to be worth the investment. They acted as half wedding planner, half DJ. I was able to get so many cool add ons like a dance floor, sparkler exit, and even draping and lighting! Talon was the most amazing guy to work with and I even had a couple of my guests come up to me and say how fun the DJ was. While living in Phoenix we were not able to meet Carly and her team rather communicate via email. Soundwaves is Fantastic. My husband and I had our reception in the Boise Train Depot. The structure of the space makes the acoustics very tricky but soundwaves did an excellent job making sure the music was neither too loud or too soft. I worked a wedding with Lenny and Jenson last weekend (I was the wedding coordinator). I have to tell you how amazing they were. We first met with Corden and he explained about their company and everything they had to offer. Although it was over our budget we decided to use them for our wedding. BEST DECISION EVER. The entire team at Sound Wave is amazing!!! Cydney, aka the "bride's best friend" is incredible. She helped me out with planning and responded RIGHT AWAY with any questions that I had. She truly cares about making your wedding planning and day of your wedding as stress free as possible and goes above and beyond. We were so excited when we found out that Corden was going to be our dj along with his assistant! Corden is such a talented and positive person and really cares about making your wedding day the best day ever, not only for the Bride and Groom but for the guests as well. During our wedding we had so many different guests coming up to us saying your Dj's are the coolest people ever!! Corden not only takes the time to interact with guests but also checked up on us throughout the day to make sure that we weren't stressed and enjoying our day. Last Saturday, the love of my life and I got married in front of 175 of our most favorite people (Sound Wave Music's owners Kristin & Adam included) and it was absolutely the party of the year in Boise, Idaho. I was one of those brides that from the beginning insisted that I did not want a DJ. For some reason, in my mind, I imagined all DJ's to be "cheesy" and "tacky", playing mainly what they wanted. But even so, my wedding planner insisted that I meet with SoundWave, and I am so happy I did!!! They made me realize that a DJ's job in not just playing music - DJ's help create the atmosphere, manage the flow of the wedding, help with a timeline, get people dancing, MC, make announcements, etc.. We met with our DJ Toby twice before the wedding. He helped create our timeline, spent time to get to know Brian and I, and asked a ton of questions to make sure that he understood the vision of our wedding, our song preferences, etc. They had us use a online song request website to make a list of all the songs we wanted to play. Kristin and Toby were both great at suggesting songs, giving advice and answering our million questions. We had a ton of compliments from our guests on how much they loved our DJ's Toby and Helen. They were classy, funny, kind and truly felt like friends. The dance floor was packed all night! Something I never imagined happening. I cannot say enough good things about Soundwave. They also provided the lighting for our venue, which was gorgeous! I highly recommend them for lighting services as well. We used amber up-lights for our reception in the Boise Train Depot. IT WAS STUNNING!

I hear about these guys a little through the grapevine with the block party dj truck. We had them come out for my little boy turning 6 and not getting to have a birthday party. My now wife and I got married on November 2nd, 2018 and it wouldn’t have been possible without Soundwave. Most people say that to describe how amazing of a job they did, but at our wedding, it literally wouldn’t have been possible without them. We had our officiant not show up due to unfortunate events, and this is where soundwave comes in to save the day. While we were in painc trying to figure out if our officiant was just running late or flat out not showing up, Talon was there to comfort my wife and keep her as calm and collected as he could. As we are pushing 4:45pm, with a 4:30pm start time, we still had no clue where our officiant was. At this point, absolutely everyone was starting to question why the wedding was being delayed and so were we. We had zero preperation for our officiant not showing up, because she did not let us know where she was, or most importantly, that she was flat out not going to show up. Talon continued to problem solve as best as he could, and this is where the biggest turning point in the wedding starts. Talon’s assistant DJ, Isa, came over after speaking with Talon and let us know he was going to be taking over as the officiant. Now, in any other circumstance I would have been freaking out, but with his confidence and eagerness to help, it put both our worries aside. To say the least, Isa and soundwave easily saved our wedding and for that we will be forever grateful. Isa lead an AMAZINGLY beautiful ceremony with only 5 mins to prepare himself. It turned out to be, by far, a perfect night and it all started there. Thank you for saving the best day of our lives, it couldn’t have been done without you guys. Now Talon, what an amazing person who brings energy, laughter, and excitement to the party! One of the many things that stood out to us, was how organized and adaptive he was in every situation. He made everything run extremely smooth on our timeline, but also turned last minute ideas into something that had seemed planned for months! He brought the party to life, and did such an amazing job hosting the entire night. When planning for our wedding we had no idea where to start when it came to DJ’s, but we had heard about soundwave. From the begging of the process with soundwave, we immediately felt a connection with EVERY person that is apart of the company! We would not have wanted a better DJ or company hosting our wedding. The kids danced their butts off to great age appropriate music for 30 mins and they were exhausted when they were done. Great music selection. Really knew how to get the “crowd” pumping. I put crowd in quotes because this was during social distancing lol. Deejay was great and his partner was great too. They were interactive with the group. I had to knock off a star because the communication for the day of the event...was not good. I had a few questions that I forgot to ask, so the day of the event came...I called and left a couple voicemails and did not receive a call back. Fortunately I knew someone who worked for this company and reached out him to answer my questions. The next time I heard from the company was to tell me they were on their way for the event-it wasn’t to address my questions either. That incident could very well have been a fluke-who knows what’s was going on behind the scenes. I would definitely use this company again and would refer them to others.
