If you like a smaller venue, the parking is great, acoustics excellent. Plus they have food and alcohol. Also, all ages.

This year Borah was fortunate enough to hold their Prom at the Knitting Factory after 3 years of cancellations and rebooking issues due to Covid-19. THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT! Andrea was fantastic to work with and helped ensure a smooth and successful night for our students. She was so helpful and provided above and beyond assistance for myself as a novice student council advisor. There is, with out a doubt, no better venue in Boise for high school proms. We feel so lucky we were able to snag this much desired space and even luckier to have had Andrea as our go to person.
Nicole Hardwick
Knitting factory was such a great intimate venue! Options for floor or table seating. If you are at the table level, there were also screens to help you see the stage. Able to see Less than Jake and Bowling for Soup come through Boise.
Ricardo Del Valle Ortega
Had an amazing time at the knitting factory yesterday Cosmic Crepes was there and they where absolutely amazing.

Was there for Bishs RV Xmas party! Staff was friendly! Bartenders, excellent! Drinks tasted great! Overall, it was a great time!

My favorite venue for a concert!! I’ve never been to such a clean concert venue. The staff are generally very friendly and make it a welcoming atmosphere. I would prefer to go to most concerts here. Drinks are $$$$$$ but that’s not unexpected.
Claire A
Nice venue to go see a band and have a drink. Getting through the scanner and bag check was done quickly and without the staff being grouchy or having an attitude. They were actually friendly! Venue appeared clean. Sound system good. Would go back again.

Small and quaint place to watch an intimate show. I came from LA for the first time to Boise to see Perfume Genious and it was a great show, a bit of feedback noise at first but thag might have been the sound peeps fault.
Jenifer Howerton
Andrea and her team at The Knitting Factory in Boise, ID are AMAZING! We did back to back events with them and they did such a great job! Easy and great to work with. Recommendations for bands and florists were spot on as well. I highly recommend booking your event there!

Looking for the best venue in Boise to host a private company event? Look no further! Andrea is the best venue event coordinator I have ever worked with! I shared my vision, and she took it to the next level! AND within budget! We had a company event that our employees will never forget. Thank you Knitting Factory team!!!
Michael Henderson
Fantastic venue! Loved The Midnight concert on 9/26/22!
Adam Decker
Great sound and sightlines but still utterly ridiculous having to go through TSA to get in the door.
Shannon Shelby
The Earthgang concert was so fire last night! 🔥 Their opener, Zero, was also phenomenal! Best show I've been too in a long time. If you weren't there, you definitely missed out. …
Chase Wilkerson
I had never been to a show here where they closed off the area by the bar for VIP and the entire upstairs, not sure if I like that setup. Alluvial, car bomb, and Animals As Leaders put on a great show though!

Checked out the knitting Factory for a comedy show. The seating was great, awesome drinks from the bar and the location is excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to future shows here.

We hosted our company's Christmas party here. It was beyond amazing experience from the planning to the execution. Andrea Lucas is hands down one of the best party planners in the valley and made everything easy for me. The staff was friendly and kept everyone's drinks full. Dinner was perfect and they even catered to certain dietary restrictions we had in our group.
We highly recommend the Knitting Factory in Boise for company events and we are looking forward to hosting our company events here in the future.

Literally only posting this review because of a wonderful staff member, Kayla. I’ve been coming to the Knit for 10+ years and have had nasty-mean experiences with female staff members in regards to my outfit. They have gone so far as to pluck me from the crowd and demand I leave the venue unless I can produce a new outfit on hand because my shorts were too short or I had a wardrobe malfunction and a strap snapped. Absolutely humiliating. I attended a show on Feb 17 and had my chain strap snap in the middle of the show. I was properly covered underneath my top but I was instantly put on edge waiting for the tap on my shoulder from a stern faced female staff eager to shame and boot me out. Instead Kayla found me, she offered to get me a paper clip to chain my strap back together, was incredibly kind and helpful. A simple gesture from her made my entire night, wish she could train all the staff for those situations.

It's a great place for concerts because it's a small intimate type of venue. And it's a lot of fun and they have some good bands play there.

1st time here. ADA Access thru Parallel Bar & Grill. We entered through an adjoining door into the balcony. Not crowded, taken to our table, restrooms, bar/grill & Merch area all located same floor. Great access. No shoving people, no standing in line for a beer, no standing outside in line in the elements. Our table, seated 4, not a fan for tall bar seats. Somewhat difficult to sit on. Acoustics we're great. Loved Theory of a Deadman!!
Best venue to see a concert. We were smart to take an Uber, didn't have to deal with downtown "premium parking.
One more thing. I walk with a cane. I had called the venue to inquire of ADA Access & parking. Spoke with pleasant guy, can't remember name, that gave me directions via Parallel.
A BIG shout out to all of their crew. Great service and professional.
Thank you Knitting Factory for a ROCK'N time seeing Theory of a Deadman in concert.

This place is the place to be. The staff is amazing and always willing to help, they provide safety structure and a good time all at once. You're guaranteed to have a blast when you go to this venue.
Michelle Cliett
We attended the Seether concert on July 30 2018. It was our first time going there and I have to say it was an awesome concert. It was a little crowded but well worth it and we will most definitely be going back to see future events! The only thing the drinks are a little pricey..
Melissa Allen
This weekend was my first time at the knitting factory, awesome experience. Daniella was our waitress for GA, she was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, she checked on us frequently kept our drinks coming, we didn't have to leave our spot to get a drink. Will definitely be coming back.
Hannah Tucker
This place is so cute! Been to a lot of concert venues and this one easily became one of my favorites. There isn't a bad view in there anywhere. Drinks are medium on pricing, not too bad like vegas but not 'cheap' either. They had great sound equipment and lighting, you won't have a bad time here, thats for sure. Not from Boise but will gladly travel the 8 hours from MT to go there again!!!!
Julius Lynch
Great place to host an event. The staff was kind and helpful. Had a great time.
Casey
Prong, Obituary, and Black Label Society were awesomo! I just can't believe the Knitting Factory removed the tables by the bar. Us old guys need to sit after standing all day at work then attending a four hour concert.
david leeper
It's a fun venue. If you don't like crowds or being up close and personal with other people then this isn't for you.
Cadom Skow
Great time, much better sound quality then the revolution concert house. Too bad many bands choose not to play here just for more ticket sales.
Zack Tucker (Xtrino)
The newly remodeled Knitting Factory is great! I love what they have done with the place. Additionally, the service staff are very friendly. Shout out to @Kody who was able to upgrade me to VIP.
Azorcrochets
We had an amazing night, happy friendly staff. Bathrooms are my biggest worry and amazingly they were super clean, considering that it was a nice venue.
Michael Tooley
The knitting factory is less like a concert hall and more like a big bar with a stage. They have multiple levels to view the show from. The audio was terrific .
Michael Field
Awesome production team here super helpful team and there guy Weston House LD was a pleasure to work with.
Jovanny Ferreyra
Great place for gatherings and events. Everything's a tad overpriced for what you get. But there is a redeeming charm. Their fingersteaks were surprisingly good. Also the staff is typically amazing and very personable/genuine.
Misty N.
Went to see Nurse Blake and it was packed. My only complaint is that thr chairs were ziptied together and we were literally on top of one another and when you don't know the person next to you, that is very uncomfortable.
Misty
Randy Rogers... Soooo, I've been here for more Red Dirt shows and left with more guitar pics than I can count but it's always a good time :D
Made a few friends and promised to post them, so here goes...
Jim Kerr
Great concert, they need more staff at the bar... took way to long with only one bartender
Anastassia Joiner
Super sweet venue! Just saw Highly Suspect and it was awesome even though they didn't play my favorite song. Will absolutely go to more shows there in the future!
Micah Spicer
Great venue for smaller concerts of about 400 people. Great sound and visibility!
T.J. Frans
Small venue, great sound quality. Very slow to get you in the door....
Rebecca Fitz
We held a 350 person, black tie private event here & COULD NOT RECOMMEND IT MORE!!! Our guests could not stop raving about the event. The Knitting Factory is full service, so they take care of everything - food, bar, staff, music, lights, audiovisual, etc. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Andrea, the Special Events Manager. She is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and lovely to work with. Food was incredible (shrimp cocktail, caprese skewers, hummus platter, meatballs, yummy desserts, & more!). Staff and bartenders were great. The night went absolutely perfectly and we did not have to worry about a thing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR PRIVATE EVENTS!
Brandy Stevens
Love this place, such a great venue to see a rock concert.
Z
Alright venue. Security were being too strict making the show less enjoyable. Stage is close to the crowd and that's one of the things I liked.
Gabby Champion
Came here for the 1st time to see Last Podcast on the Left. It's a small, intimate venue and I can't imagine there's a poor spot for viewing. However, the ticket situation was a disaster. We paid roughly 150$ with no option to select a specific section. We were some of the first people in line 20 minutes before doors opened. There was no direction once we got inside other than VIP seating. We got great seats (because we were there early) but at least 30 minutes after doors opening, someone finally came over to the section to start checking tickets and told us we had to stand along the wall (fire hazard much?). After speaking to someone twice, they finally asked how much we paid and allowed us to sit after the place had mostly filled up. There was a lot of blaming on the 3rd party ticket seller and no responsibility taken on the part of the Knitting Factory. Maybe if this was the first time using Ticketmaster they could have had a game plan ahead of time to direct guests. Did we have a good time? Of course but it was just a mess and rather unpleasant until the show started. One perk was the waitress that brought us a few beers because we were crammed in our seats and wouldn't be able to get up without disrupting our neighbors. Overall, mixed feelings on the event.
Austin Hagel
Pretty cool venue. As an out of towner I enjoyed the location with the downtown attractions nearby and parking relatively easy to figure out. The sound was a little hokey, as there are a number of dead spots and excessively bright spots from the odd rooms that jut out of the main space (to the right) and the extensive metal railing (respectively). The people here are very nice and take care of artists.
Laura Perkins
Once again, I attended a concert here and was disappointed. Bar is way too close to GA area/stage. Too many people were served alcohol when they were obviously drunk (couldn't walk straight).
Alan Kirk
Snow the product was One of the best concerts I've ever seen and the venue is perfect for an intimate and all around amazing concert
Hayley Martin
Awesome concert venue! My sister and I drove 7.5hrs to see one of our favorite bands play. We purchased balcony seating and had the best time! The venue is within waking distance to restaurants, bars, and hotels. This is a gem within Boise, ID. 💎 …
Carey
The drinks are pricey! 3 dollars for water, 6 for small beer, and shots start at 8. Don't plan on doing a lot of drinking unless you don't care about spending a small fortune! The staff is friendly which is a plus and the music good. Still had a fun time and we'll go back.
Elise Garcia
Such a great and intimate venue ! The staff was amazing and helped make an enjoyable night!! (Really appreciate the staff being attentive in making sure the audience was respectful towards other patrons watching the show)
Robin Dunn
This place is great. The shows are really up close & intimate. The staff are helpful. They took good care of me. Excellent time! Another unforgettable concert! Tv
Nick
Good little venue. It's in a great location to catch a show and then go downtown. Like all the local venues, it needs more water fountains. But they have good gigs and reasonable alcohol prices (mixed drinks are about the same as bars, but beer is marked up about 100%).
Korionna Mckinnon
Saw Tai Verdes there tonight, and it was a great show and venue!
Brianna Dickens
Went there to see the Offspring in June, we were taken care of very well. My dad was in crutches at the time and they gave us special seating and took care of us amazingly.
Idaho Republican Party
We held our 2022 Governor's Ball at the Knitting Factory this year, and we could not be more pleased! The staff was professional and incredible to work with, and they exceeded our expectations at every turn. Andrea was our special event coordinator, and she is one of the most experienced and fun contacts I've had when planning events! She will make sure your private events are top-tier! We couldn't recommend this venue and staff any higher, and we hope you will consider the Knitting Factory for private events and corporate retreats. Great space and offers a unique feel that your members will appreciate. 6/5 STARS!
Jennifer Jamison
I helped organize our company Christmas party for the first time, and we were lucky enough to book The Knitting Factory. It was amazing! The food and entertainment were perfect, and the staff were great to work with. We had around 200 people attend, and the venue was just the right size for us. Numerous people have told us since that it was the best Christmas party our company has put on. Thanks for a great experience!!
rob Roberts
Great venue, security and worker are alway friendly. Great shows
Sean Linn
Great small venue. Staff was very professional and I thought prices were pretty fair considering they have a captive audience. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we were able to get seating. Standing on that concrete floor to 8 hrs was too much. I don't know who decides how the shows work but we paid for vip early tickets... stood in line for an hour and half... went in for the vip part but then we had to go back outside in the cold and stand in line for another 2 hrs before we came back in to stand for the whole show. I'm 48 and that much standing in 1 place was brutal ... I won't go to another show unless I can get a seat. Other then that the experience was fantastic... BTW we went to see Blue October... sound was great
Matthew Brings
Popular music venue that sees most mid size shows coming through Boise. Drinks are available upstairs, although slightly pricy. Good floor space and easy entrances/ exits for crowds.
Brown Beard
I've seen several shows here and I'm usually impressed by the sound quality and venue staff.
Steve Cornwell
If the show isn't sold out this is a decent room. But sold out shows are rough here. Probably the case with most concert venues. But I really didn't enjoy my last visit to this room for what felt pretty over sold.
Natasha
This is such a great concert house. The staff are always friendly and chill to talk to. Misfits photo is the only photo I've taken while at a concert there, so its pretty old.
Care Wirta
fun venue with helpful security. bag check is easy and helpful as well. good artists roll through and it’s easy to connect with them in the more intimate concert house.
Courtney Peterson
Cool venue. It is a little small but I think they do a good job with the space that they have. Great music, fun vibe.
Ben LaMay
Great bar service and the sound is way better then other venues
Branden Rankin
The show we were at was great.
Pinche Vato
Love thus place!😬
So many great shows/memories 😎 …
Outlaw King
Love this place. It's laid out very well. Great environment & shows. Bartenders work fast. Always a good time here
Royce Stuart
Hard to think it has been 3 years since it was ok to party with a packed full grip of people and not think you were being evil.
Chris Hinderliter
Great concert venue in Boise. Big enough for a good crowd, but still feels like an intimate concert
Doug McFerrin
COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE VENUE AND THE SERVICE! We rented the space to shoot scenes for a short film and it was perfect. Andrea Lucas, the special events manager, went above and beyond to help everything come together without a hitch. Lighting and sound were exactly what we needed. Great communication and follow up!
Patrick VanNoy
Always a blast. It was nice to see the old place and the changes made since it was the Big Easy.
Vincent Duvall
We came to see comedy. Very funny. Josh Wolf. We were not let down. There is food and wide variety of drink options. But they would not give us a glass of water at the bar. We had to pay for bottled Also some of the employees were confused about what to do and/or inconsiderate about doing it.
The Road to racing
Great concerts but they over sell tickets here and have no room to actually enjoy the concert. Expect to be standing with no personal space.
Meghan McCaffery Perry
We recently rented out the Knitting Factory for our organization's annual fundraiser. It was incredible and exceeded our expectations. Andrea is so easy to work with - friendly, efficient, professional, and kind. The food and the facility are out of this world. We will definitely be back!
Susie Brent
Still a great venue! VIP section is a bit cramped. I was here about a month ago and someone approached us about moving to a different table so a couple could sit with their friends who hadn't bought their tickets together. There was some miscommunication from the start. When I realized we'd be getting worse seats, we declined. I guess my only suggestion is the handling of the situation and to just tell people no because we bought the seats that we did for a reason.
Pamela Knighton
Love the venue, staff and all the different genre The Knitting Factory provides. It looks fantastic after the remodel form this past year! The Knitting Factory always ROCKS!
Richard Shaeffer
Fantastic Entertainment the the blonde bass guitarist is Great the staff was really wonderful thank Y😇U...
'RocknRick" …
Jerry Luther
Small but AWESOME! Full concert experience in a smaller venue.
Aurora Rizing
Loved being a part of such a wonderful event! ❤️
Joshua Warden
This is the perfect venue. Great atmosphere and location.
Duncan
Saw Charli XCX here
Lisa Phillips
Last time I was here for Alice Cooper concert... So been a minute the venue was awesome! Great staff and BLS was amazing!!! Got a guitar pick and Zakk gave me a high five so best night ever... Oh back to the knitting factory lol... short lines at the bar, and for the women's restroom there was no wait at all bathroom was clean giving def 4 stars!
Quindaro E. Cheatham
Full service event planning is the name of the game at Knitting Factory Boise! We had a wonderful event with food, beverages, and dancing. We are so thankful for all of the staff and vendors who made this event a complete success!
Robert Bohling
Saw the Movement with Elovators and Cydways good show!
Bethany Newport (Beth)
This place is always incredible. The shows there are always fun and intense, the crowd is always fun but well-dispersed around the spacious area, and the staff are always polite and helpful. The line getting in can sometimes be a bit of a tedious wait, and the outdoor patio is always a crush with smokers (can sometimes make the line a bit difficult if the smell of smoke gets to you...) but it's always worth it!
Ivy Wells
Attended a meet & greet with band before the concert & it was handled supremely by all. It was clean with friendly attentive staff. Every spot was a good distance from the stage. The ladies' room had only 2 working stalls but the wait/line was not bad. Good food with decent prices. Was really pleased!
Mike Luna
Awesome concert was great and staff enjoyed their job!
gary t
Amazing staff great sound great drink selection.
Justus Hurtado (Kaptainjustus)
Saw both Watsky and In Flames here. Love the new open bar. Glad we can have shows here again.
Jake Matheson
Coolest venue ever. Intimate and small without being too small. I can't say enough about this setup, I've seen a good amount of concerts, but this is one of the best venues I've been to. Definitely the best in Boise. I did get 3 shots of Jameson that was $30, but otherwise awesome.
John Reagan (binaryBronco)
Nice facility for any style of show. They offer seated tables up in a balcony, as well as a seated VIP area which is nice for those who don't want to stand or want personal space. The bar prices are terrible though. $7 for a beer as of January 2018, and I'm sure the wine/liquor are probably worse. I can't stand facilities that tee off on their patrons in the concession area, but that is obviously where the facility makes their money. Lesson learned, drink beforehand if you agree with me. Sound & acoustics are good, but not spectacular. Obviously it is hard to claim there is a bad seat in the house when the capacity is only a few hundred people. I enjoy being able to attend concerts with moderately successful artists and getting a floor spot within 10ft of the stage. So access is better than in bigger cities and the Knit management does a good job of hosting mainstream artists in a smaller venue. Most artists would probably skip Boise otherwise, so I give the Knitting Factory credit for that. But the bar prices are shameless.
Tony States
It was nothing short of amazing, I took my best friend to a concert last night and he has had a stroke in the past he can't walk very well so we got there early and they let us come through the entrance first and make our way down the stairs to a table that they saved for us before they let the whole general population in!! I thought that was amazing, all the staff were very helpful and Courteous!
:) the music was awesome as well. :)
K S
We saw Shakey Graves and sat up in the balcony. The service and the drinks were great. It's too bad that it was SO LOUD. I needed to ask for earplugs. We left early because we were afraid of damaging our hearing. Wow
Dean Ray
The venue is small which makes the concerts much more intimate than performances you may be used to, and the crowds always seem to have great energy here. The staff has always been friendly in my experience, including the security staff, and overall it's a great place to catch a band in town.
Bethany Andrews
I could see this place being great for concerts since bands are mostly stationary, but it wasn't my favorite place for a drag show.
Chris Huffman
The venue itself is ok, pretty small but usually the sound quality is decent. Major gripe is that the acoustics echo back a lot of the crowd chatter so even if in the pit you hear people talking at the bar and upstairs. Otherwise we've been to 4 shows and all were great, no technical issues and had fun
Jason Appell
A little hit during the Yelawolf, Jelly Roll, and Stryggle Jennings concert but the service was very courteous and very attentive, also very good looking
Gregg Rodman
First time at this venue since it re-opened... Security was quick and painless as usual. Interior seems even more minimalistic that it previously was. Drinks appear to have gone up in price (just shy of $20 for a well rum and coke and a beer). Music sounded great (full disclosure, it was a mostly acoustic show)
Jennifer Franklin
I love the sound in this venue, and the fact that you can see your favorite bands up close. I am not a fan of the pricing for beer. I think it was $6 plus tax for a cup of beer....Maybe that's away to keep the crowd slightly sober? I do love that most shows are kid friendly, but I have yet to take my kids to a show there. I love it when I can sit up in the balcony, as I get a great up close view of the bands. I do wish they could have a staff person check the bathrooms throughout some of the longer shows, as the run out of toilet paper, towels, and are generally dirty, however that is probably no different than most concert venues. The ticket checkers and security people have also always been nice to me, but I am not a rowdy show goer. If you have the opportunity to see your favorite band here, I highly recommend it.
brian dearborn
The Knitting Factory has gotten even better since they remodeled. The Customer Service Ambassadors do a great job of checking on guests and making sure everyone is happy. The speed of service at the bar is exceptionally fast and the sound quality is vastly improved. As a lover of live music I highly recommend this venue as the best Boise concert destination!
Kyrbe Stout
I had one of the greatest experiences of my life at the knitting factory. I got to enjoy an amazing comedy show and got to meet Christopher Titus and his wife, Rachel. I had so much fun, the food was good, got to sit up in the front section of seating, and the bartenders/servers were very kind. The staff was beyond wonderful, and helped me get the most out of the experience. Thank you to the servers, management, and security teams for all you did to make sure people were happy and comfortable! My first time at the Knitting Factory was unforgettable!
The only negative was the negative people there. Those who didn't take in the full picture and enjoy the night.
Don't write negative reviews for the venue because you struggle to see the bright side. Would definitely go to other events at the knitting factory!
Jeff DeOliveira
As always, such a great venue and very intimate. We seem to meet the greatest people every time we go to a show. This time, it was another couple whom were dressed almost exactly like us.
Great service from entrance to table with several follow-ups...table 16 this time so you guys know who you are 10/13/19 @ St Paul and the Broken Bones 😊
Chris Acosta
Drove here for the Minus the Bear concert in 2017 and it's one of my favorite venues. Reminds me a lot of the 9:30 Club in D.C. except a lot cleaner. There's the GA standing area, a raised area with tables you can reserve for ordering food and drinks, the bar right behind that, and a really neat upstairs catwalk-style sitting area with open(?) tables looking down on the stage. There's another bar and a VIP area. Great view of the stage, seems like a couple to several hundred people could fit, if not more. Location is great, and is yet another awesome place in the Boise downtown scene.
Felipe Reyes
Great first experience, had lots of fun & Pop Evil was badass.
Dana Hutchins
Love what you've done with the place! We hadn't been since the remodel years ago and it looked great. Awesome show, The Suicide Girls, were easy to see and sounded terrific. I would of gave 5 stars but the fold out chairs aren't the most comfortable and are situated very close together.
Chelle
Have attended more concerts at The Knit than I can count over the last decade and a half and I've always enjoyed myself...security staff and the rest of the staff (bartenders, etc...) are always great and have never had a problem. Follow the rules and be smart and ou won't either... Will say that it would be nice to see the space opened up, more (less railings & odd ways to maneuver to the floor, etc) and a few more sets of tables & chairs. Also, the drink prices are a little ridiculous...even bottled water is highway robbery...but the venue, itself is a great little local concert hall!!
Allison Bursinger
X Ambassadors were Excellent! Venue is small for a sold out show. I say in disabled seating but my poor husband had to stand the whole time which was a bummer. I went for the band not the venue.bi personally think dude can sell out a stadium, he is that good!! 💚💜🤘 …
Cara Cagno
Love the intimate setting with awesome artists however I am disabled and the area they had set up for disabled person's was very disappointing. We were placed in a sectioned off area like sardines and you couldn't see the band at all. I ended up leaving that section and being uncomfortable but being able to enjoy the band more. Worth getting a table up top if you can snag one.
Nick Harvey (KickinPigeons)
My favorite venue in Boise. In fact I'm a big fan of every knitting factory I've visited. They are large enought to support nearly every type of concert. They are also not too big. The venue feels intimate without feeling crowded. I was able to get amazing service from the staff at the bar even when the bands were in full swing. They seem to have the whole concert experience really dialed in. All things considered the prices on food and drink are quite modest. Thanks for always providing an amazing experience.
Edrick Taylor
Went here for a concert. Very clean venue and good staff. Easy to hear everything that's going on butbnot deafeningly loud
Scotty Thompson
I heard things about this being an awful venue! Boy was I told wrong!! Easy to get in...fast and easy drinks that were not out of the scope of what you'd expect to pay at a concert. It was a sold out concert but still had room to breathe. Easy access bathrooms and Yelawolf put on a show that was straight 🔥🔥🔥 I would go again and would recommend to my friends!!
LaDonna Crumbliss
Always have a great time! Bartenders are the worst! Servers are really good. Food was great! Atmosphere really fun! Not impressed with the fact that they allow really young children to be on the floor, with drunken people who are inappropriate, people who are high, people cursing and fighting. How they get away with little kids being in a bar with live music is beyond ridiculous.
Andrew Lunt
The remodeled Knitting Factory is a big improvement over the previous venue. The venue is more open and has much better air flow, especially during the summer. My wife and I recently attended the Trampled by Turtles show. The band was great and the bar staff was friendly. However, members of the Event Staff were inconsistent with their policies and made the experience for myself and my wife unpleasant while watching the show upstairs. Twice we were asked to move, from two different spots upstairs because it was a fire safety issue. This was while others were standing in the same area and not asked to move. Later in the evening more people were standing in the same spot. Various Event Staff personnel would ask us to move while other members of the Event Staff walked by people in the same spot. This happened while people would take up seats in the upstairs reserved section with no tickets for the area. If the spots upstairs where we were singled out need to be kept clear in case of a fire, there should be signs noting such, for the patrons to see.
Matthew Ferbrache
It's a small, but awesome venue in the middle of downtown. Staff is great. The only down side is that there are no seats. It's general admission, so if you go to see a concert, prepare to stand for 4+ hours straight. There is reserved seating on the balcony level, but of course, you'll have to pay extra for that.
Jason Slade
Great place as a concert venue. Sound quality was great. Small enough that you can see the stage easily from all around. The only draw backs are the seating set up is not that comfy and depending on where you sit your line of sight might be obstructed.
Kevin Powell
Absolutely love the Knitting Factory. So much, in fact, I decided to have my wedding here! Andrea and her team went above and beyond any expectation I could have had for a private event at such an iconic spot. The remodel looks amazing, the sound system is amazing, the staff is amazing, overall anything from big time concerts to small time weddings, this place is just amazing and the staff and atmosphere is great. Couldn’t have asked for anything better and Andrea made everything so easy and things flowed so well! Thank you again for all of your time and hard work to help put my wedding together!
Keith Kofoed
Its a fine venue. Set up is awkward and its not terribly comfortable. It brings good acts but there is zero vibe or personality. Everyone clears out the second the band is done and the bar closes. It's good for what it's good for.
Kristen Lynch
I've been to two concerts at the Knitting Factory and both far exceeded my expectations. This rather smaller and more intimate venue provides a truly unique experience for concert goers. The staff was both courteous and professional, which only increased my overall experience. If you are looking for an up close and personal experience with your favorite band, and they happen to be playing at the Knitting Factory, get your tickets post haste! You will not regret it.
Pauline Jones
Nice place but upstairs has several layers of floor, so you have to be constant look at floor to make sure you don't miss the step and fall. It would be safer for the guests if they had floor lights on the steps like they have in movie theatres and airlines. Just be aware if you are upstairs.
Rilo Rangel
The place is little but if your there for the music its great!!its not like those places where u get an assigned place..its a free for all..at first the tickets were a little confusing but for general admission its all on the floor but if you want a seat and table those are the tickets behind GA which i would recommend if u feel your gonna grab food because the place does sell food and has a bar.hope the best of experience when your there
Michelle Kierstead
Small venue but it makes it more personal. I always have a great time when I see a concert here. Not a 5 star review because the drinks are spendy and the coat check is $5 a person, a little steep I feel. Even $2 would be easier to swallow.
Steve Wilsey
I haven't been since the fire last year, or was it two years ago? Either way the building burned and they remodeled, it all turned out pretty cool. All seating upstairs is now reserved vip, and some of the seating on the floor and I'm a cheap mother flipper so I just stood at the stage all night. Excited to see more shows there.
Holly Call
I really enjoy the acoustics here. They host great bands and the performances here are often amazing! Also a great place to get drinks. One gripe: not enough seating for shows. Otherwise, it's fantastic.
Earl Campbell
Fun place to see a band. Not many masks being work for such close quarters.
Kenny
So they've done some improvements in the last several years and is much more friendly. Also they've added a lot more staff so the service was really good and very friendly
Rachael merrithew
I have seen a lot of great bands here, i have always had fun, the only issue i have is it's always very hot inside during concerts. I understand when there's a lot of people in a small space that can happen. I wish they would try to cool it down somewhat.
Kimberlee Bitt
Came from Twin Falls to see Ned Ledoux and guys. It was a GREAT time. Please have them back soon!!! THANK YOU
Travis Sims
My wife and I went to see Citizen Cope after the remodel. Man does this place look good now! The only downfall is you better eat before you go. The menu sounds good; however, it's not made as described and the chicken was really dry.
Steve Underwood (Aegis Darque)
Hands down, THE BEST PLACE to watch a concert in the Treasure Valley. You often have a chance to get up close and personal with the band, and often can meet them at their merch tables as well. The sound in the venue is top notch. The food is much better than mere bar food...and the staff is always accommodating.
jeffsrawr
Steel Panther was great. Security was fine checked bags and made sure everyone was safe. Had free water available. Felt like $1 for earplugs was a slight rip off when they should be provided free so you don't damage your ears. The policies almost ruined the show. The band wanted concert goers to interact with them and the venues security tried their best to prevent it. They almost prevented people from getting on stage when the band asked for volunteers to go up. The band even told security to lacks up and not ruin the show.
Jodi Bolen
Lucas Nelson put on a fabulous show and the knitting factory staff was awesome!
Finley Butler
I've never failed to have a good time at a knit show!
Joshoa Craven
The performance was fun, the crowd polite but appropriately rowdy for the theme, staff were respectful and professional. My only complaint (if you want to call it that) was that the sound system felt overpowered for the size of the room. I would still recommend the knitting factory to others.
Isaac Torres
I've been coming to this venue for years now. I love the shows that come in..great variety. When the venue was known as "The Big Easy Concert House" they would shorten the set times of bands so they could accommodate the late night club dancers....since the "Knit" took over, the bands don't stop till they're done with their set. As it should be. I think that if there were problems before, the staff are making the venue better, no doubt about that. Keep up the good work
Eric Cetovick
Solid venue! Little pricey on tickets but that's a trend all over. Been to roughly 200 shows here.
Louie C.
This is my favorite venue in Boise! I get super excited when an artist I love comes through here because I know the concert will be an intimate experience, much more than an arena show. Also the acoustics are way better at the Knit than the Revolution.
Authmentis
I have seen bands play this venue, and have had the good fortune of playing it myself. the staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. the sound is top notch, And I am proud to have performed there. crowd was very friendly as well. excellent place to relax and enjoy having a great time with your friends seeing your favorite bands play.
Amelia Doty
Good shows come through here. Be prepared to stand the whole time and have to use elbows to keep your space.
Mitchell Harris
Love seeing Hell's Belle's at the Knitt.
Justin Palmer
The VIP section is a complete joke, but otherwise this is one of my favorite places in Boise to see a show. Not a big place by any measure, which I like, but big enough to bring us some pretty big names.
I don’t recommend seeing a “quiet” performance here. The bar is close to the stage and it is LOUD. Also, people just can’t seem to stop yapping at this place... or any decent a size venu in Boise.
BOSN
First time at Knitting Factory. We had seats in the balcony table, second row back for a bluegrass band. I found it a little hard to see over the top of the camera. Front row table in balcony would have been fine. VIP seating would probably work better. The venue is probably not the best if you want to 'see' a show, unless its a rock show and you like mosh pit. Server was attentive and facility was reasonable clean. The sound was 'ok' but not great. Shake down at the door with metal detectors. I guess we need to get used to it. Does the Morrison Center do that as well?
Danny Hodges
Great place for shows, there's a certain intimacy being able to get close to the bands even at a sold out show. Another factor is that you can check your coat for five bucks so you can go dance without having to worry.
Scott Cates
Great atmosphere and drinks!!! The bartenders made sure we always had a drink in our hand.
Kevin Ellis
Great concerts!!!!
ThatGirl208
It’s been a while since a remodel. The way the bar was smack in the middle taking up space for concert goers was always sort of inconvenient. It always felt really cramped during shows. The place isn’t bad though And the concerts are great. There was recently a fire started due to an HVAC accident. We are all hoping for a remodel that suits concert goers and the venue. Fingers crossed.
Scott Browne
My wife and I have been to 2 shows in the last several months and have been very impressed both times. They were extremely accommodating to our pregnant friend and constantly checked on us to see if we were taken care of. The sound was great and well air conditioned. We will be back in the near future. Great venue
Kyle Mosley
Awesome small venue in the heart of Downtown.

We attended the Blackberry Smoke show the other night and, of course, the band blew us away. What we didn't expect that the staff would do the same.
We met Dustin in the lounge who said he would take care of us and see to it that we had good seats. He gave us great seats and came by to check on us every half hour or so all the way through the concert. Unbelievable! This man knows customer service. Also, our server, Amber, was the same. She served us our dinner in the lounge and then would come and see if we were okay every half hour or so through the concert.
We loved the venue (more than House of Blues) and hope to maybe come back someday. The sound was great, the place was great, our seats were great and the staff went above and beyond.
The Knitting Factory made it worth the 700 some odd miles we drove from Las Vegas.
Steve Langdon
A great place to see a concert close up. Staff is great. Acoustics are great. I would give it five stars if they added another bathroom and a secondary exit for after the concert.
Devan Dillon
Had a great night out with my girl at the Knitting Factory! Great music, great drinks, friendly staff!
Trevor Espinola
Awesome venue with drinks and food, bigg enough to have a good size crowd but still small enough to have an intimate crowd feeling. Also attracts good bands and shows.
Dallin Saunders
Great venue with plenty of space. Went here for my prom dance and it was really cool! I’ve heard concerts here are great, and the balcony view is something nice, you get to see the whole stage up there
Sara Evans
Seen a few shows here and it's pretty chill. I wish they would separate the drunks and the rest of the crowd because people drinking get ridiculous most of the time and there is problems from that.
Courtney Hudnall (courtneysjewels)
Fun venue. I'd prefer some more seating options, but I understand why they don't have them. Looking forward to seeing more bands perform there, but I'll remember ear protection next time, lol.
Jon Huston
Good, intimate venue that offers quality access to some of the best band that visit Boise. Finding a spot for a show can be tough, so arrive early and stake your claim. The bathroom situation also leaves a bit to be desired, but you can survive for a few hours for a good band. Nice place to catch a show!
Zach Ashment
Andrea and the knitting factory crew went way above and beyond to transform a music venue into an intimate and engaging space for an industry professional gathering. Thanks to their efforts the RCN 2021 conference was a huge success!
christopher brown
Awesome. Balcony seating is the best.
Candace Fallis
Masks not required, Dead Sara rocked as usual! Drinks were awesome. Good time was had.
Nathan Bartlett
Seemed a little less Nazi this time. I was able to take my drink outside to vape and they didn't boot us out as soon as the show was over. This place consistently books shows, so I was stoked to see the friendliness improving! :)
Melissa Cortes
This is a great concert venue. Small enough that you don't get lost in the sea of people if you have floor seats and the Balcony tickets are a great price if you prefer to have seats.
fishermike 77
The Music always sounds great.. only thing is maybe more places to sit and get off your feet.
Tayberry55
A very nice place with outstanding staff. My daughter and I went to see Jason Nash and there was a slight mistake with our tickets and Cody was amazing. He went out of his way to make it right for us. Then after the show he came back and helped us get out an easier way since my daughter was using a knee scooter (that broke on our way there). There were a few others that helped her get to the car but I didn’t get their names. I couldn’t be more grateful to the wonderful people there. ❤️
Zane Smith
Small but good venue that features a variety of preformences. Good drinks for a decent price. I've seen several shows over the years and had a blast each time.
Lacy Sereduk
I wouldn't go there if there were another concert house but it is what it is. Here's my review:
Pro's:
They get great bands like Social Distortion and Flogging Molly
Cons:
It's dirty, the outside smoking area is too small and, last time I was there, the while smoking area was shoulder to shoulder and the flimsy little gate they set up for it's containment was not bolted down or secured so you couldn't lean against. Now, that's not exactly a problem but it becomes one if there are so many people that a person gets moved by the crowd and thinks that gate will stop her from falling and smashing her face in the concrete.
On that visit, I was one of the first to arrive for the show but probably the last person to receive their cold food orders maybe an hour after it was placed. No one wants to be eating during the main band and it really sucks to be in a bar with nothing to drink because the kitchen and staff can't coordinate on who's food order the staff is actually taking. To make up for this, they did comp one drink for myself and friend but had to go reprint the receipt when that didn't actually happen. But, at least I got my debit card back when I closed my tab. Oh wait, no I didn't.
Let's go over booking tickets.. there is only one layout image regardless of the show so, when Christopher Titus (a comedian act) came to town, you don't have a clue where you're going to end up if you buy "front row seating". For music events, you're standing downstairs and seated up. If you go with upstairs, you have a tiny table for four people to share which means whoever buys the seats first get the view against the railing and the other two people get the backs of your heads for the same price you paid. It's a pretty terrible set up.
No lay out imagery on their website and don't bother calling to ask if there will be tables brought in on the dance floor for an event because they won't answer their phone or reply to your fb message even if you're asking how you can give them even more money.
ya boi
They're typically the venue of the best touring artists in boise
potluck 00
I enjoy seeing concerts at the Knitting Factory. Not a bad seat in the house. The sound is good too. Love the variety, and the cost is reasonable. Thanks for bringing some great shows to Boise! You guys Rock!
jason rojeski
Lame acoustics, but decent close venue. Usually a good spot too watch the show!
Jeff B
I'm tired of seeing ads with ticket prices that do not include service fees. Example - Advertise price $25. However when purchased tickets they tacked on a additional service fee $7.50 per ticket. Does this bug you as well? That said, it is a nice small venue and they don't water down their drinks.
Ben Harris
A small an intimate venue located in downtown Boise, the Knitting Factory is one of the best places to see your favorite bands. The acts that play here usually aren't extremely well known, but shows still regularly sell out. At a sold out show, the venue is stacked with people, standing room only. At a show that isn't sold out, there's seating available with a full food and bar menu. These shows are much more fun to me, as they have a much more relaxed energy to them. Either way, if you like live music, the Knitting Factory is one of the best venues in Boise.
Zo Hadi
This is a great location with security being top notch!!! I feel safe that no one is going to be drunk with a gun inside here so yes security is top notch. I would definitely go here and recommend anyone this place. If you think it's Boise and you don't need this kind of security then think about the incident that happened two months ago a block from this place. Enough said.
john
Badflower concert was most excellent.
ZuBlah
It's a good sounding venue, but generally a bit too loud. Drinks are overpriced, and security is like the airport. There's a small area for concertgoers with disabilities. There is a VIP section on the balcony level (usually cost 2x GA price), reserved tables there cost more. The stage is elevated and plenty large for most groups. There is a "Mosh barrier". That prevents the crowd from getting any closer than 3 feet from stage. It's there whether ICP or Bright eyes is playing.
Heather Davis
The venue is small and they have some great shows. However, there are no seats in the main level. Everyone stands and they pack us in. It gets really hot during the show. I don't think I'm going to another show there.
Ethan Harrison
I play in the rock band The Nixon Rodeo. My experience with the Knitting Factory in Boise was outstanding. As a touring rock band, we have seen all types of venues and stage crew. The Boise Knitting Factory went above and beyond general expectations of hospitality and personal treatment. As soon as we arrived at the venue we were greeted with smiles and helpful hands. With a friendly and proficient stage crew, set up ran smoothly and we felt relaxed and comfortable so we could focus on the show ahead. The sound in the building was better than we have ever played before and even when we had vehicle issues, the staff was willing to help us out and wait throughout the night as we called for maintenance and then even meeting us back at the venue early the next day to aid once again. The Boise Knitting Factory is definitely our new favorite venue and can't wait to come back
Annette Guidry
I go here only if there is a very good musician coming to Knitting Factory. My dismay comes with the virtually no seating arrangement, I suppose they sell more tickets if everyone is standing 2 to 3 hours of the show. There are chairs on the upper balcony area, quickly taken unless you are an early bird-- this means you feel less up-front energy from the musician. Also, a selfish nicotine addict lit up a disgusting cigarette during the last show, Security never came around and everyone was left to breathe it in as we were crowded and could barely move. Get a seat very early and plan to be there 3 hours+ if you are short, otherwise your view will be blocked by all the standing people! Only very good musicians make it worth your time to attend a show here..
Julie Fletcher
Absolutely loved the experience here 💖 definitely will come back for more shows 😁 …
chad c
So this time it was Dorothy same kind of short that's not a responsibility of The vineyards but sure is awesome the waitress was nice and I will see the knittingq1 factory in October
Ghostapha Reider
Just a fun venue for music events!
Jen B.
Music was mixed perfectly.
Really cool environment
Nice staff
Katie Putnam
Great venue for music, speakers, comedy shows!
Ben Moore
It's a small venue that has some decent acts come through from time to time. Atmosphere and decor, it's nothing fancy by any stretch but you can sure get close to the acts. I've never had an issue with the staff personally.
molly raymond
Such a cool venue and the staff is so welcoming, kind and really creates a fun environment! Every spot is good to see the stage and can’t wait to be back ! Great job last night guys
kingcrab0
The Knit is a decent concert house, but it could be better. Their VIP prices are a bit much and their bar prices are outrageous. It does have some good concerts sometimes. I mean, it's good enough to catch concerts at.
Cody Fackrell
It's fun. Nice sound system.
ussboisenative
On several trips to The Knit to see several great bands rock the place, I've never been disappointed with the sound, the show or the security. Getting in via the lounge with a few beers and some bar food beforehand is always a great start to what is sure to be a great experience.
To the staff, booking agents bringing in great talent, and the management that makes this one of the best venues in Boise & my personal fave. THANK YOU KFB!
Jennifer Yonker
For the most part it's cool, a little small. They always run out of ciders... was freezing last night for the fights. But it's usually hot during concerts.. can't win... lol good sound though!
Chris sigrist
For music shows the staff is very friendly. The bar service is great and not over price. The Bar tenders are able to make most drinks. There is also the coat check.
Stephen England
We're out-of-towners. When we were making plans for our October vacation, I saw Sleater-Kinney was play in Boise at the Knitting Factory. The venue at the time was meaningless. What a pleasant surprise! Hard to imagine there's a bad seat in the house. Great sound, drinks at a reasonable price, and our server Jasmine didn't drop a stitch. Thoroughly enjoyable place to listen to some music.
Kelly Patterson
I accompanied my brother who needs special arrangements being confined to a wheelchair. I went to the KF website for contact info... Found the specific contact info and inquired as to the accommodations. The management staff returned my email promptly with everything all set up. We had a great time and all the staff were very helpful. My kids have been here many times and always have great reviews. Five stars to the management and staff. Keep up the good work!
Marissa Gonzales
I’ve always liked this place. Good sound quality. Intimate setting. Security has always been pretty good and nice. Drinks are priced a little high. Never had a bad time here.
Bryan Bond
Had a great time here. Sometimes the security is a bit rude but other than that I typically enjoy coming to this venue.
Justin Akkerman
I couldn't ask for a more professional staff that's so committed to their community. Patrice has been an excellent host who embodies what it means to be an active, engaged member of the Treasure Valley. Their event space is perfect for galas, balls, weddings, and all sorts of events. I'm happy to tell all my friends and clients about the Knitting Factory.
Heather N
Love the music they have here, security is always a pain to get through, makes lines take forever. A little cramped if the performer is well known. Great drinks.
Jason Scott
Great downtown live entertainment venue. Seating options do vary from show to show. Amazing sound. I got to see Austin Jenkins and the Cadillac Three in August.
Sora McCurry
This is my favorite place to attend a concert. It's a very intimate setting and good sound if you're upstairs. Bathrooms are clean for the number of people it serves and drink service is good.
Krissy Cary
We always have a good time at "The Knitt"
I can say that I've been to the knitt at least 30× for all of the top Heavy metal concerts.
🤘🤘
My only gripe is the drink prices.
YIKERS‼️
Still a great place
A Google User
I love coming to concerts here. Apparently they had a fire recently and had to renovate and i haven't been there since, but they have a wide array of events/concerts here. I love the vibe of this place.
Matthew Milligan
Great venue. Good acoustics. You can stand anywhere downstairs and still see performers well. It's located near great pregame bars
M Johanna Castleton
Attended a concert at this venue and loved it. It was a little crowded and once you were in place, you didn't want to move or go to the bathroom or get at refill, as you could not get back to your friends very easily.
T Duda
This was my first concert in Boise. I travel everywhere for reggae shows and festivals but Salt Lake has the best reggae scene ive seen (home town) but going to see Stick Figure/Iya Terra at the Knitting Factory, wow! So impressed with the vibe there. Staff/security were very nice and professional, drinks were good, sound was excellent. The show was sold out but we had no problems getting near the front with room to dance! And the Boise crowd brought it. We felt at home, super good positive vibe and made lots of new friends. Ppl in Boise are really nice and welcoming
Jessica hale
One of my favorite event houses. Never had a bad experience in all 8 times i have been there.
James French
First time at knitting factory writing review early so excited to see Kathleen madigan. She is one funny lady. Hoping to get in third row. Did I say I'm really excited to see this woman do her routine. Hell yeah I am
Jennifer Townsend
I was here as part of the treefort music festival. Good acoustics, good sound guy, nice space, and I really enjoyed the music. The drink options were somewhat lacking, but this is a great venue.
Lael Woosley
We hit The Knit fairly often. We have seen everyone from Eddie Money to Megadeth and Down! We have tickets to upcoming events already. An intimate venue, the stage is mostly easy to see from just about anywhere. The girls behind the bar are awesome!
Jasmine Wheaton
Love seeing shows at the Knit. Security is friendly and does a good job of keeping everyone safe. Decent drink prices and the upstairs is pretty awesome.
Greg Simmons
Lots of great reasonably priced shows at this venue. People can complain about space and annoying staff, but it's not an easy job. I've been to lots of shows here and I'm gonna keep on going.
Kasey Leavitt
Great place to go for concerts! Friendly staff! Fun atmosphere! Full kitchen too! The burgers are pretty darn good.
Brian Torres
Small but very bass heavy
Scott Henery
Just went and saw Corrosion of Conformity. Super show and sound. Skybox is the only way to go. I just love this venue. Gets so much music out there for the treasure valley.
Tina Duddleston
Went with my best friend to the pink Floyd laser light show Sunday, 2nd time at this venue had fantastic floor seats and everyone was super friendly will go back if another cool show comes
Glen Ready Uncensored
They draw some good bands. Drinks are pricey and kind of dingy, but not even as close to dingy as The DeepHo in SLC so it gets the four star benefit thanks to the friendly staff.
Michael Ball
Great small venue. Great view of the stage almost anywhere you are. It is a small location, so expect to be sardined for a popular show. It is still good though.
Vince Swallow
This place is awesome. I had a terrible day of travel, and I had called and spoke to Gina. She pretty much made my journey so smooth. This place has great sound, great staff, and very cool clientele. Worth the trip. Thanks again Gina for the help.
Ovvie Ovvie
Small venue, very personal. Would love to go again, probably would get balcony seats in the future. Good menu for quick eats, full bar.
Joshua Holdridge
Looks pretty similar to it's former self but the audio equipment felt like it was upgraded during the remodel. Been seeing bands here for over 15 years now and I'll definitely be back in the future!
P. Wirta
The Ted Nugent concert was the first time my wife and I have been to the Knitting Factory and it was stellar. Dustin was very helpful and our waitress was available like clockwork. Not a bad venue to watch your favorite group, all seats and the GA allow for a great show. We plan to go back soon. Thanks KF!
Hoard
Concerts are loud; loud is good. Knitting Factory goes a bit too far though. It's so loud it borders on distortion. Every time I've went the instrumentals overpower the vocals. Assuming you know the vocals by heart it's not a big deal but trying to listen to a new band when you can't understand/hear what they are saying isn't enjoyable.
Cox Crew Reviews
Knitting factory has upgraded their dance floor with 2 levels near the main stage and still has the vip balcony. One of my favorite venues in Idaho for concerts!!!parking sucks & can be expensive since it's all downtown parking
Faye Hodson
Such a cool venue!
W'ynter Williams
Fun but small. I had a blast listening to bands here. Not very safe for little children though as you are basically standing or sitting very close together.
Mary Duffy
Tonight was my first knit boise show and hell it was worth every penny if not more. Servers brought drinks and food before the start and served the bill before the end. No distraction. Rad crowd. Will be back
Amanda Figueroa
They have great dances but its HOT!! hard to breath with no seating. I've been for other events and it's not this bad.
Graden Neal
They run a slick operation. Great coat check service. Thank you. Fantastic sound quality. I love being on the dance floor. Great bartenders.
Marie Johnson
Great ventilation. The up stairs Is regulated so you don't pay to have a great spot then have a general admit come stand in your way. Food is available.
TheHolydiver35
Most Excellent venue, reminds me of the Blacksheep just slightly bigger
Tom Legerski
Aussie punk is alive and awesome
Michael X
Fun shows roll through here, but the security staff are pretty rude to alot of people. I highly suggest avoiding any sort of issue with them or they will try and have you thrown out or arrested for zero reason. Not speaking from experience, just observations from the last twenty or more shows I've been to there.
Bentley & Gigee Lindsley
Went to see Blacktop Mojo.
I enjoyed the concert. Just seemed like it dragged on....3 other opening acts before the main concert. Just too long. Was ready to exit after the 2nd opening act
Cae Odell
A lot of fun! Venues size is a bit of a struggle sometimes, bartenders give you healthy portions of booze, and artists are always great!
Kerry Lindorfer
Had a most wonderful time when Victor Wooten played last week. Staff were awesome! I lost a pair of gloves. Security, namely Leif, went out of his way to get back to me when they were found. Thanks! Keep rocking
Jonathan Ross
Great staff! Super personal atmosphere. It doesn't get any better!
Ryan D
Great place to see a concert. The area surrounding has great food and shopping.
Isabel Land
I love attending concerts here. I do wish they would have some rules regarding mosh pits and crowd surfing because it would help make it so people don't get hurt.
Dusty Hill
My wife and I traveled up from Utah to see Blackberry Smoke. We were treated with thee upmost respect by your entire staff, they catered to all our needs and were very professional. Great venue, great food and grog and we will be traveling up again soon.
A special thank you to Dustin and Amber for everything kudo's.
Dusty and Swiffer
Ross Merritt
Nice facility but poor planning left a lot of people lined up outside past when the show started.
Steve O
I was excited to see Strange music. They put on a great show. The acoustics of the building were not great. V.I.P. stole the show.
zuphzuph (zuphzuph)
Went for a VR event awhile ago. Nice small layout that I'm sure is enjoyable for concerts. Drinks are served during every event.
jeremy jarrad
Nice up close and personal style concert venue
Alex Thomas
Keep in mind there in NO REENTRY... even if you purchase another ticket. So, if you have everything prepared and ready to go before you enter... you're good. But if you have a craving for some delicious STIL ice cream to take a break from Salsa dancing... you're SOL. I get it... they want you to purchase everything inside because they are a venue... but if you don't serve the best ice cream around, which is a block away... don't trap us inside. Lo siento, I'm a Gordito. Would be 4 stars if the No Reentry rule gets modified.
Salsa lessons were ok. Tons of people for Salsa night. Would definitely go again, but getting Ice Cream first.
William Simmons
Love this venue. Always a great place for concerts. Food is decent and the alcohol isn't too badly priced.
Jorge Castilleja
Its a great venue concerts. Good security great servers been long time it was called Big Easy But Knitting Factory is the new Era
emylie schleis
Dear Dustin the Security Man in VIP.
You are THE BEST. You keep us safe, and happy. Truly, thank you so much. We really appreciate all you do.
And Becky is cool too.
Dion Shaddy
It was a amazing as every time I have gone five star.
Jacob Lugaresi
I went here for a concert once and it was nice. the space was fair and the bathrooms were adequately taken care of compared to other places.
Christian Hill
Dragonforce concert was amazing, staff was pretty nice overall
Anthony Fisher
The Knitting Factory always puts on an amazing show with great production and unbeatable sound. The RL Grime show on Jan 29th, 2015 had the venue packed on a Wednesday. Excited to see future shows and the future of local music within the venue.
Joey Dunbar
No flow toys at and electronic music show....booooooooo....but other than that great time friendly staff
Bobby Dee Keys
Our first time at the Knitting Factory.. WOW!!! What an Awesome Venue, not to mention the incredible Crew they have working to take care of the musicians and their equipment... Priceless!!
Mike Taylor
The Breeders were amazing and I have much respect for this great band. IF at anytime you have a chance: see them, you will be happy you did so!!
Amanda Wood
No lines for drinks or bathroom breaks. Great bartenders and great shows.
Kris Lloyd
Place is legit. Every time I go I have been very impressed with the people, facility, bar and food. Great venue for concerts and private company events.
AJ Kennedy
Always have great concerts and the staff are by far some of the nicest people. You wont ever have a bad experience.
Ray Moss
The service here is always great.. The vibe and atmosphere is wonderful, most of all, Dustin, who helped us out in VIP is by far the best part of the package deal.. AWESOME customer service skills and a great people person.. This guy has what it takes to run the entire show himself.. Look forward to my next visit here
Chad Fairchild
Seeing a show at the knitting Factory needs to be on everyone's to do list. Awesome venue.
Yesica Lugo
Food was great. also loved the fact that they went around to make sure people we're sitting in the correct seats. I enjoyed my visit :)
Ian Owens
Saw Ari Shadfir live, great venue for a great show. Full bar with ID open before doors open to the show, it's awesome.
Jeremy Michael Lemro
Seen some great show here. Sure gets packed when there is a great band there. Staff seems pretty friendly.
Mendy Boyce
Staff was awesome...show was awesome...they do need to mark sections if they are reserved.....past that excellent concert! XD
Cafi
Nice, small venue. Shows feel more personal and intimate. Great sound. Wish there was more seating though.
Noel Smith
High energy show!!! Very professional musicians with quite the talent. Please come back soon, we loved the show.
Steady Banjo6973
Just watched the Yung Blud concert last night and it was amazing!
Amanda Gallup
I love this place. Their bar staff is top notch and never disappoint. They support our community and it’s just an all around good place to hang out.

Andre Finlinson
Not a bad view in the house, sound was great everywhere also. Great place to see a show. Drinks are expensive but you knew that...
Cassidy Holbrook
I have been going to concerts here for years, I am always pleased to hear when a band comes here the Venue is small enought that you are close to the stage, the staff is always nice and watches the crowd for crazy people
Dain Hamilton
Sat in the Skybox to see Neutral Milk Hotel last night. It was an amazing show and the skybox having its own server was very convenient. Would recommend.
Janae K (Personal)
The Knitting Factory gets great bands but they always oversell shows. The space isn't conducive to hundreds of people being able to see a show but management keeps packing people in.
Brandi Kelly
Love the intimate feel of seeing my favorite bands in a small venue setting! Great security!
Sandi Gamblin
Love this place and the variety of music events!
Lisa Steg
Went and saw Randy Rogers at the knitting factory being from Texas, was by far the best place to see your favorite entertainers, about as close and personal as you can get. Loved it.
Ida Jokisaari
Fun show, they won't give you water though. They only sell it or tell you to use the drinking fountain. I always find that somewhat unethical in a venue.
Shaun Coe (Woozylion)
Saw trampled by turtles here. Good multi level set up they have going on.
Ryan Tucker
Seen Gavin Degraw and Phillip Phillips here. Was impressed with the sound and the stage. Would definitely recommend this place for any music fan.

Lots of space, ok food options for a concert venue. Plan on paying for parking in a garage unless you get lucky with street parking.

Security is a nightmare 9/10 times. Take forever to get in and miss a fair amount of the acts. Bar service is rough. But being limited in number of venues ,if you want to see a bigger name it has to be here.
Gage Hamilton
great venue! the sound is always good, and they host a lot of really good indie bands.
Jesse Fleming
Knitting factory was rad. Show was great drinks fairlyish priced for what youd expect for a concert, and the sound system THUMPS. 10/10

I give it five stars for Boise because Boise to one Star City and this is probably five stars in Boise three stars in cans and if you compare it to the original knitting factory on an old tuberculosis ward in New York well this is a 1/2 * is what it is. Lolz🤩😭 …
Jason Ramey
Killer sound system. They get lots of cool bands. Alcohol prices are out of control though. 7 bucks for a rolling rock.

Awesome location for an event. The staff were very friendly but we had some issues with wi-fi when we were collecting donations from the charity event.
